Pope Francis: First it was Anti-Creation Evolution. Now it's Phony Climate Change Science

In "Pope Francis: Climate Change is Real and Humans are Causing It," Mother Jones writer Jeremy Schulman reported with approvalthat Pope Francis relies upon science to inform his opinions about climate change. (Mother Jones, Jan. 15, 2015)

Global change science, just what is it and why do collectivists (globally socialist green pagans, Technocrats, Gaia-worshippers, Luciferians, et al) promote it?

The goal now is a socialist, redistributionist society, which is nature’s proper steward and society’s only hope.” David Brower, founder of Friends of the Earth
Isn’t the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn’t it our responsibility to bring that about?”- Maurice Strong, founder of the UN Environment Program

Effective execution of Agenda 21 will require a profound reorientation of all human society, unlike anything the world has ever experienced a major shift in the priorities of both governments and individuals and an unprecedented redeployment of human and financial resources. This shift will demand that a concern for the environmental consequences of every human action be integrated into individual and collective decision-making at every level.” UN Agenda 21
“I envisage the principles of the Earth Charter to be a new form of the ten commandments. They lay the foundation for a sustainable global earth community.” – Mikhail Gorbachev, co-author of The Earth Charter
We are close to a time when all of humankind will envision a global agenda that encompasses a kind of Global Marshall Plan to address the causes of poverty and suffering and environmental destruction all over the earth.” Al Gore, Earth in the Balance
We have reached the critical moment of decision on climate change. Failure to act to now would be deeply and unforgivably irresponsible. We urgently require a global environmental revolution.” Tony Blair, former British PM
Climate change should be seen as the greatest challenge to ever face mankind.”Prince Charles
Climate change is real. Not only is it real, it’s here, and its effects are giving rise to a frighteningly new global phenomenon: the man-made natural disaster.” – Barack Obama,US President
Coal makes us sick. Oil makes us sick. It’s global warming. It’s ruining our country. It’s ruining our world.” Harry Reid, U.S. Senate majority leader
By the end of this century climate change will reduce the human population to a few breeding pairs surviving near the Arctic.” – Sir James Lovelock, Revenge of Gaia
The common enemy of humanity is man. In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill. All these dangers are caused by human intervention, and it is only through changed attitudes and behavior that they can be overcome. The real enemy then, is humanity itself.” Club of Rome, premier environmental think-tank, consultants to the United Nations
We’ve got to ride this global warming issue. Even if the theory of global warming is wrong, we will be doing the right thing in terms of economic and environmental policy.”- Timothy Wirth, President of the UN Foundation
No matter if the science of global warming is all phony…climate change provides the greatest opportunity to bring about justice and equality in the world.”- Christine Stewart, former Canadian Minister of the Environment
The world is being actively transformed by a spiritually pantheist occult Gnostic power elite and their minions according to a very narrow economical/political/social philosophy called Technocracy, and it is impacting every segment of society in every corner of the world:
“….Technocracy is being sponsored and orchestrated by a global elite led by David Rockefeller’s and Zbigniew Brzezinski’s Trilateral Commission….Originally started in the early 1930s, Technocracy is antithetical to every American institution that made us into the greatest nation on earth. It eschews property rights, obsoletes capitalism, hates politicians and traditional political structures, and promises a lofty utopian dream made possible only if engineers, scientists, and technicians are allowed to run society. When Aldous Huxley penned Brave New World in 1932, he accurately foresaw this wrenching transformation of society and predicted that the end of it would be a scientific dictatorship unlike anything the world has ever seen.” (ibid, Preface, Technocracy Rising, Patrick Wood)
According to Patrick Wood, our existing price-based economic system is being reinvented with new and untested ‘green’ economics theories such as carbon footprints. Carbon footprints supposedly equal the amount of carbon dioxide allegedly produced by driving your car, running your refrigerator and small appliances, and cutting your grass, for example. If you use too much, and your carbon footprint is too big, green Technocrats either want the government to punish you or ration the amount of energy you are allowed to receive. The ultimate goal is that the personal energy consumption of every human being should be closely monitored and controlled.
Steve Milloy, author of the book "Green Hell: How Environmentalists Plan to Control Your Life" opens with a brief summary of what the “Green Movement” is really all about:
Green ideologues are bursting with an impatient zeal to begin dictating, through force of law, your mobility, diet, home energy use, the size of your house, how far you can travel, and even … how many children you can have … this is how the greens themselves describe their intentions … Living green is really about some else micro-regulating you – downsizing your dreams and plugging each one of us into a brand new social order for which we never bargained. It’s about you living under the green thumb and having the boundaries of your life drawn by others.” (Green Hell: How Environmentalists Plan to Control Your Life and What You Can Do to Stop Them, Steve Milloy p. 3)
There is a time for everything, including the weather, which changes seasonally and sometimes daily. The people most in touch with the vagaries of weather are those such as farmers, who live closest to nature. Their knowledge (scientia) is sensible and poses no threat to our flourishing as opposed to the phony science of global change/climate science, which if accepted without question means forceful imposition of a spiritually pantheist, communalistic totalitarian social order which was known as Marxist Communism during the 20th century. While 20th century Communists and Socialists annihilated in excess of one-hundred million men, women and children on behalf of their agenda today’s totalitarians speak in terms of billions. In order for spiritually pantheist totalitarians to “save the planet” billions of men, women, and children must die around the globe while America’s population must be reduced by millions.

Just recently Pope Francis joined the growing ranks of anti-creation evolution-embracing theologians when he publically embracedevolution and chastised the faithful for holding fast to the Genesis account of creation.   Ideas have consequences, thus theologians who embrace anti-creation evolution are at a minimum serving as gatekeepers for the spiritually pantheist worldview, meaning they are not serving the Lord but the evil one in back of anti-creation evolution.  Once evolution is embraced it's just a few more downward steps to the embrace of phony climate change science and the hideous idea that humans are guilty of causing climate change for which genocide is the answer.    Yes indeed, ideas have consequences.

Evolution: Anti-Creation Religion of Secular Atheists & Powerful Occult Pantheists

John 1:10 tells us that everything seen and unseen was created ex nihilo by the spoken Word of the Son of God. Jesus Christ is therefore God just as the Father and Holy Spirit are God, thus the Word of the Genesis account is Jesus Christ of the New Testament.  Jesus Christ is the Word.   His Word is Truth even as He Himself is Truth, the same today as yesterday and for always.

In the classic work "Earth's Earliest Ages" (1876), G.H. Pember, an English theologian, records that  men of the 19th century are returning to ancient wisdom traditions and thought is "sustaining its flight upon the wings of ancient lore."   Almost every characteristic of antiquity is returning:

"Open intercourse with demons is being renewed on a vast scale in the very heart of Christendom....numerous circles are carrying on magical practices (and the) ancient Mysteries (are being restored together with) mesmeric healings....astrology....and other practices....And, impossible as it would have seemed a few years ago, all these 'superstitions' are floating back....upon the tide of 'modern thought."   They come no longer veiled in mystery, "but in accordance with the spirit of the age, present themselves as the fruit of science...progress....and evolutionary philosophy."   (Earth's Earliest Ages, G.H. Pember, pp. 243, 245)

Today evolutionary philosophy and the ancient wisdom traditions undergirding it are promoted by modern practitioners as more than mere science. Evolution is promulgated as an ideology, a secular humanist religion, a "full-fledged alternative to Christianity" with meaning and morality, said Michael Ruse,

" I am an ardent evolutionist and an ex-Christian, but I must admit that in this one complaint—and Mr [sic] Gish is but one of many to make it—the literalists are absolutely right. Evolution is a religion. This was true of evolution in the beginning, and it is true of evolution still today.… Evolution therefore came into being as a kind of secular ideology, an explicit substitute for Christianity."   Michael Ruse
Michael Ruse was professor of philosophy and zoology at the University of Guelph, Canada. He was the leading anti-creationist philosopher whose flawed arguments  convinced a biased judge to rule against the Arkansas ‘balanced treatment’ of creation and evolution in schools bill proposed in 1981. At the trial, he and other anti-creationists loftily dismissed the claim that evolution was an anti-god religion.  (creation.com)
As Ruse confessed though, evolution is an anti-creation religion, a "full-fledged alternative to Christianity."  It is promulgated by contemporary Western heirs of a rebellion against our Heavenly Father that emerged out of the Renaissance giving birth to an occult intelligentsia, open intercourse with spirits, astral plane travels, and Illuminism.  The mother of Illuminism is Babylon's Mystery Religion which teaches that man,
"...can evolve, through initiatory steps, into a god state himself." (New World Order: The Ancient Plan of Secret Societies," William Still, p. 27)

The goal of Illuminism is the transformation of human initiates into supermen  (god-men) who in turn will impose a worldwide totalitarian pagan and occult pantheist state.  During the 20th century Illuminism took the form of scientific socialism and scientific communism.  Today it is 'green' Technocracy, a scientific dictatorship calling for the radical transformation of traditional Western economics, government, law, energy, Christianity, and humanity which is why it maliciously fosters the atheism, amorality, envy, chaos, blood-letting and revolution necessary for undermining and overthrowing already existing governments.  (Technocracy Rising: The Trojan Horse of Global Transformation, Patrick M. Wood)

Scientifically Demonstrable Revelations

In the heart of Christendom at the time of the Renaissance the "alternative" originally took the form of occult pantheist humanism bespeaking evolution of divine spark or spirit to higher and higher states of god-consciousness.  Later on another form arose: evolutionary secular materialist  humanism.  While the former was blatantly occult and spiritually pantheist, the latter was essentially a de-spiritualized pagan materialism---a magical version of the former falsely presenting itself as demonstrable empirical science to masses of hopeless people.  Bereft of assurances of immortality after so great an attack on biblical revelation masses of hopeless people were "begging for a revelation which was scientifically demonstrable."  James Webb

One such 'scientific' revelation was provided by Karl Marx.  Marxs' secular-atheist dialectical-materialism (evolutionism) cannot be understood apart from the inventor of the dialectic system, master-magician G.W.F. Hegel. Hegel was an important member of the occult intelligentsia. He closely studied ancient and modern wisdom traditions including ancient Egyptian Hermetic magic and Babylonian Kabala as well as mesmerism, psychic phenomena, dowsing, precognition, and sorcery. He professed belief in a pantheistic Earth Spirit, and informally aligned himself with Hermetic societies, anti-Christian God Freemasons, and the pantheist-Rosicrucian's. (Hegel and the Hermetic Tradition, Glenn Alexander Magee, 2001)

Enrico Ferri (1856-1926) provides another scientifically demonstrable "revelation.  Ferri was a prominent socialist of his day and an Italian criminologist who for many years was the editor of Avanti, a socialist daily.  In "Socialism and Religious Beliefs"  Ferri confesses that in his scientific "revelation" divine miracle-producing 'knowing' energies animate ideological systems,

"....modern positive science...has substituted the conception of natural causality for the conception of miracles and divinity....I add that not only is Darwinism not contrary to socialism, but that it forms one of its fundamental scientific premises. As Virchow justly remarked, socialism is nothing else than the logical and vital outcome partly of Darwinism and partly of Spencerian evolution." (Marxists.org)

In another example of a scientifically demonstrable "revelation," Gustav Wetter expounds on the magical 'mental' and 'divine' properties animating and informing nonliving matter and dialectic:

"...matter itself continually attains to higher perfection under its own power, thanks to indwelling dialectic...the dialectical materialists attribution of 'dialectic' to matter confers on it, not mental attributes only, but even divine ones." (Dialectical Materialism, Gustav A. Wetter, 1977, p. 58)

  Occult Scientism Undergirds Scientific "Revelations"

In his book, The Abolition of Man (1947), C.S. Lewis observed that the Renaissance had reawakened a magical view of man and the world closely connected with ancient occult sciences and pantheist wisdom traditions.  Along with these arcane nature systems came conceptions of biological and spiritual transformism of one kind of lower thing to another kind of higher thing (i.e. chemicals to life, pond scum to fish; apes to man; man to god), reincarnation, karma and for secular materialists there eventually came philosophically materialist Darwinism, natural selection (a mystical choice-making energy) and determinism (mystical fatalism).

Early on Lewis understood that these two types of pagan and pantheist humanism were merely two sides of the same revival of nature worship. Thus he argued, occult pantheist and materialist humanism are not enemies in principle but rather cooperating philosophies of naturalism united against the personal God in three Persons who created ex nihilo, His Authoritative Revelation to mankind, Original Sin, man as His spiritual image-bearer, moral law, immutable truth, Christian theism, and Christian-based civilization.
Catholic philosopher and historian Thomas Molnar (1910-2010) reveals two recurring common themes uniting both schools of thought in his book "Utopia: The Perennial Heresy." The two themes of both schools of thought are monism (naturalism, meaning only nature or cosmos exists) and evolutionary conceptions. At the root of these two themes there is:
"...defiance of God, pride unlimited, a yearning for enormous power and the assumption of divine attributes with a view to manipulating and shaping mankind's fate." (p. 227)
In other words, in order for modern super men to scientifically engineer a perfected new world order populated by a perfected New Man, two actions must first take place:  the speculative murder of the living Holy Triune God and the sealing off of the way to Heaven.
John Taylor Gatto, former New York State and New York City Teacher of the Year, also tracked the rise of this destructive modern occult pagan intelligentsia together with the potent "interconnected shadow-government" they have created to radically reshape the Western and American consciousness.  In his book, "The Underground History of American Education"  Gatto points to the Fabian socialist utopians as one of the most powerfully effective revolutionary 'change-making' organizations and notes that,
"...it would not be too far out of line to call the twentieth century the Fabian century." (Gatto, p. 178)
What 'scientific' secular-atheists aspired to be in completely reordering Christian-based Western society and the souls of men according to scientific evolutionary principles, 20th century Fabians actually were.  Much if not most of the madness, chaos and all else that has gone so horribly wrong here in America is attributable to the Fabians.
The first Fabians had almost all been lapsed Anglicans from Evangelical homes who became dignitaries in the Church of England:
"There was a Christian fringe to the London socialism of the eighties, but this too was Anglican. The Christian Socialists came together in Stewart Headlam's Guild of St. Matthew and the Land Reform Union; and the more respectable Christian Social Union, formed in 1889 -- seeking in Fabian style to permeate the Anglican Church -- soon attracted more than two thousand clerical members. Dissenting clergymen too began to find a place in the Fabian Society and the London Progressives, while Unitarian churches and centres like Stanton Coit's Ethical Church provided a meeting place for believers and idealist agnostics . . . Socialism was for all of them, the new Evangelism." (Norman and Jeanne MacKenzie, The Fabians, Simon & Schuster, 1977, p. 18)

The failure of many Anglican hierarchy to repudiate apostatizing higher Biblical critics and radical freethinkers scandalized faithful, orthodox Evangelicals, whose outraged response was considered reactionary by the scholarly community. In 1861, Benjamin Jowett and six liberal Churchmen published a volume entitled Essays and Reviews, in which they expressed alarm lest "the majority of Churchmen, by holding fast the narrow, fundamental beliefs" in the Genesis account for example,

"...should estrange themselves more and more from contemporary thought."  (The Founders of Psychical Research, Alan Gauld, p. 49)

Jowett himself held that, "Scripture must be interpreted like any other book and some of the essayists were even more radical in their tone."

The portents of apostasy in the Church of England were ominous:

"It seemed to conservative Christians quite appalling that at a time when the impregnable rock of Holy Scripture was being undermined by Darwin and his allies, a group of those whose sacred duty should have been to shore it up again had conspired to hammer their wedges not under it but into it." (Gauld, p. 50)

Gauld records the rapid decline in spiritual aspirations among younger Cambridge men:

"Scepticism based on science flowed into and reinforced the older stream of doubt stemming from historical and ethical considerations. Their joint effect may be traced in the fact that whilst the outstanding Cambridge men of the 1840's -- B. F. Westcott, C. B. Scott, J. Llewellyn Davies, J.E.B. Mayer, Lord Alwyne Compton, E.H, Bickersteth, C. F. Mackenzie, Charles Evans, J. B. Lightfoot, E. W. Benson and F.J.A. Hort -- all took Orders (three of them becoming great clerical headmasters and six bishops), the outstanding Cambridge intellectuals of the 1870's -- the Trinity group centring on Henry Sidgwick and Henry Jackson and including Frederic Myers, G. W. and A. J. Balfour, Walter Leaf, Edmund Gurney, Arthur Verrall, F. W. Maitland, Henry Butcher and George Prothero -- tended towards agnosticism or hesitant Deism."  (Gauld, p. 64)

In this same period a group of young dons from Trinity College, Cambridge, were also turning to psychic research as a substitute for their lost God-created souls and Evangelical faith:

" In February 1882, Podmore took Pease to a meeting at which this group founded the Society for Psychical Research . . . Among those who founded the SPR were Henry Sidgwick, Arthur Balfour -- later a conservative Prime Minister -- and his brother, Gerald."  (The Fabians, p. 18)

The progenitor of the socialist Fabian Society was the Cambridge University spiritist group, the Ghost Society founded in 1851. The Ghost Society also spawned the Society for Psychical Research (SPR) founded in 1887:
"Council Members and Honorary Members of the SPR included a past Prime Minister (William Gladstone)...and a future Prime Minister (Arthur Balfour)...2 bishops; and Tennyson and Ruskin, two of the outstanding literary figures of the day (as well as) Lewis Carroll (and) a surprising number of titled persons." (Gauld, p. 140)

Having conceptually murdered the God of Revelation, disowned their own souls, and closed the way to Heaven Fabians sought power here below, thus the over-riding interest of the S.P.R. was the spirit realm. In search of power they conducted scientific research into phenomena such as mesmeric trance, telepathy, clairvoyance, apparitions, haunted houses, seances, and all aspects of mediumism, or contact with spirits, to determine the scientific laws of physical spiritualistic phenomena.
By the early 20th century, the materialist Sigmund Freud and heavily demonized Gnostic occultist Carl Jung were SPR Corresponding Members. Both men contributed to the S.P.R. Journal of Proceedings.
In an expose of Jung's occult tendencies Richard Noll writes:
"With the founding of the Society for Psychical Research in England in 1882, and the copious publications of its investigators, new models of the unconscious mind emerged. The most respected model was that of the 'subliminal self' by Frederick Myers (1843-1901), the 'mytho-poetic' (myth-making) function of which resembles Jung's later conception of a collective unconscious. Jung read widely in the literature of psychical research in medical school and his 1902 dissertation cites the work of Myers and others in this school." (Noll, The Jung Cult, 1994, pp. 31-2)
Above all else, revolutionary/evolutionary socialist organizations such as the Fabians were counter-establishment, anti-tradition, sexual liberationists consisting of committed Darwinian Gnostic elitists who were intolerant of the Holy God in three Persons, man as His spiritual image bearer, and every vestige of authority such as immutable Truth, Moral Law, sexual ethics, the traditional family, free market systems, individual liberties, and cumbersome processes of Americas' Constitutional Republic and  wanted to see a new order ruled by a superior caste.
Fabianism took its name from Roman general Fabius Cunctator who finally defeated Hannibal by methodically chipping away at his patience and will to win, an idea adopted by  Marxist theoretician Antonio Gramsci who called for a long, slow, stealthy march through Western and American mind and culture-shaping institutions.   In this way, Christian foundations would be destroyed, minds captured, souls re-engineered and institutions re-ordered.
Gatto writes that for Fabianists, Darwin was the 'weird holy man' they adored,
"...the man who gave them a theory inspirationally equal to god-theory, around which a new organization of society could be justified." (p. 180)
Darwinism is inherently racist because it rejects creation ex nihilo, by extension it also rejects monogenism (all humans descended from Adam and Eve) in favour of polygenism (multiple origins of human races). Thus, to realize the tremendous task that racialist Fabians assigned themselves in scientifically engineering a new order and a New Man said Gatto, we need to reflect on Darwin's shattering books,,
'The Origin of Species' (1859) and 'The Descent of Man' (1871), each arguing in its own way that....children are (the evolved product of) their race of origin, some 'favored'...some not" (Gatto, p. 179)
Together, Darwin's books issued a license to America's ruling caste to justify racism, moral relativism, the imposition of evolutionary teaching, forced schooling, perverse sex education, population control schemes, and much more, all destructive of America's traditional Christian-based Republic.  Gatto writes that from an evolutionary standpoint, our government controlled schools,
"...are the indoctrination phase of a gigantic breeding experiment...Many (children are genetically) a racial menace (while) the rest...thought of as soldiers in genetic combat, the moral equivalent of war....For governments, children could no longer be considered individuals but were regarded as categories, rungs on a biological ladder.  Evolutionary science pronounced the majority useless mouths waiting for nature to dispense with entirely." (Gatto, p. 179)
Whereas Christian salvation was formerly held to be a matter between Jesus Christ the Word Incarnate and the individual  and the aim of Christian-based Europe and America had for centuries been fixed on the work of winning liberties for the individual against the oppressive State, the Age of Darwin brought an end to all of this.  By the turn of the century the Fabian program based in "scientifically demonstrable" revelations from the spirit realm and racialist Darwinism was spreading quickly through the best colleges and universities capturing the minds of America's best and brightest issuing in the view that rights, wealth, and privileges are the preserve of the superior caste in control of an omniscient mystical god-State together with salvation as a pantheist conception based in ideas of collectivity.

Secular historians of the nineteenth century agree that the dominant figures in the occult spiritist/socialist movements were mainly lapsed Evangelicals and Anglican clergymen preceded by Renaissance rebels against God.  The onslaught of skepticism, atheism, agnosticism, higher Biblical criticism and dehistorization of the Genesis account together with moral relativism, Darwinism and occult New Age spirituality assaulting the tattered foundations of our Republic were inspired by Protestant/Evangelical heresy together with an unhealthy interest in spiritism. Norman and Jeanne MacKenzie explain this strange anomaly:
"The lesson instilled by Evangelical parents had been given a secular form. Evolution or what (Sidney) Webb called Zeitgeist, had taken the place of Providence, yet what Webb described as 'blind social forces...which went on inexorably working out social salvation' did not relieve men of their moral responsibility. Victorian religion had taught that a belief in God's purposes must be accompanied by an effort to discern and advance them. Socialists who substituted a secular religion for the faith of their youth felt the same compulsion." (Norman and Jeanne MacKenzie, The Fabians, 1977, p. 115-116)
Todays' Green Dragon

By the mid 1880's the Green Dragon---the spirit of madness, heresy, apostasy, moral relativism, occult magic, spiritism, nature worship and evolutionary thinking working within lapsed Evangelicals was already creeping into the Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox Church.  Today Christendom is dead and the spirit of green-pagan madness is bringing our Republic to ruin while steadily injecting its' abominations into the whole body of the sleeping American Church. Aided and abetted by falsifiers of the Revealed Word who have "penetrated the Church" with a mist of lies resulting in narcissistic self-affirmation, emotional ecstasy, moral relativism, acceptance of evolutionary philosophy and other ancient wisdom traditions along with liberation from sin and hell,

"....Western civilization is daily committing suicide, by aborting itself, ignoring the law of God, and binding itself in Green chains.  What of professing Christians?  It is not clear many believe, as they still did at the American Revolution, that 'the truths of the gospel are the most pure, its motives are the most noble and animating, and its comforts the most supporting to the mind.' Our culture is arguably as enslaved as were the ancient people chained by Gaia and Python. " (Resisting the Green Dragon, James Wanliss, p. 267)

Only Christ can bring liberation.  The Church needs to recover the Biblical persuasion,

".... that the Christian is a pilgrim on the road to a heavenly city, that the social structures of the earthly city do not represent the coming of God's kingdom, and the vision of a society should be to direct man to what is transcendent." (ibid)

Creation Ex Nihilo vs Evolutionary Naturalism: The Single Most Critical Conflict Today

In June 2005 the prestigious World Summit on Evolution was held on the remote island of San Cristobal in the Galapagos Islands off the coast of Ecuador.  The location was chosen because it was the spot where Charles Darwin docked in 1835 to probe the ultimate question—the origin and nature of life.

The Galapagos summit was hailed as the Woodstock of Evolution, and attending scientists celebrated as a literal “Who’s Who of evolutionary theory.”

A key figure at the conference was the world famous philosopher of mind, Daniel Dennett.  Dennett is the favorite of all new pagan and mystical pantheist trans-humanists. They believe that computers can not only simulate human mental processes but will eventually evolve the conscious awareness known today as artificial intelligence

Strangely, for a philosopher of mind Dennett seeks to convince the world that there really isn’t any such thing as a mind in the traditional Biblical sense. In the Biblical sense, the material brain is an awesomely designed computer by which spirit, the citadel of man’s soul, interfaces with the world of matter, time, and space. Like dreaming however, thinking does not take place within the material brain but within the unseen dimension of spirit.

As a neo-pagan evolutionary materialist (pagan animist), Dennett enthusiastically embraces Darwin’s evolutionary theory because evolution—-an unseen creative energy that acts upon matter—- supposedly provides a ‘scientific’ explanation for the emergence of life from non-life bearing chemicals, thereby supposedly negating the necessity of the living, supernatural Tri-Personal God.   Hence Dennett’s delusional insistence that there is no soul/spirit (mind, will) associated with the human brain or any supernatural God or life after death.   Thus the central concern of Dennett’s career has been to explain how,

“….meaning, function and purpose can come to exist in a world that is intrinsically meaningless and functionless.” (The Spiritual Brain, Beauregard & O’Leary, p. 2)

Dennett’s pagan materialist assumptions are in keeping with Darwin’s conceptions.  In thoroughly researching Darwin’s notebooks atheist evolutionists Stephen Jay Gould and Ernst Mayer have shown that Darwin identified himself as a philosophical materialist several months before he developed the idea of natural selection, a type of predestination.

Contemporary evolutionary materialism is a revamped version of ancient Egyptian materialism and the Atomism taught by ancient Greek nature philosophers such as Epicurus.  Epicurus held that all that exists are atoms (matter) bumping together in a void.  There is no God or gods; no origin for life and conscious life, thus no soul/spirit, and no life after death.  Just atoms, the void and annihilation.   This means that man is less than nothing.

Neo-pagan evolutionary materialism (naturalism) began ascending to its’ current dominant philosophical and scientific position as far back as the 17th century.   The conflict between the Genesis account of creation ex nihilo and the naturalistic account is an ancient and critically important conflict, one fought with asperity in the 17th century between such men as Donne and Milton on one side and Bacon and the Royal Society on the other.   In the 18th century men such as Swift, Pope and Johnson opposed the neo-pagan naturalism of Hume, Bentham and French philosophers.  By the 19th century it was being fought over the whole of Western culture with creation ministries and men such as Richard John Neuhaus, Seraphim Rose, Peter Jones,  Albert Mohler, Creation Ministries International and a host of other supernatural creationists staunchly opposing all neo-pagan naturalism (materialist and pantheist) as represented by, for example,  Darwin, Dennett, Edward O. Wilson, Steven Pinker, Tom Wolfe, Teilhard de Chardin, Michael Dowd, Rob Bell, and Tim Keller.

Why is this conflict so important?  Among crucial issues is the answer to the question, ‘what is man?’   The answers provided by naturalism are entirely opposed to the answer provided by the Genesis account:

“As part of our commitment to building a just and loving society, we must build a culture that cherishes the dignity and sanctity of innocent human life,” Trump continued. “All children, born and unborn, are made in the holy image of God. Every life is sacred, and every soul is a precious gift from heaven. As the Lord says in Jeremiah, ‘Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I set you apart.’” (Trump Says ‘Every Soul Is A Precious Gift From Heaven,’ Cites Scripture At Prayer Breakfast, Calvin Freiburge, Life Site News, Feb. 7, 2019)

The Genesis account of creation ex nihilo reveals that man is a person because created in the spiritual image of the One God in three Persons.  Man was created directly by the Creator God of Gen. 1 identified by the Apostle John as the Son of God (John 1:1), thus the with a superhuman intelligence and original nature from which Adam, hence all of us,  fell away and to which we are called back.

Vishal Mangalwadi, India's foremost Christian scholar observes that the unique concept of man as God's spiritual image-bearer gave birth to the "belief in the unique dignity of human beings," and this is,

"...the force that created Western civilization, where citizens do not exist for the state but the state exists for the individuals. Even kings, presidents, prime ministers, and army generals cannot be allowed to trample upon an individual and his or her rights." (Truth and Transformation: A Manifesto for Ailing Nations, pp. 12-13)

In affirmation, the brilliant French economist, statesman and author Frederic Bastiat writes of the gifts from God which includes the physical, intellectual and moral life:

"He has provided us with a collection of marvelous faculties. And He has put us in the midst of a variety of natural resources. By application of our faculties to these natural resources we convert them into products, and use them. Life, faculties, production — in other words, individuality, liberty, property — this is man (and) these three gifts from God precede all human legislation, and are superior to it. Life, liberty, and property do not exist because men have made laws. On the contrary, it was the fact that life, liberty, and property existed beforehand that caused men to make laws in the first place." (How Evil Works, David Kupelian, p. 8)

John 1:3 identifies our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ , the second Person of the Holy Trinity as the Creator:

All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” “He was in the world, and the world was made by him” (v. 10). “The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us” (v. 14).

Jesus Christ is the Creator.  Foremost of His miracles is creation out of nothing—six instantaneous acts or days of creation rather than the billions of years of evolutionary process as the wisdom of fallen man holds.

On the miraculous creation of the first man Church Father John Chrysostom writes:

“And God formed man of dust from the earth, and breathed into his face the breath of life, and man became a living soul….the inbreathing communicated to the one created out of earth the power of life, and thus the nature of the soul was formed.  What does a living soul mean?  An active soul, which has the members of the body as the implements of its activities, submissive to its will.” (Genesis, Creation, and Early Man, Seraphim Rose, p.215)

Gregory of Nyssa adds:

The body and the soul were formed at the same time—not one before and the other afterwards…” (ibid, p. 218

Early Church Fathers make the point that the whole of creation---angels, time, matter, fire, wind, water, herbs, trees, all life and conscious life---was brought into existence from non-existence (ex nihilo), not from anything already in existence or from the Essence or Nature of God.  Therefore creation does not have the same essence as God and is not a part of God as most ancient and modern pagans believe.

Lest we be led away into the false opinion that the soul itself is Divine, or a part of God’s essence as pantheists and Gnostic’s teach, Chrysostom writes:

“Certain senseless ones, being drawn away by their own conceptions, without thinking of anything in a God-befitting manner…dare to say that the soul has proceeded from the Essence of God. O frenzy! O folly! How many paths of perdition has the devil opened up for those who will serve him!” (ibid, Rose,  p. 216)

Neo-pagan naturalist myths like Darwin's materialist idea and Telhard de Chardin's Vedanta monist conception reject the Genesis account ex nihilo together with Original Sin and the fall and teach instead an inverted exegesis positing that man comes up from chemicals and lower creatures.  This upside-down view leads to a philosophy of relativism (subjectivism) because if men were once something else, a genderless blob of matter and then later on lizards and even later still some kind of ape-like creature, then not only are we going to become something else–maybe a divine superman, god-man, or super robot—-but nothing can be said about LGBTQ+ and the contemporary menu of 15 genders since all life forms ascended from a genderless blob of matter that spontaneously generated itself from nothing.

With regard to soul/spirit, if man evolved from non-living, genderless matter or energy and lower life-forms, then his rational nature, his soul, differs not qualitatively but only quantitatively from the beasts.  Like beasts, man is not a person but a creature of the earth.  Like them he has no spirit—free will, higher mental faculties, and conscience.  He is a fleshy robot or hominid whose brain is organized by the genome and the genome shaped by natural selection.

Worse, as all pagan and pantheist conceptions are equally God-less, hence lifeless and mindless, none have an ultimate source for life, consciousness, soul, and personhood, thus all are merely different expressions of anti-human nihilism (meaninglessness) which makes man equal to or lower than the nonhuman, thereby allowing for all manner of crimes against humanity, especially the weakest, hated, envied, despised and inconvenient.  Here in paganized America tens of millions of unborn humans have been sadistically liquidated within abortuaries while  during the 20th century in excess of 160,000,000 unevolved human weeds, and useless eaters were brutally murdered in one way or another by two pagan and pantheist regimes: Marxist Communism and National Socialism.

Today, in the name of preventing climate change, ominous anti-human agendas are making astonishing inroads over and across America.

In "War On Humans," Wesley J. Smith reports that the "nature rights" movement seeks to grant flora and fauna,

"...the right to exist, persist, maintain and regenerate its vital cycles"—essentially a right to life that explicitly erases the moral distinction between humans and all other life forms. "  (tothesource, Feb. 27, 2014)

The putative rights of nature may also extend to inanimate matter:

"The Universal Declaration of the Rights of Mother Nature announces that the rights of nature are "inalienable . . . without distinction of any kind, such as may be made between organic and inorganic beings, origin, use to human beings, or any other state."

Nature has already been granted "rights" by Ecuador and Bolivia, as well as in some thirty U.S. municipalities,

"...including Santa Monica, California. Ban ki-Moon, the Secretary General of the United Nations has thrown his support behind the movement, and nature rights has been proposed for inclusion in an eventual UN treaty to fight climate change."

Though pagan naturalists prefer to keep it secret, they say in so many words that the depersonalized collective human organism will eventually evolve into some sort of cosmic Super Organism.  Underlying this idea is a quasi-Buddhist concept expressed in the idea that a universal human organism is reaching a magnificently evolved state of exaltation.

This view leads directly to religious ideas like those of Teilhard de Chardin who said that for Communism to succeed science must become spiritualized and the democrat, communist and fascist must unite.   These three currents must merge in order to promote the spiritual future of the World:

“The function of man is to build and direct the whole of the Earth…We shall end by perceiving that the great object unconsciously pursued by science is nothing else than the discovery of God.” (ibid, Rose, 591)

Chardin theorized that after millions of years of evolution a Christ consciousness was finally emerging out of matter causing the whole world and everything in it to become spiritualized and divinized.  Everything is becoming Christ, said Teilhard.

Seraphim Rose observes that Teilhard’s pantheism is a frightful heresy:

People will think they are gods while actually having this animalistic philosophy (which) is exactly what Antichrist needs in order to come to reign.” (ibid, p. 282)

In the final analysis, the conflict between supernatural creation ex nihilo and anti-human neo-pagan naturalism boils down to the answers to these questions: what or who are you and where you will spend eternity.

The Worldview of Fallen Angels

".....the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one."  1 John 5:19    "Therefore take heed that the light which is in you is not darkness."  Luke 11:35
During the 1970s Satanism and possession became front page news here in America.  It was during this time that the eminent theologian Malachi Martin, a former Jesuit professor at the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome published his shattering book on demon possession.

Martin's "Hostage to the Devil: the Possession and Exorcism of Five Contemporary Americans," presents five cases of actual possession that express important aspects of the worldview of fallen angels which allow us to not only identify these elements but discern their devastating effects within the whole body of the Christian church, the minds of millions of Americans and by extension, our nation.
To begin, the worldview of fallen angels will always take the form of nature worship, or worship of created stuff (i.e., energy, matter) as opposed to worship of the living, personal Creator Who created everything. Thus it will be naturalistic, meaning life created itself, monistic (i.e., World Soul, Omega, Quantum Void) and virulently anti-Genesis account creation ex nihilo.
Through the demon possessing Carl, a gifted parapsychologist, Hearty, the priest conducting Carl's exorcism learns that the possessing demons engineered Carl's astral travels and taught him "the knowledge of the universe." (pp. 386, 390)
With respect to the idea of "astral travels," occult lore holds that etheric or out-of-body astral traveling takes place within the astral planes and sub-planes comprising the habitations,

"(of all) supernatural entities, the locale of gods and demons, the void where the thoughtforms dwell, the region inhabited by spirits of the air and other elements, and the various heavens and hells with their angelic and demonic hosts....With the help of ritual procedures, trained persons believe that they can 'rise on the planes,' and experience these regions in full awareness." ("Beyond the Body: The Human Double and the Astral planes, Benjamin Walker, 1974, pp. 117-8)

From the time of Nimrod, fallen angels have been teaching astral plane conceptions, which is why they are well-known around the world in their many arcane traditions:

"References to this reality are the Dreaming of the Australian Aborigines, the Spirit-world of Shamanism, the Duart of the ancient Egyptians, the Bardo (Intermediate State) of the Tibetans, the Imaginal world of Islamic Esotericism – e.g. the Barzakh (Interworld) or of Suhrawardi and the Mithal (Imaginal realm) of Ibn Arabi – the Universe of Asiyah of some Kabbalists, or of Yetzirah according to others. Other descriptions are the Nervo degree of the Physical State of Theon, the Astral or 2nd Prakritic plane (corresponding to the Linga Sharira or Subtle or Astral body) and the Kama (Desire-Plane) of Blavatsky, the Astral Plane of the Adyar school of Theosophy and of popular occultism, Rudolf Steiner's "Soul World"; and the Vital and Subtle Physical described by Sri Aurobindo and Mirra. These are just a few of the innumerable descriptions of this plane of existence." (The Astral Plane, kheper.net)

The Apostle Paul speaks not of astral planes and the beings supposedly existing there but of fallen angels, the "spirits of wickedness under the heavens," (Eph. 6:12) and their chief, "the prince of the powers of the air." (Eph. 2:2)

According to Paul, fallen angels are dispersed in a multitude throughout the whole expanse of sky which is visible to us, the dwelling place for the host of fallen angels who have been cast down from heaven.

With respect to the "knowledge of the universe,"  imparted by the evil spirit, Carlwas taught that "humans are just a part of the universe...parts of a greater physical being."  This non-life-bearing being or substance is the evolving "universe of matter" and "psychic forces" that somehow account for human beings.  In modern scientific theory, the idea that life mechanically emerges or evolves from inert chemicals or matter is abiogenesis.  In this way of thinking, humans are excited nodes of the universe, as some quantum physicists teach, or "star folk," the evolved product of "star stuff" according to Carl Sagan.

During the five-day exorcism, the vision of the self-created universe of animated matter taught by the possessing spirit was disclosed to Hearty.   According to the evil spirit:

"...men, women, animals, plants, cities, oceans (are) interconnected.  There is really no difference between one thing and anything else....land, ocean, animals, humans, plants are one living organism clad in the shell of breathable atmosphere.  Psychic forces bind it all together....It is a self-creating, self-protecting, self-developing thing.....Earth as mother, as womb, as god, as tomb, as a whole unity protected by its own shell and its own strength (is) all there is." (ibid, p. 395)
This is the likeness of today's occult Luciferian New Age spirituality, right down to the concept of the Big Bang (Cosmic Egg), which supposedly created matter and energy (psychic forces) in the demon's description of the universe as "self-creating;"  inflation in the description of the universe as a "self-developing thing;" Goddess Gaia as the "Earth as self-protecting mother;" and both the collectivist (oneness, sameness) vision of totalitarian socialism and its pagan ideal of androgyny based on the interconnectivity of men, women, children, plants, and oceans with the one substance.

One of the most important exorcism cases involved David, a Catholic priest who became obsessed with the Hindu-pantheist evolutionism of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, one of the ‘fathers’ of occult New Age spirituality. Teilhard’s destructive influence is widespread today within the Catholic Church and increasingly within the Protestant.
Martin writes that Teilhard set out to make it intellectually possible for a Christian to accept the theories of Darwin and his own Hindu pantheist evolutionary conception  and still retain his faith.  But faith in what?
A "new" andscientifically "improved" Christianity--- a syncretic, Hindu-pantheist religion of evolution:
“(a) religion of the future” (definable as a “religion of evolution”) cannot fail to appear before long: a new mysticism, the germ of which (as it happens when anything is born) must be recognizable somewhere in our environment, here and now." (Christianity and Evolution,Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, p. 240, on-line source, lighthousetrailsresearch)

". . . the Cross still stands . . . But this is on one condition, and one only: that it expand itself to the dimensions of a New Age, and cease to present itself to us as primarily (or even exclusively) the sign of a victory over sin. . . (pp. 219-220)

"The more I study the matter, the more I am forced to accept this evidence that original sin, conceived in the form still attributed to it today, is an intellectual and emotional straitjacket." (p. 80)

". . . if a Christ is to be completely acceptable as an object of worship, he must be presented as the saviour of the idea and reality of evolution. (p.78)

"A general convergence of religions upon a universal Christ who fundamentally satisfies them all: that seems to me the only possible conversion of the world, and the only form in which a religion of the future can be conceived." (p. 130)

"What I am proposing to do is to narrow that gap between pantheism and Christianity by bringing out what one might call the Christian soul of Pantheism or the pantheist aspect of Christianity." (p. 56)

"From the most distant origin of things until their unforeseeable consummation, through the countless convulsions of boundless space, the whole nature is slowly and irresistibly undergoing the supreme consecration. Fundamentally — since all time and for ever — but one single thing is being made in creation: the body of Christ." (pp. 74-75)

". . . I can be saved only by becoming one with the universe." (p. 128)

". . . the Christian renaissance whose time is biologically due is on the point of emerging. . ."(p. 148)

"After what will soon be two thousand years, Christ must be born again, he must be reincarnated in a world that has become too different from that in which he lived." (p. 95)

"I believe that the Messiah whom we await, whom we all without any doubt await, is the universal Christ; that is to say, the Christ of evolution." (P. 95)

In "Teilhard de Chardin: Trojan Horse of Vatican II/Heretic Extraordinaire," Dr. J.P. Hubert quotes Teilhard as saying his ambition is to spread around a new religion,

"....in which the personal God ceases to be the great Neolithic proprietor of former times in order to become the soul of our world..."  (amaiceducation.blog.com, 2011)

Teilhard sought to make the Hermetic transformism of Darwin's biological evolution palatable to Catholic theologians eager to embrace modern evolutionary science, said Hubert, and while Teilhard was barred by the Vatican from teaching his heretical theology, he was never forced to repudiate it as heretical.  Clearly his writings establish at the very least he was a notorious pagan materialist heretic,

"arguably the most infamous of the 20th century. Given that he essentially instituted a New Religion he was an apostate from the faith as well."

It would not seem illegitimate, said Hubert, to wonder whether based on Teilhard's admission of a mystical experience if his heresy and apostasy were satanically inspired. Teilhard describes his strange encounter:

"The man was walking in the desert...when the Thing swooped down on him.  Then, suddenly, a breath of scorching air passed across his forehead, broke through the barrier of his closed eyelids; an irresistible rapture took possession of him....mightily refashioning the enfeebled fibres of his being.  And at the same time the anguish of some superhuman peril oppressed him, a confused feeling that the force which had swept down upon him was equivocal, turbid, the combined essence of all evil and goodness.  You called me: here I am grown weary of abstractions, of attenuations, of the wordiness of social life, you wanted to pit yourself against Reality entire and untamed.  I was waiting for you in order to be made holy.  And now I am established on you for life, or for death....He who has once seen me can never forget me: he must either damn himself with me or save me with himself.  O you who are divine and mighty, what is your name? Speak."

 Hubert concludes that Teilhardism is,

"...no doubt of Satanic origin---a true "religion of man," if ever there was one."

Prior to David's obsession with Teilhardism, Martin writes that he was destined to become a professor of anthropology at a Catholic university.  But afterward, David came to see that the Genesis account of creation ex nihilo, and Adam and Eve as the first man and woman and parents of all mankind and how they fell and passed on Original Sin to all human beings were utterly contrary to Darwinian theory and modern scientific thinking.

Believing that Teilhardism could bridge the gap, David taught anthropology from a "modern science" perspective, even going so far as to exclude traditional presentations of doctrines about creation ex nihilo and Original Sin.  But after introducing Teilhardism to his students, doubts arose when he observed the effects of this teaching upon Jonathan, one of his students who was a priest.

The startling influence of Teilhardism upon Jonathan led him to insist,

"that all the sacraments were no more than expressions of man's natural unity with the world around him."

David saw clearly for the first time that Teilhardism exalted man as an animal and pictured,

"God as no more than the very bowels of earth and sky and the spatial distances of the universe with all its expanding galaxies." (Martin, p. 107)

Jonathan left the church and founded his own cult among wealthy Manhattan families.  He preached that the universe and all people were as “one” in a naturally occurring mystical union which he called "Abba Father." (p. 127)

Martin writes that Jonathan had come under the dominion of an evil spirit and David was called in to exorcise him.  However, speaking through Jonathan the evil spirit ridiculed David, saying they both believed the same things, and that if Jonathan needed exorcism David needed it more.

This led David to many weeks of agonizing soul-searching in which he re-examined and finally repented of the intellectual arrogance that led him to embrace Teilhardism along with the "higher criticism" of Scriptures that reduced the Revealed Word to myth, allegory and delusion and the death of Jesus to an insignificant event of the pastrather than,

"…an ever present source of personal forgiveness and unshakable hope for any future." (p. 149)

According to Martin, the evil spirit influencing David and who had nearly succeeded in killing his faith now taunted him that to return to faith would entail slavery of mind and will.   But when David deliberately rejected the demon's taunts,

"...a great and breathtaking dimension full of relief....flooded his mind and will and imagination....And when he now looked at the world of nature around him...and heard the song of a mockingbird nearby, he received it no longer as he had while a Teilhardian evolutionist, as 'intimations of molecules endlessly regrouping,' but rather 'of endless life for each person, and of love without a shadow." (pp. 163, 165)

His faith in God, Christ, Holy Spirit and Scripture restored, David was ready to exorcise the evil spirit who possessed Jonathan.  He did so,

"...in the name of God who created him (Jonathan) and you (evil spirit), and of Jesus of Nazareth who saved him!  You will depart and get back to the uncleanness and agony you chose." (p. 169)

As the five cases of possession and actual exorcism show, the teachings of evolution in all its forms, together with naturalism, astral plane traveling and other occult magic teachings are worldview tools by which fallen angels and demons have been separating mankind from God the Creator since the pre-flood world.  And today, variations of these same teachings have captured the minds of millions of Americans within and without the whole body of the Christian church.

Malachi Martin has done the whole body of the church a great service by extensively documenting the worldview of fallen angels.  And now that he is with our Lord, he has doubtless heard Him say,

"...welcome home, my good and faithful servant!"

When Evil is Good and Good is Evil: The Worldview of the Marquis de Sade

In striking down Section 3 of DOMA, Justice Kennedy accuses men and women who support traditional marriage of harboring an "animus" or hatred of  homosexuals---sexually confused males and females who perceive themselves as two-in-ones, that is, androgynes.

Scalia's dissent suggests that the majority's arrogance betrays its own "animus," toward men and women of faith in the living Creator:

"In the majority's judgment, any resistance to its holding is beyond the pale of reasoned disagreement. To question its high-handed invalidation of a presumptively valid statute is to act (the majority is sure) with the purpose to 'disparage,' 'injure,' 'degrade,' 'demean,' and 'humiliate' our fellow human beings, our fellow citizens, who are homosexual....All that, simply for supporting an Act that did no more than codify an aspect of marriage that had been unquestioned in our society for most of its existence -- indeed, had been unquestioned in virtually all societies for virtually all of human history. It is one thing for a society to elect change; it is another for a court of law to impose change by adjudging those who oppose it hostes humani generis, enemies of the human race."

This issue is about far more than just marriage rights.  It is really about the disintegration of man’s inner person (his soul) and the demolition of the worth and dignity befitting the spiritual image bearer of the Triune God.  This insidious process  began during the Enlightenment when Deists and fellow thinkers elevated 'reason,' or the corrupted intellect of man over the Trinity and Scripture and inferences from Scripture:

"Rationalists of various kinds in the 3rd and 4th centuries tried to minimize the mystery of the Trinity by reducing the persons to appearances or by making God’s essence plural. The church rightly rejected these attempts as heresies."  (God’s Eternally And Only Begotten Son And His Adopted Sons, R. Scott Clark, The Heidelblog,  August 28, 2014)

When Charles Darwin's On the Origin of Species was published on November 24, 1859, all 1,250 copies sold out on the day of publication. God-hating Westerners and Americans alike had long been waiting for a theory with so-called 'scientific' prestige to render the Bible and the God of Revelation obsolete, thus they immediately jumped on the bandwagon of Darwinism. George Bernard Shaw described the relief of men at being rid of the Triune God and declared the world jumped at Darwin.  (Is Evolution Proved?, Dewar and Shelton, p. 4, cited by R.J. Rushdoony, The Necessity for Creationism)

With great haste, many compromising churchmen immediately scrambled aboard the Darwinian bandwagon followed by a long line of theological pied pipers right into our own time. For such people the appeal to compromise is irresistible.  Why not be fashionably "scientific," or "scientifically" respectable rather than faithful?  If the Genesis account of creation is such an embarrassment, why not accommodate the Bible to evolution? Why defend unscientific creation ex nihilo and risk being considered ignorant and backward by the world's 'inner circle' despite St. James warning,

"For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all" (James 2:10).

Similarly, anyone who denies the authority of Scripture at one point has denied it at all points.  Rushdoony comments:

" If we assert that we can set aside the six-day creation doctrine, we have asserted our supremacy over Scripture. Our mind and our convenience now have a higher authority than the Bible, so that we have denied its authority totally and asserted our authority instead. If we claim the right at any point to set aside Scripture, we have established ourselves as the higher authority at every point. Clearly, therefore, the question of authority is at stake in Genesis 7: God or man? Whose word is authoritative and final?"

Working in unison, God-haters and compromising theologians have replaced the personal Creator with evolutionary scientism, thus man is no longer a living soul created in the spiritual image of God, nor male or female, but rather a sexless aggregate of matter in motion while the powers and abilities of his mind (spirit) are nothing more than energies acting on grey matter, that is, chemical interactions and the firing of synapses. In short, man is nothing but an evolved animal or bio-machine, a conscious product of energy acting on matter, a process called evolution.

The disintegration of man’s dignity as a rational creature of God is not the result of true science, as  evolution worshippers claim, but rather the product of a depraved conscience that justifies the depersonalization and abuse of others as the exercise of freedom. It is hostility and outright hatred of God and His image-bearers disguised behind linguistic sophistry.

With the Triune God who spoke creation into existence ex nihilo in six days out of the picture, then so too are the fall, sin, heaven, hell, angels, demons, immutable truth, universal moral absolutes, the two created sexes (male and female) and the entire structure of morally grounded presuppositions, norms, standards, principles, law, sexual ethics, social institutions and society built thereon.    In the resulting void, everything---no matter how depraved-- is now possible.

Long before Nietzsche announced that with the death of the Christian God an inversion of the West's biblically-based moral foundations would be the result, the thoroughly evil Marquis de Sade, a murderer whose name is synonymous with sadism, had already arrived at that conclusion.   Thus he brazenly defended his bestiality, sodomy, sadism, and murder as moral, and redefined both God and Biblical morality as truly evil

Building off of this foundation, he denied any need for limitations on the appetites of animalistic men. Whatever they saw and desired was absolutely permissible. Consistent with his logic was the repudiation of the idea of crime, which de Sade regarded as an imposition on animalistic man’s freedom.   According to de Sade, the criminal---the murderer, rapist, sodomite, pedophile, thief--- is the truly free man.

In short, within the evolving universe of matter and energy, all appetites, no matter how sick and twisted, are normative and ideal, but when the Bible declares these to be fallen and depraved, it is abnormal and evil.  Hence sodomy, rape, sexual abuse of children, tearing unborn babies apart in the womb, euthanasia and genocide are normal, good, and entirely permissible, while dissent against any or all of these evils is itself evil.

De Sade was a thoroughly reprobate man who refused to consider his perverse ideas and evil actions as in any way wrong. He was an intellectually and morally insane sophist who whipped up moral outrage against God and His Law and relished his self-appointed role as His accuser.

According to de Sade's twisted reasoning, all things unnatural, filthy, and vile are entirely justified by evolutionary naturalism, which has freed man from the God of Revelation and His Law.

The real horror of this worldview is its positive declaration of a “new” satanically inverted-morality which we commonly think of as political correctness with its two overriding absolutes: “tolerance” and “inclusion.” Thus today the brazenly perverse claim of  “politically correct”  moral imbeciles to the high ground where they point accusing fingers at Biblical ethics and the faithful Christians and Jews who hold fast to them.

De Sade was the forerunner of all contemporary shock troopers of evil who today demand total freedom for everything except Christian theism and faithful Judaism, a policy now well-entrenched in the American psyche, and as a consequence, in the White House, Congress, Supreme Court, schools, universities, unions, lower courts, city halls, statehouses, Hollywood, the music industry, and even seminaries and pulpits.

In the burned out areas known today as the post-Christian West and America, self-worshipping conscious products of evolution identifying themselves as everything from witches to goddesses, shamans, “gays,” abortionists, earth worshippers, communists, trans-humanists, and international occult "elites" hold the pseudo- moral 'high' ground from whence they demonize decent, law-abiding  men and women as anti-science creationists, haters, heterosexists, homophobes, racists, fascists, and bigots.

Predictably, the day will arrive--- and perhaps more quickly than we realize---when being a faithful Christian or faithful Jew  is to be a criminal.   This will become our 'new' norm because contemporary products of evolution are just now arriving at the more consistent worldview of de Sade and proactively imprinting it upon our culture, with special emphasis upon our children. De Sade’s evil worldview is coming to fullness within Western and American culture. It is a part of our educational system, our laws, politics, courts, the arts, and entertainment.

We cannot stop the evolutionary worldview merely by opposing it. The worldview that justifies evil and demands the right to debase, pollute, depersonalize, kill and enslave must be opposed by its sole antithesis, the God of Revelation, the Creator who called everything into existence ex nihilo and sustains it by the power of His living word.

The modern faith in man-as-god and the supremacy of his base urges must be countered with God Almighty as the Sovereign dispenser of law and grace. The evolutionary worldview is consistently meaningless and suicidal and casts its followers into the void. The gospel of Jesus Christ however, opens up a supernatural worldview that offers ultimate meaning, hope, and purpose.

Fundamentally, there are only two choices before all men: hope or despair, the Kingdom of God or the kingdom of bestial man, eternal life in Paradise or an eternity in outer darkness.

Idolatry and Human Sacrifice

"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness" Romans 1:18

God has revealed Himself and His truth with clarity.  Even apart from the explicit revelations of the Bible beginning with the Genesis account of creation, God has made sufficiently clear some of the principle elements of spiritual truth to all people through creation and conscience (Romans 1:19-20, 2:14-16) so as to leave the entire human race without excuse.(Roman's 1:20) But from the beginning, many have refused to profit by the light they have, and love the darkness rather than the light. All who do not live up to the spiritual truth they possess, who choose to do worse than they know, hold the truth in unrighteousness. They resist and obstruct the truth, rather than let it have free scope.

In the beginning wickedness did not exist said Church Father Athanasius.  It was men who later on began to contrive it and to elaborate it to their own hurt and the hurt of others.

The truth as to evil said Athanasius,

"....is that it originates, and resides, in the perverted choice of the darkened soul" which, "materialized by forgetting God" and engrossed in lower things, "makes them into gods," and thereby "descends into a hopeless depth of delusion and superstition," whereby "they ceased to think that anything existed beyond what is seen, or that anything was good save things temporal and bodily; so turning away and forgetting that she was in the image of the good God, she no longer... sees God the Word after whose likeness she is made; but having departed from herself, imagines and feigns what is not (and then) advancing further in evil, they came to celebrate as gods the elements and the principles of which bodies are composed...." (Against the Heathen, New Advent)

With their understanding sundered from God they fell lower in their ideas and imaginations and "gave the honor due to God first to the heaven and the sun and moon and the stars, thinking them to be not only gods, but also the causes of the other gods lower than themselves."  Advancing still further in evil, "they came to celebrate as gods the elements and the principles of which bodies are composed..."  And then, creeping in the slime like land-snails, the most impious of mankind, "set up as gods men, and the forms of men, some still living, others even after their death (and they even) transferred the divine and supernatural name of God at last even to stones and stocks, and creeping things both of land and water, and irrational wild beasts, awarding to them every divine honor..."

But going even further in their audacity these foolish men mixed "up the rational with the irrational, and combining things unlike in nature, they worship the result as gods, such as the dog-headed and snake-headed and ass-headed gods among the Egyptians, and the ram-headed Ammon among the Libyans."

Still others, straining impiety to the utmost, "have deified the motive of the invention of these things and of their own wickedness, namely, pleasure and lust, and worship them, such as their Eros, and the Aphrodite at Paphos. While some of them, as if vying with them in depravation, have ventured to erect into gods their rulers or even their sons, either out of honor for their princes, or from fear of their tyranny, such as the Cretan Zeus.. and the Arcadian Hermes; and among the Indians Dionysus, among the Egyptians Isis and Osiris and Horus, and in our own time Antinous, favourite of Hadrian, Emperor of the Romans whom, although men know he was a mere man (and) full of licentiousness, yet they worship for fear of him that enjoined it. For Hadrian... ordered (Antinous) to be worshipped; being indeed himself in love with the youth even after his death, but for all that offering... a proof (of the) idolatry... of the lust of them that imagined it."

"According as the wisdom of God testifies beforehand when it says, 'The devising of idols was the beginning of fornication. Wisdom 14:12 .” (Against the Heathen, Athanasius, New Advent)

The Decalogue shows that the beginning of idolatry (preference for self over God) is pride, since a proud man makes an idol out of himself, thereby assuming he possesses honor and rights.  This is why idolatry leads to contempt for truth, law, wisdom, norms, authority, rules and other people in combination with any or all of the following existing within a climate of treachery, deceit and violence: lying, gluttony, greed, cheating, promiscuity, sodomy, pederasty, pedophilia, adultery, theft, and the dehumanization of other people resulting in slavery, population control schemes, abortion, brutality and murder.

The Carthaginians for instance, worshipped Saturn, the Roman name for Cronus, the lord of the titans in Greek mythology.  The Carthaginians, Greeks and Romans had given the honor due God to Saturn, the second largest planet to which they attributed their own self-serving motives. The Syro-Palestinian archeologists Lawrence Stager and Samuel Wolff suggest that:

"Among the social elite of Punic Carthage the institution of child sacrifice may have assisted in the consolidation and maintenance of family wealth. One hardly needed several children parceling up the patrimony into smaller and smaller pieces . . . for the artisans and commoners of Carthage, ritual infanticide could provide a hedge against poverty. For all these participants in this aspect of the cult, then, child sacrifice provided special favors from the gods."  (Stager, L.E. and Wolff, S.R., op. cit., pp. 50,51 from Abortion and the Ancient Practice of Child Sacrifice, Andrew White, MD, 1/5/2012, Associates for Biblical Research)

Dr. White reports that in 1921 the largest cemetery of sacrificed infants in the ancient Near East was discovered at Carthage.  Hundreds of burial urns filled with the cremated bones of infants, mostly newborns but even some children up to age six years old, as well as animals, have been uncovered at Carthage.  All of the sacrificial victims had been burned to death on the altars of idolatrous men and women.

The actual rite of child sacrifice at Carthage has been graphically described by Diodorus Siculus:

"There was in their city a bronze image of Cronus extending its hands, palms up and sloping toward the ground, so that each of the children when placed thereon rolled down and fell into a sort of gaping pit filled with fire." (ibid, Dr. White)

Plutarch, a first and second century A.D. Greek author, adds to the description that:

"...the whole area before the statue was filled with a loud noise of flutes and drums so that the cries of wailing should not reach the ears of the people." (ibid)

The earliest reference to child sacrifice in the Bible is found in Leviticus where the practice is forbidden by Moses in connection with Molech, "the detestable god of the Ammonites" (I Kings 11:7):

"Do not give any of your children to be passed through (the fire) to Molech for you must not profane the name of your God. I am the Lord." (Lev. 18:21; 20:1-5)

Dr. White reveals that the Hebrew word Molech is the same Semitic root as the Punic word mulk which was found inscribed on several burial monuments at Carthage giving linguistic evidence for the continuity between the practice of child sacrifice in Canaan and at Carthage:

"But whereas at Carthage the word refers to the sacrificial offerings including human sacrifice, in Leviticus it refers to the god who demands child sacrifice. The "passing through" refers to sacrificing by burning in a fire. For this "passing through to Molech" (same Hebrew words in Leviticus and Jeremiah) took place later in Israel's history in the region of the high places of Ba'al in the Valley of Ben Hinnom in Jeremiah 32:35."

This murderous scene was described by the Lord through the mouth of Jeremiah in earlier chapters:

"For they have forsaken me and made this a place of foreign gods; they have burned sacrifices in it to gods that neither they nor their fathers nor the kings of Judah ever knew and they have filled this place with the blood of the innocent. They have built me the high places of Ba'al to burn their sons in the fire as offerings to Ba'al -something I did not command or mention, nor did it enter my mind. So beware, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when people will no longer call this place Topheth  or the Valley of ben Hinnom, but the Valley of slaughter. (Jeremiah 19:4-6; 7:31-32)" (ibid, Dr. White)

Moshe Weinfeld, an Old Testament scholar, connects cultic prostitution with child sacrifice in Isaiah and Ezekiel saying,

"The children born of cultic prostitution associated with Molech were presumably delivered to the idolatrous priests, even as the offspring of a regular marriage may have been handed over to Molech." (Dr. White)

Many of the children offered to Molech were conceived illegitimately either by way of adulterous affairs or prostitution, so it seems probable that sacrificing babies to Molech was a convenient way to dispose of the consequences.
By New Testament times idolatry took on a broader meaning.  Commenting on the New Testament authors' understanding of idolatry, Herbert Schlossberg notes that,

"a man can place anyone or anything at the top of his pyramid of values, and that is ultimately what he serves. The ultimacy of that service profoundly affects the way he lives." (Schlossberg, Idols for Destruction, p. 6)

And so Church Father Tertullian sees no difference between the idolatrous Carthaginian practice of child sacrifice and the equally idolatrous Roman practice of infanticide:

"...there is no difference as to baby killing whether you do it as a sacred rite or just because you choose to do it."

No matter how it is rationalized it is still murder, and for followers of Christ,

"murder is once for all forbidden; so even the child in the womb, while yet the mother's blood is still being drawn on to form the human being, it is not lawful to destroy. To forbid birth is only quicker murder. It makes no difference whether one take away the life once born or destroy it as it comes to birth. He is a man, who is to be a man, the fruit is always present in the seed." (Tertullian, Apologeticus IX.- 6, 8)

In Pauline theology idolatry is recognized as any worshipping or serving the creature (i.e., 'self,' nature, cosmos, elements, matter, chemicals, genetic material, or mystical concepts such as natural selection, and evolution) rather than the Creator as this is equivalent to exchanging the truth of God for a lie (Rom. 1:23,25):

"Placing anything above the Creator and His truth is idolatry, for in this idolatry the creature's erroneous value judgments are substituted for the Creator's correct ones. Sadly, people know the truth but suppress it , Rom. 1:18." (Dr. White)

In 1977 British journalist William Rees-Mogg saw that the West had lost its faith, and like a fish out of water or a drowning man was,

"...desperately thrashing around for lack of oxygen.  Since the time of Christ there has been no period in which there has been the same feeling of...spiritual impoverishment."  (from Idols for Destruction, Schlossberg,p. 2)

Thirty-six years later, but for a remnant, Christendom is dead and America's idolatrous, nihilistic post-Christian culture and narcissistic postmodern church are quickly following suit.   While there are as yet many churches, pastors, evangelists, distinguished Christian laypeople and missionaries here in America and around the world proclaiming Christ crucified for the sins of all men and fulfilling their vocations with humility and integrity, the culturally-relevant church of "what's happening now," the contemporary Church consisting of trendy, disaffected Roman and Eastern Orthodox Catholics and 'new' Protestant evangelicals practices a spirituality that is Christian in name only, a spirituality that is trivial, irreverent, self-affirming, fun-loving, irrelevant, and permissive to the point of practicing abortion:

"..the practice of abortion by Christians is spiritual prostitution to an idol, defiles God's sanctuary and profanes His holy name. God alone is the Author of life and it is not the creature's prerogative to question the Creator's wisdom in bringing to life a fellow human being at conception. Whenever men disregard their Creator's wise judgment by destroying His innocent creation, they are serving another god. They are, in fact, spiritually prostituting themselves to the idolatrous self whom they believe is wiser in its value judgments." (Andrew White)

Consequently, our land is being filled with the blood of the innocent, spilled not on the altars of Cronos, Molech and Saturn but in charnel houses run by executioners like Kermit Gosnell.

We are an idolatrous people who hold the truth in unrighteousness, and unless we repent and are cleansed by his merciful forgiveness, the Lord will set His face against this nation. This is what the Lord says:

"Look I am preparing a disaster for you and devising a plan against you. So turn from your evil ways, each one of you, and reform your ways and your actions." (Jeremiah 18:11)

Nihilism: The Unreality of Your Existence

In "Animal Rights/Bioethics/Transhumanism to Converge at Yale," Wesley J. Smith reports that animal rights groups together with mainstream bioethics, and the transhumanist movements are united by the desire to destroy society’s belief in the unique value of human life:

"Animal rightists in order to create moral equality between us and fauna; transhumanists because they are a eugenics movement and believe they have to knock humans off the pedestal of exceptionalism as a predicate to engaging in biological recreationism; and mainstream bioethics would make membership in the human species morally irrelevant to allow the utilitarian exploitation of some of us as a natural resource (among other reasons)." (Smith, nationalreview.com, 4/12/2013)

These allies are coming together in a big conference at Yale in December, co-sponsored by the animal rights group Nonhuman Rights Project, the Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies, the Yale Interdisciplinary Center for Bioethics, and  the Yale Animal Ethics Group.   Smith writes that the event will focus on personhood for nonhumans,

"...including great apes, cetaceans, and elephants, and will explore the evolving notions of personhood by analyzing them through the frameworks of neuroscience, behavioral science, philosophy, ethics, and law....Special consideration will be given to discussions of nonhuman animal personhood...and ways to protect animal interests through the establishment of legal precedents and by increasing public awareness."

A rising tide of anti humanism is pouring out of the academy and radical think tanks like a pyroclastic flow, and if we are not careful,  said Smith,

"...it will destroy the universal human equality backbone of Western Civilization just as surely as Vesuvius did Pompeii."

Although the terms "transhumanism"  "anti-humanism" and "personhood for nonhumans"  seem freakish and of no importance to most people, these movements are politically powerful, both nationally and internationally, as well as  extraordinarily well-funded.

Nor do the majority of people see how these movements actually go back many millennia in history, pre-dating the first Pre-Socratic philosophers and Gnostic cults, and are grounded ultimately in ancient anti-human (nihilist) naturalistic cosmogonies and dogmas dating from 5000 B.C. at least.    All are forms of pagan and mystical pantheist monism that deny man's soul/spirit (the seat of personality), lack an ultimate source for life, and invert and destroy supernatural Christian theism beginning with the Genesis account of creation ex nihilo.

The idea that matter is eternal is a pattern of thought stretching back to the ancient Babylonians, Egyptians, and Greeks in the West and in the East to the Upanishads.

With Greek nature sages such as the Atomists, matter (atoms) is a more or less physical substance that bumps around in a void.  With Upanishads, Prakriti substance (matter) is energy called Universal Mind or Soul.  Either way, matter is not personal. It cannot produce life and  being (soul/spirit), nor can it think, speak, or move.  It is neither male nor female.   As a result, the human soul is not created in the image of anything, making man a walking dead body that somehow speaks.

With great mastery, Ravi Zacharias illustrates this point in his book, "The Lotus and the Cross: Jesus Talks with Buddha."  Through captivating dialogue between Jesus Christ and Buddha we learn that when God the Son and Buddha, the man worshipped as a god, talk about 'self' (soul/spirit, seat of personality) they mean something entirely different.   Jesus loves the soul:

"The essence of the human is not the body, but the soul.  It is the soul alone that God made in his own image and the soul that he loves....For the sake of the soul...the Son of God came into the world...." (Incomplete Work on Matthew, Homily 25, Ancient Christian Devotional, Oden and Crosby, p. 153)

Buddha however, sees man's individual soul as the primary source of suffering:

Jesus to Buddha,   "You seek to solve the problem of suffering, and in order to solve it, you say that the self doesn't exist.....you took God away from them (and) your espousal of an absence of self is the most unique and fearsome claim you made...First, you told them there is no God. Then you told them there is no self.  You also told them there is no one to pray to.  You told them there is no evil one to fear. You told them everything is only within themselves, even though those selves do not exist...You gave them scores of rules to live by (a great debt)....You told them you would cease to be, and, when they have paid (their debt), they will cease to be."    (The Lotus and the Cross: Jesus Talks with Buddha, Ravi Zacharias, pp.59, 60, 67, 70)

Vishal Mangalwadi, India's greatest Christian scholar concurs:

"Six centuries before Jesus Christ, the Buddha already knew that if God does not exist, then the human self cannot exist either......Therefore, he deconstructed the Hindu idea of the soul. When one starts peeling the onion skin of one's psyche, he discovers that there is no solid core at the center of one's being. Your sense of self is an illusion. Reality is nonself (anatman). You don't exist. Liberation, the Buddha taught, is realizing the unreality of your existence." (The Book That Made Your World: How the Bible Created the Soul of Western Civilization, Vishal Mangalwadi, p. 6)

In "The Pagan Temptation," Christian philosopher Thomas Molnar writes that for ancient nature sages in the centuries after Buddha as well as for their contemporary evolutionary monists (i.e., Hegel, Darwin, Blavatsky, Marx, Nietzsche, Teilhard, Joseph Smith and James H. Austin, emeritous professor of neurology at the University of Colorado) the thought that God assumed materiality is as distasteful,

"...as the idea of creation ex nihilo, which meant that matter too was God's creation and did not preexist creation as a separate and evil principle." (pp. 26-27)

In his book, "Zen and the Brain: Toward an Understanding of Meditation and Consciousness" James Austin elaborates an  840-page synthesis of brain research and anti-human  Zen Buddhism that serves as a bridge between Darwin's biological progressivism and the more spiritually oriented evolutionary conceptions of mystical pantheist thinkers such as the Hindu-style alchemist Teilhard de Chardin. (The Making of the New Spirituality: The Eclipse of the Western Religious Tradition, James A. Herrick, p. 141)

While faithful Christians adhere to the Genesis account of creation ex nihilo, the fact that Christ's birth was the result of a miraculous conception, that Mary was a virgin yet still conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 1:18) modern nature sages in company with scientifically enlightened priests over and across the entire denominational spectrum reject creation ex nihilo and by extension the Incarnation and their own soul/spirits---whether wittingly or unwittingly--- in favor of evolutionary conceptions and pre-existing matter.

Dr. Albert Mohler illustrates the growing rejection of creation ex nihilo by evangelicals in "Total Capitulation: The Evangelical Surrender of Truth,"   In this example, Mohler reports that two so-called evangelicals, Karl W. Giberson and Randall J. Stephens,  brazenly accuse faithful evangelicals of “simplistic theology, cultural isolationism, and stubborn anti-intellectualism,” because they refuse to embrace evolution:

" They point specifically to the rejection of evolution, which they call “the rejection of science,” and then refer to this as “textbook evidence of an unyielding ignorance on the part of the religious.” (AlbertMohler.com, October 25, 2011)

Over in the Roman Catholic Church, Teilhard's mystical pantheist alchemy is taught by nuns to children and evolutionary thinking accepted in general:

"....the evolution model states that life forms have changed through the ages; the word "evolve" simply means to change. Two scientists, Charles Darwin and Alfred Russell Wallace, proposed the theory during the 19th century. Darwin amassed a tremendous amount of data, which indicated that many plants and animals that once lived on the Earth had become extinct or had changed through time to become the present-day forms. He described a process of change that he called "natural selection." Although some scientists were at first hesitant to accept Darwin's conclusions, evolution has become a cornerstone of science during the last century.   The view prevailing among most theologians today is that there is no conflict between the evolution model of the origin and development of life and the truths presented in the Book of Genesis...We can say simply, as Christians who learn from science, that God created the universe, which evolves as time goes on." (Evangelization Office, Diocese of Lake Charles, 1991, With Ecclesiastical   Approbation)

Though Wallace was a man of science he also believed in spiritualism because of his first-hand experiences of it.  He rejected Christianity and argued for evolution but of an altogether more enlightened, spiritual kind than Darwin's biological treatment. It was during a fit of fever that Wallace's theory suddenly came to him.   (Spiritualism and Science, Alfred Russell Wallace, SurvivalAfterDeath.org, uk)

As for Darwin's philosophically materialist theory, which he received from his pagan grandfather Erasmus Darwin, Dr.Wolfgang Smith, physicist and mathematics professor at Oregon State University, has identified it as an anti-human Gnostic cosmogony:

"...As a scientific theory, Darwinism would have been jettisoned long ago. The point, however, is that the doctrine of evolution has swept the world, not on the strength of its scientific merits, but precisely in its capacity as a Gnostic myth. It affirms, in effect, that living things created themselves, which is in essence a metaphysical claim....Thus...evolutionism is a metaphysical doctrine decked out in scientific garb....it is a scientistic myth. And the myth is Gnostic, because it implicitly denies the transcendent origin of being; for indeed, only after the living creature has been speculatively reduced to an aggregate of particles does Darwinist transformism become conceivable. Darwinism, therefore, continues the ancient Gnostic practice of deprecating 'God the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth.' It perpetuates...the venerable Gnostic tradition of 'Jehovah bashing.'" (From Old Gnosticism to New Age I, Alan Morrison, SCP Journal Vol. 28:4-29:1, 2005, pp. 30-31)

In his book "Utopia: The Perennial Heresy," Dr. Thomas Molnar (1910-2010) notes that the two recurring themes of modern ideologies, nature religions and systems are monism and evolutionary conceptions. At the root of these two themes there is:

"... defiance of God, pride unlimited, a yearning for enormous power and the assumption of divine attributes with a view to manipulating and shaping mankind's fate."  (p. 227)

"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." Genesis 1:27, KJB

For fifteen hundred years, Christendom and then later Protestant America had followed St. Augustine (AD 354-430) in affirming that as all men are the spiritual image-bearers of the transcendent Triune God then it logically follows that each person is a trinity of being — of soul, spirit, and body.

But for over two hundred years,  ancient anti-human (nihilist) cosmogonies, philosophies and dogmas such as naturalism, monism and alchemy have been working their way through our culture, embedding themselves, often unconsciously, within our psyches, causing us to believe that we are less than nothing.

Nihilism is spiritual, moral, and intellectual suicide, yet for the last two hundred years, Enlightenment humanists — rationalists, materialists, positivists, their modern naturalist counterparts such as occult New Agers and Trans-humanists together with scientifically enlightened priests have been moving the West and America closer and closer to Buddha's denial of the soul.

How did it come to this?   Jesus answers:

"Wherever the worship of the living God has been perverted, it has always been the result of a departure from my Word."   (The Lotus and the Cross, p. 74)

Without exception, every worldview  has a beginning. It must give an account of how the cosmos, life, consciousness and all other things came into being.  The answer determines what follows in the narrative.

The Bible begins with the declaration that “in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth” (Gen. 1:1). The doctrine of creation ex nihilo forms the starting point for our understanding of the cosmos, of who we are, what is wrong with us, and our need of a savior.

The early Fathers regarded Genesis, especially the first three chapters, as Divinely inspired text that tells of actual, historical events and people.  St. Cyril of Alexandria, for example, wrote that Genesis is Divinely inspired and cannot be apprehended rightly without respect for its’ historical meaning:

Those who reject the historical meaning in the God-inspired Scriptures as something obsolete are avoiding the ability to apprehend rightly, according to the proper manner, the things written in them…whenever some historical events are presented to us by the Holy Scriptures (a) useful search into the historical meaning is appropriate, in order that the God-inspired Scripture be revealed as salvific and beneficial to us in every way.” (St. Cyril, “Commentary on the Prophet Isaiah 1,4, PG 70, 192AB)

The Bible rejects the ancient anti-human idea of pre-existing matter, evolutionary change over vast periods of time and all forms of  pagan, mystical pantheist, and polytheist monism, leaving the living, supernatural God of the Bible as the sole explanatory principle of the universe.

On these truths we must take our stand lest we destroy ourselves after the fashion of transhumanists.    By their own choice they are annihilating themselves, thereby serving as a stark and terrible example of the failure of man, not the living God.

Devilish Mind Games: Why the Loveless Forbid Faith and Belief

The idea of God is the keynote of a perverted civilization. It must be destroyed.” (Karl Marx, quoted in Marx and Satan, p. 59).

The living God of Revelation  "..... is the leftists' chief rival," said Peter Hitchens, brother of the now-deceased atheist Christopher Hitchens and author of The Rage against God.

Hitchens goes on to say,

"Christian belief, by subjecting all men to divine authority and by asserting in the words 'My kingdom is not of this world,' that the ideal society does not exist in this life, is the most coherent and potent obstacle to secular utopianism." (p.134)

From Kant to Hegel, Marx, Darwin, Lenin, Freud, Nietzsche, Sartre, Alfred Kinsey, Margaret Sanger, Herbert Marcuse, Saul Alinsky, and America's "death of God” theologians to name but a few, loveless God-haters have been waging war against the God of Revelation since the Renaissance.

Having successfully 'murdered' Him they mean to see to it that He does not return.   This leads us to ask, why do the loveless want there to be no God of Revelation?

One answer comes from Thomas Nagel, professor of philosophy and law at New York University.  Nagel is no friend of Christianity.  In his book The Last Word, he confesses,

"I want atheism to be true and am made uneasy by the fact that some of the most intelligent and well-informed people I know are religious believers.  It isn't just that I don't believe in God...It's that I hope there is no God!  I don't want there to be a God; I don't want the universe to be like that." (Ibid., p. 150)

Nagel goes on to inadvertently confess that he has a Cosmic Authority problem, and states his belief that this same Cosmic Authority problem is not only widespread, but has produced bad science among his fellow unbelievers within the scientific community,

"My guess is that this cosmic authority problem is not a rare condition and that it is responsible for much of the scientism and reductionism of our time.  One of the tendencies it supports is the ludicrous overuse of evolutionary biology to explain everything about life, including everything about the human mind."  (Ibid., p. 150)

In other words, God and man-hating evolutionary biologists have taken it upon themselves to reduce man created in the spiritual image of the transcendent living God to a highly evolved ape...an evolved soulless product of natural forces.   Now, according to God-haters, man's mind--the citadel of his soul--is nothing more than his material brain and his mind’s intellectual powers  the firing of synapses and the interaction of chemicals.

Darwinian reductionism is a sadistic swindle perpetrated against unsuspecting Americans by the loveless, who having rejected Jesus Christ's offer of salvation want no one else to have it either.   All of it, from Darwinism to evolutionary biology and global change is a Big Lie.

The truth is that each man is an embedded soul whose citadel is mind (will, conscience, reason) or spirit.  Scripture uses these two words, spirit and soul, interchangeably.

The spirit is vertically open to the receipt of “heavenly manna” (communication) from our Father in Heaven.   However, because it is spirit it is also open to influence and suggestion from the spiritual dimension....the demonic realm, the intelligent powers behind the haters of God.

Because man has 'will', he is able to believe in and accept by faith or to reject communication from God.   Belief, faith, and/or rejection take place in spirit (mind) and precede thought---both spoken and written----and action.

In the American Dictionary of the English Language of 1828, Noah Webster defines belief and faith,

1. Belief: “…an assent of the mind (spirit) to the truth of a declaration, proposition… distinct from personal knowledge; as the belief of the gospel.”

. Faith: “The assent of the mind to the truth of what is declared by another; in theology, the assent of the mind…to the truth of what God has revealed…”

Note that assent of the spirit always precedes what we “believe" and have "faith” in as true and real. This is true of all people, from Karl Marx, Nietzsche, Popes, priests, pastors and bishops to "gays," evolutionary biologists, Presidents, Prime Ministers, university professors and atheist intellectuals like Thomas Nagel.

The atheist scientist for example, must “believe” in his findings, but more importantly, it is by “faith” that he “believes” that his mind (spirit) is capable not only of 'knowing' but of separating reality from fantasy.

All of this being the case, when during the Enlightenment Western apostates declared the death of God and elevated 'nature' to the supreme position they were immediately faced with irresolvable problems. Of these, three are of primary importance.

The first had to do with the ultimate source of life, and the second with man's embedded soul/spirit, or “being."   If the living Creator of life and man’s being is dead, then there is no source for life and being, making man a nonbeing, a walking dead body that nevertheless speaks, thus the question becomes, “What is man?”

Darwinian naturalism provides no answers as it posits that life emerged from pre-existing lifeless matter, which begs the question, where did the pre-existing matter (watery pond and earth) come from?  Furthermore, lifeless chemicals cannot produce life, and without life that can be 'naturally selected' then evolutionary process has nothing to work on.

The second unresolvable problem emerges from the first.  If the living God is dead and man is a nonbeing, then what can the mindless trousered ape know and how can he account for what he knows?

The answer: he can neither account for his own life nor how he knows anything.

Philosophically, Darwinian naturalism is a species of nihilism (subjectivism/moral relativism) and monism (naturalism), which holds that all that exists is one self- created, self-sufficient nonliving, unknowing substance comprised of matter animated by unseen energies.   The implication of continuous change means that since humanity has evolved from chemicals to lesser then greater biological organisms, the same change process is in play in the area of truth, morals, gender and biblical infallibility. Therefore, all that can be known at present – and forever – is that there is no absolute or fixed certainty in the areas of truth, morality, gender, and the Revealed Word of God.

Additionally, the elevation of lifeless matter and energy to "creator" is worship of nature while the insane notion that man is a nonbeing completely controlled by instincts (genetic and chemical forces) and environment, which is another way of saying unseen directive forces, is the grossest of superstitions.
If love of truth and compassion for other souls (persons) animated the cold, shriveled hearts of the loveless, they would repent of their infernal project, but as it they work around the clock to ensure that since they have chosen hell then all of us must end up there, thus their relentless mind-bending psychological assault, intimidation and projection of false guilt upon those they hate.  Peter Hitchens comments,

"The current intellectual assault on God in Europe and North America is in fact a specific attack on Christianity - the faith that stubbornly persists in the morality, laws, and government of the major Western countries." (The Rage Against God , p. 134)

The essence of the "intellectual assault" is psychological bullying and coercive manipulation.  It takes the form of a two-pronged attack.  One prong consists of guilt-trips, temptations to sin, sugar-coated lies, Big Lies, double-speak, half-truths, evasions, insidiously revised history, propaganda of the lie, and teaching of evolution as factual science.    The other prong consists of a campaign of terroristic intimidation in the forms of relentless browbeating, sadistic ridicule, slander, backstabbing, cruel innuendo, projection of false guilt and persecution of all who prove resistant to the first prong process.

In terms of procedure, men must first be intimidated to accept without question that evolution is a scientific fact and that man is a loathsome product of time plus change. They must blindly accept that they are nothing more than evolved apes and that anyone who disbelieves this canon of superstitious nonsense is a stupid redneck bible-thumper.

Second, human apes must be conditioned to speak in terms such as “it seems to me,” “it appears to me,” "I feel" "and “suddenly I realized” rather than “I believe” “I think” “my faith is in,” and “it is my belief.”    Why? Because the former terms are abstract enough to imply “something caused” in the brain by chemical interactions while the latter specifically point to “assent of spirit.”   And man must never, ever be reminded that he has a soul/spirit within which assent of mind occurs. Therefore, words such as belief and faith are verboten...forbidden.

Hitchens tells us that the ultimate and only defense against infernal God-haters and their worship of human power, their moral relativism, and the notion that ends justify means is a return to  fundamental Biblical doctrines and teachings such as:

"…sin…conscience…eternal life, and…divine justice under an unalterable law…" (Ibid. p. 135)

In other words, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, signaling a return to sanity....of life, of soul/spirit and of the light of truth and righteousness.

Gnosis: the Main Expression of Secular Pagan Religion in the New Age

In the essay, "The Paganization of Biblical Studies," Dr. Peter Jones, Professor of New Testament at Westminster Seminary in Escondido, Calif., identifies liberalism and/or progressivism as a form of neo-Gnostic paganism, or mystical pantheism.

Though Gnosticism emerged in ancient Babylon during the Jewish exile and eventually developed a 'Christian' variant, neo-Gnostic 'Christianity' first developed in 19th century Germany.  Its first real manifestation was at the University in Tubingen where an apostate Christian theologian named Ferdinand Baur (1792-1860) had formed a school of theology which would raise questions about the Christian faith, a tactic designed to undermine its status as the fount of truth and moral law through destructive criticism.  Among areas which came under attack were the person of Jesus Christ, the Genesis account of creation ex nihilo, the fall and nature of sin, the authority of the Bible, the way of spiritual salvation, apostolic tradition and Church doctrine.

By far the most heretical and destructive incursion into divine truth was the neo-Gnostic assertion of the immanence of God at the expense of His transcendence (separateness from His creation) so that the personal Creator becomes an impersonal expression of an evolving cosmic process.

Neo-Gnostic 'Christianity' has absorbed and radically reinvented and inverted the Bible,  thus Peter Jones describes the essence of liberalism throughout its history as the importation,

"...into the church via the use of Christian terminology...the various historic expressions of pagan notions, in particular, the denial of God's transcendence.   In this sense, the first "liberals" were the Gnostics.  Certainly a form of Gnosticism, sometimes called proto-Gnosticism is behind the denial of the incarnation in the Johannine epistles, and of the resurrection in the early and later Paulines.   Interestingly, the Liberals of the modern period have had a great admiration for the proto-Gnostics, in particular, Marcion.  In A.D. 150, Marcion, a theologian from Pontus in Asia Minor, was excommunicated from the Church in Rome for heretical teaching.  He dismissed God the Creator, the Old Testament, the Mosaic law, and three of the gospels. From the few epistles of Paul that he accepted, he expunged Old Testament quotations and claimed to worship the "alien god" behind the God of Scripture." (Dr. Peter Jones, 2007, truthxchange.com)

Dave Doveton, Canon theologian and Director of the Training Centre for Ministries and Community in the Anglican Diocese of Mauritius holds that the Gnostic temptation is at the root of every Christian error and heresy:

"In gnosis everything is the intellectual self-production of the individual."  Gnosis is the pretension of a self-redemption of man "who does not need the intervention of the Other of (One) on High, that is the intervention of God." (The Episcopal Church: the Way of Baalam, Dave Doveton...False Teachers and the re-appearance of ancient Gnostic beliefs, reviewed by David W. Virtue, virtueonline.org, March 28, 2011)

In "The Pagan Temptation," the Catholic philosopher and historian, Thomas Molnar (1921–2010), writes that the gnostic pagan temptation is never very far from a civilization organized by the Christian religion because  what paganism and the occult promise is self-created, deified humanity whose soul is "no longer touched by God." (The Pagan Temptation, p. 3)

The atheist claims there is no living God "up above" (in the third heaven) and that matter or energy in motion is all there is.  This view, however, has already been eclipsed by the thinking of neo-Gnostic mystical pantheists such as Hartford Seminary professor of liturgy worship and spirituality, Miriam Therese Winter.  Winter teaches:

"Our Mother who is within us we celebrate your many names. Your wisdom come. Your will be done, unfolding from the depths within us..."  (ibid, Dave Doveton, virtueonline.org)

Thomas Molnar writes that the idea that "Our Mother who is within us" or perhaps a "divine spark" within us or maybe "world spirit," "One Spirit," "spirit of the age," "Spirit" "Christ consciousness," "deepest self," "Universal Mind," or "divine essence" is the spontaneous bent,

"...of the archaic mind which predominated in most parts of the world and which threatens to prevail once more in our time the temptation. to identify God and self, to recognize in the soul a divine substance, indeed the seat of divinity." ("The Gnostic Tradition and Renaissance Occultism," Thomas Molnar, The Journal of Christian Reconstruction, Vol.1, No.2, 112, 1974)

Now that the supernatural Triune God "up above" is dead in the hearts of millions of Westerners, man's mandate in the gnostic-pagan process of conscious evolution depends upon the initiative of man, said the mystical pantheist heretic Teilhard de Chardin.  Christians should not fear the process of evolution because it only brings them inexorably into "oneness" or "convergence" with the impersonal, omni-gendered divine substance, Monad, Spirit or Universal Mind:

"Though frightened for a moment by evolution, the Christian now perceives that what it offers him is nothing but a magnificent means of feeling more at one with God...In a spiritually converging world, the "Christic" energy acquires an urgency and intensity of another order altogether." (Genesis, Creation, and Early Man, Fr. Seraphim Rose, p. 590)

Dave Doveton says the Gnostic pagan tendency places gnosis and/or inner knowing---intellectual pride, personal feelings and mystical experience---above clear scriptural teaching, and this tendency is behind the decisions of the Episcopal Church  to permit the 'blessing' of same sex unions.    In other words, said Doveton, gnosis can overturn the,

"....pervasive, absolute and strong biblical prohibition of same-gender sexual relations which has been interpreted as such and upheld by the church for two millennia..." (ibid, virtueonline.org

The Gnostic paganization of Biblical studies can be summarized thusly:

1. The Gnostic doctrine of the migration and/or evolutionary progress of the soul results in spiritual elitism

2. Gnostic influence reduces faith to inner knowing and feelings

3. The Gnostic idea of salvation is similar to forms of Hinduism and Buddhism calling for absorption into the One Substance

4. Gnostics believe that man's problem is not sin but ignorance

5. For the Gnostic, the problem is not 'original sin' but the captivity of divine spirit in the material body

6. For Katherine Jefferts Schori, 26th Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church of the United States, Jesus, or Teilhard's 'Christus energy," is not the Incarnate Word but the route to the impersonal God for Christians.

7. Since evolution implies continuous change, becoming, and/or progress, Gnostic pagans claim that there is nothing immutable about the authority of Holy Scripture.   Holy Scripture and by extension the traditional church are subject to change because everything is infused with impersonal divine spirit in continuous process of change, therefore Holy Scripture, truth, moral law and tradition live and evolve and  must in fact be changed as their purpose is to express the inner knowing and feelings of each new generation.

8. Because feelings and inner knowing are 'divine' Gnosticism is bound up with victimhood.  This enables anyone with hurt feelings or gnosis to both claim the high moral ground and invent various 'identities' which demand not only special privileges (i.e., 'gay' marriage) and protection (i.e., safe spaces, hate crime laws, speech codes) but immunity from critique.

9.Gnostics regard "consciousness" - individual (state of mind) and collective social as of primary importance.   This mystical pantheist notion is expressed repeatedly in Gnostic pagan writings  in terms such as "immanence", "consciousness raising," the "world spirit", "the One Spirit," "the spirit of the age," "the Spirit" "oneness" "Christ consciousness" "we are the world" "collective consciousness" and other like terms.  Since this "spirit" is always evolving and changing with the dominant ideas of the age not only must religion change but behavior, no matter how criminal, decadent, rebellious, and obscene is of secondary importance.

10. For many churchmen in the Episcopal Church sin is not a breach of right behavior but rather, "sin lies not in the specific actions but in the context and intention with which it is performed and received."

When Atlanta pastor Louie Giglio was effectively disinvited from delivering an inaugural prayer at President Obama's second inauguration and was replaced by 'gay affirming' Rev. Dr. Luis Leon, Dr. Albert Mohler noted that America has begun a new chapter in its downward spiraling moral revolution.

From now on said Mohler,  if you believe in and teach God's Revelation and Christian truth you will be required to offer public repentance and evidence of having 'evolved' on the issue in question:

"This is what is now openly demanded of Christians today. If you want to avoid being thrown off the program, you had better learn to evolve fast, and repent in public." (The Giglio Imbroglio---the Public Inauguration of a New Moral McCarthyism, Albert Mohler, Jan. 10, 2013, AlbertMohler.com)

Dr. Peter Jones warns that we are in the presence of a powerful pagan/Gnostic theological agenda, claiming to be spanking new, objective, scientific, and Christian but is in fact both Godless and as old as the hills:

"It is my belief that this trend in biblical studies is part of the setting in place of a pagan reconstruction of human culture for the planetary era.  Gnosis in one form or another is expected to become the main expression of secular religion in the new millennium. In order to equip the Church for this new age, the scientific study of Gnosticism is vital." (The Paganization of Biblical Studies, Peter Jones)

Unconscious Satanism Transforming America's Christian Denominations

"R.C. Sproul, Jr. (himself an Evangelical) said that an Evangelical is a Fundamentalist who wants the respect of Modernists, and sells his soul to get it. Some wags would say that Evangelicals are better at selling souls than saving souls. Sproul added, “We evangelicals are they who cut this deal with the Modernists, ‘We will call you brother, if you will call us scholar.’” Ah, yes, “scholar.” That is the driving desire of most Evangelicals–intellectual respectability." (Biblical Christians Will Never Fit into Polite Society! Don Boys, Ph.D, donboys.cstnews.com)

Modernism: the Synthesis of All Heresies

Modernism and/or liberalism first developed in 19th century Germany.  Its first real manifestation was at the University in Tubingen where a lapsed Christian theologian named Ferdinand Baur (1792-1860) had formed a school of theology which would raise questions about the Christian faith, a tactic designed to undermine its status as the fount of truth and moral law through destructive criticism.  Among areas which came under attack were the person of Jesus Christ, the Genesis account, the fall and nature of sin, the authority of the Bible, the way of spiritual salvation, apostolic tradition and Church doctrine.

But by far the most heretical and destructive incursion into divine truth was the modernist assertion of the immanence of God at the expense of His transcendence (separateness from His creation) so that the Creator becomes an expression of an evolving cosmic process.  J. Gresham Machen understood that immanence by any definition is pantheism:

"The truth is that liberalism has lost sight of the very center and core of the Christian teaching. (The) one attribute of God (that) is absolutely fundamental in the Bible...is the awful transcendence of God.  From beginning to end the Bible is concerned to set forth the awful gulf that separates the creature from the Creator...Between the creature and the Creator a great gulf is fixed."  (Christianity and Liberalism, Machen, 1923, pp. 62-63)

The concept of immanence owes much to the philosophy of the occult pantheist Georg Hegel (1770-1831).  Hegel and Friedrich Schelling (1775-1854) were the first major apostate Christian philosophers in the West to propound a philosophy of spiritual evolution (Hegel's dialectic).  This was many years before Karl Marx de-spiritualized Hegel's philosophy to produce dialectical materialism and Charles Darwin published his biological theory.

Hegel is an important link between modernism and ancient Gnosticism.  According to Professor Kurt Rudolph, Hegel, Jakob Boehme (1575-1624), Friedrich Schelling (1775-1854), and Friedrich Schleiermacher (1768-1854) were the philosophical heirs of ancient Gnosticism.  (Gnosis: The Nature and History of Gnosticism, Rudolph, p. 368, in From Old Gnosticism to New Age," Alan Morrison)

Mircea Eliade concurs with Rudoph's conclusions.  Eliade claims that Hegel's early writings were strongly influenced by Christoph Oetinger (1702-1782), the gnostic Kabbalist and disciple of Jakob Boehme and Emanuel Swedenborg (1688-1722).

In his book, "Scientific Mythologies," James A. Herrick traces the contemporary 'aliens from outer-space' idea back to certain Renaissance astrologers, occultists, and mystics such as Emanuel Swedenborg (1688-1772) who claimed to not only receive telepathic secrets from spirits but to have visited populated planets during out-of-body experiences.

Swedenborg's influence is far-reaching.  From Kant to the occult theosophist Madame Blavatsky and points in between and on into our own time to psychologist J.B. Rhine, a vast array of science fiction writers (i.e., Clarke, H.G. Wells, Ray Bradbury, Steven Spielberg) and numerous modern evolutionary scientists including Francis Crick and Richard Dawkins.

In a historical analysis of mystery religions, secret orders and Gnosticism entitled, "From Old Gnosticism to New Age," researcher Alan Morrison writes:

"This period also marked the appearance of the sister discipline of theological liberalism, "higher criticism," which questioned the authorship and dating of individual books of the Bible...Such unsanctified exploration naturally led to an enquiry into the identity of the historical Jesus---typified in the anti-supernaturalistic book, "The Life of Jesus," written in 1835 by Baur's pupil, D.F. Strauss (1808-1874)" (Morrison, SCP Journal, Vol. 28:4-29:1, 2005, pp. 33-34)

Modernists eagerly embraced Hegel's dialectic and then later Darwin's biological variant and Teilhard's idea, which posited the emergence of an immanent god out of matter that had been evolving for vast periods of time.  Evolution dovetailed neatly with theological moderns who had already posited evolutionary development of religion throughout the millennia based on Hegel's idea.  When Darwin published his biological version mid-century, apostate moderns were more than ready to jettison Biblical teaching:

"We death-of-God theologians, along with many others today, accept without reservation the relativistic intellectual and spiritual climate of our time...We have given up believing that there is something about Christians that makes our views inevitable or necessary or (by definition) better than alternatives.  We merely represent one of the possible intellectual options today."   (ibid, Rev. William Hamilton, Playboy, Aug, 1966, p. 84)

This way of thinking is held by a great many liberalized "Christian" theologians, archbishops, ministers, reverends, priests and pastors of the church today.

By the turn of the century,  the beginnings of a  counter-tradition hierarchy of modern Godless theologians, many with backgrounds in Theosophy and spiritism, had arisen and were assaulting and destroying the Church from within.

In 1907 Pope Pius X noted with alarm that modernist "thinking" was taking hold of the contemporary mind, and in that way taking possession of Western civilization, including Catholic laity and priests.   The Pope identified  "Modernism" and its primary doctrine evolution a synthesis of all heresies in the encyclical Pascendi Dominici Gregis.

The Pope noted that  Modernist heretics were claiming that Christ is in us (Gnostic divine spark together with mystical pantheist monism) and that through evolution an immanentist Christ-force progressed and/or "emanated from nature spontaneously and of itself," a distinctly Gnostic concept that presupposes either eternally existing or spontaneously generated matter.

Since evolution implies continuous change, becoming, and/or progress, apostates claim that immutable (unchanging) truth and moral laws do not exist, therefore there is nothing immutable in the Bible or the Church.   All are relative, that is, subject to change because everything is infused with impersonal divine spirit (animism) in continuous process of change, therefore truth, tradition, religion and dogma live and evolve and "must in fact be changed" as their purpose is to express the religious feelings of each new generation.

Hence, a fundamental idea for Modernism is "consciousness" - individual and social.  This mystical pantheist notion is expressed repeatedly in modernist writings  in terms such as "immanence", "consciousness raising," the "world spirit", "the One Spirit," "the spirit of the age," "oneness" "Christ consciousness" "we are the world" and other like terms.  Since this "spirit" is always evolving and changing with the dominant ideas of the age religion must change, it must become modern and/or contemporary.  If religion doesn't change as the One Spirit changes it is worse than useless. Thus the Modernist anti-tradition agenda of change, of going forward, becoming contemporary, of constantly changing. (The Heresy of John Paul II, the Aquinas Site, sedevacantist.com)

Progress or change also refers to reincarnation. Modernism replaces resurrection with reincarnation, as the respected traditionalist metaphysician Rene Guenon (1886-1951) reveals in his highly acclaimed critical analysis of modernist Theosophy and Spiritism entitled, "The Spiritist Fallacy."

Guenon writes that in early Theosophist and spiritist circles use of the word 'progress' or 'progressivist' preceded the use of the word 'evolution.'  The roots of Theosophy, hence of evolution, stretch back to the ancient Upanishads of India and to ancient Greece, and in its modern version, progress and/or evolution describes the progress (transmigration/reincarnation) of soul  as it inhabits in succession the bodies of different beings over the course of thousands  or even  millions and billions of years.

Eventually the word evolution became preferred, especially by empirical realists and materialists like Karl Marx because it had a more 'scientific' allure:

"This kind of  'verbalism'...provides the illusion of thought for those incapable of really thinking..."  wrote Guenon. (ibid, p. 231)

Guenon defines progress, progressivism, evolution and their derivatives as satanic and adherents as unconscious Satanists because for the most part their hubris and ignorance blind them to the extreme dangers of the "infernal fire" they play with:

"..every theory that notably disfigures the Divinity should in some measure be regarded as satanic; and conceptions of a limited God and of a God who evolves should here be placed in the front rank...."   Thus "evolutionism" in general and Modernist "conceptions" in particular are satanic.  The 'immanentist' Christ-force of the Liberal Church is satanic because it "openly submits the Divinity to becoming."   (ibid, p. 257)

In many ways, the spirit of Modernism has infected Roman and Eastern Orthodox Catholicism as well as Evangelicalism.  In his book, "New Evangelicalism: the New World Order," Paul Smith writes that New Evangelicalism (i.e., Purpose Driven Church) has the anti-tradition objective of change, of transformation, of becoming,

"....postmodern and seeker friendly in order to better communicate with the postmodern homogenous groups.  Accommodation became the oil that lubricated the process." (p. 110)

Since socialism (healing of the world; mystical pantheist oneness) is Modernism's evangelism it rejects the sinfulness of man and individual spiritual salvation in favor of feel-good therapeutic models and good deeds:

"The Purpose Driven model ushers in a new reformation based on behavior rather than beliefs; deeds rather than creeds; and what the church does rather than what the church believes." (Smith, p. 111)

The spirit of New Evangelicalism wages war against every manifestation of the traditional church from hymnals to rules and reverence for God's House.  New Evangelical Rick Warren views traditionalists as pillars holding up progress, thus they must be driven off.  Paul Smith comments:

"The new evangelical seminary trains men and women to take a traditional church and mold it into a postmodern accommodating mindset that will reach a postmodern culture." (Smith, p. 128)

Smith sees that New Evangelicalism is preparing Christians for what is in process of being birthed---a New World Order.    Agenda 21 describes the coming order in exoteric political and environmental terms.  Esoterically  it is occult mystical pantheism necessitating a "profound reorientation of all humans," meaning a conversion of souls away from the worship of the transcendent living God and toward worship of the One Spirit.   A counter-conversion of souls is the goal of the spirit of change:

Agenda 21 proposes an array of actions which are intended to be implemented by every person on Earth…it calls for specific changes in the activities of all people… Effective execution of Agenda 21 will require a profound reorientation of all humans, unlike anything the world has ever experienced… ” Agenda 21: The Earth Summit Strategy to Save Our Planet (Earthpress, 1993).

The Spirit of Change

"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and power, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places."      Ephesians 6:12

The average Christian today appears either apathetic or blind to the ominous changes around them, let alone what they portend:

"...the very idea of tradition has been destroyed to such an extent that those who seek to recover it no longer know which way to turn, and are only too ready to accept all the false ideas presented to them in its place and under its name."  (Rene Guenon, False Dawn, p. 436)

A vast dark wing covers the West.  Within its' shadow America implodes as the Church fractures and radically transforms as it merges into the broad path that leads to destruction.  A vigorous shaking and threshing is going on.  Something is happening that "we as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ should see and understand," warns Dr. Albert Mohler:

""People no longer know what they have lost, much less that they themselves are lost....The landscape is changing, the skies are darkening — and this is something we know with a... spiritual sense, a spiritual urgency."  (Albert Mohler, The Disappearance of God, p. 158)

Extraterrestrials: Evolved Space Beings or the 'Watchers'?

In 2012 a Reason Rally was held on the National Mall in Washington, D.C..    Advertised as "the world's largest secular event," it drew more than 20,000 militant non-believers attracted by big name anti-religion 'preachers' Adam Savage, co-host of the Discovery Channel's Mythbusters, and the world-renowned Oxford Professor Richard Dawkins.("How could anyone really rally against reason? Fearnow & Woods, theatlantic.com, Mar 25 2012)

Figuring prominently among  Dawkins more profoundly inane preachments is this gem:

"How could anyone really rally against reason? Conversely, how could anyone have a rally for reason?" (ibid)

If Dawkins was honest, he would not have asked how anyone could rally against reason but rather, how is it possible for a foolish pagan like himself to reason at all when from within the constraints of his own evolutionary materialist worldview he is unable to account for his own life and mind?

Richard Dawkins worldview is completely godless and soulless, and as Hans Jonas said in his epic work, "The Gnostic Religion," it represents the “absolute vacuum, the really bottomless pit.” (Jonas, p. 339)

Dawkins gnosis, his secret knowledge, is that he really does know that for the evolved human-ape there is nothing— no source for life and no source for mind and reason.   So while out of one side of his mouth he calls upon his mindless adoring fans to harshly ridicule believers, out of the other he quietly confessed to the Archbishop of Canterbury not too long before the Reason Rally that he’s,

"....not actually an atheist, but an agnostic. Unlike his adoring crowd at the  Reason Rally, he’s not really a full-fledge non-believer." (Ridicule them with contempt, Dr.Benjamin Wiker, tothesource.org, March 29, 2012)

In his own words, Dawkins is an agnostic because:

"I cannot know for certain [that God does not exist] but I think God is very  improbable, and I live my life on the assumption that he is not there." (The God Delusion, 2006).

Why the grand deception?  Because as Dawkins has admitted in his candid moments,

"...the possibility that lifeless chemicals  could combine by mere chance to make the first living, functional cell, even by  being built up in some imagined step-by-step accidental way, is astronomically  small. It would be, in effect, a kind of miracle."  Dawkins needs just this kind  of miracle said Wiker, " ...so that he can eliminate the need for God as a guiding creator to  explain the mysterious origin of life." (ibid, Wiker)

In modern "scientific" terms, the idea that life miraculously emerged over time by chance from spontaneously generated lifeless chemicals is abiogenesis.  On the basis of this completely foolish conception, evolutionary naturalists (materialists) assert that the personal Triune God, souls, spirits, angels, demons, heaven and hell do not exist.

