(James 3:15) Evolutionism: the Hell-Born Foolishness of Man

In "Wisdom and Foolishness," Dr. Harry Reeder, senior minister of Briarwood Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, Ala. writes that God's Word reveals two types of wisdom.  The first is worldly wisdom which is "earthly, unspiritual, demonic."  This hell-derived wisdom leaves in its wake chaos, brokenness, factions, death, and destruction.  The second is wisdom from above, granted by God to those who ask for it:

"It is found in His word, and it is accessed by hearing that Word faithfully preached and then embedding it into our lives through obedience."  (Biblical Dichotomies, Tabletalk, p. 19)

On the other hand, worldly wisdom is not of the Triune God but of man:

" (it is) actually 'the foolishness of man' masquerading as wisdom and propagated by man-made religions and a myriad of 'isms'---humanism, progressivism, materialism, consumerism, secularism, etc."

Of all of the foolishness of man masquerading as wisdom today, there is no more destructive and demonic than evolutionism.  Evolutionism is metaphysical sophistry (evolutionary scientism) pretending to be factual science, and there is nothing factual about it as even Karl Popper (1902-1994), a British philosopher and a professor at the London School of Economics admitted. Because he is regarded as one of the greatest philosophers of science of the 20th century, what Popper had to say about evolutionism, and Darwinism in particular, is of utmost importance to the increasingly ugly war being waged by evolutionists and their theological counterparts against faithful creationists.

Though Popper was an evolutionist, he nevertheless honestly stated that Darwinism is not a testable scientific theory but rather a metaphysical research program. By this he means that not only is Darwinism metaphysical (spiritual), but so are its' two most important foundations, classical empiricism and the observationalist philosophy of science that grew out of it.

Empiricism is a theory of knowledge that contradicts and refutes itself by asserting that human knowledge comes only or primarily via sensory experience rather than the mind ( spirit or thought life, conscience, will) while observationalism asserts that human knowledge and theories must be based on empirical observations....instead of the mind. For this reason, Popper argued strongly against empiricism and observationalism, saying that scientific theories and human knowledge generally, is conjectural or hypothetical and is generated by the creative imagination.

Where they speak frankly, evolutionists not only admit their fear and hatred of the Triune God of Revelation who spoke all things into existence ex nihilo but confess that their so-called 'scientific theories,' the products of their imaginations, are foolishness:

"...one belief that all true original Darwinians held in common, and that was their rejection of creationism, their rejection of special creation. This was the flag around which they assembled and under which they marched.... The conviction that the diversity of the natural world was the result of natural processes and not the work of God was the idea that brought all the so-called Darwinians together in spite of their disagreements on other of Darwin's theories. (One Long Argument,1991, p. 99, Ernst Mayr, 1904–2005, Professor of Zoology at Harvard University)

"We take the side of science in spite of the patent absurdity of some of its constructs, in spite of its failure to fulfill many of its extravagant promises of health and life, in spite of the tolerance of the scientific community for unsubstantiated just-so stories, because we have a prior commitment, a commitment to materialism. It is not that the methods and institutions of science somehow compel us to accept a material explanation of the phenomenal world, but, on the contrary, that we are forced by our a priori adherence to material causes to create an apparatus of investigation and a set of concepts that produce material explanations, no matter how counter-intuitive, no matter how mystifying to the uninitiated. Moreover, that materialism is an absolute, for we cannot allow a Divine Foot in the door." ("Billions and Billions of Demons," Richard Lewontin (b. 1929), PhD Zoology, Alexander Agassiz Research Professor at Harvard University)

Recognized as one of the 50 most influential scientists in the world, Dr. James Tour, a professing Christian and prominent chemist does not believe in the 6-day Creation account, the narrative history of the book of Genesis. He embraces long ages (old earth) and accepts the dating methods  because he cannot understand how God could have meant 6 ordinary days if He did not create the sun until Day 4, because there would be no sun to measure off the first 3 days.  Thus  he has rejected the authority of Scripture, which Jesus Himself believed and quoted from. Like so many other evolutionary theologians and progressive creationists Tour has allowed the opinions of fallen men to re-interpret Scripture for him.
Moreover, Tour confirms that most scientists do not understand how evolution could explain the existence of life nor its complexity:

Let me tell you what goes on in the back rooms of science—with National Academy members, with Nobel Prize winners...I have sat with them, and when I get them alone, not in public—because it’s a scary thing, if you say what I just said—I say, ‘Do you understand all of this, where all of this came from, and how this happens?’ ”  (The revolt against Darwinism, John G. Hartnett, 11 December 2014 , creation.com)

The answer he inevitably receives is: “No.”

Every time that I have sat with people who are synthetic chemists, who understand this, they go, ‘Uh-uh. Nope.’ ”

 Tour adds:

“And if they’re afraid to say ‘yes’, they say nothing. They just stare at me, because they can’t sincerely do it.”

If evolution cannot account for life’s existence, then how did life originate?  Though Tour's unbelief has him siding with hard-core evolutionists he  nevertheless believes that the most reasonable answer is simple

I believe fundamentally that God created us all..."

Evolutionism is a fraud.  It is metaphysical sophistry, and this is why Mark Armitage, a scientist at California State University—Northridge (CSUN) was fired after he discovered soft tissue on a Triceratops fossil, an obvious refutation of the tens of millions of years story necessary to the evolution myth.

Armitage worked as a researcher and supervised the school’s electron microscope laboratory. He was also a member of several scientific organizations, including the Microscopy Society of America, the American Society of Parasitologists, and the Southern California Academy of Sciences, but God-hating evolutionists forced him out, declaring  “We will not tolerate your religion in this department!” (‘We Will Not Tolerate Your Religion!’ School Fires Scientist for Questioning Evolution, Garrett Haley, Christian News Network, July 24, 2014)

Again, evolution is a fraud, as Colin Patterson attests.  Patterson writes that after studying evolutionary theory for many years, he finally "woke up and realized that all my life I had been duped into taking evolutionism as revealed truth in some way." Patterson goes on to say:

"One of the reasons I started taking this anti-evolutionary view, or let's call it a non- evolutionary view, was last year I had a sudden realization for over twenty years I had thought I was working on evolution in some way. One morning I woke up and something had happened in the night and it struck me that I had been working on this stuff for twenty years and there was not one thing I knew about it. That's quite a shock to learn that one can be so misled so long. Either there was something wrong with me or there was something wrong with evolutionary theory. Naturally, I know there is nothing wrong with me, so for the last few weeks I've tried putting a simple question to various people and groups of people....Question is: Can you tell me anything you know about evolution, any one thing, that is true? I tried that question on the geology staff at the Field Museum of Natural History and the only answer I got was silence. I tried it on the members of the Evolutionary Morphology Seminar in the University of Chicago, a very prestigious body of evolutionists, and all I got there was silence for a long time and eventually one person said, 'I do know one thing — it ought not to be taught in high school.'"   ("Evolutionism and Creationism" November 5, 1981, p. 2, Colin Patterson (1933–1998), Senior Paleontologist at British Museum of Natural History)

Millions of people, including great numbers of professing Christians, Protestant theologians and even Pope Benedict and Pope Francis have been deceived by the foolishness of man masquerading as science.  On July 24, 2009 Pope Benedict XVI delivered a homily in northern Italy's Cathedral of Aosta before Vespers. Toward the end of his homily he praised the French Jesuit heretic Pierre Teilhard de Chardin as a model for priests, attributing to him the idea of a cosmic liturgy, which he said was something they should aim to achieve:

"So our address to God becomes an address to ourselves: God invites us to join with him, to leave behind the ocean of evil, hatred, violence and selfishness and to make ourselves known, to enter into the river of his love...."Let Your Church offer herself to You as a living and holy sacrifice. This request, addressed to God, is made also to ourselves. It is a reference to two passages from the Letter to the Romans. We ourselves, with our whole being, must be adoration and sacrifice and, by transforming our world, give it back to God." (Benedict XVI Praises Cosmic Liturgy of Teilhard de Chardin; traditioninaction.org)

Evolution: the Universal Energy

It's at a shallow level that evolutionism is passed off as factual science to those who receive it without question.  It's at a deeper level however, that evolutionism's occult power is found and wielded by magicians like Teilhard de Chardin.  Though Teilhard (1881-1955) passed himself off as an evolutionary scientist he was actually a New Age Hindu-style pantheist and occult Hermetic and alchemical magician who on behalf of his Great Work, sought fusion of opposites, for example, of Jesus Christ with both Shiva (The Destroyer) and Lapis Philosophorum (enlightenment, elixir of life), and himself with Omega point (Quantum Void, Brahman), the energy field worshipped as the substance of God.

Western esotericism, or occultism, is the search for and study of an unseen reality. It is arcane knowledge of the hidden and its' powers. This arcane knowledge is meant only for certain people such as Teilhard de Chardin and fellow practitioners of the magic way.

Occult sciences include, but are not limited to, Hermetic magic, alchemy, astrology, divination, and spiritualism (contact with spirits). Interpretation of occultism and its concepts can be found in nature philosophies, esoteric evolutionary biology and occult pagan systems such as Gnosticism, Cabbala, Theosophy, Wicca, Satanism, Thelema and neo-paganism.

A general definition is offered by Nicholas Goodrick-Clarke:

"Occultism has its basis in a religious way of thinking, the roots of which stretch back into antiquity and which may be described as the Western esoteric tradition. Its principal ingredients have been identified as Gnosticism, the Hermetic treatises on alchemy and magic, Neo-Platonism, and the Kabbalah, all originating in the eastern Mediterranean area during the first few centuries AD." (The Occult Roots of Nazism, Good-Rick-Clarke, p. 17)

Under cover of 'modern science,' evolutionary biology is actually arcane gnosis arising from a religious outlook based in a philosophy of naturalism and programmatic alchemy. When asked why the layman should be interested, "...in so esoteric a subject as evolutionary biology," one of the leading evolutionists of our day, Professor S.J. Gould, candidly responded:

"Because it tells us where we came from, how we got here, and perhaps where we are going. Quite simply, it is science's version of Roots, except it is the story of us all." (The Religious Nature of Evolution Theory and its Attack on Christianity, John G. Leslie and Charles K. Pallaghy, Ph.D, creation.com)

Evolutionary biology's genesis account is an inverted exegesis, an ancient alchemical vision holding that billions of years ago lifeless chemicals were magically birthed when a fiery Cosmic Egg (Big Bang) inexplicably exploded. Then inert chemicals or star stuff magically combined and transcended themselves after a hundred or a thousand identical operations thereby allowing the miraculous transmutation of dead stuff into life. Once life miraculously arose from the dead, natural processes (evolutionary dynamics) were set in motion that after passage of vast ages supposedly eventuated in the arrival of man:

"If man has arrived at his present state as a result of natural processes rather than a supernatural will, he can learn to control these processes...The concept of evolution, which is now basic to the life sciences, has provided new and in some ways revolutionary answers to questions men have been asking for centuries. The two most important of these are, 'Why am I here, what is the purpose of human existence, and what is the nature of the world of life that surrounds us?" (Dobzhansky, T., Ayala, F.J., Stebbins, G.L. and Valentine, J.W., Evolution, W.H. Freeman and Co., San Francisco, 1977)

Teilhard's goal was not mere control of hidden evolutionary powers but the ancient quest of alchemy to perfect the material world or cosmos thereby transmuting (deifying) himself by way of his own fusion with the Divine Energy variously known throughout the ancient and modern world as Serpent Power, Zoe, the Force, Vril, and Kundalini, for example.  According to occult lore, the Divine Energy evolves or emanates from the Watery Abyss, Void, Divine Mens, Omega, Brahman or Quantum Void – the energy field,

