Evolutionary Christianity's False Gospel

A common thread running through evolutionary atheism and evolutionary theism is denial of the writings of Moses (i.e., Genesis account ex nihilo), hence rejection of the teaching of Jesus Christ.

The Genesis account is rejected in favor of an evolutionary cosmogony; sin is replaced by the goodness of man, God's Law is no longer ‘right from wrong’ but moral relativism, meaning whatever we decide.  The following quote from atheist Richard Bozarth from the February 1978 issue of American Atheist makes clear the devastating consequences to the faith once given when the Genesis account is denied:.

"It becomes clear now that the whole justification of Jesus’ life and death is predicated on the existence of Adam and the forbidden fruit he and Eve ate. Without the original sin, who needs to be redeemed? Without Adam’s fall into a life of constant sin terminated by death, what purpose is there to Christianity? None. What all this means is that Christianity cannot lose the Genesis account of creation … Christianity is fighting for it’s very life."

The rejection of Moses writings by Christian theists is a continuation of Christendom's and America's apostasy that began during the 17th century when certain Christian ministers and leaders at the top of Church and society abandoned the triune God and Genesis account in favor of a wholly pagan understanding of God, the universe, man, morality, and society.   By the Renaissance, the apostasy encompassed certain highly placed theologians and intellectuals who had discovered ancient occult science and Mystery Religion texts of the first centuries A.D. Through their power and influence these texts quickly acquired an unparalleled prestige as equals to the Revealed Word of God.

Apostates began calling themselves progressives and their apostasy into occult science and the Mysteries finally erupted into view during the 18th and 19th century’s, particularly their penchant for evolutionary philosophy, which was included in the instructions given to ancient Mystery Religion initiates,

"... of the Hermetic, Orphic, Eleusinian, and Cabbalistic mysteries, and were familiar to Chaldean Magi, Egyptian Priests, Hindu Occultists, Essenes, Therapeutae Gnostics, and Theurgic Neo-Platonists." (“Earths Earliest Ages,” G.H. Pember, pp. 243-244)

No longer veiled in mystery, the spirit of the world presented ancient occult texts as the fruit of scientific progress validated by Darwin's supposedly scientifically demonstrable idea that the universe was not created ex nihilo by the divine will of the Biblical God but by evolution, a divine energy Darwin called natural selection.  Having produced human consciousness, today evolution is being brought directly under the control of its own product, mankind.

After so great an attack on the Word of God and bereft of assurances of eternal immortality, by the later 18th and early 19th centuries masses of hopeless Christians were begging for a scientifically demonstrable gospel.

Now in the 21st century, vast numbers of seculars and Christians follow after the false ‘science’ gospel which claims that evolutionary science has proven the earth and cosmos to be billions of years old, and every living thing, from seaweed to fish, tumble bugs, apes, and humans evolved from a single cell which itself is the result of chance combination of chemicals acted on over time by evolutionary processes. Most believe that primordial matter resulted from the Big Bang. Certain high profile Christian ministers like Pope Francis, Leonard Sweet, and Tim Keller teach that God is the energizing force behind the Big Bang and the director of evolutionary processes.

The Genesis of Modern Evolutionary Science: A Brief Timeline

With respect to modern evolutionary science, Darwin is not its' inventor. A century before Darwin, biological evolution was propagated by important evolutionists such as Charles De Secondat Montesquieu (1689-1755), Benoit de Maillet (1656-1738), Denis Diderot (1713-1784), George Louis Buffon (1707-1788), and Charles Darwin's pagan grandfather, Erasmus Darwin (1731-1802).  Erasmus posited almost every important idea that has since appeared in evolutionary science, including natural selection, all of which he expounded upon at length in his book Zoonomia (1794).  It was from his grandfather that Charles Darwin got many of the major portions of his biological evolution theory. (Evolutionary Naturalism: an ancient idea. Jerry Bergman, creation.com)

But where did these modern teachers of biological evolution get their theories?  According to anthropologist Henry Fairfield Osborn, longtime director of the American Museum of Natural History, ancient pagans are the inventers of modern evolutionary science. In the introduction to his history of evolutionism Osborn wrote:

"When I began the search for anticipations of the evolutionary theory....I was led back to the Greek natural philosophers and I was astonished to find how many of the pronounced and basic features of the Darwinian theory were anticipated even as far back as the seventh century B.C." (Osborn, From the Greeks to Darwin, p. xi)

Long before Darwin, Greek nature philosophers (600 – 100BC) were teaching primitive evolutionary conceptions, abiogenesis (something from nothing), chance, determinism, natural selection, transmigration, reincarnation and vast ages together with many other modern assumptions.

The fragments of Anaximander's (c. 610–546 BC) evolutionary speculations show he taught that 'humans originally resembled another type of animal, namely fish' while Democritus (c.460 – 370BC) taught that primitive people began to speak with 'confused' and 'unintelligible' sounds but 'gradually they articulated words.' (Evolution: An Ancient Pagan Idea, Paul James Griffith, creation.com)

The Greek Atomist Epicurus (341 – 270BC), the father of the contemporary evolutionary  materialism  of Darwin, Freud, Karl Marx and many others, taught there was no need of a God or gods, for the Universe came about by a chance movement of atoms. (ibid)

With respect to old earth or vast ages, Plato and many other Greek philosophers taught that the present universe came about millions of years ago. (ibid)

After the Greeks, the Roman naturalist Pliny the Elder (AD23 – 79) said we are so subject to chance,

"....that Chance herself takes the place of God; she proves that God is uncertain." (ibid)

Darwinism affirms the claims made by Plato, Epicurus and Pliny that by chance living beings made themselves over thousands of ages, while modern evolutionary biology affirms Anaximander's claim that humans evolved from lower order life-forms.

Greek and Roman philosophers received these ideas from ancient Sumerians (Babylonians), Egyptians and Hindus whose Mystery Religions, occult science, nature philosophies and evolutionary cosmogonies extended back centuries before Greek and Roman civilization.

For example, one Hindu belief was that Brahman (the Void or Divine Energy Field) spontaneously generated itself (abiogenesis) as something like a seed or singularity (Cosmic Egg or Big Bang) about 4.3 billion years ago and then evolved under its' own power by which it expanded and formed all that exists:

"These Hindus believed in an eternal Universe that had cycles of rebirth, destruction and dormancy, known as 'kalpas,' rather like oscillating big bang theories. We also read in the Hindu Bhagavad Gita that the god Krishna says, 'I am the source from which all creatures evolve." (ibid, Griffith)

In India the doctrines of evolution, reincarnation, and karma were thoroughly established from ancient times. They were expounded in the Upanishads (c. 1000 BC – AD 4), the philosophical-mystical texts held to be the essence of the Vedas.

In the West, the Mayan culture began about 600 BC, and its nature religion incorporated a ‘streamlined evolution’ that taught that the rain-god first made rivers, then fish, then serpents, and finally humans. The members of a totem clan believed:

“…themselves to be…descendants of a common ancestor. … Thus, the Turtle clan of the Iroquois are descended from a fat turtle, which, burdened by the weight of its shell in walking … gradually developed into a man. The Cray-Fish clan of the Choctaws were originally cray-fish and lived underground… "(ibid, Jerry Bergman)

The relationship of totemism to evolution is described in more detail in the following quote:

The luck attributed to a rabbit’s foot stems from a belief rooted in ancient totemism, the claim, predating Darwinism by thousands of years, that humankind descended from animals. Differing from Darwinism, however, totemism held that every tribe of people evolved from a separate species of animal."  (ibid, Bergman)

Standing for the triune God, miracle of creation ex nihilo  and resurrection of the dead (Acts 17: 16-34) the Apostle Paul argued against the Greek Epicureans and pantheist Stoics, contenders for the World Soul (Gaia), Cosmic Eggs (Big Bang theory), vast ages, universal life force (evolution), void, animism, fate, determinism, and reabsorption after death."  (Acts 17: 24-32)

When nature sages heard about the resurrection of the dead, many of them sneered due to their belief that the body is a rotting tomb within which their souls were trapped. Since they believed, as modern Hindus, Gnostics, and New Agers do, that the fall consisted of an inexplicable plunge from being as one with the impersonal One Substance (monism), then salvation was reabsorption of soul into the One Substance, therefore the idea of bodily resurrection was repulsive.

Babylon: Source and Model for All Evolutionary Cosmogonies and Occult Science

Speaking through His prophet Jeremiah, God said:

"Babylon hath been a golden cup in the LORD'S hand that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad."  (Jeremiah 51:7)

The original, post-flood evolutionary cosmogony and occult science that served as the source and model for all ancient and modern evolutionary cosmogonies, Mysteries, nature religions, occult science, and evolutionary philosophy around the world as well as for evolutionary Christianity’s false science gospel is the Babylonian Enuma Elish.  Though it was found in Nineveh, the capital of the Assyrians, evidence indicates that it dates back to the Sumerians.  It begins with an evolutionary account of beginnings. According to Thorkild Jacobsen,

“….Enuma Elish assumes that all things have evolved out of…watery chaos….Then, in the midst of this watery chaos, two gods came into existence…”  (The Long War Against God, Dr. Henry Morris, pp. 243-244)

The Book of Revelation pinpoints Babylon as the post-flood center of an occult pagan mystery religion based on the idea that the universe and then life evolved into existence under its’ own powers.  Other important elements are advaitic monism, science of magic transformation, exalted priesthood, gnosis, secret initiations, psychic-powers, familiar spirits, androgyny (transgender), sexual perversions, and other evils.

