While faithful Americans still pray to the Triune God of Revelation Who created all men in His spiritual image, Americas' left/right evolutionary ruling class elites pray:
"...to themselves as saviors of the planet and as shapers of mankind in their own image," observes Angelo M. Codevilla in his insightful essay, "The Ruling Class: How They Corrupted America and What We Can Do About It." (p. xix)
As genetically and intellectually superior elites, the sodomy-favoring Ruling Class naturally think un-evolved (genetically/intellectually inferior) middle class hominids are completely unfit to run their own lives. Calling our attention to the amorality, self-righteous hypocrisy and ruthlessness of the Ruling Class, Codevilla notes that since any:
"standard of right and wrong (is) beyond the Ruling Class'....self-conception, its greatest concern has been to denigrate the American people's devotion to God, because the Ruling Class accepts no standard it cannot control." (ibid, p. xx)
To preserve its' delusional self-conception as evolved gods, the Ruling Class stealthily replaced the Triune God and creation ex nihilo with Darwinism, the Bible with scientism, faithful priests with pseudo-priests of science and evolution and the First Commandment with "Thou shall worship no other gods but the Ruling Class."
In this light we can see why:
1. "Homofascism is the order of the day and Christian 'intolerance' simply will not be tolerated (and this is why) CEO and co-founder of Mozilla Brendan Eich is forced to resign because of his $1,000 donation to Prop 8 six years ago." Christians, buckle up, "Your whole world is about to change. The Rainbowshirts are emboldened and they’ve broken out the long knives." They smell blood in the water, "I’ve often said that these folks want those who speak Biblical truth about human sexuality and legitimate marriage either 1) dead, 2) imprisoned or, if they can have neither of these, 3) marginalized to the point where they can’t even support their families." Freedom is hanging on by a thread, America, "and it is those who worship the sin of Sodom that are determined to finish it off once and for all." (Why Are They Called ‘Homofascists’? Here’s Why… " J. Matt Barber, April 5, 2014, American Prophet)

As Codevilla reveals, the obnoxious Ruling Class consists of both left-wingers and right-wingers, meaning the corporatist GOP Wall Street Republicans who for many years have in effect been telling pro-lifers, family-values activists and all other Americans who hold to traditional Judeo-Christian ethics that though we need you to vote for us, there is only,
"... a tiny corner reserved for (you) where (you’re) expected to sit quietly with (your) hands folded in (your) laps, until it’s time to come out and work (your) tails off for whichever clueless candidate – Ford, George H.W. Bush, Dole, McCain – they choose as the GOP standard-bearer." (GOP Elites' Problem with Santorum, Don Feder, Grasstops USA.com, 2/27/2012)
Though they need the vote of the despised 'moral majority,' Feder writes that the,
"GOP/fiscal-conservative elite only has withering contempt for you. Isn’t that comforting?" (ibid)
Though some may be heard speaking of God or Christ and even be seen holding a Bible, at bottom the GOP 'elite' are nihilists who share a common heritage with progressive socialist nihilists. Both are the intellectual heirs of a rebellion against the God of Revelation and Christian theism that began during the Renaissance.
This is why GOP candidates are allowed occasionally to express pro-morality views---but only as throwaway lines---at least during the primary season said Feder. What infuriates the Republican elite is when someone like Santorum says them with conviction.
For many long years the God of Revelation and pro-moral and pro-traditional family views were just showcasing, that is, part of the now happily-defunct winning formula. But now that the sovereign will of the Ruling Class is finally gaining the upper hand, it's time to jump on the band-wagon of polymorphous perversion since sin---lying, disorder, lawlessness, death, debauchery, sodomy, and other perversions----are the keys to power, dominance, wealth, status, and position.
Whereas many early conservative intellectuals came from backgrounds of Darwinism, rationalism, liberalism, progressivism, atheism and communism and were profoundly aware of the evil nature of these thought systems, and further, that they represent a loss of faith (apostasy into nihilism) undergirded by hatred of the God of Revelation, neither the arrogant GOP elite and their followers do.
For example, in the “Letter to My Children” which opens the book “Witness,” Whittaker Chambers argued that the crisis of the twentieth century, of which Communism was both catalyst and pathological symptom, was a crisis of faith.
