Politics: Morally Informed versus Amoral, Cunning, Artful, Diabolical

The book of Genesis shows that the Triune God employed the good principle of distinction-making that separates light from the darkness (Gen 1: 3–5),  day from the night (Gen 1:14–19), humans from animals and males from females (Gen 1:26–27), holy from unholy, lie from truth and so on.

In almost seventeen hundred years of existence, first Christendom and then later on Protestant America honored the principle of distinction-making among its’ primary spiritual, moral, religious, political and cultural foundations for living in this God-created universe.

In "Human Survival in the Hands of Super Humans," Dr. Peter Jones, adjunct professor of Westminster Seminary, Escondido, Calif., writes that from this principle,

"...come the notion of human dignity and the Western concept of human rights, stated succinctly in Genesis 1:26–27. Human beings created in the image of God share in the very dignity of God himself. Indeed, a human life is so sacrosanct that taking it indiscriminately cannot be allowed and must be sanctioned by the ultimate penalty (Gen 9:6).  (Truthxchange, Nov. 22, 2013)

We even see God’s principle of distinction-making with respect to politics, law, and government.  In his “American Dictionary of the English Language” (1828) Noah Webster contrasts morally informed politics against amoral or evil politics. Good politics pertain to morally informed policy and civil government that are wise,

“….prudent and sagacious in devising and pursuing measures adapted to promote the public welfare (and) prosperity.”

Amoral politicsare morally relative, cunning and ingenious,

“…in devising and pursuing any scheme of personal or national aggrandizement, without regard to the morality of the measure; cunning; artful; sagacious in adapting means to the end, whether good or evil.”

In James Madison’s essay "Property," published in The National Gazette on March 29, 1792, he clearly defines the meaning of a person’s God-given spiritual property, some of its’ temporal manifestations and the meaning and intent of morally informed politics and just government as opposed to amoral politics and unjust government:

"He has a property....in his religious opinions and in the profession and practice dictated by them in his opinions and the free communication of them… He has an equal property in the free use of his faculties and free choice of the objects on which to employ them… He has property very dear to him in the safety and liberty of his person… " Property is "a man's land, or merchandize, or money... "  "As a man is said to have a right to his property, he may be equally said to have a property in his rights." "Where an excess of power prevails, property of no sort is duly respected. No man is safe in his opinions, his person, his faculties or his possessions."  (Samuel Rutherford, Lex Rex; lexrex.com)

The term 'person' is unique to Christian theism.  It originated in Christian theologies developmental struggle to comprehend the nature and experience of the transcendent, personal Triune God:

"The derivative concept of human personhood is a gift of the Christian faith to culture…” (Stephen P. Stratton, Chapter 14, p. 247, The Self, Paul Vitz & Susan M. Felch, Editors)

With respect to personhood, spiritual property and its temporal manifestations, morally anchored politics and just government are,

…instituted to protect property of every sort....This being the end of government, that alone is a just government, which impartially secures to every man, whatever is his own." (ibid)

America's traditional morally anchored politics and just government together with the Constitution, the law of our land, recognize the divine nature of man's creation, that man is a person endowed by his Creator with spiritual property and a divine right to life, liberty, and the means of acquiring and possessing property. Hence our Constitution is a great spiritual document recognizing that God's spiritual image-bearers and their spiritual and temporal property are the two great,

“… subjects on which Governments are to act; and that the rights of persons, and the rights of property, are the objects, for the protection of which Government was instituted. These rights cannot well be separated." (James Madison, Speech at the Virginia Convention, December 2, 1829)

In our post-Christian age, the amoral politics, broken law and tyrannical government made possible by the dehumanization of Americans through application of scientific neutrality as a general operating assumption. Two applications of modernist thought evidence this: evolution (dehumanizing anti-creation account/relentless change/relativism), an inverted exegesis that deconstructs and reduces man in the spiritual image of the Trinity to evolved ape or bio-machine, and deconstructionism (destructive criticism/critical theory). Along with evolution, deconstructionism is a form of relativism or nihilism that for more than eighty years has been spilling into and contaminating our moral and culture sustaining institutions from seminaries and Biblical scholarship to academia, law, media, arts, and politics, thence our minds, individually and collectively

The triumph of scientific neutrality, Darwinism, and other philosophy's of nihilism over our traditional Biblically anchored worldview have cast American citizens into an upside-down, meaningless, spiritually dead, brutalized culture where the obscenity of our art, music and entertainment are matched by America’s obscene politicians.   Our Godless government is corrupt and tyrannical and its’ amoral politics cunning, artful and even diabolical in pursuit of any scheme of personal or national aggrandizement.