But lifeless chemicals cannot and will not produce life no matter how often and in what combination modern alchemists mix them in the vain hope that life will emerge from nonlife.  And this is the conclusion reached by philosopher Thomas Nagel in his book, "Mind and Cosmos: Why the Materialist Neo-Darwinian Conception of Nature Is Almost Certainly  False:"

It is prima facie highly implausible that life as we know it is the result of a sequence of physical accidents together with the mechanism of natural  selection....giving what is known  about the chemical basis of biology and genetics, what is the likelihood that self-reproducing life forms should have come into existence spontaneously on the early earth, solely  through the operation of the laws of physics and chemistry? (and given this improbability, what are) the sources of variation in the evolutionary process that was set in motion once life  began.."  (A Different Way of Thinking---Thomas Nagel Considers the Mind, by Warren Nunn, creation.com,  28 March 2013)

Nagel admits that his change in thinking was inspired by the defenders of intelligent design:

In thinking about these questions I have been stimulated by criticisms of the prevailing scientific world picture from a very different direction: the attack on Darwinism  mounted in recent years … by the defenders of intelligent design.   Even though writers like Michael Behe and Stephen Meyer are motivated at least in part by their religious  beliefs, the empirical arguments they offer against the likelihood that the origin of life and its evolutionary history can be fully explained by physics and chemistry are of  great interest in themselves. … Even if one is not drawn to the alternative of an explanation by the actions of a designer, the problems that these iconoclasts pose for  the orthodox scientific consensus should be taken seriously. They do not deserve the scorn with which they are commonly met. It is manifestly unfair.”

Unlike Dawkins and other hard-core naturalists, Nagel is willing to at least hear the claims of intelligent design proponents even though his hostility to young earth (i.e. biblical) creation is  obvious:

ID is very different from creation science. To an outsider, at least, it does not seem to depend on massive distortion of the evidence and hopeless incoherencies in its  interpretation. Nor does it depend, like biblical literalism, on the assumption that the truth of ID is immune to empirical evidence to the  contrary."

Nagel is not alone in questioning abiogenesis.  The idea that life arose from lifeless chemicals is such an obvious embarrassment that today naturalists such as Richard Dawkins, SETI researcher Paul Davies and Francis Crick, co-discoverer of the DNA molecule, have abandoned it in favor of panspermia.

Panspermia is the idea that life on earth was accidentally seeded by meteorites miraculously containing the essential building blocks of life or perhaps by highly evolved extraterrestrials who for billions of years have been guiding the evolution of man.   The extraterrestrial idea was favored by Arthur C. Clarke in his book, "Childhood's End" and a variation on this theme has been advanced by Davies, Crick, Ralph Pudritz of McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, and Richard Dawkins who in an interview with Ben Stein posited that long ago extraterrestrials seeded life on earth. (Ben Stein interview:   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GlZtEjtlirc  )

Davies has written seriously about the possibility of "alien bioengineering" that could be detected in the DNA of life on earth and suggests that citizen scientists and school students be enlisted to help search for evidence. (An Alien Code Close to Home: Seeking ET Beyond the Radio Silence, Astrobiology Magazine, Jeremy Hsu, 10/27/2011)

Though unable to account for life Pudritz nevertheless theorizes that humans and aliens may share the same DNA which itself could be part of a universal structure "of the first genetic codes anywhere...." (Why Aliens Might Look Like You, Eddie Wren, dailymail.co.uk/ June 11, 2012)

Francis Crick proposes a theory called "directed panspermia," the idea that,

"...life on earth may have begun when aliens from another planet sent a rocket ship containing spores to seed the earth."

He admits however that his theory only pushes the unresolvable problem of the origin of life out into deep space:

"This scenario still leaves open the question of who designed the designer [aliens] — how did life originally originate?"   (Crick, Life Itself: Its Origin and Nature, 1981)

As Hans Jonas has made clear, the modern neo-Gnostic evolutionary naturalist worldview is completely godless and soulless, thus it represents the “absolute vacuum, the really bottomless pit.”   Lacking an ultimate source for life and being, it is entirely irrational.

Yet what is even more irrational is for Dawkins, Crick, and other naturalists to embrace the myth of extraterrestrials in a further attempt at evading the living God.

In his book, "Scientific Mythologies," James A. Herrick traces the 'aliens from outer-space' idea back to certain Renaissance astrologers, occultists, and mystics such as Emanuel Swedenborg (1688-1772) who claimed to not only receive telepathic secrets from spirits but to have visited populated planets during out-of-body experiences.

Swedenborg's influence is far-reaching.  From Kant to the occult theosophist Madame Blavatsky and points in between and on into our own time to psychologist J.B. Rhine, a vast array of science fiction writers (i.e., Clarke, H.G. Wells, Ray Bradbury, Steven Spielberg) and numerous evolutionary scientists.

Over time, Swedenborg's astral plane 'space travels' gave birth to what Herrick dubs "The Myth of the Extraterrestrial."  As far back as the seventeenth century science fiction writers were imagining "the intelligent extraterrestrial visitor" and preparing the public to accept their existence.   And accept them they have, for the twentieth century has witnessed a veritable population explosion in the alien domain, said Herrick.  (p. 43)

After many years of investigation, modern UFO researcher John Keel is convinced that UFOs,

"....do not seem to exist as tangible, manufactured objects.  They do not conform to the accepted natural laws of our environment...The UFO manifestations seem to be...merely minor variations of the age-old demonological phenomenon." (Unholy Spirits, Gary North, p. 291)

French physicist and UFO researcher Dr. Jacques Vallee concludes that something strange is happening to human consciousness that is causing a major shift in man's belief systems and his relationship to the concept of the invisible.  Vallee believes that the same "powerful force' (demonological phenomenon) that influenced the human race in the past is influencing it again:

".....human belief...is being controlled and conditioned, man's concepts are being rearranged, and we may be headed toward a massive change of human attitudes toward paranormal abilities and extraterrestrial life."  (Orthodoxy and the Religion of the Future, Fr. Seraphim Rose, p. 109)

In light of this, Vallee proposes the hypothesis that there is a control system,

"... for human consciousness...I am suggesting that what takes place through close encounters with UFOs is control of human beliefs, control of the relationship between our consciousness and physical reality, and that this control has been in force throughout history...." (Alien Intrusion: UFOs and the Evolution Connection, Gary Bates, p. 158)

In occult terminology, transformation of consciousness egregore, a concept representing a "thought form" (i.e., Richard Dawkins' memes) or "collective group mind," resulting from a psychic entity (demons) influencing the thoughts of a group of people.   However, egregore derives from the Greek word for "watchers," leading the French occult magician Eliphas Levi (1810-1875) to identify egregore with the fallen angel 'fathers' of the nephilim.

In Christian language, transformation of consciousness means "demonic outpouring.'  Vallee's "powerful force" is a new demonic outpouring loosed upon unbelieving, unrepentant mankind.  In this light it becomes clear just how dangerously irrational are Dawkins and all who seek to evade God by looking to 'extraterrestrials.'

Sex slaves, sexual anarchy and decadence festivals: ominous signs of something really rotten

Christian News writer Heather Clark reports that a group of nine men who attended the Southern Decadence Festival in New Orleans were arrested and jailed for violating a new city ordinance that prohibits religious and other free speech after sundown on the city's famed Bourbon Street. The ordinance, which was passed in October 2011, is called "Aggressive Solicitation." Subsection four states,

"It shall be prohibited for any person or group of persons to loiter or congregate on Bourbon Street for the purpose of disseminating any social, political or religious message between the hours of sunset and sunrise." (Nine Men Arrested at New Orleans 'Decadence' Festival for Religious Speech After Sundown, Heather Clark, Christian News, Sept.2, 2012)

Dissenters hold that the statute is a blatant violation of the First Amendment to the United States Constitution but "enlightened" progressive supporters hold that decadence is a First Amendment right.

The Southern Decadence Festival is one of our nation's most notorious celebrations of sodomy, public sex acts, prostitution, drunkenness, and worse, but is by no means the only such festival. According to this year's Autumn Gay Pride Calendar, decadence festivals are held over and across post-Christian America and Western Europe as well as in Canada, Hong Kong, Australia, Thailand, Brazil, Belarus, Ireland, Japan, Scotland, China, S. Africa, India and Taipei. (source: http://gaytravel.about.com/od/gaypridecalendars/qt/September_Pride.htm )

The decent, God-fearing, family loving America poignantly captured on canvas by Norman Rockwell is dead, or nearly so. In its place is ancient Carthage, a brash, devil-worshipping, pleasure-seeking, drunken, obscenely libidinous freak-show:

"I came to Carthage, and all around me in my ears were the sizzling and frying of unholy loves..." (St. Augustine, 354 AD, The Confessions of St Augustine)

Ancient Carthage was a porn-fueled, sexually obsessed, almost anything goes society characterized by rampant sexually transmitted diseases, jealousy, suspicion, paranoia, hate, mental illness, sexual sadism, murder and crime in general.

Foolish, proud, willfully ignorant modern Western progressives believe they are enlightened, forward-looking and scientific but they aren't. In reality they haven't progressed one inch higher than the ancients.

Contrary to what moderns believe, the first sexual revolution was not in the 60's and 70's. No, the first revolution ever was brought about first by Judaism and then by Christianity, and as Dennis Prager noted, it radically changed the world.

Writing in "Judaism's Sexual Revolution: Why Judaism And Then Christianity Rejected Homosexuality," Prager said,

'.....Human sexuality, especially male sexuality.....is utterly wild. Men have had sex with women.....men....little girls and young boys....a single partner...large groups....immediate family members...animals....inanimate objects....by dressing in women's garments.....through urinating and defecating on each other....by watching other humans be tortured.....by fondling children....by looking at pictures of bodies or parts of bodies. Not all have been condoned.....but many have, and all illustrate what the unchannelled sex drive can lead to."

Human sexuality needs to be properly channeled. Proper channeling leads to civility, safety, trust, and true social progress. But when the sex genie is unleashed, as is the situation throughout America and the West, things begin to go terribly wrong, as evidenced by the growing plague of public sex acts, serial killers, rapists, sado-masochists (leather people), pederasts, pedophiles and other predators preying upon Americans and their children. America has sunk so low that even young children sexually prey on other children. In fact, sex crimes are more frequent and more evil than ever.

In a 2003 book, "Sex Related Homicide And Death Investigation," Vernon Geberth, (ret. NYPD lieutenant commander Bronx Homicide) observed that,

"....sex related cases I am encountering today (as a consultant) are more frequent, vicious, and despicable than I ever experienced as a homicide cop.....There are more serial killers today....."

Geberth provides an example of a typical sexual sadist. In his own words the sadist recounts his arrival in Denver:

"When I got to Denver there were a lot of sex shops....I found bondage magazines and videos....of women and young girls tied, bound, and gagged in just about every way possible. I was in heaven. I bought lots of magazines and videos. After a year or so......I wanted the real thing......I didn't want a willing partner (though).....I began to walk the streets.......looking for the right woman or girl....." (pp. 44-45)

And then there's this:

"......the suspect......was a fetish burglar......(he) acted out his most perverse fantasies with her body.....(the) suspect made....1-900 sex-line phone calls....day and night from the victim's residence........he brought porn magazines into the scene.........he engaged in sadistic sexual activities with the victim's body." (pp. 16-17)

Geberth recounts case after brutally horrible case wherein the most unspeakable evils are perpetrated upon women, boys, and girls before their lives are snuffed out as if of no further importance.

In an address, "Pornography, Depicted Violence, And Crime," given by Richard M. Reade, Prosecutor, State of Victoria (Aus.) on Mar. 16, 1991, Reade said,

"In my opinion...... the serious problem our community faces (is) a result of porn.....made freely available..." (The Link Between Pornography and Violent Crimes, Robert Peters, Free Republic, Mar. 2004)

Reade describes in graphic, horrifying details, a sadistically brutal attack upon a 31 year old woman. On being arrested the sadist said,

"I have been reading books on bondage and I felt a strong urge to act out what was in the books......I knew it was wrong but couldn't help myself......It's those bondage books......those rotten books!" (ibid)

Geberth had this to say about sexual fantasies, and how they can become aberrant,

"....development of bizarre sexual images involving grotesque unnatural distortions of sexual imagery....is reinforced through repetition, illustrated by the use of sadistic porn and fantasy stories.....(of) sexual sadism." He added, "Sadistic fantasies.....may involve activities that indicate...dominance...over the victim......This case involved Cameron Hooker......(his) fantasy was to dominate and torture nude women......his fantasies were fueled by an extensive collection of hard-core porn..." (pp. 23 and 741)

Watch Right Internet Crimes Against Children is an extensive collection of law enforcement agencies, weblogs, and informational sites dedicated to tracking and apprehending sex criminals in the hope of preventing sex crimes against children. Scores of crimes are listed on their website and updated daily. Here is one example:

"39 arrested in NJ for child porn distribution. Those arrested range in age from 14-61 and include a high-school coach, hockey coach, a lawyer, and a pediatric surgeon."

If bondage, sado-masochism, sodomy, prostitution, and decadence in general are constitutionally protected rights in our morally insane culture, then why not sex slavery and other forms of bondage?

"The U.S. Central Intelligence Agency estimates that 50,000 people are trafficked into or transited through the U.S.A. annually as sex slaves, domestics, garment, and agricultural slaves." (Human Trafficking & Modern-day Slavery

Morally-insane progressive liberal corrupters and the awe-struck liberalized groupies — Christian and non-Christian — who adore them feel that as long as there is 'love' then virtually anything is permissible if it makes you happy. Lost in a cloud of feel-good ignorance and hyper-hubris they feel that at long last humankind has been emancipated from the slavery of Biblical sexual ethics. Liberated libidos have finally emerged into the bright sunshine and warm fuzzy-feelings of anything goes if it feels good and makes you happy.

Sexual emancipation is as new as modern (neo-pagan) evolutionary naturalism. It is part of our so-called scientifically enlightened "modern" age. Or is it? Pitirim Sorokin vehemently disagrees. In his book, "The American Sex Revolution," Sorokin said:

"Sexual anarchy assumed extreme forms and spread through a large part of the population. Side by side with an increase of sexual perversions, a shameless sexual promiscuity also greatly increased. They seduced members of the same family. Relations between father and daughter.....son and mother.......Adultery, rape......prostitution greatly increased.........homosexual love entered the mores of the population......all the aberrations of morbid eroticism........unnatural relations, flagellations, and sodomy." (p. 93)

Sorokin was contrasting sexually emancipated America with the morally depraved, sexually decadent social conditions in the Old Kingdom of Egypt 4,500 years ago just prior to its collapse. In this light, sexual anarchy, slavery and Decadence Festivals are not signs of something good but of something really, really sick, twisted and rotten. Post-Christian America and the West are not going forward but quickly backsliding to an earlier and vastly lower level of intelligence and wickedness.

Slavery, sexual anarchy and Decadence Festivals are ominous signs of the evil sweeping over and around our planet, and evil is nothing,

".....but a privation of good, which can continue to the point where a thing ceases to exist altogether." St. Augustine