"...from which all material energies emanate." (The Meaning of the Magicians, Louis Pauwels and Jacques Bergier, p. 118)

Pauwels and Bergier's book heralded a new dawning of an age of alchemy. Like Carl Jung and Teilhard they understood the religious impulse of alchemy:

"For the alchemist, it must never be forgotten that power over matter and energy is only a secondary reality. The real aim of the alchemist's activities, which are perhaps the remains of a very old science belonging to a civilization long extinct, is the transformation of the alchemist himself, his accession to a higher state of consciousness...Everything is oriented towards the transmutation of man...his deification, his fusion with the divine energy... (and) as Teilhard put it: 'The real aim of physics should be to integrate Man as a totality in a coherent representation of the world." (ibid)

Alchemy is above all the ancient royal occult science of the secret initiates of Babylon, the gnostic magicians who sought esoteric knowledge in their quest to perform the great work. Mircea Eliade explains:

"The aim of the opus magnum (great work) was at once the freeing of the human soul and the healing of the cosmos....In the eyes of the alchemists, observes Jung, Christianity saved man but not nature. It is the alchemist's dream to heal the world in its totality; the Philosopher's Stone is conceived as the Filius Macrcosmoi who heals the world...The ultimate goal of the opus is Cosmic Salvation; for this reason, the Lapis Philosophorum is identified with Christ." (The Forge and the Crucible: The Origin and Structure of Alchemy, 1956, p. 225)

Teilhard began his great work by conjuring a New Religion:

"As you already know, what dominates my interest and my preoccupations is the effort to establish in myself and to spread around a new religion (you may call it a better Christianity) in which the personal God ceases to be the great Neolithic proprietor of former times, in order to become the soul of the world; our religious and cultural stage calls for this." (Lettres a Leontine Zanta, quoted by von Hildebrand in Trojan Horse in the City of God, 1967, p. 239)

He consciously abandoned the 'old' unscientific, anti-evolutionary form of Christian theism which held that Jesus Christ

"...is the beginning of the creation of God" (Apoc. 3:14), "the firstborn of every creature: For in Him were all things created in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible...He is before all, and by Him all things consist...that in all things He may hold the primacy." (Col. 1:15-18)

He had nothing but contempt for Scripture's six day creation account, the fall of Adam and Eve, Jesus Christ and His work on the cross, His bodily resurrection and ascension, and hope of eternal life in Paradise:

"...all those goody-goody romances about the saints and the martyrs! Whatever normal child would want to spend eternity in such boring company?" (Genesis, Creation, and Early Man, Fr. Seraphim Rose, p. 584)

We need a 'new definition of holiness,' said Teilhard, one that is predicated upon science and evolutionary change rather than the outdated, restrictive "for other foundation no man can lay, but that which is laid; which is Christ Jesus." (1Cor 3:11) Henceforth, all theories, hypotheses, systems, faithful orthodox Christianity and Jesus Christ Himself must bow before the will of god-men and the instruments of their will--- esoteric science and evolution---if they are to be thinkable and true:

"The modern world is a world in evolution; hence the static concepts of the spiritual life must be rethought and the classical teachings of Christ must be reinterpreted." (ibid)

Toward the goal of Cosmic Salvation Teilhard subsumed Jesus Christ (John 1:1) into His own creation and secularized and paganized Christian theism to become the prophet of alchemy who has discovered that through fusion of universal evolutionism and the creative power of the Holy Trinity that the cosmos becomes divinely energized. In this way the magician promises to fulfill the ancient quest: the opus magnum. With this great power, said Teilhard:

"...I can increase the density of the divine atmosphere...that atmosphere in which it is always my one desire to be immersed...." (ibid)

Now that the cosmos is God, and the cosmos is evolving, then God too is in process of evolving, therefore,

"...the World...endomorphizes God, and that God....transforms himself as He incorporates us...All around us and within our own selves, God is in the process of changing...." (The Heart of the Matter, de Chardin, pp. 52-53)

In place of 'the earlier conception that God could create instantaneously,' the magician now teaches that God is both the Evolver and the object of evolution and,

"...cannot create except evolutively." (Christianity and Evolution, de Chardin, p. 179)

As with evolutionary theism and progressive creation, Teilhard's 'God' is not the omnipotent, omniscient, living, personal Triune God Who called everything into existence in six days, but an "it:"

"...God's power has not so free a field for its action as we assume; on the contrary...it labors to produce...it is always obliged, in the course of its creative effort, to pass through a whole series of intermediaries and to overcome a whole succession of inevitable risks..." (ibid, p.31)

The evolving "it" has deified human consciousness through three great leaps of evolution:

1. Cosmo genesis (Big Bang): the explosive birth of energy and matter

2. Biogenesis: alchemical transmutation of life from chemicals eventually followed by living forms

3. Noogenesis: the evolution of human consciousness which heralds the emergence of "cosmogenesis-God," the impersonal "it" that replaces,

"...the Father-God of two thousand years ago..." (ibid, p. 202)

Teilhard encouraged Christians to submit to the process of evolution because the promise of this living force is godhood through fusion with the substance of God:

"Though frightened for a moment by evolution, the Christian now perceives that what it offers him is a magnificent means of feeling more at one with God. In (the old, traditional form of Christianity), the universal domination of Christ could...still be regarded as an extrinsic and superimposed power. In a spiritually converging world, this 'Christic' energy acquires an urgency and intensity of another order altogether." (Seraphim Rose, p. 590, emphasis added)

In conclusion, evolutionism is an abomination of desolation.  It is metaphysical sophistry; sleight of hand; magic; serpent power, kundalini, zoe; Vril, Teilhard's Golden Calf.   It is the hell-born foolishness of man masquerading as science.

The Big Bang: Religious Endeavor to Become Like God

Throughout de-Christianized America neo-pagan and occult pantheist evolutionary reasoning is taken for granted throughout the college curriculum, just as it is in all aspects of modern thought and experience.  It not only undergirds biological and earth sciences, but also Freudian and Jungian psychology, anthropology, law, sociology, politics, economics, the media, arts, medicine, and all other academic---and increasingly seminary---disciplines as well. The West's wicked elite Gnostics, the "chosen" ones,  are particularly enamored of evolutionary reasoning:

" Western cultural elites have disregarded God for more than two centuries, but for a while the effects were mostly confined to their own circles. At first, they disregarded God. Then they deliberately desecrated Western tradition and lived in ways that would have spelled disaster if they had been followed more closely. But now in the early twenty-first century, their movement from disregard to desecration to decadence is going mainstream, and the United States is only the lead society among those close to the tipping point.... Soon, as the legalization and then normalization of polyamory, polygamy, pedophilia and incest follow the same logic as that of abortion and homosexuality, the socially destructive consequences of these trends will reverberate throughout society until social chaos is beyond recovery. We can only pray there will be a return to God and sanity before the terrible sentence is pronounced: "God has given them over" to the consequences of their own settled choices."  (Renaissance: The Power of the Gospel However Dark the Times, Os Guinness, p. 20)

So what is evolution?

"Evolution has always been a fundamentally spiritual concept.  In fact, some of the first thinkers to seriously explore the topic---the German Idealists of the early 19th century---were mystic philosophers who predated Darwin's Origin of Species by at least a century."  (A Brief History of Evolutionary Spirituality, Tom Huston)

Rene Guenon (1886-1951) concurs.  Guenon was a French metaphysician, writer, and editor who was largely responsible for laying the metaphysical groundwork for the Traditionalist or Perennialist school of thought in the early twentieth century.   In his brilliant critical analysis of Theosophy and Spiritism entitled, "The Spiritist Fallacy"  Guenon investigates and exposes the satanic esotericism working through various modern Western secret societies to pervert true religion---and orthodox Christianity in particular--- in order to ultimately turn the world over to Luciferian forces.  Guenon reveals that in early Theosophist and spiritist circles use of the word 'progress' or 'progressivist' preceded the use of the word 'evolution.' The roots of Theosophy, hence of evolution, stretch back to the ancient Upanishads of India in the East and in the West to ancient Babylon and Greece.  In its modern version, progress and/or evolution describes the progress (transmigration) of soul as it inhabits in succession the bodies of different kinds of beings over the course of thousands or even millions and billions of years.

Eventually the word evolution became preferred, especially by empirical realists and materialists like Karl Marx because it had a more 'scientific' allure:

"This kind of 'verbalism'...provides the illusion of thought for those incapable of really thinking..."  (ibid, p. 231)

Evolution is an ancient occult doctrine originating in ancient Babylonian Cabbala  and Egyptian Hermetic magic and Mystery Religion traditions from the time of Babylon---the mother of all Mystery Religions---that entered Christendom during the Renaissance.  In "God and the Knowledge of Reality," the Catholic philosopher and historian, Thomas Molnar (1921–2010), reveals that certain Christian theologians, mystics and scholars such as Emanuel Swedenborg had discovered Hermetic magic and occult Jewish Cabbala texts which they studied and translated resulting in Hermetic Cabbala. Then like Pico della Mirandola, they argued that Hermetic Cabbala--- the divine occult science or Magic Way of reaching divine status and powers through initiation, evolution (progress), and ritual procedures is the best proof of the divinity of Christ. In other words said Molnar,

".....by the time of the Renaissance the esoteric texts of the first centuries A.D. had acquired in scholarly and humanist circles an unparalleled prestige, confronting as equals the texts held sacred by the church. In Pico's estimation, 'nulla est scientia que nos magis certificet de divinitate Christ quam magia et Cabala' (there is no science that would prove for us Christ's divinity better than magic and the Cabala.)" (pp. 78-79)

That Hermetic magic and Babylonian Cabbala are ancient Mystery Religion traditions undergirded by evolution is affirmed by G. H. Pember in his classic work, "Earth's Earliest Ages."    In his impeccably researched book Pember thoroughly examines the role of fallen angels in connection with the occult science they taught to pre-flood generations and compares them to the explosion of spiritism (open intercourse with evil spirits), astrology, the Mysteries and other occult traditions sweeping over Christendom.

Pember writes that the Mysteries are no longer veiled in mystery but boldly presented by the powerful occult progressive brotherhood that emerged out of the Renaissance as the fruit of modern science, especially evolutionary philosophy, which the brotherhood assert was included in the instructions given,

"...to the initiates of the Hermetic, Orphic, Eleusinian, and Cabbalistic mysteries, and were familiar to Chaldean Magi, Egyptian Priests, Hindu Occultists, Essenes, Therapeutae Gnostics, and Theurgic Neo-Platonists." (Pember, pp.243-244)

Today, arcane evolution has so thoroughly replaced the personal Creator in the consciousness of vast numbers of secularized Westerners, both within and without the whole body of the Christian Church that one of the leading evolution-worshippers of our day, Professor S.J. Gould, goes so far as to describe evolutionary biology as the story of mankind.  Evolution:

“....tells us where we came from, how we got here, and perhaps where we are going. Quite simply, it is science’s version of Roots, except it is the story of us all.”   (The Religious Nature of Evolution Theory and its Attack on Christianity, John G. Leslie and Charles K. Pallaghy, Ph.D, creation.com)

In fascinated affirmation, Theodosius Dobzhansky (1900-1975) , a prominent evolutionary biologist and progressive creationist, sees evolution as a light that illuminates all facts, a trajectory which all lines of thought must follow, for if man,

“...has arrived at his present state as a result of natural processes rather than a supernatural will, he can learn to control these processes…The concept of evolution, which is now basic to the life sciences, has provided new and in some ways revolutionary answers to questions men have been asking for centuries. The two most important of these are, ‘Why am I here, what is the purpose of human existence, and what is the nature of the world of life that surrounds us?”   (Dobzhansky, T., Ayala, F.J., Stebbins, G.L. and Valentine, J.W., Evolution, W.H. Freeman and Co., San Francisco, 1977)

The most widely held metaphysical evolutionary cosmology, or model of the universe's beginning and development is the Big Bang theory.   According to this version of the “story of us all” the universe is thought to have 'exploded' from a 'cosmic egg,' sometimes called the ylem in a universe bounded by an edge.  The Encyclopedia Britannica notes that the big bang is a theory,

"...of the evolution of the universe.  Its essential feature is the emergence of the universe from a state of extremely high temperature and density---the so-called big bang that occurred at least 10,000,000,000 years ago....."(Big Bang Model, The New Encyclopedia Britannica, 15th edition, 2:205, 1992)

The big bang is based on two assumptions:

"The first is that Einstein's general theory of relativity describes the gravitational attraction of all matter.  The second assumption, called the cosmological principle, states that the observer's point of view of the universe depends neither on the direction in which he looks nor on his location.  This principle applies only to the large scale properties of the universe, but it does imply that the universe has no edge, so that the big bang occurred not at a particular point in space but rather throughout space at the same time.  These two assumptions make it possible to calculate the history of the cosmos after a certain epoch called the Planck time.  Scientists have yet to determine what prevailed before Planck time."    (ibid)

Distinctions are in order here. While the first assumption is actually scientific, the second assumption, sometimes misnamed the Copernican Principle, is completely metaphysical, or philosophical.  This is illustrated by Edwin Hubble (1889-1953) who discovered that distant objects appeared to have 'red shifts' approximately proportional to distance from earth. (Refuting Compromise: A Biblical and Scientific Refutation of 'Progressive Creationism' as Popularized by Astronomer Hugh Ross, Jonathan Sarfati, Ph.D., F.M., p. 146-147)

Hubble's speculative interpretation of this discovery presented it as evidence of an expanding universe without a center and without an edge (unbounded) as opposed to Hugh Ross, the popularizer of progressive creationism whose own imaginative assumption pictures everything exploding from a central point in a universe bounded by an edge.

Ross’s brand of evolutionary Christianity is wildly popular among certain Christians.  It was as a teenager that  Ross decided the non-biblical big bang was a fact, thus it is the foundation stone of his twisted Scriptures.  His big bang assumptions irresistibly lead him to trip, stumble and fall down evolution’s downward-spiraling vortex blurring distinctions between humans and animals as he goes.

The Big Bang is devoid of experimental proof, yet because the universe is definitely running down this fact surely points to some kind of beginning. This is apparently why some Christians—theistic evolutionists and progressive creationists such as Pope Francis, Hugh Ross, Tim Keller and many others—who feel we simply have to accept the evolutionists' billions of years—have decided to accept the Big Bang theory. After all, the Big Bang requires a beginning, and they think this fits with the Bible.  (Big Bang -- The Bucks Stop There, Henry Morris, Ph.D., icr.org)

However, not only does the Big Bang---or any other evolutionary cosmology---- not fit into the Bible but it also turns the Creator, Jesus Christ, into a liar, for He said that Adam and Eve were there "from the beginning of the creation" (Mark 10: 6), referring to the account in Genesis 1:26-27 not several billion years after the beginning of the creation.  As the Nicene Creed affirms, Gods Word starts with the creation of absolutely everything visible and invisible ex nihilo in the space of six days.  In his "Literal interpretation of Genesis" Augustine of Hippo notes that when God brought material reality into existence, "then time began its flight." That is, when God created material things (the visible), at the same time He created space and time (the invisible) as their context.  (Creator and Creature, Douglas F. Kelly, Table Talk: Biblical Dichotomies, p. 6)

"It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all" John 6:63

God brought the angels into being sometime during that first creative week and as Thomas Aquinas, one of the most respected theologians of the medieval church affirms,

"Nothing entirely new was afterwards made by God, but all things subsequently made had in a sense been made before in the work of the six days.  Some things...had a previous experience materially, as the rib from the side of Adam out of which God formed Eve; whilst others existed not only in matter but also in their causes, as those individual creatures that are now generated existed in the first of their kind."   (Summa Theologica, ibid, Sarfati, p. 120)

Evolutionary Cosmologies: Imaginative Assumptions

George Francis Rayner Ellis, a high-profile evolutionary cosmologist, lets the cat out of the bag with his candid confession regarding the important role of imaginative assumptions with respect to the broad range of evolutionary models of the universe such as the Big Bang. Ellis argues,

"...I can construct...a spherically symmetrical universe with earth at its center, and you cannot disprove it based on observations."   "You can only exclude it on philosophical grounds.  In my view there is absolutely nothing wrong in that.   What I want to bring into the open is the fact that we are using philosophical criteria in choosing our models.  A lot of cosmology tries to hide that."  (ibid, Jonathan Sarfati)

In other words, the Authority and Revelation of God, particularly in His six day creation account is rejected a priori not on the grounds of observational science but on the philosophical assumptions of arrogant speculators whose imaginative evolutionary models are metaphysical projects pretending to be observational science.

Another unspoken Big Bang assumption is naturalism, which ought to ring alarm bells for faithful Christians.   Naturalism posits that the universe and everything in it, including conscious life, is the result of entirely natural processes.  The Big Bang therefore, is a neo-pagan and occult pantheist evolutionary cosmology, a metaphysical program grounded in naturalism that rejects both the personal Creator and the supernatural dimension.  This position holds true despite the uninformed claims of speculators like Hugh Ross who claim that God created and ignited the Big Bang.

While Pope Francis and many other liberal revisionists embrace and endorse Big Bang cosmology 33 leading evolutionary scientists expose its frauds and fallacies  in ‘Open Letter to the Scientific Community’ published on the internet (www.cosmologystatement.org) and in New Scientist (Lerner, E., Bucking the big bang, New Scientist 182 (2448) 20, 22 May 2004) these evolutionary scientists write:

"Our ideas about the history of the universe are dominated by big bang theory. But its dominance rests more on funding decisions than on the scientific method, according to Eric Lerner, mathematician Michael Ibison of Earthtech.org, and dozens of other scientists from around the world." (Secular scientists blast the big bang: What now for naïve apologetics? Carl Wieland, creation.com)

The open letter includes statements such as:

1. "The big bang today relies on a growing number of hypothetical entities, things that we have never observed—inflation, dark matter and dark energy are the most prominent examples. Without them, there would be a fatal contradiction between the observations made by astronomers and the predictions of the big bang theory.’

2. "But the big bang theory can’t survive without these fudge factors. Without the hypothetical inflation field, the big bang does not predict the smooth, isotropic cosmic background radiation that is observed, because there would be no way for parts of the universe that are now more than a few degrees away in the sky to come to the same temperature and thus emit the same amount of microwave radiation. … Inflation requires a density 20 times larger than that implied by big bang nucleosynthesis, the theory’s explanation of the origin of the light elements.’ (This refers to the horizon problem, and supports what we say in Light-travel time: a problem for the big bang, Carl Wieland)

3. "In no other field of physics would this continual recourse to new hypothetical objects be accepted as a way of bridging the gap between theory and observation. It would, at the least, raise serious questions about the validity of the underlying theory."

4."What is more, the big bang theory can boast of no quantitative predictions that have subsequently been validated by observation. The successes claimed by the theory’s supporters consist of its ability to retrospectively fit observations with a steadily increasing array of adjustable parameters, just as the old Earth-centred cosmology of Ptolemy needed layer upon layer of epicycles." (ibid, Carl Wieland)

It’s amazing to see how many Christian leaders have not merely tolerated the ‘big bang’ idea, but embraced it wholeheartedly:

"To hear their pronouncements, believers should welcome it as a major plank in our defense of the faith. ‘At last, we can use science to prove there’s a creator of the universe.’ However, the price of succumbing to the lure of secular acceptability, at least in physics and astronomy, has been heavy. We have long warned that adopting the big bang into Christian thought is like bringing the wooden horse within the walls of Troy."  (ibid, Wieland)

The Big Bang model is not the only game in town.  Among other imaginative models there is the quasi-steady-state model of the big bang antagonist, the late Sir Fred Hoyle.  Then there is the ekpyrotic  model positing that our universe is a four-dimensional membrane embedded in a five-dimensional ‘bulk’ space.  Its proponents admit:

Our proposal is based on unproven ideas in string theory and is brand new.” ( ibid, Sarfati, p. 182)

Then there are the multiverse models proposing that our universe is not the only one but that space is filled with an infinite number of parallel universes.  Royal Astronomer Lord Martin Rees, who holds the honorary title of Astronomer Royal champions multiverse conceptions in the hope that in at least one or more of them living beings created themselves who are far more advanced than our own life-forms. Rees believes that if this is the case, then super-intelligent aliens might be capable of simulating in their brains or in a super-computer the complex history of our universe, meaning the universe we inhabit is a simulation lacking real substance and existing only as a mental construction, a matrix, in the minds of highly evolved aliens who seeded our world with life and travel through time in order to control man's evolutionary progress. (Scientific Mythologies, James A. Herrick, p. 216)

The idea that the universe we inhabit exists only as a mental construction is very similar to Hinduism's Brahman. Brahman is the Great Cosmic Spirit – the Ultimate One Substance (energy field, Void, prakriti matter) or Essence of material phenomena, meaning that the universe exists only as a mental construction in the mind of Brahman: brahma satyam jagan mithya, or "Brahman is real, the world is unreal." (swamij.com/mahavakyas)

Rees proposal is also similar to the hypothesis presented by Olaf Stapledon, a scientist who has always kept one foot firmly planted in neo-pagan and occult pantheist science fiction accounts and imagines our universe to be an artifact of the Star Maker. Building off of Stapledon's fantasy Carl Sagan suggests that we are "star folk" made of "star stuff." (Herrick, pp. 216-217)

Replace Star Maker with Brahman and "star stuff" with sarvam khalvidam brahma, or "All is truly Brahman" (swamij.com) and we have ayam atma brahmam: "The Self is Brahman." (Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 4.4.5)

In the caption of his book, "Just Six Numbers," Rees reveals that the ancient occult basis of his propositions is the serpent biting its tail:

"The ouraboros. There are links between the microworld of particles, nuclei and atoms and the cosmos." (Rees M., Just Six Numbers, P. 9)

The Ouroboros with its astral planes or multiverses is well-known around the world in its' many ancient and modern occult traditions.

Evolutionary Cosmologies: An Abomination that Desolates

Like moths drawn to strange fire, from the Renaissance to our own time liberalized Christian theologians have been drawn irresistibly to evolution.   Followed by countless unwitting souls, they've been flying into an abomination that desolates.

Evolutionary Cosmologies: The Significance

Today’s broad range of evolutionary cosmologies symbolize the deep religious desires of certain men, who in their rejection of our Lord Jesus Christ and physical resurrection, seek  autonomous self-creation, transcendence and self-redemption, thus are incarnations,

“ …of the ancient, deeply religious endeavor “to become like God” – infinitely wise, omnipotent, autonomous, and immortal.” ((Mircea Eliade, The Forge and the Crucible: The Origins and  Structures of Alchemy,  Dr. Erdmann)

Atheism: From the Pre-Flood Generations to Our Own

Pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall." Proverbs 16:18

In "Against the Heathen," early Church Father Athanasius reveals that pride and haughtiness preceded pre-flood man's fall into idolatry and paganism. A haughty spirit led them to make light of the higher, unchanging things of the personal Creator, and deliberately disregarding what they knew to be true they began to seek in preference things in the lower or natural dimension. Thus they fell into worship of energies, elements, autonomous self, sexual pleasures and acquisition of status and things to the living God and higher things.