Communism, said Chambers, is fundamentally a religion, “man’s second oldest faith,” man’s “great alternative faith.” It’s promise was “Ye shall be as gods.” Its vision was “the vision of man without God,” of “man’s mind displacing God as the creative intelligence of the world,” of “man’s liberated mind, by the sole force of its rational intelligence, redirecting man’s destiny…” Communism starkly proclaims one inescapable choice: “God or Man, Soul or Mind, Freedom or Communism.” (The Conservative Intellectual Movement in America, p. 92, George H. Nash)
To Chambers and other early intellectual conservatives, the crisis of Western and American civilization,
“....exists to the degree in which it is indifferent to God.” (ibid)
The logic of their analysis led early intellectual Conservatives to another crucial point. If Communism is an expression of war between orthodox Christianity and atheism, between the true God of Revelation and sovereign man, between creation ex nihilo and evolution, another form of the enemy is Protestant (pantheist) liberalism. As Eric Voegelin put it in 1952:
“…if liberalism is understood as the immanent salvation of man and society, communism is certainly its most radical expression.” (ibid, p. 93)
Ex-atheist Alexander Solzhenitsyn has much to tell us about "man's second oldest faith" and its' evil nature. Like early conservative intellectuals, Solzhenitsyn initially embraced the revolution against the God of Revelation and them, eventually repented of it.
Citing the 19th century's great apocalyptic prophet Dostoevsky, Solzhenitsyn observed that it was Dostoevsky who connected the dots between the French Revolution and both its' hatred of the Christian Church and the Catholic Church in particular, along with the rotten fruit of that hate---communism---and the lesson that, "revolution must necessarily begin with atheism." That is absolutely true, said Solzhenitsyn:
" ....the world had never before known a godlessness as organized, militarized, and tenaciously malevolent as that practiced by Marxism. Within the philosophical system of Marx and Lenin, and at the heart of their psychology, hatred of God is the principal driving force, more fundamental than all their political and economic pretensions. Militant atheism is not merely incidental or marginal to Communist policy; it is not a side effect, but the central pivot.”
Most of what contemporary Russia has to tell us about that man-made hell on earth can be seen in Solzhenitsyn who warns the West and America that once the God of Revelation has been removed from men's lives it means the logical end of modern Western and American history. In other words, hatred of God is merely a Russian experiment but rather the end of all peoples who remove Him from the center of life.
Hatred of God said Solzhenitsyn, is based on the evil in man's nature, and violence and Gulag are the natural expressions of this evil. Gulag (i.e., indoctrination, repression, political correctness, speech codes, hate crime laws, detention camps, torture, slavery, genocide) is an essential part of atheist society as it reveals the evil of man's nature and the folly of the modern humanist dream of an earthly paradise.
Though a fiery crucible of suffering, Gulag (hell on earth) can also be a place of redemption, a starting place for man's spiritual rebirth as Solzhenitsyn describes in Part II of The Gulag Archipelago:
"It has granted me to carry away from my prison years on my bent back, which nearly broke beneath its load, this essential experience: how a human being becomes evil and how good. In the intoxication of my youthful successes I had felt myself to be infallible, and I was therefore cruel. In the surfeit of power I was a murderer, and an oppressor. In my most evil moments I was convinced that I was doing good, and I was well supplied with systematic arguments. And it was only wen I lay there on rotting prison straw that I sensed within myself the first strivings of good."
"Gradually it was disclosed to me that the line separating good and evil passes not through states, nor between classes, nor between political parties either—but right through every human heart—and then all human hearts… And even within hearts overwhelmed by evil, one small bridgehead of good is retained. And even in the best of all hearts there remains.....an uprooted small corner of evil."
Gradually Solzhenitsyn came to see that as suffering is the starting point of spiritual growth and redemption, it is a blessing in disguise:
“Bless you prison, bless you for being in my life. For there, lying upon the rotting prison straw, I came to realize that the object of life is not prosperity as we are made to believe, but the maturity of the human soul.” "Your soul, which formerly was dry, now ripens with suffering. And even if you haven't come to love your neighbors in the Christian sense, you are at least learning to love those close to you." The Gulag Archipelago, 1918-1956
Suffering is the reality of the human condition and for those who do not fall into bitterness, resentment and hatred of God, His created order, and other people on account of it, suffering is the beginning of true spiritual life. Jesus Christ suffered on the Cross for the sins of all men, and the suffering in Russia enabled those who underwent it to see this as profoundly as Solzhenitsyn.