Babylon embraced the Great Lie of Eden. Its inhabitants claimed the title, "I AM." The root source of this evil religion and its occult power was the spirit of this world, Satan:

".... the Great Lie (is) the foundation stone of Hinduism, Buddhism, Sufism, Jainism, Sikhism, Taoism, the Kabala, the Greek Hermetic, Eleusinian and Gnostic beliefs, Neo-Platonism, all the occult creeds from Theosophy and the Masonic orders to the Rosicrucian's (and) the New Age movement. The Great Lie is...the belief that man is God, that his true identity is the immortal self...that as God, he will never die (and) Sin and depravity are...illusions since this inner divinity is at man's core." (The Great Lie, Tal Brooke, SCP Journal, Vol. 29:2-29:3, 2005)

In the essay, "The Paganization of Biblical Studies," Dr. Peter Jones writes that the books of Presbyterian heretic Lloyd Geering, Emeritus Professor of Religious Studies at Victoria University are promoted by the most powerful element of the spirit of our age – the international occult New Age Luciferian elite-pagans.  Geerings books, such as “Christianity without God” serve as programmatic templates for the future utopian pagan community from the point of view of Christian apostasy and socialism undergirded by evolutionary pantheist orthodoxy.

Among important elements of the New Spirituality are the following: elevation of the divine mind of man-gods above the Mind of God, science as the instrument of the will of man-gods, religious pluralism, apotheosis via psycho-spiritual techniques and spiritual evolution, and animism, which means that the cosmos is infused with an evolving divine energy.

According to Geering, the world's future culture will be post-Christian, global, religiously pagan and evolutionary because evolution proves that human beings, as they evolved out of primordial matter, created language, then symbols, then religious explanations and God Himself. Therefore tomorrow's culture will be pluralistic, syncretistic, relativistic and poly-gendered because evolution integrates all scientific, cultural, religious, economic and human gender into one worldwide divine substance thus when the global society emerges from the evolutionary process,

"...it will require humanity to develop a new consciousness and a new form of spirituality" because "the new story which has become basic to the global world begins with a new word or idea...evolution." (ibid, Jones)

In opposition to Geerings evolutionary account, the Christian lawyer and research historian Constance Cumbey exposes the delusions of Geering and other evolutionary theists in her thoroughly researched book, "The Hidden Dangers of the Rainbow."   Cumbeys impeccable research reveals that many New Age historians claim their evolutionary religion originated in Atlantis and afterward was preserved in the ancient land of Babylon,

"...and surrounding Plains of Shinar and from there disseminated throughout the earth, including Taoist doctrines of China, Mayan-Aztec teachings of Mexico and Central/South America; Great Spirit teachings of the American Indians, Hindu/Buddhist teachings of Asia, etc." (pp. 250-251)

According to ancient Church Father Clement it was Noah's son Ham, who preserved and revived the Mystery Religion of Atlantis after the flood. (Recognitions of Clement 4.26-29)

In his well-researched book, "Ancient Post-Flood History," Ken Johnson, Th.D., affirms that it was Ham and his sons who persuaded the people to accept that the true God was merely a creative force within all of nature, making man the highest form of life/god. Through the power of persuasion, Ham and his sons revived the magical evolutionary transformation, pantheism and idolatry of the pre-flood generations. (pp. 47-48)

Dr. Jones reports that when Geering found out that evolutionary 'New Spirituality' actually originates in ancient nature religions  he was shocked, leading Jones to  say with great irony that in an odd turn of events,

"....contemporary spiritual evolution goes backwards!”  It turns out that Biblical theism disturbed pre-flood evolutionary progress. Now clocks will “have to be put back” because Geerings version of events, which claim to be “spanking new, objective and scientific” turn out to be “as old as the hills,” hence in need rewriting.

Clocks will have to be turned all the way back to the pre-flood world where evolution is closely connected to the devil's lie that man is a being who though presently limited in time and space is nevertheless capable of achieving a great leap of being and magically evolving into a much more powerful god-like being in the future.

As Solomon said, there is nothing new under the sun. Thus the Babylonian ‘wine’ of madness has been revamped and revised for our own time by the spirit of the world and is now drunkenly celebrated as modern evolutionary science throughout the West by delusional scoffers and mockers of the triune God and faithful orthodox Christians. In this light, when Peter prophesied about the "scoffers" in "the last days" who claim that "everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation" (2 Peter 3:4) he is speaking of this generation of darkness loving, wine-imbibing God-haters, Satanists, occultists, trans-humanists, Wiccans, atheists, and evolutionary theologians, who being wise in their own wisdom, reject the Authority of God, the inerrancy of His Word and in particular the Genesis account in preference of ancient superstitions, heresies, idolatries and delusions revised and revamped for our own age. This is because the wise ones did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved, so God sends upon them a “deluding influence so that they will believe what is false…”   (2 Thessalonians 2: 10-11)

So as the scientifically enlightened wise ones contemptuously sniff and sneer at the faithful remnant of ‘foolish, unscientific, anti-evolution religionists,’ in reality it is the entirely deluded wise ones who are on a collision course with a modern version of the pre-flood world catastrophe – and we know how badly that ended.