The truth as to evil said Athanasius,

"....is that it originates, and resides, in the perverted choice of the darkened soul" which, "materialized by forgetting God" and engrossed in lower things, "makes them into gods," and thereby "descends into a hopeless depth of delusion and superstition," whereby "they ceased to think that anything existed beyond what is seen, or that anything was good save things temporal and bodily; so turning away and forgetting that she was in the image of the good God, she no longer... sees God the Word after whose likeness she is made; but having departed from herself, imagines and feigns what is not (and then) advancing further in evil, they came to celebrate as gods the elements and the principles of which bodies are composed...." (Against the Heathen, New Advent)

Having descended into delusion and superstition they imagined that "all that exists" is the natural dimension — a divine One Substance, watery abyss, chaos, or void, primordial matter, serpent powers, forces, and deterministic laws, all of which they celebrated and attributed miraculous powers to.

This is naturalism which is the belief that there is neither living, personal God nor heavenly realm outside of the space-time dimension.

Most nature worshippers resented Christianity.  Thus the advent of Christian theism brought not only accusations of atheism but persecution and sadistic torture.   Followers of the Way, as Christians were first known, were atheists with respect to their committed disbelief in and rejection of naturalism and its’ nature philosophies, Mysteries, natural and occult sciences, dehumanizing evolutionary cosmogonies and nature deities comprising the Greek and Roman pantheons.

Eventually, Western civilization and America rose to heights of unprecedented individual freedom, prosperity, and glory on the wings of Christianity.   But from the Renaissance to our own age a still unfolding and spreading rebellion against the God of the Bible eventuating in the declaration of His death during the Enlightenment has killed the soul of Western and American civilization and reversed the meaning of atheism.

Today the term atheism once again denotes commitment to a concept of the universe (nature) that is open to anything but the God of the Bible.   Just like the pre-flood generations, modern evolutionary atheists and their pantheist counterparts are naturalists. Therefore, whatever oddities nature brings before us, for example, meaning, laws, dreams, demons, voices speaking into minds, mind itself and extraterrestrials, it must always be nature alone that has somehow produced them.

Only the natural dimension is allowed, thus evolutionary materialist Dr. Scott Todd wrote in the science journal 'Nature:'

"Even if all the data point to an intelligent designer, such a hypothesis is excluded from science because it is not naturalistic." (Naturalism in the Light of Reality, Robert Gurney, creation.com, June 14, 2012)

Todd is not a voice of reason.  He is not a seeker of truth but one who conceals truth.   Todd is a prevaricator, an agent of falsehood fueled by will-to-power.

Early conservative intellectual Richard Weaver foresaw this eventuality. In his book, "Ideas Have Consequences," (1945) Weaver writes that 14th century Western man had made an "evil decision" to abandon his belief in the transcendent God and universals and thus the position that "there is a source of truth higher than, and independent of  man..." The consequences of the rejection of "higher things" were catastrophic:

"The denial of everything transcending experience means inevitably...the denial of truth. With the denial of objective truth there is no escape from the relativism of 'man is the measure of all things." (The Conservative Intellectual Movement in America, George H. Nash, pp. 32-33)

The brilliant visionary, Robert Hugh Benson (1871-1914), an English Catholic priest saw through the scientific pretensions of one-dimensional natural science and its' primary doctrine, evolutionary theory. Benson predicted that naturalism and evolutionary thinking would prepare Westerners and Americans not only to embrace but to worship and adore Antichrist, for this human-god (Mr. Felsenburgh) is the first perfected product of nature and evolutionary forces. Mr. Felsenburgh has arisen and he is,

"....the first perfect product of that new cosmopolitan creation to which the world has labored throughout its history..." (p 85)

He transfixes men, and they excitedly declare they have seen,

"...the Son of Man,' the 'Savior of the world,' we knew Him in our hearts as soon as we saw Him, as soon as He stood there. It was like a glory around his head (and now we) understand it all... It was He for whom we have waited so long; and He has come, bringing Peace and Goodwill in His hands." (pp. 85, 89)

Christianity failed.

It divided people. Original sin made men feel guilty and the Ten Commandments made self-love, covetousness, envy and unrestrained libido into sins. But now Jehovah is finally gone. Liberated men are now free to declare that He never existed at all except as a hideous nightmare. Now at long last man's natural Savior has arisen:

"The reign of God has really begun (and) we are all partakers of God" because God is in everything, including all men...."Jehovah has fallen. He is in His grave." In His place is the evolved Son of Man, a god indeed and a man as well..."a god because human and a man because so divine." (ibid, pp. 93, 95)

The moral of the story is threefold.   First, just because men have declared the death of God does not make it so.  Contrary to the wishful thinking of man, reality is not within the unrestrained imagination of man but outside of and beyond reach of man.   Jehovah God is Ultimate Reality, which means that reality (i.e., heaven, hell) is unaffected by the vain reasoning of man.  Pre-flood generations learned these lessons the hard way. And finally, the man who refuses to submit to his Creator and willingly rejects His offer of salvation by grace will submit to the devil.

Kundalini (Serpent Power) & Satan's Servants of Error in Modern America

"We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us.  Hereby know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error." (1 John 4:6)

In this verse the emphasis is on the believer's ability to discern between a spirit of truth and a spirit of error, heresy, apostasy, lies and cleverly disguised deceptions such as modern evolutionary thinking and methodological naturalism.

The spirit of truth is relatively easy to discern as such people come willingly to the light of truth (John 3:21).  Having a heart for truth, they really and truly want to know and embrace Truth.  On the other hand, the spirit of error is more difficult to discern because the taproot and energy of this spirit is in Satan, the father of lies, of false gods, cleverness, sophistry, false science and evolution, heresy, apostasy, rebellion, murder, and envy.

Satan is the great deceiver (Rev. 12:9).  He uses his servants of deception to manipulate, confuse, and mislead (Ephesians 4:14).   Today his most powerfully influential servants are the world's occult 'elites' but are also found throughout the secular, Christian, cult and occult New Age arenas. (2 Cor. 11:14-15)

One of Satan's important servants, the evangelical apostate Alice Bailey (1880-1949), is a major architect of today's rapidly spreading serpent-powered occult New Age movement, a spiritual juggernaut that effects a counter-conversion of consciousness that closes the soul to Jesus Christ while opening it to powers of darkness.

According to Bailey's contemporary apostles, the 'Plan' for the coming New Age can be traced back to the fall of Lucifer and his angels from heaven. Bailey's demon-master, the Tibetan, described the revolt of the angels against the Holy God as part of the "divine plan of evolution," by which angels "descended from their sinless and free state of existence in order to develop full divine awareness on earth."  (Orthodoxy and the Religion of the Future, Fr. Seraphim Rose, p. 224)

In this total reversal and inversion of the Revealed Word of God, the Fall of man was really an evolutionary ascent to liberating knowledge by which man's eyes were opened to good (Satan) and evil (the Holy God).  Thus Helena Blavatsky, another important servant of Satan and architect of New Age spirituality concluded that it is but natural,

"...to view Satan, the Serpent of Genesis, as the real creator and benefactor, the Father of Spiritual mankind.  For it was he who was the 'Harbinger of Light,' bright radiant Lucifer, who opened the eyes of the automaton created by Jehovah...Indeed, (mankind) was taught wisdom and the hidden knowledge by the 'Fallen Angel."   As man's benefactor, Lucifer continues to assist man's evolution.   In the words of the apostate evangelical, now New Age theologian David Spangler, a disciple of both Blavatsky and Bailey, Lucifer is 'the angel of man's evolution."  (ibid, pp. 224-225)

From the time of the Apostles to our own day, an unbroken chain of Satan's servants have disguised themselves as super apostles and ministers of righteousness who as always are,

"...the inventors of impure heresies (the) profaners and apostates (who open) their mouths wide against the divine glory". ...Church Father Cyril of Alexandria

These spirits hate Truth and most generally elevate themselves among God's family so as to lead believers into compromise and conformity with the paganized world system.  On behalf of what Satan's contemporary ministers term 'rational' and 'scientific' they sweep away the essentials of the faith necessary both for salvation and the recognition of evil. (2 Peter 2:18) And without the grace and spiritual discernment that is born of true faith, Satan ceases to exist in the eyes of the spiritually blind, whether secular or Christian.

Commenting on the incredible blindness of our scientifically enlightened, theologically compromised and apostate modern society, the cultural theorist Denis de Rougemont (1906-1985), author of "The Devil's Share, An Essay on the Diabolic in Modern Society" observed:

"What appears to me incredible is not the Devil, not the Angels, but rather the candor and the credulity of the skeptic, and the unpardonable sophism of which they show themselves to be the victims (they say) 'The Devil is a gent with red horns and a long tail; now I cannot believe in a gent with red horns and a long tail; therefore I don't believe in the Devil.'  And so the Devil has them precisely where he wants them." (The Coming Darkness, John Ankerberg and John Weldon, p. 61)

When believers find spiritual truth trivialized and diminished, marginalized and ridiculed in the church, some will go in search of a faithful church, some will fall away entirely, and others will turn to cults and the occult.

Tragically, since Satan's ministers ridicule and reject the authority of God's Word, the second and third groups have no guidelines for evaluating and testing the occult/Eastern spiritual experiences and devices they encounter such as the enneagram, Jungian psychology, the MBTI, kundalini yoga, and meditation techniques already popular in our culture, apostatizing churches and steadily creeping into compromised churches.  Thus they can easily stumble into the spirit world and if not already fallen away, then onto the broad smooth way of apostasy:

".....acceptance of the enneagram, if not already a sign of apostasy, must lead to a loss of faith since it distorts the Gospel and contradicts Catholic doctrine, depriving the individual of a genuine Catholic language and setting in its place what has been most aptly termed as psychobabbling. What is most puzzling, however, is the continued silence of the Church's official teachers who know that this absurdity is being promoted and spread among our Catholic school teachers and priests."  (NCCB Preparing Cautionary Note on Use of Enneagram, Paul Likoudis, Catholic Culture.org)

For an eye-opening look at the demon-haunted Carl Jung and a penetrating analysis of his occult, alchemical, Gnostic, and demon-informed psychology and connections to the wildly popular Enneagram and MBTI, read "Carl Jung, Neo-Gnosticism, & the MBTI," by Rev. Ed Hird, past National Chair of Anglican Renewal Ministries of Canada:  http://www3.telus.net/st_simons/arm03.htm

"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world." 1 John 4:1

In his best-selling book, "Strange Fire," pastor John MacArthur masterfully chronicles the unsavory history underpinning the modern Charismatic/Apostolic Movement (NAR) and its false prophets.  The New Apostolic Reformation is both a breeding ground for scandal, bad doctrine, and spiritual chicanery and the fastest growing "Christian" movement in the world.  MacArthur lays out a chilling case for rejecting its false prophets and for exposing their errors to the cleansing light of Truth.

In his penetrating analysis of the Charismatic/Apostolic movement, Fr. Seraphim Rose notes that the spiritist manifestations (i.e., impartation, holy laughter, drunk in the spirit, roaring, barking, hissing, slain in the spirit) experienced in Charismatic churches are found in the occult New Age movement.   The spirit that invaded the Charismatic movement during the 'Toronto Blessing' is not the Holy Spirit, said Rose, but the kundalini spirit (serpent power), the same spirit that ancient Egyptians, Hindus, yoga practitioners, and New Agers are familiar with.

From the time of the ancients serpent power has been important to religious and mythological symbolism all around the world. Within the Egyptian mysteries, serpent power was associated with,

..."the elemental forces that were in play before the creation of the world." (Carl Teichrib, Gods of Ancient Egypt, p. 182)

In his book, "The Sign of the Serpent," Mark Balfour relates how pervasive serpent symbols are within India and the Hindu religion:

"Any observant traveler who moves from the snow-tipped Himalayas in the North to the sun-soaked sands of Cape Comorin at India's southern tip, will encounter – particularly in the rural areas and at sacred centres of pilgrimage wherever Siva, God of both Divine Wisdom and regeneration, is the presiding Deity – the serpent motif sculptured within shrines, impressed on myriads of stone implants in the ground and depicted in art." (A Short Guide to Occult Symbols: Serpent Power, Carl Teichrib, 2005, Kjos Ministries)

Balfour elaborates on this belief:

"In Hinduism, the Cosmic Serpent – Ananta Sesha – symbolic of timeless eternity, carries the world on his 1000-fold [Cobra] hood...As the creative impulse stirs within the great Serpent in the Sky – when passive idea becomes active thought – the forces of attraction and repulsion come into play as 'spirit' begins its involution into "matter." (ibid, Teichrib)

Moreover, Kundalini yoga, a discipline within Hinduism, teaches that latent serpent energy lies at the base of the etheric human spine,

"...like a coiled serpent, ready to spring." (Harper's Dictionary of Hinduism, p. 156, ibid, Teichrib)

Through strenuous yoga techniques, serpent power uncoils and rises through seven "chakras" or power centers within the human body. Serpent power is considered,

"(to be a) concentrated field of intelligent cosmic, invisible energy absolutely vital to life beginning in the base of the spine as a man or a woman begins to evolve in their first incarnation." (The Donning International Encyclopedic Psychic Dictionary, p. 343, ibid, Teichrib)

"Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field..." – Genesis 3:1

Serpent power is imparted by laying on of hands, or Shakti-pat.  The demon-possessed Indian guru Bhagwan Shree Rajineesh, called the "divine drunkard" by his disciples and thousands of worshippers in India and America, encouraged his devotees to come and drink from him, meaning, receive his touch:

"His spiritual 'wine' was often passed on with a single touch to the head (Shakti-pat), at which his followers would collapse in ecstatic laughter. Another famous guru, Swami Muktananda, would hold meetings at which thousands of his followers from around the world came to receive his touch.  They experienced uncontrollable laughing, roaring, barking, hissing, crying, shaking, as well as falling unconscious." (Rose, p. 217)

These demon-possessed gurus were imparting to their worshippers experiences they had undergone during initiation rituals and which they attributed to spirit-possession.

Veteran researcher Brooks Alexander observes of Rajineesh, Muktananda and other gurus:

"All of these gurus espouse a similar philosophy, and they all turn it into practice in a similar way.  It is a pattern that we find not only in tantra (Indo-Tibetan occultism), but in European Satanism, antinomian Gnosticism, and ancient pagan sorcery as well." (Book Review: Riders of the Cosmic Circuit," in SCP Journal, Vol. 7, No. 1, 1987, p. 39)

According to Alexander, Satan's servants have successfully assimilated occult Eastern teachings and techniques into our church and our culture.  With remarkable speed and ease, Eastern and occult ideas and spiritist techniques for contacting spirits such as trance music, brain-altering drugs, meditation and yoga are being propagated to undiscerning Westerners and Americans, within and without the church, on a mass scale,

"...they are filtered through the pervasive secularism of our culture.  In this way they are demystified without changing their essential content.  The basic components of an Eastern/occult world view are recast in forms of expression that are naturalistic, scientific, and humanistic...Occult philosophy is being secularized and psychologized with increasing refinement....Their underlying themes run through contemporary science, economics, politics, art, psychology, and religion."  (The Coming Darkness, p. 55)

"Be sober, be vigilant: because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour." 1  Peter 5:8

Satan's servants are out in the open today.  They have successfully initiated a devastating assault upon the whole body of the Christian church and by extension, upon Western and American society in ways that to previous generations would have seemed unthinkable.    Therefore,

"Put you on the armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the deceits of the devil."  Ephesians 6:11

And though all may seem dark, hopeless and lost, fear not, for the faithful believer, the one who seeks and perseveres in Truth, is of God:

"Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world." (1 John 4:4)

The Snakes Lie and Darwinism

The idea that man can become God was first whispered in Eve’s ear by the snake.  In “Ancient Paganism: The Sorcery of Fallen Angels” Ken Johnson, Th.D,  writes that the snake (Lucifer) persuaded pre-flood people to believe that the original Creator God did not exist since He had emptied Himself into creation (pantheism).  According to the snake, since all that actually exists is a creative animated God-force it is possible for each person to evolve into god since the god-energy is man’s mind or unconscious:

“Since the unconscious is God all along, we may further define the goal of spiritual growth to be the attainment of godhood by the conscious self.” (A Different Drum, M. Scott Peck)

In the words of Emergent Church leader Rob Bell, evolution is an energy that everything---including man---is plugged into.  Evolution is a,

"…. spark, an electricity that everything is plugged into. The Greeks called it zoe, the mystics call it 'Spirit,' and Obi-Wan called it 'the Force'.....This energy, spark, and electricity that pulses through all of creation sustains it, fuels it, and keeps it growing. Growing, evolving, reproducing..." (Love Wins, pp. 144-145)

Pre-flood people held very similar views to those espoused by Peck and Bell.  This is why early Church Father Tertullian describes both Greek pagans, who taught that by magic they would evolve into demons (highly evolved spirits of people who lived during the Golden Age) after death and pre-flood people as idolaters rather than atheists:

“….by magic, which is indeed only a second idolatry, wherein they pretend that after death they become demons, just as they were supposed in the first and literal idolatry to become gods.” Tertullian Treatise on the soul 57 (emphasis added)

We learn in the Ancient Book of Jasher, a 3,000 year old non-inspired history referenced in Joshua 10:13; 2 Sam. 1:18, and 2 Tim. 3:8, that the idea that God does not exist was Lucifer’s original lie:

And they called to Noah, saying, Open for us that we may come to thee in the ark---and wherefore shall we die?  And Noah, with a loud voice, answered them….saying, Have you not all rebelled against the Lord, and said that he does not exist?” Jasher 6:18-19 (emphasis added)

Pre-flood people were idolaters.  They preferred ‘self’ to God and brethren.  They willfully chose to believe that the Creator God does not exist and that by various magic rituals which they had learned from the Watchers (Angels) they would change (evolve) into gods:

And Cainan…went to seek for himself a place where he might seize for himself a city.  And he found a writing which former generations had carved on the rock, and he read what was thereon, and he transcribed it and sinned owing to it; for it contained the teaching of the Watchers….And he wrote it down and said nothing regarding it; for he was afraid to speak to Noah about it lest he should be angry with him on account of it.” (Jubilees 8: 1-5, cited in Ancient Paganism: The Sorcery of the Fallen Angels, Ken Johnson, Th.D., p. 36, emphasis added)

God destroyed that world with a flood.  Only Noah and his family were saved, but whereas Noah re-established the worship of the one true God, in the post-flood world, his son Ham and his sons quickly fell back into pagan idolatry, the lie that man will change into god.

Church Father Clement writes that it was Ham who rediscovered and resurrected pre-flood teachings from the Watchers:

"Fallen angels taught men the use of magical incantations that would force demons to obey man.  After the flood Ham the son of Noah unhappily discovered this and taught it to his sons.  This became ingrained into the Egyptians, Persians, and Babylonians.  Ham died shortly after the fall of the Tower of Babel.  Nimrod, called Ninus by the Greeks, was handed this knowledge and by it caused men to go away from the worship of God and go into diverse and erratic superstitions and they began to be governed by the signs in the stars and motions of the planets." (Recognitions of Clement 4.26-29)

The theme which unites pre-flood paganism to ancient Sumeria (Babylonia) and modern evolutionary movements--- Darwinian humanism,  Teilhard's Hindu pantheist system, Big Bang assumptions, Luciferian Theosophy, liberal pantheist theology, occult pantheist New Age mysticism, and America's slide into apostasy are pride, defiance, and the myth of evolution.

In "Belief in God, Heaven and Miracles Down; Belief in Evolution Up," Christian Post reporter Jeff Schapiro reveals that the percentage of Americans who believe in God, heaven and miracles decreased in the last several years, according to poll results released Monday, while the percentage of people who believe in Darwin's theory of evolution is on the rise:

"A new Harris Poll found that nearly three-quarters (74 percent) of American adults believe in God, though that number is down from 2005, 2007 and 2009, when 82 percent believed in Him. Sixty-eight percent of people now say they are absolutely or somewhat certain God exists, though that number has decreased by 11 percentage points since 2003."  (christianpost.com, Dec. 19, 2013)

Belief in the theory of evolution, on the other hand,

"...has risen from 42 percent to 47 percent in the last eight years. Since 2003, the percentage of adults who say there is no God has increased from nine percent to 16 percent, and uncertainty as to whether there is a God has risen from 12 percent to 16 percent."

In keeping with His Gospel, our Lord not only announced it but foretold the trials and tribulations that would encompass His followers.

The most lethal in our age is the spirit of rebellion that dresses self-worship and evolutionary nature religions in Christian clothing in an attempt to overhaul the Christian faith.

In "Apostasy in America: An Overview of Warning Signs in Our Time," Dr. Peter Jones, Professor of Theology at Westminster Theological Seminary in California writes that in order for the,

"...pagan lie to succeed, it needs to look as much like the truth as it can. Hence the imperious necessity in the malevolent eschatology of spiritual darkness for the appearance of a new hybrid – 'Christian' paganism." (Jesus and the Den of Thieves, SCP Journal, Vol. 20:3-4, 1996, p. 15)

The foundation of Christian paganism is Darwinism.  The essence of Darwinism constituting its’ particular nature is neo-pagan naturalism.   Naturalism advocates a phony ‘truth claim’ positing the nonexistence of the one God in three Persons, Heaven, hell, man as God's spiritual image-bearer, angels, demons, immutable truth, moral law, meaning, and purpose resulting in human beings who are no longer Imago Dei but rather conscious products of evolution, mere descendants of lower creatures:

Darwinism came at the desired time; Darwin’s theory that man is the descendant of a lower animal destroyed the entire foundation of Christian dogma.” (Anton Pannekoek, ‘Marxism and Darwinism,” translated by Nathan Weiser. Transcribed for the internet by Jon Muller, Charles H. Kerr & Company Co-operative Copyright, 1912 by Charles H. Kerr & Co,)

Despite claims of evolutionary theologians to the contrary, Darwinism  "destroyed the entire foundation of Christian dogma," so whether they know it or not, Christians who embrace Darwinism unwittingly deny the deity of Jesus Christ since if Darwinism is true then our Savior is not the Second Person of the Trinity, God Incarnate, the Word Who created ex nihilo but rather a conscious product of evolution (1 John 2:22).

The Darwinian wrecking-ball does not stop there.

If Darwinism is true, there was no fall, so Lucifer is not Satan, there is no Original Sin, no hell, no Judgment, and since men are not sinners in need of a Savior, there is no reason why the very worst of our kind need fear doing whatever they want to do, no matter how evil, while in this world.

If Darwinism is true and Jesus is a conscious product of evolution, then there was neither Incarnation nor Resurrection, thus no "new heaven, and a new earth'" where God "shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, neither crying, neither...pain: for the first things are passed." (Rev. 21: 1, 4)

In conclusion, if Darwinism is true, the one God in three Persons does not exist since He and His Revealed Word are myths invented by stone-age hominids,  all of which makes the faithful the most miserable people of all, for they are left with nothing.

“In the beginning was the Word….”

J.R.R. Tolkien’s masterpiece, the “Silmarillion” is the book of beginnings, the all-important Genesis account that sets the stage for all that follows in the towers trilogy:

"There was Eru, the One, who in Arda is called Iluvatar; and he made first the Ainur, the Holy Ones, that were the offspring of his thought, and they were with him before aught else was made."  (p. 15)

Just as the Genesis account opens with creation ex nihilo, so does Tolkien’s account. In the beginning was Illuvatar, the Word who was, is, and always will be:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was God, and there was nothing made that was not made by Him.”

Iluvatar ‘thought,’ then he "sang living words," according to both Tolkien and CS Lewis in his "Magicians Nephew." As Iluvatar sings He instantaneously creates the things of His thought, thus all things are created in a precise order and after their own kind in six instantaneous acts of creation.

Returning to Genesis, we are told that the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. God Incarnate is Jesus Christ, God made flesh, the fulfillment and perfection of all prophecy from the very beginning, starting with Adam and Eve who received the knowledge of a coming Redeemer as well as the knowledge that the world would be destroyed two times, once by water, once by fire. Thus Jesus Christ in His office as prophet is the Angel of Prophecy who spoke to Moses in the desert, revealing to him the Genesis account ex nihilo.

Therefore, to embrace Darwinism is to logically deny all of the aforementioned as well as the deity of Jesus Christ, the incarnate Son of God, hence,

“…every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist . . . and even now already is it in the world” (1 John 4:3).

To reject the deity of Jesus is to deny man’s dire need of our Savior, the Physician of our souls. All who deny the deity of Jesus Christ deny the Physician and are of the spirit of antichrist, thus they deny His prescription and assign themselves to outer darkness.

The Antichrist

Vladimir Soloviev (1850-1900) was a brilliant Russian philosopher and theologian. In a gripping novel, “A Short Tale of the Antichrist” Soloviev offers both an amazingly accurate glimpse into the mind of the super-man who will become the Antichrist as well as illustrating the real obstacle to salvation, the refusal by proud, willful men to recognize and admit to their sinful condition.

Prior to his transformation by Satan, Soloviev describes the super-man as outwardly just, but within he is full of pride and is morally reprehensible:

“.... He believes in God but loves nobody but himself. His relationship with Christ was quickly defined as one of superiority (for he will never) bow before Him like the most stupid of Christians (nor) mutter senselessly....’Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me’....’I, the bright genius, the superman! No, never!” (The Wrath of God: The Days of Antichrist, Livio Fanzaga, pp. 39-40)

As the super-mans’ spiritual fall progresses, or evolves downward, instead of the former cold rational respect for Jesus Christ God Incarnate:

“.....there was born and grew in his heart, first, a kind of terror, and then a burning, choking and corroding envy and furious breath-taking hatred.” Devoured with envy of Jesus Christ he cries out “He rotted in the tomb, rotted like the lowest...” (ibid, pp. 40-41)

This is the moment the Evil One has been waiting for. He openly approaches the super-man and possesses him:

“He saw those piercing eyes and heard...a strange voice, toneless...stifled, and yet clear, metallic and absolutely soulless as though coming from a phonograph.” Satan pours out his spirit, saying, “I ask nothing of you, and I will help you for your own sake...Receive my spirit...it gives birth to you in power. At these words...the superman’s lips opened of themselves, two piercing eyes came quite close to his face, and he felt a sharp, frozen stream enter into him and fill his whole being. And at the same time he was conscious of a wonderful strength, energy, lightness and rapture.” (p. 43)

Soloviev masterfully portrays a striking contrast between the apostles of Christ and the Antichrist. The former receive the power of the living Word and are full of wisdom, virtue, truth, and courage while the latter receives the power of the devil and are full of nihilistic pride, contention, ingratitude, lies, burning envy, murderous hate, blasphemy, cursing, resentment, deception, covetousness, and perversion.

The Antichrist, as described by Soloviev, suffers the same massively inflated pride and envy that transformed Lucifer into the devil. This same pride and envy animated Cain, Judas, Nimrod, the pantheist sorcerer Hegel, the occult Luciferian Illuminati who planned and instigated the bloody French Revolution; Madame Blavatsky, Karl Marx, Nietzsche, Lenin, Stalin, Teilhard de Chardin, the West’s “God is dead” theologians, the Jesus Seminar gnostics and too many others to be named.

In the end, hell is the choice of proud, willful men, anti-christs who refuse to recognize and admit to their sinful condition. In affirmation, CS Lewis writes:

“There are only two kinds of people in the end: those who say to God, ‘Thy will be done,’ and those to whom God says, in the end, ‘Thy will be done.’ All that are in Hell chose it.”

The 'God' of New Age Mystery Religion

In "The Aquarian Conspiracy," a book that has been called 'the New Age Bible,' Marilyn Ferguson (1938-2008) enthusiastically reports that a great, shuddering irrevocable shift in consciousness is overtaking us,

"It is a new mind, a turnabout in consciousness in critical numbers of individuals, a network powerful enough to bring about radical change in our culture.   This network....has already enlisted the minds, hearts and resources of some of our most advanced thinkers, including Nobel laureate scientists, philosophers, statesmen, celebrities....who are working to create a different kind of society...The technologies for expanding and transforming personal consciousness, once the secret of an elite, are now generating massive change in every cultural institution---medicine, politics, business, education, religion and the family."   (America: The Sorcerer's New Apprentice, Hunt & McMahon, p. 34)

Ferguson lists a number of these consciousness altering techniques:

".....Meditation, Self-Hypnosis, Focusing, Centering, Guided Imagery, Visualization, Transcendental Meditation, Yoga, Biofeedback, Dianetics, Silva Mind Control..."  (America: Sorcerer's New Apprentice, p. 43)

Among other techniques for getting in touch with the "Christ consciousness" inner “Light,”  the "Force," seething energy of Lucifer or the angel (Lucifer) are strenuous physical exercises, special diets (especially vegetarianism), Kundalini yoga, brain-altering drugs, trance music, mind science, chanting, psychodrama, consciousness-raising strategies, hypnosis and self-hypnosis, body disciplines and therapies such as hatha yoga and aikido as well as sensitivity groups and encounter groups, Zen, Tibetan Buddhism and transcendental meditation and yoga.

The altered state of consciousness by which a man enters into communion with intelligent beings of the unseen world is called "opening of the senses" in Scripture:

"Then the Lord opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the way with his drawn sword in his hand."  (Numbers 22:31, also see 2 Kings 6:17; Luke 24:16-31)

According to the Watchman Expositor, hypnosis is linked to ancient religious practices and eastern mystical experiences, involving similar trance states or altered states of consciousness. Such altered states are essential to such practices as out-of-body experiences, astral projection, and Yoga. William Kroger, M.D. and William Fezler Ph.D. maintain that,

"...hypnosis has been practiced in one form or another in the civilized and uncivilized world under many different labels since the dawn of history."  (Hypnosis, James K. Walker, watchman.org)

They further note that historically elements of hypnosis have been an integral part of pagan religious practices and world religions including Assyro-Babylonian exorcism, Egyptian soothsaying, Jewish mysticism, Chinese Taoism , Sufism, Hinduism, Shintoism, forms of Buddhism (Tibetan and Zen), and Yoga. (Hypnosis and Behavior Modification, pp. 6-8; ibid).

In  'Recognitions'  church father Clement records an evil deed of the Gnostic pagan magician Simon that bears a striking resemblance to the effects of modern psycho-technologies.   Clement reports that Simon had begun to commit murder by inducing a child to experience an out of body situation.  By way of mesmerizing,

"...abominable incantations he separated the soul of a child from its own body, that it might become his assistant for the production of whatever apparition he might require.  And he drew a likeness of the boy, and keeps it set up in the inner chamber where he sleeps, affirming that he...formed him of air by transformations such as the gods cause..." (Earth's Earliest Ages, G.H. Pember, p. 181)

In his interpretation of this dark passage, G.H. Pember concluded,

"...by mesmerism Simon had drawn out the spirit of the boy into a higher...state, and then omitted to recall it, so that the spirit had finally separated from the body; and that he had done this for the purpose of procuring a (spirit) familiar....Simon....denied the murder of the boy by asserting that he had merely resolved a spirit-form which he had himself produced." (p. 182)

In his 'Apology'  church father Tertullian writes that if magicians can produce apparitions, bring into evil repute the spirits of men who are dead,

"....mesmerize boys to obtain an oracular response...perform many wonders...by their conjuring illusions; send dreams by the aiding power of angels and demons whom they have...summoned to their assistance; through whose influence also goats and tables have been made to divine; how much more will that Satanic power be zealous to do with all its strength, of its own will, and for its own purposes, that which it does to serve the ends of others." (Pember, pp. 184-185)

Former guru Rabindranath R. Maharaj, now a committed follower of Jesus Christ, describes his former meditation ritual and its' terrifying consequences:

"Nothing was more important than our daily transcendental meditation, the heart of Yoga, which Krishna advocated as the surest way to eternal Bliss. But it could also be dangerous. Frightening psychic experiences awaited the...meditator, similar to a bad trip on drugs. Demons described in the Vedas had been known to take possession of some Yogis. Kundalini power, said to be coiled like a serpent at the base of the spine, could produce ecstatic experiences when released in deep meditation — or...it could do great mental and bodily harm. The line between ecstasy and horror was very fine...During daily meditation I began to have visions of psychedelic colors, to hear unearthly music, and to visit exotic planets where the gods conversed with me, encouraging me to attain even higher states of consciousness. Sometimes in my trance I encountered the same horrible demonic creatures...depicted by the images in Hindu, Buddhist, Shinto, and other religious temples. It was a frightful experience, but the Brahmacharya explained that it was normal and urged me to pursue the quest for Self Realization. At times I experienced a sense of mystical unity with the universe. I was the universe, Lord of all, omnipotent, omnipresent. My instructors were excited at this. I was obviously a chosen vessel, destined for early success in the search for union with Brahman. The Forces that had guided my father were now guiding me." (Death of a Guru, Rabindranath R. Maharaj, pp. 56-57)

As Rabindranath testifies, attaining an altered state of consciousness portends spiritual danger, as in such a state of mind, demons can interfere with and even possess the passive or empty mind.  Hence, meditation serves as an open doorway into the realm of evil spirits and dangerous demonic deceptions.

In a synthetic way, hallucinogenic drugs also assist users to experience an altered state of consciousness. There are as well certain types of music, such as trance and heavy metal that enhance and in many cases produce in the mind and spirit of the listener an altered state, hence spiritual transformation.

In secularized Westerners and unwary Christians alike, altered states by whatever means eventually end in altered world view:

"Self-induced, mind-emptying and mind-altering disciplines/devices desensitize the Christian's sensitivity to biblical reality as the mind abandons its defenses and letting go of restraints, no longer can discern truth from error.   Mind-emptying meditation, like that promoted in sensitivity training groups related to the Human Potential Movement, has as its philosophical foundation the mantra of, 'accept anything as valid.'  So there is to be no questioning (there are no wrong answers), challenging or negativity expressed against the new sensitivities.  To this end, entering an altered state of consciousness serves to anesthetize persons against discernment as they are overcome by a lax, apathetic and permissive state of mind.  This happens in spite of the biblical call to be sober-minded." (ibid, DeBruyn)

As it was in the days of Noah

As Ferguson admits, the psycho-technologies being taught over and across our culture were once the private domain of ancient magicians and sorcerers.   In fact, as Constance Cumbey reveals in her thoroughly researched book, "The Hidden Dangers of the Rainbow," many New Age historians claim their traditions originated in pre-flood Atlantis (during the time of Noah) and afterward were preserved in the ancient land of Babylon,

"...and surrounding Plains of Shinar and from there disseminated throughout the earth, including Taoist doctrines of China, Mayan-Aztec teachings of Mexico and Central/South America; Great Spirit teachings of the American Indians, Hindu/Buddhist teachings of Asia, etc" (pp. 250-251)

In affirmation, Church Father Clement writes:

The Tower of Babel was Babylon's founding edifice and spiritual center, observes Brooks Alexander, Research Director for Spiritual Counterfeits Project.  Brooks describes the Tower as an astral temple,

"....representing the structure of reality. As the 'cosmic mountain' it tied heaven and earth together.  It was the all-inclusive image of the totality of the universe." (The Big Lie, SCP Journal 29:2-29:3, 2005, Tal Brooke, p. 11)

The magical meaning of the Temple is the ancient Egyptian Hermetic principle of the macrocosm's correlation with the microcosm, "as above, so below" symbolized by the Ouroboros – the great chain of being and cosmic tree of life.  "Below" corresponds to the Tower and 'above' to a number of different astral planes and sub-planes comprising the habitations,

"(of all) supernatural entities, the locale of gods and demons, the void where the thoughtforms dwell, the region inhabited by spirits of the air and other elements, and the various heavens and hells with their angelic and demonic hosts....With the help of ritual procedures, trained persons believe that they can 'rise on the planes,' and experience these regions in full awareness." ("Beyond the Body: The Human Double and the Astral planes, Benjamin Walker, 1974, pp. 117-8)

From the time of Nimrod to our own, the serpent-energized Ouroboros with its astral planes has been well-known around the world in its' many esoteric (occult secret) traditions:

"References to this reality are the Dreaming of the Australian Aborigines, the Spirit-world of Shamanism, the Duart of the ancient Egyptians, the Bardo (Intermediate State) of the Tibetans, the Imaginal world of Islamic Esotericism – e.g. the Barzakh (Interworld) or of Suhrawardi and the Mithal (Imaginal realm) of Ibn Arabi – the Universe of Asiyah of some Kabbalists, or of Yetzirah according to others. Other descriptions are the Nervo degree of the Physical State of Theon, the Astral or 2nd Prakritic plane (corresponding to the Linga Sharira or Subtle or Astral body) and the Kama (Desire-Plane) of Blavatsky, the Astral Plane of the Adyar school of Theosophy and of popular occultism, Rudolf Steiner's "Soul World"; and the Vital and Subtle Physical described by Sri Aurobindo and Mirra. These are just a few of the innumerable descriptions of this plane of existence." (The Astral Plane, kheper.net)

Brooks adds that in the,

"….ritual act of ascending the astral altar, the priests acted out the stages of god-realization and the inner meaning of mankind's oneness with the cosmos.  The Babylonian monarch was the focus of the occult power channeled through the activities of the priesthood.  He was regarded as a divine being, a god-man."  (ibid, The Big Lie, p. 10)

In other words, with the help of spirit guides, psycho-technologies and other occult rituals, initiates believed they could spiritually rise or evolve up the astral planes to visit the realm of the gods and become the mouth-pieces for the gods and goddesses.

According to occult lore, at the final level of initiation spirit entities fully possess the body of the monarch (i.e., Nimrod) to replace his spirit. This means that the spirit of the monarch is no longer in residence as a 'new' spirit inhabits and animates the monarch's body.  This is why the monarch thereafter was regarded as a divine being, a god-man.

Upon possession of the monarch's body, the possessing spirit or spirit's exude a powerful mesmerizing influence that draws most of the community into its' sphere of influence and domination resulting in communal possession.

Possession takes two forms, communal and individual:

"...central possession is communal, strongly institutionalized, and ritualistically induced, but peripheral possession is more normally individual and spontaneous." (Demonic Possession: A Medical, Historical, Anthropological, and Theological Symposium, John Warwick Montgomery (ed.), Bethany,1976)

Inducing Communal Possession

Dr. Martin Erdmann, in his key article "The Spiritualization of Science, Technology, and Education in a One-World Society," explains how achieving altered consciousness is a primary agenda of the evolutionary pantheist Human Potential Movement:

"Inspired in part by Aldous Huxley's publications and his advocacy of psychedelic drugs, intellectuals such as Willis W. Harman emphasized irrational meditative/mind emptying exercises, or the use of hallucinogens as a more congenial basis for scientific and technological progress.  Calling for a new metaphysic of science/technology, the proponents of the Human Potential Movement perceive the religious heritage of the West---based on Christian premises---as the greatest impediment of an evolving "cosmic conscience."   In gaining a more comprehensive understanding of the spiritual and material processes of the universe, a mystically inclined elite of technically enhanced human mutants would be able to usher in a homogenous world socialist society, perhaps not altogether different from the one envisioned in Brave New World."   (Altered States: A Different Gate, Sarah Leslie and Pastor Larry DeBruyn, Apr. 28, 2011, Herescope)

Psycho-technology in many guises is now moving with an almost irresistible force over and across post-Christian America and the West transforming the consciousness of Westerners and Americans away from the personal Triune God and toward a new spirituality and perdition.  Mainstream media took note and reported:

"Neopaganism Growing Quickly: Numbers Roughly Double Every 18 Months in United States, Canada, and Europe." (Denver Post, June 26, 2008; How Evil Works: Understanding and Overcoming the Destructive Forces that are Transforming America, David Kupelian, p. 115)

"Sorcery Sells, and the Young are Buying" (ibid, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, June 10, 2007)

"Wicca is Believed to be One of the Fastest-Growing Religions Among High School and College Students" (ibid, National Public Radio, May 13, 2004)

According to a 1987 New York Times article, psychologists who have studied these mind-altering techniques said that while participants are in this 'altered state' group-leaders are able to implant new ideas and alter thinking processes:

"Gurus hired to motivate workers are raising fears of 'mind control." (America: Sorcerer's New Apprentice, Hunt, McMahon)

This charge is so grave and frightening that former University of Wisconsin psychology faculty member Edwin Morse warns that graduates of New Age courses being required for employees of many businesses are often "psychologically scarred."  Now in private practice and specializing in helping such people, Dr. Morse declares:

"These (mind-altering) groups are using hypnotic procedures and people are not being told about it." (Dave Hunt, p. 42)

Richard L. Waring of Budget Rent-a-Car Corporation asserts that mind-altering techniques induce a trance-like state and adds that many participants are convinced that they have come under harmful, frightening influence from spirit entities as a result.  Arguing that people exposed by employers to,

"New Age psycho-technologies (for) altering normal consciousness....ought to be told up front" that inevitably their "fundamental worldviews and Judeo-Christian religious beliefs' are being tampered with.

Waring adds,

"For about the last three years, I have observed the introduction and growth of a new philosophy of human potential and development (most often referred to) as the 'New Age' movement... I began noticing a number of consultants and corporate Human Resources Development practitioners who were promoting 'higher creativity,' 'improved memory,' 'accelerated learning,' 'stress management.'  I found that most of these methods were somewhere on Ferguson's list of 'means to altering consciousness'(and) I began to wonder about the motives of the persons selling these concepts. Were they really out to improve human potential? Or had they had some profound experience on their spiritual journey and were really enlisting others to follow their path?" (ibid, pp. 42-43)

New Age spirituality is at work within churches and schools as well:

"Your unconscious mind (has a) power that turns wishes into realities when the wishes are strong enough." ("Positive Imaging," Norman Vincent Peale, 1982, p. 77)

Word Faith teacher Kenneth Copeland tells people to visualize any image,

"...that you get down inside you that is so vivid when you close your eyes you see it, it'll come to pass. When God came at the Tower of Babel, He said, 'Anything they can imagine, they can do." (Inner Image of the Covenant, side 2, Copeland)

In our schools children are being taught the ancient occult art of "centering," a psycho-technique that opens up the minds of children to the influence of demons.  In his book, "America's Schools: The Battleground for Freedom," Allen Quist warns:

"New Age religion is now aggressively being taught in our nation's public schools." A model curriculum has been developed that "is clearly centered on pantheism." "Much of what passes for environmental education and multiculturalism is really indoctrination in pantheistic/New Age theology. The ACLU and other similar organizations have no objections to (pantheistic indoctrination). It is only Christianity that these organizations object to." (p. 51)

Tom DeWeese, President of the American Policy Center, has also been following the explosive growth of occult New Age spirituality. In a work entitled, "Teachers, Preachers and Greens: The Unholy Alliance to Transform America," DeWeese reveals the existence of a well-funded yet covert effort to alter the consciousness of American society through an aggressive assault on schools and churches.  He reveals that the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City is one of the initiating centers of the assault and the home of the enormously influential occult spiritual Gaia Institute as well as the Temple of Understanding — a politically influential U.N. Non-Governmental Organization. DeWeese describes a pagan "church service" at St. John the Divine:

"As the congregation sit in their church pews in the great Cathedral of St. John, the Divine in New York City, the priest stands at the alter, ready to receive a procession of animals for the annual Feast of Saint Francis blessing. Down the aisle comes a procession of elephants, camels, donkeys, monkeys and birds. These are followed by members of the congregation carrying bowls of compost and worms. Next, to the sounds of music, come acrobats and jugglers. In the pulpit, former Vice President Al Gore delivers a sermon, saying, "God is not separate from the Earth." (federalobserver.com)

So-called 'extraterrestrials' are also at work.   In "Alien Intrusion: UFOs and the Evolution Connection," Gary Bates reports that the abduction phenomenon is occurring all over the world, including Third World countries.

UFO researcher Jacques Vallee concurs and notes that the abductee's perceptions of reality (consciousness) are being profoundly altered and adds that the structure of abduction stories is identical to occult rituals:

"...contact with ufonauts (is) a modern extension of contact with non-human consciousness in the form of angels, demons, elves, and sylphs....Such contact...often leaves marks and scars on the body and the mind..."   (p. 230)

UFO research-scientist John Keel also likens modern alien abductions to contact with the demonic:

"Demonology is not just another crackpot-ology.  It is the ancient and scholarly study of the monsters and demons who have...coexisted with man throughout history....The manifestations and occurrences described in this imposing literature are similar, if not..identical, to the UFO phenomenon.  Victims of demonomania (possession) suffer the very same medical and emotional symptoms as the UFO contactees..."  (Alien Intrusion: UFOs and the Evolution Connection, Gary Bates, p. 260)

After considerable research, Bates connects psycho-techniques utilized by ‘ETs” to hypnosis.  So-called 'aliens' use hypnotic methods to enter into the subconscious mind to plant subliminal messages and alter thought processes to embrace the concept of naturalistic evolution which negates the Genesis account. (Bates, p. 262)

Individual and Communal Possession

Today anthropologists, scientific psychiatrists, and other professionals from the counseling and medical field take very seriously the fact that something frightening and unexplainable by Western science is going on here in America and throughout the West. In their search for answers they are jettisoning as useless materialist explanations. A "new" consensus is emerging: Men have souls and demons really do exist:

"...we need to understand a number of different concepts in order to comprehend the worldwide phenomenon of possession and exorcism. On the psychological level, we have come to know the notion underlying all possession, namely, that the body is a shell, inhabited by a soul, and that this shell may on occasion be surrendered to an intrusive alien entity. " (How about Demons? Possession and Exorcism in the Modern World, Felicitas Goodman. IndianaUpress:1988)

Global Mystery Religion

The Book of Genesis informs us that before the great flood the antediluvian world was in a frenzy of wickedness, no doubt aided and abetted by the Watchers.   God's wrath fell upon that world while a remnant was preserved in the ark.   But scarcely had the waters receded when Ham rediscovered and resurrected the teachings of the Watchers from the antediluvian world.  Utilizing these teachings, Nimrod turned the people away from the worship of God and revived the necessary elements of Mystery Religion Atlantis to establish his own post-flood version.

