Using the former Soviet Union as an example, early conservative intellectual Frank Meyers describes Communism as,
"The state form taken by a materialist faith determined to rule the world." Communism is "the final synthesis of all heretical tendencies that have pervaded Western civilization for many centuries." (The Conservative Intellectual Movement, pp. 251-252)
Communism is a secular, philosophically materialist form of heretical Protestant (pantheist) liberalism's inverted exegesis grounded in a chiliastic-evolutionary proclamation of a coming new order grounded in belief in the inevitability of evolutionary progress (from molecule to sea-weed, reptile, ape, hominid, man and then finally god-man) and in the perfectibility of this fallen world.
Chiliasm in Greek means "thousand years" and is primarily a God-less version of the millennial belief expressed in some Christian denominations, and literature, that there will be a Golden Age or Paradise on Earth where "Christ will reign" prior to the final judgment and future eternal state, primarily derived from the book of Revelation 20:1-6.
Communism, like its' contemporary Technocratic and occult New Age counterpart, is the evolutionary chiliastic expression of a coming Golden Age and is,
"...the culminating hubris of Promethean man who reaches out for the world and means to remake creation. It is scientism gone political." (ibid)
In "Science, Politics and Gnosticism," highly-respected political philosopher Eric Voegelin (1901-85) identifies modern Gnostic movements running the gamut from Comte's positivism, progressivism, Hegelianism, Masonry, Marxist Communism and Nazi Socialism to Schleiermacher's doctrine of faith, modernism (Protestant liberalism), and Luciferian theosophy.
Helena Blavatsky, the founder of Theosophy, leading Masonic thinker and important formulator of chiliastic evolution, wrote in her book, "The Secret Doctrine, " volume II,
"....it is but natural...to view Satan, the Serpent of Genesis, as the real creator and benefactor, the Father of Spiritual mankind. For it is he who was the 'Harbinger of Light,' bright radiant Lucifer, who opened the eyes of the automaton created by Jehovah...and (was) the first to whisper: "in the day ye eat thereof ye shall be as Elohim, knowing good and evil"---can only be regarded in the light of a Saviour..." (Theosophical University Press, 1888, p. 243, 513)
"And now it stands proven that Satan, or the Red Fiery Dragon, the "Lord of Phosphorus," and Lucifer, or "Light Bearer," is in us: It is our Mind---our tempter and redeemer, our intelligent liberator and Savior from pure animalism. Without this principle...we would be surely no better than animals."
Many other humanist speculators have formulated chiliastic versions of evolutionism that like Blavatsky's posit an inverted exegesis. They include philosophers and lapsed Christian thinkers such as Henri Bergson, Jean Gebser, Alfred North Whitehead and Teilhard de Chardin as well as esotericists and occultists Max Theon, Rudolph Steiner, C.W. Leadbeater, Luciferian theosophist Alice Baily; Hindu teachers Swami Vivekananda and Sri Aurobindo and integral theorists Edward Haskell, Arthur Young and Ken Wilber. (Genesis, Creation, and Early Man, Fr. Seraphim Rose, p. 34)
Chiliastic-evolutionary systems are modern forms of ancient and very "elitist" pre-Christian and Christian-era Gnosticism in which salvation is attained through the 'elitist' knowledge of Gnostic teachers (i.e., contemporary spiritual guides, gurus, certain 'scientists') possessed of the knowledge of the Gnostic cosmogony, or evolutionary anti-creation account and worldview.
Benjamin Wiker observes that the modern Gnostic 'scientific' cosmogony is a secularized, mathematical formula,
"..entirely stripped of the supernatural (and grounded in a secular understanding) of nature, science and philosophy that laid down the presuppositions on which Scripture scholarship came to rest...Little (can be) understood about the rise of modern biblical criticism if close attention is not paid to the great cosmological shift that occurs in the seventeenth century...The two occur as part of one revolution because the shift in the meaning of nature includes human nature as well." ( Politicizing the Bible: The Roots of Historical Criticism and the Secularization of Scripture, 1300-1700, Wiker & Hahn, p. 257)
Systematized chiliastic-evolutionary speculations have so far produced every bloody utopian politico-religious movement of the 20th century and underpin contemporary occult-pantheist New Age and Technocratic globalist hopes and visions of today.