But what of the West and particularly America? There is no strong Christian revival but rather the reverse, as Solzhenitsyn perceptively noted many years ago. As the evolutionary atheist way of thinking cast its' net over and across the West and America, most of the Christian church has either already fallen away or is in process of 'emerging' away from the truths of Christianity, “the most complete and perfect revelation we know of the nature of God and of God’s will for man....” (John Hallowell, The Conservative Intellectual Movement in America, p. 53, George H. Nash)
Hallowell’s affirmation of Christianity was the unifying thesis of his interpretation of modern evolutionary atheist philosophy:
“…the basic insights of the Christian faith provide the best insights we have into the nature of man and of the crisis in which we find ourselves. That crisis is the culmination of modern man’s progressive attempt to deny the existence of a transcendent…spiritual reality and of his progressive failure to find meaning and salvation in some wholly immanent conception of reality…Only through a return to faith in God, as God revealed Himself to man in Jesus Christ, can modern man and his society find redemption from the tyranny of evil.” (ibid)
But as the Christian Church lost its' convictions and became a comic book version of its former self, the fall of American and Western society into unbelief (nihilism) and amorality led to loss of civil courage,
“.... as a whole and separately, in each country, each government, each political party and of course in the United Nations. Such a decline in courage is particularly noticeable among the ruling groups and the intellectual elite, causing an impression of loss of courage by the entire society.....Should one point out that from ancient times decline in courage has been considered the beginning of the end?” (Solzhenitsyn)
What happened in Russia is coming to fruition here in the West and America. This means that as a consequence of the universal anti-God, anti-Revelation, anti-creation ex nihilo, anti-immutable truth, anti-moral law phenomenon of state atheism, America and the West are entering into a fiery crucible of suffering.
This is the message Solzhenitsyn presented in his American addresses, such as the Harvard commencement in 1978, where he castigated America for its loss of will, loss of truth, loss of morality as well as its' love of lies, pleasure, hedonism and materialism together with its satisfaction with legalism in human relations:
"Is it possible or impossible to transmit the experience of those who have suffered to those who have yet to suffer? Can one part of humanity learn from the bitter experience of another or can it not? Is it possible or impossible to warn someone of danger?… The proud skyscrapers stand on, point to the sky and say: it will never happen here. This will never come to us. It's not possible here… Humanity acts in such a way is if it didn't understand what Communism is, and doesn't want to understand, is not capable of understanding… The essence of Communism is quite beyond the limits of human understanding. Its hard to believe that people could actually plan such things and carry them out…"
"Communism has infected the whole world with the belief in the relativity of good and evil… Among enlightened people it is considered rather awkward to use seriously such words as 'good' and 'evil.' Communism has managed to instill in all of us that these concepts are old-fashioned concepts and laughable. But if we are to be deprived of the concepts of good and evil, what will be left? Nothing but the manipulation of one another. We will decline to the status of animals."
As subjectivism advances over the West and America, destructive and irresponsible freedom is granted boundless space, and even defined as Constitutional rights and afforded legal protection. Thus Western and American society said Solzhenitsyn,
".... appears to have little defense against the abyss of human decadence, such as, for example, misuse of liberty for moral violence against young people, motion pictures full of pornography, crime and horror. It is considered to be part of freedom and theoretically counter-balanced by the young people's right not to look or not to accept. Life organized legalistically has thus shown its inability to defend itself against the corrosion of evil.”
Throughout Western society and especially here in America suffering is anathema. It is to be avoided at all costs. Avenues of escape are legion, from scapegoating hated 'other' to endless parties, mind-altering drugs, orgies, pornography, transformational festivals, abortion, euthanasia, easy divorce, shacking up, decadence festivals, 'gay' pride parades, meditation techniques, trance-inducing music, electronic gadgets, role-playing, 'gay' marriage, games and vast entertainment parks:
"We are the products of Disneyland and a society of fakery and plastic everything—including plastic Christianity and plastic Orthodoxy. Let us be humble enough to recognize it. (I am not saying, by the way, that one should be forbidden to go to Disneyland or should be constantly scowling—I am only saying that we should be aware of our crippled state and the depth of the true Christianity of suffering.)" (The Orthodox Revival in Russia, Fr. Seraphim Rose, a talk given on Sept. 1, 1980, at the University of Calif., Santa Cruz)
Solzhenitsyn warned the West and America to wake up and learn from those who have suffered. Return to traditional Christian and moral roots, and with conviction and courage stand firmly in the spiritual war of good against evil, said Solzhenitsyn. And do not pursue what is illusory:
“....property and position: all that is gained at the expense of your nerves decade after decade and can be confiscated in one fell night. Live with a steady superiority over life - don't be afraid of misfortune, and do not yearn after happiness; it is after all, all the same: the bitter doesn't last forever, and the sweet never fills the cup to overflowing. ” Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn
