Worshipping the Serpent "Within" in our Age of Apostasy

In the classic work, "Earth's Earliest Ages" English theologian G.H. Pember (1837-1910) examines the role of satanic forces in the first destruction of earth under God's judgment and compares them to the explosion of spiritism (open intercourse with evil spirits), ancient Egyptian Hermetic magic, Theosophy, Buddhism, reincarnation, karma, the Mysteries, astrology and mesmeric healings sweeping across Christendom.

It was during the Renaissance that many influential Christians at the highest levels of Church and society had returned to the occult Wisdom Teachings that originated in ancient Egypt with Hermes Trismegistus.  In his own time, Pember observes that ancient occult traditions are no longer veiled in mystery but boldly presented by the powerful occult brotherhood as the fruit of modern science, especially evolutionary philosophy, which  the brotherhood assert was included in the instructions given,

“…to the initiates of the Hermetic, Orphic, Eleusinian, and Cabbalistic mysteries, and were familiar to Chaldean Magi, Egyptian Priests, Hindu Occultists, Essenes, Therapeutae Gnostics, and Theurgic Neo-Platonists.” (Pember, pp.243-244)

In the impeccably researched “Scientific Analysis of the Writings of Alice A. Bailey and their Applications,” Robert A. Hermann Ph.D. affirms Pembers claim with respect to the occult origins of the evolutionary science so widespread in our time.   Herrmann traces modern evolutionary thinking--which has infiltrated the whole body of the Church--back to 1750 and the Spanish-French occultist the Martine’s de Pasqually (1715?-1779) whose biological conception predates Darwin’s theory and held that an adept spiritually evolves into higher and higher forms on various evolutionary levels.  (raherrmann.com)

Pember knows that occult teachings are grounded in knowledge received from evil spirits, thus he particularly connects evolutionary philosophy to spiritism.   This teaching said Pember, made the world ready for the deeper teachings of the Brotherhood (fallen angels):

"…..the Brotherhood decided that the time had come to communicate with it, and openly influence its religion and philosophy. They have, however, become so etherealized by their practices that they are unable to endure contact with coarse human nature; it was, therefore, necessary to employ intermediaries.  The first person known to have been chosen for this purpose was a Madame Blavatsky.”  (pp. 243-246)

In affirmation, Corinne McLaughlin and Gordon Davidson, the politically influential co-authors of “Spiritual Politics: Changing the World from the Inside Out,” admit that their book is based on the Ageless Wisdom teachings preserved by occultists since the Egyptian pantheon (27th-30th centuries B.C) and handed down over the ages to modern occultists in the time of the Renaissance, the Enlightenment and on into our own time:

"For centuries, the Ageless Wisdom in the West was shielded from an unprepared public…. The unveiled truths were handed down only orally by individual teachers to tested disciples or by certain religious groups and secret societies, such as the Cabbalists, Druids, Essenes, Sufis, Knights Templar, Rosicrucian’s, Freemasons, and others who carefully guarded the teachings down through the centuries. A study of these secret societies would reveal powerful influences on the history of nations….”  (Spiritual Politics, McLaughlin, Davidson from “Reinventing Jesus Christ: The New Gospel,” Warren Smith, crossroad.to)

Beginning with the work of the Brotherhood and/or Masters acting through Blavatsky, Ageless Wisdom has succeeded in over-spreading W. Europe and America and made deep inroads into the whole body of the Church over the last one hundred years. Blavatsky’s important book, ‘The Secret Doctrine’ (1888) paved the way by synthesizing,

“…..Christian, Jewish, and Islamic mysticism with the Eastern teachings of Hinduism, Taoism, and Buddhism, showing their common roots and comparing their sacred texts….”

The next development came through the teachings of Alice Bailey, an apostate Evangelical:

“…. In 1919 Bailey was contacted by a Tibetan master, Djwhal Khul, who asked her to write a series of books with him telepathically that would continue Blavatsky’s work. Over a period of thirty years, Bailey received eighteen books from him on the nature of the cosmos and the human being, outlining principles for individual spiritual growth and humanity’s next evolutionary steps. In 1923 Bailey founded Lucis Trust [originally called Lucifer Publishing, ed.] to bring the teachings in her books to the public. A year later she began the Arcane School. The books were written to apply to several levels of consciousness at once and thus can be read by both beginners and advanced students. Her works have been especially helpful to the two of us in our own spiritual growth and have provided much of the inspiration for Spiritual Politics."

Central to ancient Egyptian and modern Hermetic orders such as the Order of the Golden Dawn, Theosophy and New Age is ophiolatry (worship of serpents/Lucifer) and the theme of a pantheon of nine Sun Gods or with modern orders, an occult Hierarchy of nine evolved Brothers or Masters: god-men who have finished their cycles of reincarnation and material evolution but have chosen to remain here on the earth (Gaia) to serve people in their own conscious evolution as well as guide Gaia's spiritual evolution:

“(The solar deity Kneph was pictured as a serpent in a fiery circle and Osiris) was essentially identical with Kneph…The worship of Isis, the moon-goddess, was equally entwined with ophiolatry.  Her emblem was the horned viper…The Egyptians often represented Isis and Osiris together, as two serpents.”  (The Cult of the All-Seeing Eye, Robert Keith Spenser, p. 35)

Depending on who they are speaking to, the nine Masters variously call themselves the Brotherhood, Space Brothers, Ascended Masters, the ancient Ennead of Egypt (the nine Sun Gods), Nine Principles of God, the Deep Space Nine, the Group, Sirians and Council of Nine.  Today there is a vast and growing network of channelers purporting to receive messages from the Nine and still others calling themselves Light Workers who claim to have presented briefings from the Group five times at the United Nations.

Another important theme connecting all ancient and modern Hermetic Orders and Mystery religions is the Sirius star system.  From the time of the Egyptians, Sumerians and Babylonians occult teachings have invariably attributed to Sirius a special status in connection with Isis (Sirius A), Osiris (Sirius B), astrology, Hermeticism, the Mysteries, secret initiations, conceptions of transmigration, reincarnation, astral plane travels and other forms of occult evolutionary philosophy.

Hermetic Mystery schools and orders teach that Sirius is the divine “sun behind the sun” that is both the true source of the sun’s energy which keeps the physical world alive, as well as the divine substance that keeps the spiritual world alive.  Whereas the sun illuminates the physical world, which is considered to be an illusion, Sirius is the “real light," the Great Dragon, Cosmic Serpent, Chaos, Abraxas, Star Maker, Ground of Being, or Essence of material phenomena, meaning that the material universe exists only as a grand illusion or mental construction as it does for example in the mind of Brahman:

"Brahman is real, the world is unreal." (swamij.com/mahavakyas)

The two most important figures associated with Hermetic Theosophy, Madame Blavatsky and Alice Bailey, considered Sirius to be the source of mystical serpent power: the seething energies of Lucifer that exert a spiritual influence over the entire Sephiroth or cosmic tree of life and therefore directly link with every great religion of antiquity because these energies extend into the psyche of mankind.

Bailey taught that Sirius is the “Great White Lodge” and believed it to be the spiritual home of the “Spiritual Hierarchy.” For this reason she considered Sirius as the star of initiation:

"This is the great star of initiation because our Hierarchy (an expression of the second aspect of divinity) is under the supervision or spiritual magnetic control of the Hierarchy of Sirius. These are the major controlling influences whereby the cosmic Christ works upon the Christ principle in the solar system, in the planet, in man and in the lower forms of life expression. It is esoterically called the “brilliant star of sensitivity.”   (The Mysterious Connection Between Sirius and Human History, vigilantcitizen.com, Dec. 12, 2012)

Baily also taught that Luciferian energy emanating from Sirius is the energy of thought: a mind force that reaches the solar system from a distant cosmic center via Sirius. Sirius acts as the transmitter,

"...or the focalising centre, whence emanate those influences which produce self-consciousness in man.”  (ibid)

The Hermetic Way of the Dragon

The Hermetic way of psychic power and self-salvation is the antithesis of the Way of Jesus Christ God Incarnate (Romans 3:24; 6:23; 10:9-10; Eph. 1:7; 2:8-9) and began with a mysterious man known as Hermes Trismegistus.

The ancients identified Hermes with Mercury and Anubis (brother to Osiris).   His emblem, the caduceus, was a talismanic serpent representing the power of Mercury as a Sun-god. Speculations abound on exactly when and where Hermes lived.  Some modern New Age occultists believe he was a contemporary of Noah in the pre-flood world which they call Atlantis.  Others believe he lived in ancient Egypt during the time of Moses.

In “Biographa Antiqua” the English occultist Frances Barret writes that Hermes “communicated the sum of the Abyss, and divine knowledge to all posterity.” The word “Abyss” refers to ancient and modern pantheist and/or panentheist conceptions such as the Watery Abyss, Divine One Substance, Primordial Matter, or with Hermes, the Universal Life personified by the Great Serpent or Dragon from whose body and wings stream illuminating serpent power, or with Bailey, ‘those influences which produce self-consciousness in man.’

Bailey is expressing the Hermetic principle which speaks of the correlation between the substance of the Great Serpent and the mind of man expressed in the world famous magic formula: “As above, so below.”