Dehumanized Man

The essence of Darwinism constituting its’ particular nature is naturalism, also known as evolutionary materialism and secular humanism.   Naturalism advocates a phony ‘truth claim’ positing the nonexistence of the supernatural Triune God, the third heaven (supernatural realm), hell, personhood, angels, demons, immutable truth, moral law, meaning, and purpose resulting in a burned over dead zone in which an American is no longer a person but rather the conscious product of evolution, a mere descendant of a lower creature:

Darwinism came at the desired time; Darwin’s theory that man is the descendant of a lower animal destroyed the entire foundation of Christian dogma.” (Anton Pannekoek, ‘Marxism and Darwinism,” translated by Nathan Weiser. Transcribed for the internet by Jon Muller, Charles H. Kerr & Company Co-operative Copyright, 1912 by Charles H. Kerr & Co,)

The authors of the Black Book of Communism connect the dehumanized view of man with catastrophic crimes against humanity:

The biological or zoological strain of thinking enables us to understand better why so many of the crimes of Communism were crimes against humanity and how Marxist-Leninist ideology managed to justify these crimes to its followers.” (The Black Book of Communism, p. 751)

Victor Frankl, a survivor of multiple Nazi concentration camps, also connects the dehumanized view of man with the real-world consequence known as the Holocaust.   In his book, “Can Man Live Without God?” Ravi Zacharias cites Frankl:

If we present man with a concept of man which is not true, we may well corrupt him.  When we present him as an automaton of reflexes, as a mind machine, as a bundle of instincts, as a pawn of drive and reactions, as a mere product of heredity and environment, we feed the nihilism to which modern man is…prone.  I became acquainted with the last stage of corruption in my second concentration camp, Auschwitz.  The gas chambers of Auschwitz were the ultimate consequence of the theory that man is nothing but the product of heredity and environment---or, as the Nazis like to say, ‘of blood and soil.’ I am absolutely convinced that the gas chambers of Auschwitz, Treblinka, and Maidenek were ultimately prepared not in some ministry or other in Berlin, but rather at the desks and in lecture halls of nihilistic scientists and philosophies.” (Can Man Live without God?” p. 25)

Dehumanized Americans

In his essay, "America's Ruling Class -- And the Perils of Revolution," Angelo Codevilla explains that contemporary America is now a two-tiered caste system.  At the bottom are the masses of dehumanized Americans.   At the top are the scientifically-enlightened Darwinians---the amoral left-right Ruling Class who believe they are evolving into gods:

"Its attitude is key to understanding our bipartisan ruling class. Its first tenet is that "we" are the best and brightest while the rest of Americans are retrograde, racist, and dysfunctional unless properly constrained." (Codevilla, The American Spectator, July-Aug. 2010)

How did the amoral politics of destruction grounded in a dehumanized view of man replace the Founding generation's uniquely Christian view that "all men are created equal"?  Codevilla explains:

"The notion of human equality was always a hard sell, because experience teaches us that we are so unequal in so many ways, and because making one's self superior is so tempting that Lincoln called it "the old serpent, you work I'll eat." But human equality made sense to our Founding generation because they believed that all men are made in the image and likeness of God, because they were yearning for equal treatment under British law, or because they had read John Locke."

It did not take long for the Christian view of human personhood to be challenged by self-interest, natural science and Darwinism:

"By the 1820s, as J. C. Calhoun was reading in the best London journals that different breeds of animals and plants produce inferior or superior results, slave owners were citing the Negroes' deficiencies to argue that they should remain slaves indefinitely. Lots of others were reading Ludwig Feuerbach's rendition of Hegelian philosophy, according to which biblical injunctions reflect the fantasies of alienated human beings or, in the young Karl Marx's formulation, that ethical thought is "superstructural" to material reality. By 1853, when Sen. John Pettit of Ohio called "all men are created equal" "a self-evident lie," much of America's educated class had already absorbed the "scientific" notion (which Darwin only popularized) that man is the product of chance mutation and natural selection of the fittest. Accordingly, by nature, superior men subdue inferior ones as they subdue lower beings or try to improve them as they please." As the 19th century ended the educated class... "…were sure that because man is a mere part of evolutionary nature, man could be improved, and that they, the most highly evolved of all, were the improvers."