In his article, "Leftism a Radical Faith," Bruce Riggs notes that much of the political history of the extended twentieth century is that of massive extinctions of citizenries by their dictatorial governments:
"Take the engineered mass starvations, torture chambers, firing squads, and gulags of Lenin and Stalin; Nazi gas chambers; Pol Pot's Khmer Rouge killing fields; the genocides of Mao's "Great Leap Forward"; and the tyrannical North Korean Sung dynasty, and one will find that over one hundred million people have been slaughtered." (American Thinker, Jan. 1, 2014)
The Black Book's authors point to the Darwinian "biological and zoological strain of thinking" as the engine of evil that proved itself to be a most effective means of denying the humanity of Communisms millions of victims.
"This strain of thinking," explained Stephane Courtois, "is why so many of the crimes of Communism were crimes against humanity, and how Marxist-Leninist ideology managed to justify these crimes to its followers." (The Black Book of Communism; p. 751)
Mass-murderer Vladimir Lenin concurs:
"Darwin put an end to the belief that the animal and vegetable species bear no relation to oneanother (and) that they were created by God, and hence immutable." (Vladimir Lenin, Fatal Fruit, Tom DeRosa, p. 9)
These reprobate Gnostic-pagan god-State governments systematically dehumanized and murdered millions of men, women, and children in order to create an imagined earthly Eden purified of evil, said Riggs, and this is clearly irrational. In this sense, leftist ideology is an atheist religion with the look of a religious inquisition.
Klaus Fischer puts it this way: "Totalitarianism represents the twentieth-century version of traditional religiosity; it is in many ways the secular equivalent of the religious life. Unless this crucial point is captured, the quintessential nature of totalitarianism will elude us." (ibid)
This "totalitarian religiosity" is grounded in a dehumanizing evolutionary cosmogony that reduces mankind to aspects of the evolving universe on a par with slugs, weeds, and apes. This evil religion continues today as a "scientific" secular, politico-centric faith,
"....disdainful of theistic beliefs and contemptuous of those who subscribe to them. It is a faith that, in its historical manifestations, has birthed the murderous tyrannies of the extended twentieth-century----tyrannies that have marched under left-wing banners of Marxism, Communism, and National Socialism, or, more generally and descriptively, Coercive Collectivism." (ibid, Riggs)
The Coming of Lucifer's New Age Collectivism
Lee Penn calls our attention to the United Religions Initiative that with the Gaia initiative represents the religious facet of the coming Technocratic New World Order. The URI is a UN organization that to a significant extent is animated by New Age Luciferian-spirituality. Penn notes that evolution is absolutely central to New Age theology which is a syncretistic stew of Liberal Christianity, Theosophy, Spiritism, the Ancient Mysteries, Eastern mysticism, Wicca, Goddess worship, and adulation of Lucifer.
The URI has attracted a disparate group of activists and powerful supporters. For example, the Dalai Lama, progressive churchmen from the People's Republic of China, pro-gay Episcopalians, radical Muslims, feminist witches, rich capitalist foundations, the Club of Rome, the Temple of Understanding and the Lucis Trust, formerly called Lucifer Publishing. Prominent supporters of the URI and globalism include occultist Robert Muller (former UN assistant secretary general), Neale Donald Walsh, George Soros, Mikhail Gorbachev, Maurice Strong, Ted Turner, and Barbara Marx Hubbard. (pp.5,7, 23-26)
New Age spirituality relies heavily on the spirit revelations channeled through Helena Blavatsky, Alice Bailey, Muller, Marx Hubbard, and Neale Donald Walsh. Penn notes that all together they form a comprehensive anti-Gospel setting forth a progressive vision of spiritualized totalitarianism that includes:
1. Praise for Lucifer as the light-bearer and giver of wisdom.
2. Proclaiming that we humans are gods and that death is not real
3. Advocacy for extreme population control, including eugenics and euthanasia
4. Utter contempt for traditional religions — with concentrated scorn directed at Judaism, evangelical Protestantism, and Roman Catholicism
5. Forecasting a pending (and for them, desirable) "selection" of mankind, in which the progressives enter the New Age and the reactionaries face extinction. For the New Age Apostles of "progressive" Social Darwinism, these casualties are a necessary price to pay for human evolution." (ibid, p. 7)
Speaking through Hubbard, her spirit guide "Christ" prophesied in 1995 that the Rider of the Pale Horse will use the "sword" as one of his means to "kill those who choose to remain self-centered." (ibid, p. 322)
The meaning of "self-centered" is briefly defined in a document mandated by the U.N.-sponsored Convention on Biological Diversity, the Global Biodiversity Assessment. This document explicitly refers to Christianity as a faith that, rather than making God and humans one with nature, has instead set God and humans "apart from nature," a process in which nature has "lost its sacred qualities." The document states:
"Conversion to Christianity has...meant an abandonment of an affinity with the natural world..." (Al Gore, The United Nations and the Cult of Gaia, Cliff Kincaid, americasurvival.org., 1999)
In other words, because Christianity holds that there is an unbridgeable gulf between God and man and nature that is only breached by Jesus Christ then man does not share the substance of God as pantheism holds, thus god is not within man but apart from man. According to Christianity man is radically different from God and atonement or mediation is achieved only through Christ, who rose from the dead.
By contrast, Luciferian philosophy and the philosophy of Gaia hold that the evolving universe of matter and psychic energy is God, and that by experiencing or even worshipping nature, humans can attain oneness with God. Some followers of Gaia believe that humans, after death, are reincarnated into non-human forms. Cliff Kincaid comments:
"U.S. taxpayers are being forced to subsidize a new form of state religion which holds that natural resources have to be protected for the sake of Gaia, a so-called Earth spirit. This religious movement, which has cult-like qualities, is being promoted by leading figures and organizations such as Vice President Albert Gore, broadcaster Ted Turner, and the United Nations....Those promoting the Gaia concept have no qualms about using the full force of government, even the international resources of the United Nations, to impose their beliefs on the rest of us. If they are successful in their drive for "sustainable development" to protect Gaia, they could stifle economic growth and promote a drastic decline in the American standard of living." (ibid)
All modern Gnostic movements share the same chiliastic goal: a coming "new order" purified of all evil, that is, all faithful Christians and Jews who refuse to become one-with the evolving universe of matter and energy. Purification extends as well to all previous moral standards, sexual ethics and traditions---seen as relative to a particular stage in the ongoing process of evolution. These will be forever changed just as all distinctions between life forms and gender will be blurred in the idea of evolution from molecule to man and woman to androgynous he-she ('gay") and god-man. In the same way, all distinctions between nations and religions will be blurred in the chiliastic vision of this-worldly perfection.
Together with chiliasm, evolution is a,
"...deep-seated primordial force, which seems to capture people quite apart from their conscious attitudes and reasoning (because) it's been drilled into everyone from the cradle, and therefore is very hard to bring out and look at rationally." (Genesis, Creation, and Early Man, Seraphim Rose, p. 35)
Frank Baumer concurs and observes that evolution has,
"....persuaded people to think of everything in nature as the fruit of a gradual growth rather than an original creation." The sweeping acceptance of evolutionary thinking means that it is "now difficult if not impossible for an educated man to conceive of a primitive revelation such as traditional Christianity taught, or even of an original natural religion from which men had declined." This difficulty arises because "in an evolving world, perfection obviously lay, not in the past, but in the future." (Religion and Rise of Skepticism, p. 147)
Evolution is the anti-creation gospel of an unholy spirit, thus is the antithesis of the Genesis account of creation ex nihilo. So powerful is its' hold on millions of modern Western minds that it has successfully inverted the order of creation and reversed the direction of Biblical theism. With creation ex nihilo virtually replaced by evolution, it is now believed that men have not fallen from perfection but instead are gradually evolving upward from their ape beginnings toward greater and greater spiritual perfection.
For all Westerners who are perhaps uncomfortable with, offended by, or are outright hostile toward the personal Holy Triune God and His plan of salvation the devil's gospel provides them a chiliastic plan of salvation and a substitute deity---evolution---the animated force of nature which men believe they can control and direct. Through scientifically controlled and directed evolution, they imagine they are destined to realize unimaginable spiritual advances.