The substance (body) and seething powers of the Great Dragon or Serpent are symbolized by the Oroboros, a powerful occult symbol also known as the Sephiroth, great chain of being, cosmic tree of life, and with Darwin the tree of life. The Oroboros ‘above’ corresponds to a number of different evolutionary levels and realms comprising the habitation of all supernatural entities and various heavens and hells such as the Black Lodge.  Thus the substance of the Great Dragon’s body  with its supposed multiple dimensions and life and thought-giving serpent energies not only powers the Divine Substance above but reaches down into the psyche, capturing the imagination, stunting and befouling the conscience, causing evolutionary change, and conferring psychic powers and divinity (you can be as God).

The Luciferian Manly P. Hall (1901-1990) concurs.  According to Manly, Hermetic Freemasonry is an occult science of the soul,

“…a divine symbolic language perpetuating (by) certain concrete symbols the sacred mysteries of the ancients.”  When a Masonry adept has learned the “mystery of his Craft (then the) seething energies of Lucifer are in his hands and before he may step onward and upward, he must prove his ability to properly apply energy.”  (New World Order: The Ancient Plan of Secret Societies, William T. Still, p. 30)

The foundation of Hermes occult way is forbidden knowledge revealed to him during self-induced trance and/or meditation states resulting in altered states of consciousness that opened his mind to contact with the Great Dragon:

“Meditation is the doorway between worlds….the pathway between dimensions.” (The Layman’s Guide to Enlightenment, Celeste G. Graham, 1980, p. 13)

The Dragon revealed to Hermes that his own nature is divine, meaning that God and psychic power is “within.”   The Divine Pymander of Hermes Trismegistus relates Hermes mystical encounter with the Great Dragon who called itself Poimandres, the Mind of the Universe that is within Hermes. (themystica.com)

Upon transforming itself into a glorious being of Light the Dragon proceeded to enlighten Hermes with the forbidden knowledge that over time found its’ way into Christendom during the Renaissance giving birth to an array of Secret Societies as well as to pantheist theological liberalism and its’ primary doctrine evolution, William James theory of the subconscious, the demon-haunted Carl Jung’s transpersonal and depth psychology, occult New Age, Phillip Pullman’s dark Gnosticism, Mind Science, New Thought, the Alpha Course, Silva Method, Word of Faith, Positive Imaging, Visualization/Dreaming, and the multi-million dollar best-sellers “A Course in Miracles” and “The Secret.”  The common denominator of these societies, theories, books and techniques is “God and psychic power is within:”

“People go through their whole lives chasing everything in the material world, and they fail to discover the greatest treasure of all, which is within them.  Shut your eyes to the outside world.  Direct your thoughts and words inside of you.  The Master within you is the key to all the treasures in the world.” (Rhonda Byrne, “The Secret Daily Teachings”)

“Since the unconscious is God all along, we may further define the goal of spiritual growth to be the attainment of godhood by the conscious self.”  (A Different Drum, M. Scott Peck)

“….all is mind and…everything is governed by law (thus man) can create, or have created for him from his own thinking.  He can create such a strong mental atmosphere of success that its power of attraction will be irresistible.  He can send his thoughts throughout the world and have it bring back to him whatever he wants.” (Creative Mind and Success, Ernest Holmes, New Thought practitioner)

“Your unconscious mind (has a) power that turns wishes into realities when the wishes are strong enough.” (“Positive Imaging,” Norman Vincent Peale, 1982, p. 77)

Word Faith teacher Kenneth Copeland tells people to visualize any image,

“…that you get down inside you that is so vivid when you close your eyes you see it, it’ll come to pass.  When God came at the Tower of Babel, He said, ‘Anything they can imagine, they can do.” (Inner Image of the Covenant, side 2, Copeland)

Yonggi Cho similarly teaches that through visualizing and dreaming you will,

“….incubate that which we want God to do for us….If you have not visualized clearly in your heart exactly what you hope for, it cannot become a reality to you…”  (The Fourth Dimension, Vol. 1, Yonggi Cho, 1979, 9-35, vol. 2, 18-33)

Believing the Lie

"And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie." (2 Thessalonians 2:11)

In “The Spiritist Fallacy,” a penetrating analysis of the Hermetic Theosophy, Buddhism and Spiritism that emerged out of the Renaissance taking hold of the minds of modernist priests and intellectuals, the highly respected French traditionalist metaphysician Rene Guenon (1886-1951) describes deluded “enlightened” theologians and intellectuals as those who cannot speak of the devil,

“….without a smile of disdain, or an even more contemptuous shrug of the shoulders.” (p. 252)

Their smug contempt is due to the fact that they believed the spiritist lie that Lucifer is not the devil but rather the “light-bearer.”  After all, if evolution is true, as enlightened sophisticates believe, then there was no fall, hence man is not fallen and Lucifer is not the devil but the first free-thinker, the emancipator of man and the angel of evolution.  Modern sophisticates even go so far as to call him ‘the Great Creative Intelligence.’  Thus they invoke Lucifer and perform his cult, but in fact these people,

“…though in fact Satanists, are only unconsciously so, for they are mistaken as to the nature of the entity to whom they address their worship….It goes without saying that these ‘enlightened’ priests are all plainly modernists and that the spirit animating them is strangely similar to that affirmed in these lines.” (p. 254)

With respect to “modern” spiritist doctrine Guenon notes its’ peculiar agreement with the esoteric religion of the Brahmins:

“Now this….has been taught to lower grade initiates in Himalayan temples for perhaps more than a thousand years!  This similarity is curious at the very least, and one can say without paradox that spiritism is only esoteric Brahmanism in broad daylight.”  (p. 41)

Guenon also argues that every “modern” conception that notably disfigures the living God as evolution does is Satanic, and in this sense, all theories of a limited God and of an immanent (pantheist) God who evolves must be placed in the front rank.

Turning to the theories of William James (1842-1910), the father of American psychology, Guenon describes them as examples of unconscious Satanism for two reasons.   First, James theory of “religious experience” as a manifestation of the “subconscious” by which man communicates with the pantheist Divine “within” is only one step away from “condoning the practices of spiritism” with the further consequences of conferring on evil spirits an eminently religious character and being initiated into experiences of the psychic and spirit realm. Initiation involves one in something far beyond the conscious control of the human will, thus once a person has been initiated their spirit/soul is open to bondage, harassment and madness.

Second, the notion that the subconscious puts man in contact with the Divine “within” puts God,

“…in the inferior states of being, in feris in the literal sense of this expression.  This then is a properly ‘infernal’ doctrine, a reversal of universal order, which is precisely what we call ‘Satanism.’  Guenon adds, “The devil is not only terrible, he is often grotesque…” (pp. 258-262)

Building off of James serpent-animated theories, the demon-haunted psychiatrist Carl Jung (1875-1961) taught that the psyche (spirit/soul) consists of two main systems:  a personal unconscious and a deeper more significant layer which he called the collective unconscious with archetypes.

Jung’s system incorporates Hermetic magic, biological and spiritual theories of evolution, reincarnation, pantheist conceptions of a Gnostic pleroma (divine substance) and various other occult doctrines and psycho-spiritual technologies from around the world.

Jung delved deeply into the occult, practiced necromancy and had daily contact with familiar spirits which he called archetypes because he believed they were manifestations of powers innate in the collective unconscious (substance of the Great Dragon).

Much of Jung’s psychological insight was acquired from his familiar spirits, particularly Philemon and Basilides.  Philemon appeared to Jung in a grotesque humanoid body with wings and the head of a horned bull. At first Jung thought his spirit familiars were manifestations of his own psyche, but toward the end of his life he realized with horror that Philemon, Basilides, and the many other spirit entities that were a common feature of his life were in fact highly intelligent hostile beings independent of human consciousness.   Speaking of Philemon, Jung said:

“Philemon represented a force which was not myself…..I held conversations with him, and he said things which I had not consciously thought.    For I observed clearly that it was he who spoke, not I….Psychologically, Philemon represented superior insight.  He was a mysterious figure to me.   At times he seemed to me quite real, as if he were a living personality.  I went walking up and down the garden with him, and to me he was what the Indians call a guru.”  (Memories, Dreams, Reflections, Carl Jung, p. 183, cited from PsychoHeresy: C.G. Jung’s Legacy to the Church, PsychoHeresy Awareness Ministries)

Jung uses the name Abraxas to describe the impersonal Gnostic pleroma  (substance of the Great Dragon) out of which mind and then other mental powers emerged.  The word Abraxas is found in esoteric Gnostic texts such as the “Holy Book of the Great Invisible Spirit” and also in the Greek “Magical Papyri.”

In 1916 Jung received further revelations from his demon familiars, this time by way of automatic writing as he recorded a Gnostic treatise called “The Seven Sermons to the Dead.”   Labeled a core text in depth psychology the treatise describes Abraxas as a “God” higher than the living, personal Holy God in Three Persons that combines all opposites into a single androgynous Being.

As with all Ageless Wisdom teachings, underlying Jung’s demon-derived “transpersonal and depth psychology” is the Hermetic correlation of the substance of Abraxas (collective unconscious and archetypes) with the personal unconscious of man, hence, “As above, so below.”

According to the Apostle Paul fallen angels cast down from heaven together with demons are dispersed in a multitude throughout the whole expanse of sky (Eph. 2:2; 6:12).  This means that William James ‘subconscious’ and Jung’s ‘collective unconscious’ with its archetypes are actually the expanse of sky under the heavens which supposedly connects the substance of the Great Dragon to the psyche of man. Thus to “go within” the “subconscious” (James) or “personal unconscious” (Jung) so as to channel the Divine “within,” is to perform the cult of Satan which opens the spirit/soul to contact with powers and principalities and their chief, the devil.