As their number and sense of self-importance grew, so did their distaste and outright contempt for common Americans:

Believing itself "scientific," this Progressive class sought to explain its differences from its neighbors in "scientific" terms. The most elaborate of these attempts was Theodor Adorno's widely acclaimed The Authoritarian Personality (1948). It invented a set of criteria by which to define personality traits, ranked these traits and their intensity in any given person on what it called the "F scale" (F for fascist), interviewed hundreds of Americans, and concluded that most who were not liberal Democrats were latent fascists. This way of thinking about non-Progressives filtered down to college curricula. In 1963-64 for example, I was assigned Herbert McCloskey's Conservatism and Personality (1958) at Rutgers's Eagleton Institute of Politics as a paradigm of methodological correctness. The author had defined conservatism in terms of answers to certain questions, had defined a number of personality disorders in terms of other questions, and run a survey that proved "scientifically" that conservatives were maladjusted ne'er-do-well ignoramuses."

However, though not one in a thousand of today's bipartisan ruling class,

"...ever heard of Adorno or McCloskey, much less can explain the Feuerbachian-Marxist notion that human judgments are "epiphenomenal" products of spiritual or material alienation, the notion that the common people's words are, like grunts, mere signs of pain, pleasure, and frustration, is now axiomatic among our ruling class. They absorbed it osmotically, second -- or thirdhand, from their education and from companions. Truly, after Barack Obama described his opponents' clinging to "God and guns" as a characteristic of inferior Americans, he justified himself by pointing out he had said "what everybody knows is true." Confident "knowledge" that "some of us, the ones who matter," have grasped truths that the common herd cannot, truths that direct us, truths the grasping of which entitles us to discount what the ruled say and to presume what they mean, made our Progressives into a class long before they took power."

America’s Ruling Class are narcissistic man-gods whose self-serving political agenda is power for itself.  The Darwinian view of man liberates the Ruling Class to not only tax, plunder, punish and redistribute more than a third of what Americans produce but actively promote sin.   Ex-liberal progressive Evan Sayet affirms that America’s Ruling Class and Hollywood and media liberals together with influential liberals situated within the White House, Congress, academia, certain seminaries, Pentagon, and 'justice' institutions actively promote evil.  Thus,

"…..sin is their trade and business, and the constant course of their lives" as is actively persuading children "to join with them in the sins they are addicted unto, and are continually employed in…"  (The Kindergarten of Evil, evansayet.com)

America’s Ruling Class utilize a program of terroristic psychological manipulation, black-mail and physical terrorism wielded by Trotsky, Lenin, Stalin and the Communists after they seized control of Orthodox Christian Russia and put into practice long-term plans to unleash the basest, most corrupt passions within all Russians, especially their children. By way of this evil plan they sought to abolish on a vast scale every vestige of belief in and commitment to the God of Revelation, personhood, the two created sexes, the traditional family, Biblical morality and sexual ethics, private property and other signs of “the capitalist petite Bourgeoisie.”

By way of various brutal forms of thought and behavior modification, perverse sex-education, psychological and physical torment, psychotropic drug experimentation, re-education and sadistic terror tactics, Russians were manipulated and bludgeoned into submission while Communists systematically stole their property, confiscated and sexually perverted their children, desecrated and blasphemed churches, crucified thousands of nuns and priests, and in general, committed monstrous crimes against humanity which took the lives of in excess of 60,000,000 men, women, and children.  For example:

"About 200,000 clergy, many crucified, scalped and otherwise tortured, were killed during the approximately 60 years of communist rule in the former Soviet Union, a Russian commission reported this week. In addition, another 500,000 religious figures were persecuted and 40,000 churches destroyed in the period from 1922 to 1980, the report said. Half the country's mosques and more than half the synagogues were also destroyed “Clergymen were crucified on churches' holy gates, shot, scalped [and] strangled, “said Alexander Yakovlev, head of the Commission for the Rehabilitation of the Victims of Political Repression. The commission prepared the report for Russian President Boris Yeltsin. "I was especially shocked by accounts of priests turned into columns of ice in winter," Yakovlev said. "It was total cruelty."  (Paulbogdanor.com)

Through promotion of sin, amoral politics and 'science', propaganda of the lie, broken law and tyrannical government regulations that reach deep into our minds, lives and pocketbooks, the Ruling Class have made themselves the arbiters of wealth, privilege and what constitutes politically permissible beliefs, speech and behavior and equally what constitutes politically-incorrect beliefs, speech, and behavior necessitating punishment, poverty and death.

Energy expert Arthur Robinson, Ph.D., argues that because Americans have been deprived of their freedom to produce goods and services required to maintain their former standard of living America is no longer able to provide for its own energy needs.  Additionally,

Taxation---both direct and indirect through currency inflation---runaway government regulation and government-sponsored-and-encouraged litigation have reduced the productivity of Americans below that required to maintain their way of life.  This tyranny—this economic slavery---has been produced entirely by the federal and state governments of the United States.  There are no resource limitations, technological limitations, or geopolitical reasons for the current energy shortages and high prices.   These shortages and prices are solely the result of taxation, regulation, and litigation that have stifled American-energy-producing industries.”  (How Evil Works, David Kupelian, pp. 9-10)

Like their evil Communist and Fascist counterparts, America's Ruling Class isthe intellectual heirs of a way of thinking that from,

"... the beginning has been characterized by a desire to be free from the burden of Christianity...As a rebellion against Christianity, its negative goal defined its positive form: the desire to remove the church and replace it with the state gave liberalism its structure, beliefs, and goals."  (Worshipping the State: How Liberalism became Our State Worship, Benjamin Wiker)

Wiker writes that as far back as the Renaissance the strong impulse to throw off the restraints of the personal God and Christianity was already at work in certain Churchmen and intellectuals, hence their eventual embrace of materialism (naturalism):

The desire to be liberated from the constraints of Christianity was the original reason for modern liberalism’s embrace of a world defined entirely by materialism—the view that there are no immaterial entities like God of the soul, but only physical entities. This embrace of materialism began as far back as the Renaissance. And the same impulse was behind the nineteenth-century enthusiasm for scientific materialism, and it remains a staple of liberalism today."  (ibid, Benjamin Wiker)

The Leviathan

An evil leviathan has seized control of America, and for conservatives to seriously contend against it on behalf of personhood and self-governance, the political party that represents it will have to discredit not only Darwinism and amoral 'science' but,

"...patent frauds (such) as ethanol mandates, the pretense that taxes can control "climate change," and the outrage of banning God from public life. More important, such a serious party would have to attack the ruling class's fundamental claims to its superior intellect and morality in ways that dispirit the target and hearten one's own." (ibid, Codevilla)

This will require repentance, a clean conscience and courage of conviction grounded in an unflinching love of our Lord and a willingness to suffer the hate, ridicule, spite, malice,  rejection and death threats that will come upon us like acid rain.

It is said that courage is the first of the virtues because without it fear will paralyze man, thus keeping him from acting upon his moral convictions and speaking truth. Thus bringing about a general state of paralyzing fear, apathy, despair, and submission—the chains of tyranny—is the purpose behind the evil leviathan's relentless psychological manipulation and terrorism, for their evil agenda must, at all costs, be clothed in darkness.

The antidote is repentance, a clean conscience, courage and the light of truth. If we are to effectively engage this spiritual war and reclaim and rebuild America so our children and their children’s children can live in a morally ordered society where truth, trust, goodness, liberty, families, opportunity, free markets, and decency flourish, we must employ God’s good principle of distinction-making to demoralize the leviathan and expose its' lies, deceptions, false teachings, broken law, politically correct pseudo-morality, Darwinism and false science to the Light of Truth. Truth and the courage to speak it will set us free from cunning, diabolical politics, propaganda of the lie, broken law and unjust, tyrannical government.