Though there are increasing numbers of psychologists and psychiatrists who now affirm their belief in evil spirits and their ability to harass, influence and possess human beings, the majority are still heavily influenced by Jung’s demon-derived theories, thus they insist that what they call “paranormal experiences”are perhaps hallucinations caused by the innate powers of human imagination or representations of interplay between the left and right hemispheres of the brain and/or the therapeutic release of unconscious repressions.

Unlike most modern psychiatrists and psychologists, Nanci Des Gerlaise, a Cree Native American woman raised on a Metis settlement, needs no convincing. Almost from birth her life consisted of occult bondage and terrifying demonic harassment until she found deliverance through Jesus Christ.

Nanci knows without the least bit of doubt that demons exist and can even take the shape of animals, birds and other more frightening creatures.   She knows that medicine men still engage in symbolic baby sacrifices to Satan in return for more spiritual power.   She knows because her own father offered her to Satan.  Her life then belonged to the devil and became filled night and day with all kinds of evil:

This is what happened to me and one reason why I had such a struggle when I became a Christian.   Satan still claimed ownership of me.  The tug of war first started when I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior….He set me free from occult bondages and demonic harassment….Christianity (is) God’s way of salvation.  Colossians 1:12-14 made perfect sense to me…” (Muddy Waters, Gerlaise, pp. 51, 79-80)

Nanci’s book, “Muddy Waters” is far more than a biography.  It is a clear and compelling warning to all Christians living in sin, apostatizing churches, practitioners of occult psycho-spiritual technologies, advocates for interfaith/interspirituality and spiritual formation (occult techniques dressed in Christian motifs) that forces of darkness really do exist and will make your life a living nightmare of disembodied voices, terrifying encounters with demonic entities, thoughts of suicide and murder, and even possession.

“Now the Spirit manifestly saith, that in the last times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to spirits of error, and doctrines of devils.” 1 Tim. 4:1

From the time of Hermes, ancient and modern occult pagan adepts have been employing a variety of occult psycho-spiritual techniques to “go within” in search of psychic powers and immortality:

“…..I can be saved only by becoming one with the universe.  Thereby, too, my deepest ‘pantheist’ aspirations.  It was especially the image of God which Teilhard saw in need of urgent redefinition.   Modern man has not yet found the God he can adore, A God commensurate to the newly discovered dimensions of the universe.” (Towards a New Mysticism, Teilhard de Chardin and Eastern Religions, Ursula King, p. 172)

The corollary to our age of lawless Christians and spreading apostasy is an explosive revival of   ancient Hermetic spiritism.  A major reason is that modern psychology allegedly provides us with a “scientific” explanation that ascribes whatever frightening entities encountered while on brain-altering substances or through centering, yogic trance, visualizing and dreaming or other occult techniques to archetypal images from the collective unconscious.

The common thread running through all of this is the diabolical mind of the serpent, the same fallen angel who tempted Adam and Eve in the Garden with the words, “Ye shall be as Gods” (Gen. 3:5) but now seduces with the words, “go within.”

Sirius, UFOs, Transcended Masters & the Coming New Age 'Christ'

In the classic work, "Earth's Earliest Ages"  English theologian G.H. Pember (1837-1910) examines the role of demonic forces in the first destruction of earth under God's judgment and compares them to the advance of spiritualism, Hermetic magic, Luciferian Theosophy, Buddhism, reincarnation, and karma sweeping across Christendom.

Pember notes that open intercourse with demons (spiritualism/channeling), the ancient Mysteries, magical practices, astrology, mesmeric healings, Eastern mysticism and reincarnation have arisen on a vast scale in the very heart of Christendom.  These ancient superstitions are no longer veiled in mystery but present themselves as the fruit of modern science,

"..the advances of Modern Science, and especially the spread of evolutionary philosophy, having fitted the world for deeper teaching, the Brotherhood decided that the time had come to communicate with it, and openly influence its religion and philosophy.  They have, however, become so etherealized by their practices that they are unable to endure contact with coarse human nature: it was, therefore necessary to employ intermediaries." Helena Blavatsky was "chosen for this purpose..." (pp. 243-245)

After devoting herself to occult pursuits for some thirty years, Madame Helena Petrova Blavatsky (1831-1891) repaired to a Himalayan retreat where she spent seven years under the immediate direction of the Masters (Brotherhood) who initiated and instructed her for her mission.   Upon her dismissal she traveled to America and organized the Theosophical Society.  In one of her great works, "Isis Unveiled," she points to signs foretelling the approaching day, which is in fact our own day, when the West will have finally rejected supernatural Christian theism and faithful Judaism and embrace the proofs,

"....that only ancient religions were in harmony with nature, and ancient science embraced all that can be known...An era of disenchantment and rebuilding will soon begin---nay, has already begun....a new (age) is about to begin, and the future pages of history may contain full evidence and convey full proof, that if ancestry can be....believed, Descending spirits have conversed with man, And told him secrets of the world unknown." (Isis Unveiled, vol. I., p. 38)

Blavatsky's teachings were strongly syncretic, drawing from Eastern mysticism, Tibetan, Platonic and Neoplatonic systems, Hermetic Kabbalism , and contemporary 19th century occult magic and scientific sources.  Blavatsky's legacy was an  occult vision further developed by later esotericists such as Rudolph Steiner and Alice Bailey that simultaneously offered a detailed occult analysis of the evolving universe of matter and energy and  the spiritual forces and hierarchies behind it as well as reaffirming the universal emanationist cosmology of ancient Gnosticism.

Blavatsky's teachings informed and shaped Hitler's occult neo-pagan regime and eventually unleashed an explosion of occult knowledge, magic and Eastern mysticism here in the West that began in the late sixties and still powers Hermetic, Wicca, neo-paganism, UFO and New Age movements sweeping over America and the West today.

Central to Hermetic orders such as the Order of the Golden Dawn and Theosophy is the theme of an occult Hierarchy of evolved Masters---god-men who have finished their cycles of reincarnation and material evolution but have chosen to remain here on the earth (Gaia) to serve people in their own conscious evolution as well as guide Gaia's spiritual evolution.

Blavatsky and other key Theosophists claimed to be in communication with, and to receive materialised letters from materialized Masters residing in Tibet.  Blavatsky's master was said to be Kut Humi, (a supposed reincarnation of Pythagoras and Francis of Assisi).

With  Alice Bailey these communications became telepathic transmissions (channeling/mediumism), and finally the Tibetan Masters were supplanted by other masters without a physical locality.   These masters variously call themselves for example, the Brotherhood, Space Brothers, Ascended Masters, the ancient Ennead of Egypt (major gods and goddesses of Egypt), Nine Principles of God, the Deep Space Nine and Council of Nine.

Today there exists a vast and growing online network of UFO channelers and others calling themselves Light Workers claiming to be in telepathic communication with the Masters.   Light Workers have even held open channeling sessions at the U.N.

Another important theme connecting all ancient and modern Hermetic Orders and Mystery religions is the Dog Star--- Sirius.  From the time of the Sumerians, Babylonians and Egyptians to our own age esoteric teachings have invariably attributed to Sirius a special status and the star’s importance in occult symbolism attests to this fact.

Artifacts of ancient civilizations reveal that Sirius was of  great importance to astrology, Hermeticism, the Mysteries, secret initiations, conceptions of transmigration and reincarnation and other forms of occultism.

Mystery schools teach that Sirius is the divine “sun behind the sun” and therefore is both the true source of our sun’s energy which keeps our physical world alive, but also the divine one substance that keeps the spiritual world alive.  Whereas the sun illuminates the physical world, which is considered to be a grand illusion, Sirius is the “real light," the Great Cosmic Spirit--- the Ultimate One Substance (i.e., Egyptian Nu, Chaos, Void, Brahman, Star Maker, Quantum Void) or Essence of material phenomena, meaning that the universe exists only as a grand illusion or mental construction as it does for example, in the mind of Brahman: brahma satyam jagan mithya, or "Brahman is real, the world is unreal." (swamij.com/mahavakyas)

In the time of the Pharoahs, Sirius--the guardian of the path of souls (magic way, cosmic tree of life) was the foundation of the Egyptians’ entire religious system. It was worshipped as Sothis and associated with Isis, the mother goddess of Egyptian mythology. Isis is the female aspect of the androgynous trinity consisting of Sirius, Osiris and their son Horus.

A fascinating aspect of Sirius is the consistency of occult symbolism and meanings attached to it:

" Several great civilizations have indeed associated Sirius with a dog-like figure and viewed the star as either the source or the destination of a mysterious force. In Chinese and Japanese astronomy, Sirius is known as the “star of the celestial wolf”. Several aboriginal tribes of North America referred to the star in canine terms: the Seri and Tohono O’odham tribes of the southwest describe the Sirius as a “dog that follows mountain sheep”, while the Blackfoot call it “Dog-face”. The Cherokee paired Sirius with Antares as a dog-star guardian of the “Path of Souls”. The Wolf (Skidi) tribe of Nebraska knew it as the “Wolf Star”, while other branches of knew it as the “Coyote Star”. Further north, the Alaskan Inuit of the Bering Strait called it “Moon Dog."  (The Mysterious Connection Between Sirius and Human History, vigilantcitizen.com, Dec. 12, 2012)

In "The Sirius Mystery" (1971) American author Robert Temple argues that the mythology of the Dogon's, an ancient African tribe, bears striking similarities to the ones of other ancient civilizations such as the Sumerians, Egyptians, and Babylonians.   Temple writes that like the others it includes the archetypal myth of a “great teacher from above” and relates that mankind was born from the Nommo,

"...a race of amphibians who were inhabitants of a planet circling Sirius. They are said to have “descended from the sky in a vessel accompanied by fire and thunder” and imparted to humans profound knowledge. This lead Robert Temple to theorize that the Nommos were extraterrestrial inhabitants of Sirius who travelled to earth at some point in the distant past to teach ancient civilizations (such as the Egyptians and Dogons) about the Sirius star system as well as our own solar system. These civilizations would then record the Nommos’ teachings in their religions and make them a central focus of their Mysteries." (ibid)

Depending on the civilization,

"...this great teacher is known as eith Enoch, Thoth or Hermes Trismegistus and is said to have taught humanity theurgic sciences. In occult traditions, it is believed that Thoth-Hermes had taught the people of Atlantis, which, according to legend, became the world’s most advanced civilization before the entire continent  was submerged by the Great Deluge (accounts of a flood can be found in the mythologies of countless civilizations). Survivors from Atlantis travelled by boat to several countries, including Egypt, where they imparted their advanced knowledge. Occultists believe that the inexplicable resemblances between distant civilizations (such as the Mayas and the Egyptians) can be explained by their common contact with Atlanteans." (ibid)

In Freemasonry, Sirius is a symbol of deity, of omnipresence and omniscience (the Divine Mind or One Substance that is present everywhere and knows all).  Sirius is therefore the home of the Ascended Masters and sacred place all Masons (as well as all who traverse the Magic Way) must spiritually ascend as Sirius is the source of divine power and the ultimate destination of consciously evolved divine individuals.

In his "Morals and Dogma," the celebrated occult Freemason Albert Pike said:

“(The Blazing Star) originally represented SIRIUS, or the Dog-star, the forerunner of the inundation of the Nile; the God ANUBIS, companion of ISIS in her search for the body of OSIRIS, her brother and husband. Then it became the image of HORUS, the son of OSIRIS, himself symbolized also by the Sun, the author of the Seasons, and the God of Time; Son of ISIS, who was the universal nature, himself the primitive matter, inexhaustible source of Life, spark of uncreated fire, universal seed of all beings. It was HERMES, also, the Master of Learning, whose name in Greek is that of the God Mercury.” (ibid)

The two most important figures associated with Theosophy, Madame Blavatsky and Alice Bailey, considered Sirius to be a source mystical power---evolution, the seething energies of Lucifer that exert a spiritual influence over the entire Orobouros or cosmic tree of life and is therefore directly linked with every great religion of antiquity because the universal life force extends into the psyche of mankind.

Alice Bailey sees Sirius as the “Great White Lodge” and believes it to be the home of the “Spiritual Hierarchy.” For this reason she considers Sirius as the star of initiation:

"This is the great star of initiation because our Hierarchy (an expression of the second aspect of divinity) is under the supervision or spiritual magnetic control of the Hierarchy of Sirius. These are the major controlling influences whereby the cosmic Christ works upon the Christ principle in the solar system, in the planet, in man and in the lower forms of life expression. It is esoterically called the “brilliant star of sensitivity.”   (ibid)

Baily teaches that the Luciferian energy emanating from Sirius is the energy of thought, a mind force that reaches the solar system from a distant cosmic center via Sirius, which acts as the transmitter,

"...or the focalising centre, whence emanate those influences which produce self-consciousness in man.”  (ibid)

From the time of the ancients till our own, Sirius has been seen as the home of the Ascended Masters, the “great teachers”  who are to return to earth one day.  But what Alice Baily saw as she ascended the Magic Way, coming ever closer to the Ascended Masters was "clear cold fire."   Interestingly, Dante described the lowest part of Hell as clear ice.

As she approached the Hierarchy (or lowest part of Hell), she said,

"...darkness is pure spirit" and each "contact with the Initiator leads the initiate closer to the centre of pure darkness---a darkness which is the very antithesis of darkness...It is a centre or point of such intense brilliance that everything fades out and at the place of tension, and at that darkest point (we) see a point of cold clear fire." (False Dawn: The United Religious Initiative, Globalism, and the Quest for a One-World Religion, Lee Penn, p. 283)

The Apostle Paul speaks not of a Magic Way, Ascended Masters and their home on Sirius but of fallen angels, the "spirits of wickedness under the heavens" (Eph. 6:12) and their chief, "the prince of the powers of the air." (Eph. 2:2)

According to Paul, fallen angels are dispersed in a multitude throughout the whole blue expanse of sky which is visible to us---the dwelling place for the host of fallen angels who have been cast down from heaven.   It is fallen angels calling themselves spirit guides, the Council of Nine, Ascended Masters, the Christ, God and so on that are telepathically communicating with growing numbers of fascinated mediums and Light Workers in our age and they say that,

"When the gospel of gods kingdom on earth has been preached throughout the world, then the end shall come or the second coming of the Christ of the Aquarian age shall take place." "The Christ of the Aquarian age will arrive in the first public spaceship landing, to be seen by all your people on international satellite television…."(Ashtar p.163, from A UFO 2nd coming, LetUsReason.org)

Hypnotic Procedures: From Babylon's Sorcerers and Magicians to Our Own Time

In "The Aquarian Conspiracy," a book that has been called 'the New Age Bible,' Marilyn Ferguson (1938-2008) enthusiastically reports that a great, shuddering irrevocable shift is overtaking us,

"It is a new mind, a turnabout in consciousness in critical numbers of individuals, a network powerful enough to bring about radical change in our culture.   This network....has already enlisted the minds, hearts and resources of some of our most advanced thinkers, including Nobel laureate scientists, philosophers, statesmen, celebrities....who are working to create a different kind of society...The technologies for expanding and transforming personal consciousness, once the secret of an elite, are now generating massive change in every cultural institution---medicine, politics, business, education, religion and the family."   (America: The Sorcerer's New Apprentice, Hunt & McMahon, p. 34)

As Ferguson admitted, the psycho-technologies being employed for the transformation of personal consciousness or spirit, were once the private domain of ancient magicians and sorcerers.   In fact, as Constance Cumbey reveals in her thoroughly researched book, "The Hidden Dangers of the Rainbow," many New Age esoteric historians claim their traditions originated in Atlantis and afterward were preserved in the ancient land of Babylon,

"...and surrounding Plains of Shinar and from there disseminated throughout the earth, including Taoist doctrines of China, Mayan-Aztec teachings of Mexico and Central/South America; Great Spirit teachings of the American Indians, Hindu/Buddhist teachings of Asia, etc" (pp. 250-251)

Occult New Age spirituality relies heavily on spirit revelations channeled through mediums such as the Luciferian Theosophists Helena Blavatsky and Alice Bailey together with their contemporary disciples, Benjamin Crème, Robert Muller, Barbara Marx Hubbard, and Neale Donald Walsh to name but a few.  All of these mediums are not only under the influence of their spirit guides but demonically oppressed by them, often without their conscious awareness.   It is from demons then that the secret knowledge, the technologies for expanding and transforming personal consciousness, has been received.

Ferguson lists a number of these techniques 'for altering consciousness:'

".....Meditation, Self-Hypnosis, Focusing, Centering, Guided Imagery, Visualization, Transcendental Meditation, Yoga, Biofeedback, Dianetics, Silva Mind Control..."  (America: Sorcerer's New Apprentice, p. 43)

According to a 1987 New York Times article, psychologists who have studied these mind-altering techniques said that while participants are in this 'altered state' group-leaders are able to implant new ideas and alter thinking processes:

"Gurus hired to motivate workers are raising fears of 'mind control." (ibid, Hunt, McMahon)

This charge is so grave and frightening that former University of Wisconsin psychology faculty member Edwin Morse warns that graduates of New Age courses being required for employees of many businesses are often "psychologically scarred."  Now in private practice and specializing in helping such people, Dr. Morse declares:

"These (mind-altering) groups are using hypnotic procedures and people are not being told about it." (Dave Hunt, p. 42)

Richard L. Waring of Budget Rent-a-Car Corporation asserts that mind-altering techniques induce a trance-like state and adds that many participants are convinced that they have come under harmful, frightening influence from spirit entities as a result.  Arguing that people exposed by employers to "New Age psycho-technologies (for) altering normal consciousness....ought to be told up front" that inevitably their "fundamental worldviews and Judeo-Christian religious beliefs' are being tampered with, Waring explains,

"For about the last three years, I have observed the introduction and growth of a new philosophy of human potential and development (most often referred to) as the 'New Age' movement... I began noticing a number of consultants and corporate Human Resources Development practitioners who were promoting 'higher creativity,' 'improved memory,' 'accelerated learning,' 'stress management.'  I found that most of these methods were somewhere on Ferguson's list of 'means to altering consciousness'....(and) I began to wonder about the motives of the persons selling these concepts. Were they really out to improve human potential? Or had they had some profound experience on their spiritual journey and were really enlisting others to follow their path?" (ibid, pp. 42-43)

The New Age network is at work within our schools as well.  There they teach children the ancient art of "centering," a  psycho-technology that opens up the minds of children to the influence of demons.  In his book, "America's Schools: The Battleground for Freedom," Allen Quist warns:

"New Age religion is now aggressively being taught in our nation's public schools."  A model curriculum has been developed that "is clearly centered on pantheism."  "Much of what passes for environmental education and multiculturalism is really indoctrination in pantheistic/New Age theology.  The ACLU and other similar organizations have no objections to (pantheistic indoctrination).  It is only Christianity that these organizations object to."  (p. 51)

So-called 'extraterrestrials' are also at work.   In "Alien Intrusion: UFOs and the Evolution Connection," Gary Bates reports that the abduction phenomenon is occurring all over the world, including Third World countries.

UFO researcher Jacques Vallee notes that the abductee's perceptions of reality are being profoundly altered and adds that the structure of abduction stories is identical to occult rituals:

"...contact with ufonauts (is) a modern extension of contact with non-human consciousness in the form of angels, demons, elves, and sylphs....Such contact...often leaves marks and scars on the body and the mind..."   (p. 230)

UFO research-scientist John Keel also likens modern alien abductions to contact with the demonic:

"Demonology is not just another crackpot-ology.  It is the ancient and scholarly study of the monsters and demons who have...coexisted with man throughout history....The manifestations and occurrences described in this imposing literature are similar, if not..identical, to the UFO phenomenon.  Victims of demonomania (possession) suffer the very same medical and emotional symptoms as the UFO contactees..."  (Alien Intrusion: UFOs and the Evolution Connection, Gary Bates, p. 260)

After considerable research, Gary Bates connects psycho-technologies to hypnosis.  So-called 'aliens' use hypnotic methods to enter into the subconscious mind to plant subliminal messages and alter thought processes to embrace the concept of naturalistic evolution which negates the Genesis account. (Bates, p. 262)

According to the Watchman Expositor, hypnosis is linked to ancient religious practices and eastern mystical experiences, involving similar trance states or altered states of consciousness. Such altered states are essential to such practices as out-of-body experiences, astral projection, and Yoga. William Kroger, M.D. and William Fezler Ph.D. maintain that,

"...hypnosis has been practiced in one form or another in the civilized and uncivilized world under many different labels since the dawn of history."  (Hypnosis, James K. Walker, watchman.org)

They further note that historically elements of hypnosis have been an integral part of pagan religious practices and world religions including Assyro-Babylonian exorcism, Egyptian soothsaying, Jewish mysticism, Byzantine Catholicism, Chinese Taoism , Sufism, Hinduism, Shintoism, forms of Buddhism (Tibetan and Zen), and Yoga. (Hypnosis and Behavior Modification, pp. 6-8; ibid).

In  'Recognitions'  church father Clement records an evil deed of the magician Simon that bears a striking resemblance to the effects of modern psycho-technologies.   Clement reports that Simon had begun to commit murder by inducing a child to experience an out of body situation.  By way of mesmerizing,

"...abominable incantations he separated the soul of a child from its own body, that it might become his assistant for the production of whatever apparition he might require.  And he drew a likeness of the boy, and keeps it set up in the inner chamber where he sleeps, affirming that he...formed him of air by transformations such as the gods cause..." (Earth's Earliest Ages, G.H. Pember, p. 181)

In his interpretation of this dark passage, G.H. Pember concluded,

"...by mesmerism Simon had drawn out the spirit of the boy into a higher...state, and then omitted to recall it, so that the spirit had finally separated from the body; and that he had done this for the purpose of procuring a (spirit) familiar....Simon....denied the murder of the boy by asserting that he had merely resolved a spirit-form which he had himself produced." (p. 182)

In his 'Apology'  church father Tertullian writes that if magicians can produce apparitions, bring into evil repute the spirits of men who are dead,

"....mesmerize boys to obtain an oracular response...perform many wonders...by their conjuring illusions; send dreams by the aiding power of angels and demons whom they have...summoned to their assistance; through whose influence also goats and tables have been made to divine; how much more will that Satanic power be zealous to do with all its strength, of its own will, and for its own purposes, that which it does to serve the ends of others." (Pember, pp. 184-185)

A mere eighty years ago, America began moving away from its' founding Biblical-based worldview, and today by all appearances we are in the midst of an unprecedented and all-encompassing spiritual transformation of consciousness, a counter-conversion from belief in the God of the bible to acceptance of Luciferian New Age spirituality in its every false teaching and manifestation.   On the theological front, contemporary liberal and rationalistic theologians within the whole body of the church continue to either trivialize or outright deny the existence of  sin, hell, Satan and demons.   In the face of advancing chaos and demonic oppression in its every form they are utterly impotent, less than useless.

The clearest answer to the chaotic conditions of our times is found in the Bible.  We are living in the Last Days.  History is winding down and Satan is mobilizing his forces for a final all-out assault--- which we are already experiencing (1 Tim. 4:1 and 2; Tim. 3:1-4)  The demonic realm is brazenly interacting with our own realm, and it is in this light that we can understand the growing epidemic of madness, extremism, suicide, depression, apathy, apostasy, lawlessness, and hatred appearing on every side.

We are living in the days of a demonic nature, said Dr. Kurt Koch (1913-1987).  For over fifty years Dr. Koch's name has been synonymous with authoritative and biblical insights and help for all who desire to understand or escape from the mesmerizing influence of the occult and demonic world.

Civilization is marching toward its own destruction said Koch, and if we fail therefore to take our stand at the foot of the cross,

"... fail to build our house upon the Rock, (we will) be swept away by the turmoil of the End-times."  (Demonology Past and Present, Koch, p. 37)

Serpent Power in Ancient and Modern Expressions

In "Why Some Scientists Embrace the 'Multiverse," Dennis Prager reports that he recently participated, along with 30 scholars, mostly scientists and mathematicians, in a conference on the question of whether the universe was designed, or at least fine-tuned, to make life, especially intelligent life. Participants — from Yale, Princeton, Harvard, Berkeley and Columbia among other American and European universities — included believers in G0D, agonistics and atheists. (Prager, Jewish World Review, June 18, 2013)

It was clear, said Prager, that the scientific consensus was that, at the very least, the universe is exquisitely fine-tuned to allow for the possibility of life:

"It appears that we live in a "Goldilocks Universe," in which both the arrangement of matter at the cosmic beginning and the values of various physical parameters — such as the speed of light, the strength of gravitational attraction and the expansion rate of the universe - are just right. And unless one is frightened of the term, it also appears the universe is  designed  for biogenesis and human life." (ibid)

But many atheist scientists and fellow-travelers who insist there be no Creator God put forward the notion of a multiverse despite there being not a shred of evidence for the existence of these universes.

The multiverse hypothesis is a desperate grasp at the fantasy theory first proposed by David Deutsch in his book, "The Fabric of Reality."  Deutsch's theory postulates the existence of an infinite number of parallel universes in the vain hope that in at least one of them, conscious life and order arose by pure chance.

Oxford professor Richard Swinburne responded that Deutsch's hypothesis was madness:

"To postulate a trillion-trillion-trillion other universes, rather than one God, in order to explain the orderliness of our universe, seems the height of irrationality." (Cosmos, Creator and Human Destiny, Dave Hunt, p. 209)

Eminent quantum theorist John Polkinghorne utterly rejects the multiverse nonsense:

"Let us recognize these speculations for what they are.  They are not physics, but....metaphysics.  There is no purely scientific reason to believe in an ensemble of universes....To my mind greater economy and elegance would be that this one world is the way it is because it is the creation of the will of a Creator who purposes that it should be so." (ibid)

Multiverse speculations, as Polkinghorne pointed out, are not physics but metaphysics, and in fact are based in ancient esoteric doctrines (i.e., monism, or one ultimate substance), have not gone away but have rather grown both in popularity and in madness.  For example, Royal Astronomer Lord Martin Rees's argues that if a multitude of universes exist then some of them are likely to allow the evolution of conscious life-forms far more advanced than our own.  And if this is the case, then super-intelligent alien beings might be capable of simulating in their brains or in a super-computer the complex history of our universe, meaning that the universe we inhabit is a simulation lacking real substance and existing only as a mental construction in the minds of our super-intelligent creators, the highly evolved aliens who seeded our world with life and travel through time in order to control time and our evolutionary progress. (Scientific Mythologies, James A. Herrick, p. 216)

Rees claim that the universe we inhabit exists only as a mental construction is very similar to Hinduism's Brahman. Brahman is the Great Cosmic Spirit---the Ultimate One Substance or Essence of material phenomena, meaning that the universe exists only as a mental construction in the mind of Brahman: brahma satyam jagan mithya, or "Brahman is real, the world is unreal." (swamij.com/mahavakyas)

Rees proposal is also very similar to the hypothesis presented by Olaf Stapledon, a scientist who has always kept one foot firmly planted in Gnosticized science fiction accounts.  Stapledon imagines our universe to be an artifact of the Star Maker.  Building off of Stapledon's fantasy Carl Sagan suggests that we are "star folk" made of "star stuff."    (Herrick, pp. 216-217)

Replace Star Maker with Brahman and "star stuff" with sarvam khalvidam brahma, or "All is truly Brahman" (swamij.com) and we have ayam atma brahmam, "The Self is Brahman." ( (Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 4.4.5)

Ree's reveals the ancient esoteric basis of his propositions in the caption of his book, 'Just Six Numbers.  The caption reads:

"The ouraboros. There are links between the microworld of particles, nuclei and atoms [left] and the cosmos[right]." (Rees M., Just Six Numbers, P. 9)

In the text Rees writes,

"Symbolized 'gastronomically' at the top, is the ultimate synthesis that still eludes us-between the cosmos and the quantum." (p. 8)

"Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field…" — Genesis 3:1

The Ouroboros or Uroboros is an occult symbol that means the power, creative and/or evolutionary impulse or energy of the serpent figuratively depicted as a serpent or dragon eating its own tail.  The serpent's body is often depicted as the Great Chain of Being, Cosmic Tree, or with Darwin, the Tree of Life.

The occult Tree of Life with its' multiple dimensions and life-giving energy systems not only powers the universe but reaches into the psyche, stirring imagination, bringing psychic powers and even awakening pre-human memories of when the scientifically "enlightened elites" were fish:

"Remember when you were a fish...." suggested Jean Houston, the prophet of the possible, in a workshop to awaken ancient pre-human memories.   Nearly a thousand people dropped to the floor and began moving their 'fins' as if to propel themselves through water.  "Notice your perception as you roll like a fish. How does your world look, feel, sound, smell, taste?"  Then you came up on land, said Houston, so now you must, "Allow yourself to fully remember being a reptile....Then some of you flew. Others climbed trees."   A zoo of sounds erupted from the herd of pre-human birds, reptiles and apes. (America: The Sorcerer's New Apprentice, Hunt and McMahon, p. 218)

From the time of the ancients serpent power has been important in religious and mythological symbolism all around the world. Within the Egyptian mysteries, the serpent was associated with,

..."the elemental forces that were in play before the creation of the world." (Teichrib, Gods of Ancient  Egypt, p. 182)

In China serpents were spiritually linked with earth and water while in Scandinavian myth a world serpent protected man from cosmic forces of chaos.  The self-described Gnostic Carl Jung interpreted the Ouroboros as having an archetypal significance to the human psyche.    Serpent power is also associated with today's occult New Age spirituality as well as Gnosticism, Hermeticism, Freemasonry and its' blatantly occult Luciferian sister Theosophy, where serpent power represents "self-generation and evolution through its own creative power."

In his book, "The Sign of the Serpent," Mark Balfour relates how pervasive serpent symbols are within India and the Hindu religion:

"Any observant traveler who moves from the snow-tipped Himalayas in the North to the sun-soaked sands of Cape Comorin at India’s southern tip, will encounter—particularly in the rural areas and at sacred centres of pilgrimage wherever Siva, God of both Divine Wisdom and regeneration, is the presiding Deity—the serpent motif sculptured within shrines, impressed on myriads of stone implants in the ground and depicted in art." (A Short Guide to Occult Symbols: Serpent Power, Carl Teichrib, 2005, Kjos Ministries)

Balfour elaborates on this Hindu belief:

"In Hinduism, the Cosmic Serpent—Ananta Sesha—symbolic of timeless eternity, carries the world on his 1000-fold [Cobra] hood…As the creative impulse stirs within the great Serpent in the Sky—when passive idea becomes active thought—the forces of attraction and repulsion come into play as ‘spirit’ begins its involution into "matter." (ibid, Teichrib)

Moreover, Kundalini yoga, a discipline within Hinduism, teaches that vast amounts of latent serpent energy lies at the base of the human spine, "like a coiled serpent, ready to spring." (Harper's Dictionary of Hinduism, p. 156, ibid, Teichrib)

Through strenuous yoga techniques, this serpent power uncoils and rises through seven "chakras" or power centers within the human body. The serpent force is considered to be a,

".....concentrated field of intelligent cosmic, invisible energy absolutely vital to life beginning in the base of the spine as a man or a woman begins to evolve in their first incarnation." (The Donning International Encyclopedic Psychic Dictionary, p. 343, ibid, Teichrib)

The ancient occult concept of serpent power symbolized today by the theory of evolution, Darwin's Tree of Life, pre-existent or spontaneously generated matter and multiverse hypothesis has swept the post-Christian West and America, even entering into the whole body of the Church.

The prophet Daniel makes mention of the God of "forces" in connection with the Antichrist. (Dan. 11:38)

Today this 'God' has mesmerized vast numbers of Westerners and Americans, secular and  Christian alike.

As the 'Christ' of the hugely popular "A Course in Miracles" the God of forces states that there is an "irresistible Force" within each person while New Age leader Marianne Williamson explains that this "universal force" can be activated within each person and has the "power to make all things right."   The 'Christ' tells New Age leader Barbara Marx Hubbard that on the day of Planetary Pentecost a Planetary Smile will flash across the faces of all people who have accepted the Luciferian Initiation.  There will be "uncontrollable joy" that the 'Christ' describes as the "joy of Force" that will "ripple" through the one body of humanity.

The God of forces who is the serpent power worshipped by mankind from antiquity, the Ouroboros, the Cosmic Tree and Ultimate Spirit of the universe representing "self-generation and evolution through its own creative power" asks his modern worshippers,

"What if I am not a 'man' at all, but rather a Force, an 'Energy" in the universe, that IS the universe, and that is, in fact, All That Is. What if I am The Collective?" ("God" in Conversations with God: Book 3, p. 125, Neale Donald Walsh, from "False Christ Coming: Does Anybody Care? Warren B. Smith, p. 122)

Tragically, many people today are looking with favor on the God of forces rather than our Savior Jesus Christ:

"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6).

When Lying is Accepted it becomes Required and Society Turns Upside Down

In "Do Blacks and the Left Really Believe This?" Dennis Prager begins by observing that every time you think that the left and its political party have hit moral bottom, they will eventually prove you wrong.

The most recent example occurred last week in Louisiana when the head of the Louisiana Democratic Party, State Senator Karen Carter Peterson, D-New Orleans, stood before her colleagues in the state Senate and announced the reason people oppose Obamacare is because they are racists.  It is President Obama's skin color:

"It isn't about the administration, and it should not be about the administration of the state nor federal level when it comes to Obamacare," she said. "But in fact it is. And why is that? I have talked to so many members in the House and Senate and you know what it comes down to? Are you ready for this? It is not about how many federal dollars we can receive. You ready? You want to know what it's about? It's about race. Now nobody wants to talk about that. It's about the race of this African-American president. ... It comes down to the race of the president of the U.S. which causes people to disconnect and step away from the substance of the bill." (Prager, Townhall.com, June 4, 2013)

Prager wonders why the head of a state Democratic Party -- and a state senator -- would say something that is equally vile and moronic?

There are two possible explanations, and one is worse than the other:

"One is that Peterson doesn't believe what she said; that she said it solely in order to intimidate opponents of Obamacare. When a prominent black accuses anyone -- even if it is most white people in America -- of racism, it usually ends all debate."  (ibid)

But if not that then she really believes what she said:

"And if she really believes that the more than one hundred million Americans who oppose Obamacare -- a CNN poll last week found that 54 percent of Americans oppose Obamacare -- do so because Obama is black, America is in trouble. America is in real trouble if Peterson represents a large majority of black Americans. And we have every reason to believe that she does. She represents a 48-percent black district. And virtually every black leader routinely charges whites with racism." (ibid)

Now either the great majority of American whites are profoundly racist (or homophobic and anti-Muslim) and oppose Obamacare solely because the president is black,  or the great majority of blacks wrongly perceive reality when it comes to their perceptions of whites. In either case said Prager, blacks and whites are living in parallel universes.

One of them is both factually and morally very wrong said Prager and added that the idea that whites only oppose Obamacare because the president is black is one of those terrible lies that shape a society for ill.   Furthermore, it is the non-black left that routinely accuse whites of racism.   In fact, it is mainly white-skinned Leftists such as Paul Krugman of the New York Times, Chris Matthews of MSNBC, former president Jimmy Carter, Frank Rich of New York Magazine, and so many other Leftists who perpetuate the lie of racism (and homophobia, sexism, etc).  And their charge is not only malicious, notes Prager, but is just one more example of the societal destruction wrought by the left.

Americans are thoroughly entangled and increasingly isolated within a massive and still growing web of delusion, false perceptions, propaganda and lies mainly perpetrated by God-hating Leftists who want there to be no Triune God Who created everything seen and unseen ex nihilo as Thomas Nagel, professor of philosophy and law at New York University admits in his book, "The Last Word."

According to Nagel, rage against God has produced poor science (and other pathologies) among unbelieving scientists:

"My guess is that this cosmic authority problem is not a rare condition and that it is responsible for much of the scientism and reductionism of our time.  One of the tendencies it supports is the ludicrous overuse of evolutionary biology to explain everything about life, including everything about the human mind." (The Rage Against God: How Atheism Led Me to Faith, Peter Hitchens, pp. 149-150)

Thus evolutionary thinking and Darwin's theory in particular---which proposes that everything emerged (evolved)  out of self-generated matter----is the central and radical lie ".. in the whole web of falsehood that now governs our lives..."  said C.S. Lewis.  (Letter to Bernard Acworth, Spt. 13, 1951)

"I suppose the reason we leaped at the origin of species was because the idea of God interfered with our sexual mores," confessed Sir Julian Huxley, former president of UNESCO and grandson of Darwin's colleague Thomas Huxley. (Henry M. Morris, The Troubled Waters of Evolution, Creation-Life Publishers, 1974, p. 58)

In his masterpiece, "Ideas Have Consequences," early intellectual conservative Richard Weaver traced the first threads of today's matrix of lies to the late 14th century when Western man made an "evil decision" to abandon his belief in transcendent, unchanging "universals" and thus the position that "there is a source of truth higher than, and independent of man..." The consequences of this revolution were catastrophic:

"The denial of everything transcending experience means inevitably...the denial of truth. With the denial of objective truth there is no escape from the relativism of 'man is the measure of all things." (The Conservative Intellectual Movement in America, George H. Nash, pp. 30-33)

As lies, corruption, false perceptions and self-delusion rapidly spread and deepened, the web expanded and the downward spiral continued:

The living, supernatural God was conceptually murdered, heaven shut-down and nature (matter) and the physical world of the senses elevated to the supreme reality. The doctrine of original sin was abandoned and replaced by the 'goodness of man' and the Genesis account of creation ex nihilo dehistoricized and replaced with evolutionary cosmogonies claiming spontaneous generation and vast ages of time.  As supernatural Christianity declined, rationalism and then Protestant Liberalism (pantheism) arose and reductionist evolutionary science became the most prestigious way to study man. With knowledge limited to the sensory realm, Jesus Christ the Word Incarnate was reduced to an immanent mystical evolutionary force or Christ consciousness within nature while man's spiritual attributes — soul/spirit (mind, conscience and will) — were soon lost in an endless cycle of reductionism and determinism. Man, created in the spiritual likeness of his supernatural Creator would be lost. In his place would stand the soulless hominid, an accidental emergent product of spontaneously-generated mystical matter and evolutionary forces:

"Marxist philosophical materialism remains beyond all doubt that at some time or other in the remote past, life must have arisen from non-living matter." (Outline of Dialectical Materialism, 1948, p. 494)

Spontaneously generated dead matter not only thinks but is divine:

"...matter itself continually attains to higher perfection under its own power, thanks to indwelling dialectic...the dialectical materialists attribution of 'dialectic' to matter confers on it, not mental attributes only, but even divine ones." (Dialectical Materialism, Gustav A. Wetter, 1977, p. 58)

In "Socialism and Religious Beliefs," Enrico Ferri (1856-1926), a prominent socialist of his day and editor of Avanti, a socialist daily, confesses that Darwinism is fundamental to socialism and further reveals that forces or energies of nature substitute for miracles and divinity:

"....modern positive science...has substituted the conception of natural causality for the conception of miracles and divinity....I add that not only is Darwinism not contrary to socialism, but that it forms one of its fundamental scientific premises. As Virchow justly remarked, socialism is nothing else than the logical and vital outcome partly of Darwinism and partly of Spencerian evolution." (marxists.org)

Darwinism has destroyed the foundations of supernatural Christian theism, immutable truth, moral law, man's soul/spirit, the two created sexes, and sexual ethics:

"Darwinism came at the desired time; Darwin's theory that man is the descendant of a lower animal destroyed the entire foundation of Christian dogma."   (Anton Pannekoek, "Marxism and Darwinism," translated by Nathan Weiser. Transcribed for the Internet by Jon Muller, Chicago, Charles H. Kerr & Company Co-operative Copyright, 1912 by Charles H. Kerr & Company)

For many long years, thoughtful, concerned people have been pointing out the connections between Darwin's evolutionary theory and the spreading epidemic of hard-edged egoism, pathological lying, narcissism, moral insanity, hatred, despair, paranoia, disordered thinking, dark fantasies, psychosis and other spiritual pathologies together with the murder of 150,000,000 men, women, and children by God-hating Communists and Fascists, the breakup of the family, the abortion of 60,000,000+ unborn here in America, the perversion of children, rampant hedonism and sodomy, and the relentlessly rising tide of psychiatric drug and porn use, crime, decadence, homicide and suicide in the 'evolutionized' West.

But for the most part, their concerns have been ignored, derided, scoffed at and mercilessly ridiculed by the ignorant, gullible, scientism idolaters,  and fools who hate truth.  This is also the case within the whole body of the church wherein evolutionary scientism is supplanting the Genesis account of creation ex nihilo.  So completely has the evolutionary transformation been that it has successfully inverted the order of creation and reversed the direction of Biblical theism.  With creation ex nihilo virtually replaced by evolution, it is now believed that men have not fallen from perfection but instead are gradually evolving upward from their ape beginnings toward greater and greater spiritual perfection.

As a result, moral duty has turned upside down because "lying is accepted instead of condemned," said J. Budziszewski, a professor of government and philosophy at the University of Texas. (What We Can't Not Know, Budziszewski, p. 197)

The moment lying is accepted it has to be required because it is the means to an end, the way to win, to have what we want, to preserve our inflated conception of 'self,' to dominate and control others, and to shift personal guilt away from 'self' and onto 'other'.   Thus refusal to lie for the cause---whatever that may be---- makes you guilty of betrayal, of being a spoil-sport, of being unscientific, backward, insane, and hateful.

For our generation of liars there is no heaven above nor hell below.  There is only sovereign 'self' who knows only personal selfishness, ambition, physical lust and hate.  Being immeasurably proud (narcissistic), 'self' detests moral absolutes, authority, obedience, accountability, direction, rules, restraints, and truth since narcissistic 'self'  already knows everything worth knowing.

A nation of liars.  This is where we are and what we are becoming.  The problem is not just in Obama, Leftists, 'gay' radicals, and abortionists but in our churches and in ourselves. If only there were evil liars somewhere,

"... insidiously committing evil deeds, and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart?”   Alexander Solzhenitsyn

The source and taproot of all lying in whatever form is pride (preference for 'self' over God and others).  Pride is the beginning of all sin and the,

"...beginning of the pride of man is to fall away from God." ("On Nature and Grace", St. Augustine, from Ancient Christian Devotional, Thomas Oden, p. 73)

As confession is good for the soul, Budziszewski wonders if we might finally repent of our lies.  Will we at last,

"...yield ourselves to Truth, to be scraped, scoured and made honest until we can give back His light?"

If not, then the Christian Church and our nation, individually and corporately, will continue to reap the consequences of the lies we have been sowing.

You can be as God: Invitation of the Emerging Cosmic Christ

In the “The Christ of the New Age Movement," Ron Rhodes notes that apostate New Age theologian David Spangler defines Christ as a cosmic principle:

"Any old Christ will not do, not if we need to show that we have something better than the mainstream Christian traditions. It must be a cosmic Christ, a universal Christ, a New Age Christ." The Christ is not so much a religious figure, "but rather a cosmic principle, a spiritual presence whose quality infuses and appears in various ways in all the religions and philosophies that uplift humanity and seek unity with spirit." (Ron Rhodes, “The Christ of the New Age Movement: Part One in a Two-Part Series on New Age Christology," cited in "A Quantum Cosmic Christ," Herescope Blogspot, June 2012)

The cosmic Christ is a rephrasing of Teilhard's Omega and is as well the divine One Substance of Leonard Sweet's quantum spirituality:

"Quantum spirituality bonds us to all creation as well as to other members of the human family…. This entails a radical doctrine of embodiment of God in the very substance of creation…. But a spirituality that is not in some way entheistic (whether pan- or trans-), that does not extend to the spirit-matter of the cosmos, is not Christian." (ibid, Leonard Sweet, Quantum Spirituality: A Postmodern Apologetic ")

By any name, Postmodern Christianity, Quantum Spirituality or Teilhard's New Religion, it is a synthesis of heresies whose primary doctrine is evolution and Bishop Fulton J. Sheen was right on target when he pointed to the influence of the infamous heretic Teilhard de Chardin:

"As one looks at the various trends in our day, one sees that Teilhard’s [de Chardin] conception of spirituality is in the forefront. He knew that he had to pass through many hazards, but he was directed principally to the cosmic world. Others have been directed to the human world. This does not mean to say that Teilhard limited himself to anthropology and physics. His fundamental orientation was “to attain heaven through the fulfillment of earth. Christify matter.” (ibid, Bishop Fulton J. Sheen, Footprints In A Darkened Forest, p. 73)

In his book, "Utopia: The Perennial Heresy," the eminent Catholic scholar and philosopher Thomas Molnar explains that evolution, whether Darwinian or a spiritual conception such as Teilhard's idea, serves as an imaginary mechanism of perfection for both man and the One Substance, an eternally existing or self-created substance which may for example, be a Universal Consciousness, Omega Point, or Divine Mind (mystical pantheism) or perhaps a spiritless physical substance (Greek Atomism, scientific materialism, Marx's dialectical matter).  Either way:

"Through evolution the world substance becomes progressively pure, homogenous and perfect until the terminal point is reached..."  (p.235)

At that point, there is either a perfected non-spiritual substance  or a perfectly spiritualized substance, the ultimate goal of Teilhard's alchemical great work.

Whether the substance is physical or spiritualized, all conceptions of the One Substance are expressions of monism.

Monism is held in common by materialism, mystical pantheism, and spiritualism and dates back to pagan antiquity and was or is taught by all non-biblical thought systems from Herme's esoteric magic formula, 'as above, so below,' to Buddhism,  Greek Epicureanism, pre-Christian and Christian era Gnosticism to Quantum Spirituality, Postmodern 'Christianity' and  New Age Cosmic Humanism.

Monism teaches that all things, including mankind, are merely diverse parts of the one-substance.  God is acceptable to this monistic frame of mind only if He is not something outside of and superior to the one-substance but rather immanent or one with it.  In other words, the substance of God must be dispersed throughout the whole substance, and since this divine substance permeates everything, including mankind, it becomes possible to evolve a God out of man.

The powerfully seductive Big Lie, "you can be as God," underlies both mystical pantheist New Age Cosmic Humanism and its' materialist counterpart, Secular Humanism.   This thought is expressed openly in the teachings of Swami Vivekananda , Dr. Beverly Galyean (leading exponent of occult New Age confluent education),  David Spangler and Emergent church leader Leonard Sweet:

"The Buddhists and the Jains do not depend on God; but the whole force of their religion is directed to the great central truth in every religion: to evolve a God out of man."  (Inspired Talks, Ramakrishna Vivekananda Center, 1958, p. 218)

"Once we begin to see that we are all God, that we have the attributes of God, then, I think the whole purpose of human life is to reown the Godlikeness within us...So my whole view is very much based on that idea."   (Galyean quoted by Francis Adeney, Educators Look East, Radix 12, No. 3, Nov-Dec. 1980, p. 21)

"As the energies of the Cosmic Christ become increasingly manifest within the etheric life of Earth, many individuals will begin to respond with the realization that the Christ dwells within them.."  ( “Wonderful Deception, Warren Smith, p. 122, citing David Spangler, The Revelation: Birth of a New Age, p. 177)

"The power of small groups is in their ability to develop the discipline to get people "in-phase" with the Christ consciousness and connected with one another." (Leonard Sweet, cited in "A Quantum Cosmic Christ," Herescope Blogspot, June 2012)

This same idea expressed in secular terms  such as self-realization and self-actualization (a term coined by Abraham Maslow), is a concept that underlies many contemporary psychotherapies.

In carefully couched terms, the  "Humanist Manifesto" (1973) also declares autonomous man's godhood:

"We affirm that moral values derive their source from human experience.  Ethics is autonomous and situational...life has meaning because we create and develop our futures."

The conclusion of both mystical pantheist Cosmic Spirituality and so-called 'scientific' Secular Humanism is the same: human beings can be as God and invent their own "ten commandments."

Another key point at which Cosmic and Secular Humanism intersect  is evolution.    Secular Humanism adopted the Gnostic myth of biological (Darwinian) evolution as an explanation both for the origin and development of life as well as for the perfecting of the one substance and mankind.  Cosmic Humanism springboards off of Darwinism into imaginary spiritual conceptions such as  Teilhard de Chardins' (1881-1955) idea.   The apostate French Jesuit priest  taught that God emerges from matter.  According to him, this evolution of God from the world results in evolution becoming "conscious of itself" and  ultimately, in the transformation  of all matter into "Christ consciousness" or "pure spirit." He called this final stage the "Omega Point" or "the cosmic Christ."

New Age  techniques to get in touch with the "Christ consciousness" include physical exercises, special diets (especially vegetarianism),  biofeedback, chanting, psychodrama, consciousness-raising strategies, hypnosis and self-hypnosis, centering, body disciplines and therapies such as hatha yoga and aikido as well as sensitivity groups and encounter groups, Zen, Tibetan Buddhism, drumming, mind-numbing rock music, brain-altering substances, and transcendental meditation.

Former guru Rabindranath R. Maharaj, now a committed follower of Jesus Christ, describes his former transcendental meditation ritual and its' terrifying outcome:

"Nothing was more important than our daily transcendental meditation, the heart of Yoga, which Krishna advocated as the surest way to eternal Bliss.  But it could also be dangerous.  Frightening psychic experiences awaited the...meditator, similar to a bad trip on drugs.  Demons described in the Vedas had been known to take possession of some Yogis.  Kundalini power, said to be coiled like a serpent at the base of the spine, could produce ecstatic experiences when released in deep meditation — or...it could do great mental and bodily harm.  The line between ecstasy and horror was very fine...During daily meditation I began to have visions of psychedelic colors, to hear  unearthly music, and to visit exotic planets where the gods conversed with me, encouraging me to attain even higher states of consciousness.   Sometimes in my trance I encountered the same horrible demonic creatures...depicted by the images in Hindu, Buddhist, Shinto, and other religious temples.  It was a frightful experience, but the Brahmacharya explained that it was normal and urged me to pursue the quest for Self Realization.   At times I experienced a sense of mystical unity with the universe.  I was the universe, Lord of all, omnipotent, omnipresent.  My instructors were excited at this.  I was obviously a chosen vessel, destined for early success in the search for union with Brahman.  The Forces that had guided my father were now guiding me."  (Death of a Guru, Rabindranath R. Maharaj, pp. 56-57)

In 2008, Herescope explained the views of Teilhard de Chardin, father of the modern New Age movement:

"Teilhard de Chardin's "Principle of Emergence" had to do with the consciousness of mankind breaking out collectively, creating an evolutionary convergence (a Noosphere built by spiritual formation) that would result in a "super-organism" of "collective mankind " (quotes from The Phenomenon of Man and The Future of Man). The term "emergent" itself is steeped in Teilhardian evolutionary ideology, and the modern New Age movement has popularized it to mean the manifestation of new examples of humanity's evolution towards this supposed collective consciousness."

"Teilhard also proposed an alternative eschatology, an '"eschatological' vision" in which "in order that the Kingdom of God may come..., it is necessary, as an essential physical condition, that the human Earth should already have attained the natural completion of its evolutionary growth... that the ultra-human perfection which neo-humanism envisages for Evolution will coincide in concrete terms with the crowning of the Incarnation awaited by all Christians" (The Future of Man, p. 280, which achieves "God all in everyone" The Phenomenon of Man, p. 310, italics in original)."

Over a period of decades, Teilhard's mystical pantheist theology has been incrementally incorporated into both the Roman Catholic and evangelical church.  The seeds planted by Teilhard took root in many apostate Christian theologians including Emergent church leader Leonard Sweet, were nurtured along by the Leadership Network, and have now come full bloom in the open:

"...Quantum Mystisicm ....is creating a Quantum Eschatology to deceive the church in these last days." (Herescope)

Herescope also reports that Sweet is associated with an organization called Second Billion,:

"...a downline networking global church growth group with an online Global Church Learning Center www.GCLC.tv where he is on the faculty. This group gives him a global outreach to train pastors in his Quantum Spirituality views. For example, in June 2008 He spoke at a Second Billion conference in Jarkarta, Indonesia to evangelical mission leaders."

On February 29, 2012,

"...the Second Billion organization issued “A Special Message From Dr. Ken Blanchard” e-mail. The e-mail included a 2-minute video to hear Blanchard's “heart and vision” in promoting a “World Leaders Conference.” Conference Speakers included: Tony Blair, Erwin McManus, Bill Hybels, Laurie Beth Jones, Henry Cloud, Craig Groeschel, and others. (See “What Is the World Leaders Conference?”FAQS and list of sponsors.)
Second Billion has the goal to “double the size of the global church.” Leadership Network’s megastar Leonard Sweet has played a key leadership role, especially at its Synergize! conferences. Second Billion is also connected with the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) at many levels, including shared personnel such as Sunday Adelaja and Jim Garlow.  An e-mail sent out 7/13/07 promoted the Dominionist ideal, “Be equipped to impact ‘seven spheres’ of society.” Sweet also co-authored Jesus Manifesto with Frank Viola, who has ties to the NAR.[li] Sweet has even published his own Bible version – The Voice Bible: Step Into the Story of Scripture –  where he employs narratives and poetry to tell Bible stories."

In one form or another, mystical pantheism is sweeping our nation.    In his book, "America's Schools: The Battleground for Freedom," Allen Quist warns that it is being taught in our schools:

"New Age religion is now aggressively being taught in our nation's public schools."  A model curriculum has been developed that "is clearly centered on pantheism."  "Much of what passes for environmental education and multiculturalism is really indoctrination in pantheistic/New Age theology.  The ACLU and other similar organizations have no objections to (pantheistic indoctrination).  It is only Christianity that these organizations object to."  (p. 51)

Pastor Larry DeBruyn  summed up the powerfully seductive quantum cosmic deception in his book Unshackled: Breaking Away from Seductive Spirituality:

"Emergent Christians like Leonard Sweet, who allow their worldview to be influenced by such spirituality, are being taken captive by philosophy and vain deceit.  The 'elements of the world' first enrapture and then capture their souls.  Like Judah who played the harlot with other gods, their fixation upon science seduces them into spiritual bondage. Captivation with the cosmos leads to being captured by the cosmos, the very “system” which Scripture informs us, “lies in the power of the evil one” (1 John 5:19)." (Herescope)

In 1901, Herman Bavinck, a Christian theologian foresaw the raging spiritual warfare of our own time.  Temporally, it is being fought between the defenders of supernatural Christian theism and the Genesis account of creation ex nihilo and the promoters of ancient mystical pantheism, evolution and the Big Lie----all who are of one mind with the devil, the father of heresy and monism:

"Unless we are mistaken...the twentieth century...is to witness a gigantic conflict of spirits...More serious and fiercer than ever before, the conflict is between the old and the new worldview."