While Mystery Religion Babylon is the post-flood root of all mystery religions, in its' final version, communal and individual possession will become a global phenomenon as untold millions of people ritualistically act out the stages of god-realization and the inner meaning of mankind's oneness with the cosmos:

".....I can be saved only by becoming one with the universe. Thereby, too, my deepest 'pantheist' aspirations. It was especially the image of God which Teilhard saw in need of urgent redefinition. Modern man has not yet found the God he can adore, A God commensurate to the newly discovered dimensions of the universe." (Towards a New Mysticism, Teilhard de Chardin and Eastern Religions, Ursula King, p. 172

Once again, but this time on a universal scale, humankind is seeking no less than its reunion with the ‘divine,’ its transcendence into ever higher forms of life.  Hindus call our earth Brahma, or God, for they rightly see no difference between our earth and the divine.  This ancient simple truth is slowly dawning again upon humanity.  Its full flowering will be the real, great new story of humanity as we are about to enter our cosmic age...” (New Genesis: Shaping a Global Spirituality,  Robert Muller, father of Core Curriculum, 1984, p. 84)

But as they spiritually rise on the astral planes who is the god they will become "one" with?

New Age spirituality relies heavily on the spirit revelations channeled through Helena Blavatsky, Alice Bailey, Muller, Marx Hubbard, and Neale Donald Walsh. Of these it is Blavatsky who reveals this closely guarded secret.

Blavatsky, the founder of Theosophy and a leading Masonic thinker, wrote in her book “The Secret Doctrine” volume II:

"….it is but natural…to view Satan, the Serpent of Genesis, as the real creator and benefactor, the Father of Spiritual mankind. For it is he who was the “Harbinger of Light” bright radiant Lucifer, who opened the eyes of the automaton created by Jehovah, as alleged; and he who was the first to whisper: “in the day ye eat thereof, ye shall be as Elohim, knowing good and evil” – can only be regarded in the light of a Saviour….”  (Theosophical University Press, 1888, p. 243, 513 cited by Paul Trog in "Who is their god? paultrog.com)

“And now it stands proven that Satan, or the Red Fiery Dragon, the “Lord of Phosphorus” (brimstone was a theological improvement), and Lucifer, or “Light Bearer,” is in us: It is our Mind – our tempter and Redeemer, our intelligent liberator and Savior from pure animalism. Without this principle… we would be surely no better than animals

Now we know why leading New Age Mystery Religion adepts speak of the necessity of the Luciferian initiation for all who wish to enter the coming New Age.

Revelation reports that at some point the whole world will become drunk on the wine of Babylon, its' deluded celebrants convinced of their own deity when in reality they've received the mark of Satan.

The clearest answer to the chaotic conditions of our times is found in the Bible.  We are living in the Last Days.  History is winding down and Satan is mobilizing his forces for a final all-out assault--- which we are already experiencing (1 Tim. 4:1 and 2; Tim. 3:1-4)  The demonic realm is brazenly interacting with our own realm, and it is in this light that we can understand the growing epidemic of madness, extremism, suicide, depression, apathy, apostasy, lawlessness, and hatred appearing on every side.

We are living in the days of a demonic nature, said Dr. Kurt Koch (1913-1987).  For over fifty years Dr. Koch's name has been synonymous with authoritative and biblical insights and help for all who desire to understand or escape from the mesmerizing influence of the occult and demonic world.

Civilization is marching toward its own destruction said Koch, and if we fail therefore to take our stand at the foot of the cross,

"... fail to build our house upon the Rock, (we will) be swept away by the turmoil of the End-times."  (Demonology Past and Present, Koch, p. 37)

The Ancient Myth of Evolution: Sumeria to Darwin and Occult New Age

The theme which unites ancient Sumeria to Darwinian scientific humanism, Big Bang assumptions, Luciferian Theosophy, liberal theology, occult New Age mysticism and all other anti-Christian but specifically anti-creation ex nihilo movements is the myth of evolution.

The myth of evolution stretches back to antiquity where it is closely connected to the idea that man is a being who though presently limited in time and space is nevertheless capable of achieving a great leap of being and evolving into a much more powerful god-like being in the future.   Thus in the Epic of Gilgamesh, an epic poem from Babylonia (ancient Sumeria) Gilgamesh describes himself as two-parts god and one-part man as the result of the evolution of his being.

Long before Darwin, Greek nature philosophers (600–100BC) were teaching primitive evolutionary conceptions, abiogenesis, natural selection, transmigration, reincarnation and vast ages together with many other modern assumptions. The fragments of Anaximander (c. 610–546 BC) show that he taught that ‘humans originally resembled another type of animal, namely fish’ while Democritus (c.460–370BC) taught that primitive people began to speak with ‘confused’ and ‘unintelligible’ sounds but ‘gradually they articulated words.

The Greek Atomist Epicurus (341–270BC), the father of contemporary materialism and many of its’ modern assumptions, taught that there was no need of a God or gods, for the Universe came about by a chance movement of atoms. (Evolution: An Ancient Pagan Idea, Paul James Griffith, creation.com)

Darwinism affirms the claim made by Epicurus that living beings created themselves, making Darwinism a modern Gnostic myth, said Dr. Wolfgang Smith, physicist and mathematics professor at Oregon State University:

"...As a scientific theory, Darwinism would have been jettisoned long ago. The point, however, is that the doctrine of evolution has swept the world, not on the strength of its scientific merits, but precisely in its capacity as a Gnostic myth. It affirms, in effect, that living things created themselves, which is in essence a metaphysical claim....Thus...evolutionism is a metaphysical doctrine decked out in scientific garb....it is a scientistic myth. And the myth is Gnostic, because it implicitly denies the transcendent origin of being; for indeed, only after the living creature has been speculatively reduced to an aggregate of particles does Darwinist transformism become conceivable. Darwinism, therefore, continues the ancient Gnostic practice of deprecating 'God the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth.' It perpetuates...the venerable Gnostic tradition of 'Jehovah bashing.'" (From Old Gnosticism to New Age I, Alan Morrison, SCP Journal Vol. 28:4-29:1, 2005, pp. 30-31)

With respect to long ages, Plato and many other Greek philosophers taught that the present Universe came about millions of years ago. Writing in the fourth century AD, Lactantius said:

Plato and many others of the philosophers, since they were ignorant of the origin of all things, and of that primal period at which the world was made, said that many thousands of ages had passed since this beautiful arrangement of the world was completed … .“ (ibid)

After the Greeks, the Roman naturalist Pliny the Elder (AD23–79) said we are so subject to chance,

“….that Chance herself takes the place of God; she proves that God is uncertain.” (ibid)

Greek and Roman philosophers received these ideas from ancient Sumerians (Babylonians), Egyptians and Hindus, whose nature philosophies extended back centuries before Greek and Roman civilization.  For example, one Hindu belief was that Brahman (the Void or Universe) spontaneously generated itself (the modern theory of abiogenesis) as something like a seed or singularity about 4.3 billion years ago and then evolved under its’ own power by which it expanded and formed all that exists:

These Hindus believed in an eternal Universe that had cycles of rebirth, destruction and dormancy, known as ‘kalpas’, rather like oscillating big bang theories. We also read in the Hindu Bhagavad Gita that the god Krishna says, ‘I am the source from which all creatures evolve.” (ibid, Griffith)

In India the doctrine of evolution/reincarnation/karma was thoroughly established from ancient times.  It was expounded first in the Upanishads (c. 1000 BC - AD 4), the philosophical-mystic texts held to be the essence of the Vedas.

The idea that the soul reincarnates is intricately linked to karma, the idea that jiva-atmas (souls) pass from one plane of existence to another and carry with them samskaras (impressions) from former states of being. These karmic impressions on the soul are taken to the next life and result in a causally-determined state of being. In some schools of Hinduism liberation from the cycle of death and rebirth (samsara), is considered the ultimate goal of earthly existence. This is known as Moksha in Hinduism or nirvana in Buddhism.  Other traditions assert that liberation from samsara is merely the beginning of real spiritual life and beyond nirvana, activities continue, but are no longer of a worldly nature. Both sides agree on the phenomenon of evolution/reincarnation.

In its modern version Darwinian evolution describes the progress (or transmigration) of energy as it emerged out of spontaneously generated matter (chemicals) and its successive incarnations within the bodies of different kinds of nonlife-bearing and life-bearing beings over the course of millions and billions of years.   Its counterpart, spiritual evolution, bespeaks the progress of spirit or divine spark as it reincarnates within the bodies of different beings over the course of millions and billions of years. In the words of Emergent Church leader Rob Bell, evolution is energy,

"…. a spark, an electricity that everything is plugged into. 144-145)

For Mystery Religion initiates and adepts evolution spiritually transforms man into superman:

"….the evolution of man into superman — was always the purpose of the ancient Mysteries, and the real purpose of modern Masonry is not the social and charitable purposes to which so much attention is paid, but the expediting of the spiritual evolution of those who aspire to perfect their own nature and transform it into a more god-like quality. And this is a definite science, a royal art, which it is possible for each of us to put into practice..." (The Meaning of Masonry, W.L. Wilmhurst, p. 47)

Evolution is an animated energy, serpent power or force which may or may not be divine depending on whether it is of the ‘secular’ Darwinian school of thought or of its’ spiritually pantheist counterpart.  In either case, this energy usually emanates from an impersonal substance which from antiquity has been known variously as the Void, Chaos, Ground of Being, and Brahman for example.

Evolution: the Antithesis of Christianity

May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Thessalonians 5:23).

According to Christian tradition, man is a tri-partite being, a person consisting of spirit/soul and body because he is the spiritual image bearer of the One God in three Persons.

In this view, the soul is fully embedded within the body and its citadel, spirit (mind, will, conscience), is the part of man that distinguishes him from mere animal life and enables him to have a personal relationship with God, who is spirit (John 4:24).   Each of these parts of man’s nature are vitally connected and important in making him who he is: a person.    Thus all human beings are people, not evolved bags of chemicals, robotic humanoids, descendants of pig/chimp hybrids, human resources, or mere aspects of the World Soul as Darwinism and pantheism respectively maintain.

In this respect Christianity differs radically from ancient pagan and modern Gnostic pagan dualistic systems that find expression in ancient and modern Mystery Religions (i.e., Masonry), Darwinism, Gnostic-pagan Marxist Communism and occult New Age and Eastern religions such as Hinduism and Buddhism, where the body (physical matter) is regarded as something evil in which essence, energy, mind-stream, or perhaps divine spark is imprisoned and from which it must eventually escape.

In these views death means either annihilation (reabsorption) , or thousands of death and life cycles of evolution/reincarnation with the hope of eventual escape from the wheel of evolution/reincarnation with either apotheosis or absorption into Nirvana.

In Romans 8, Paul speaks of our adoption as “sons of God” through receiving the indwelling Spirit (v. 15). He goes on to say that this adoption will one day include “the redemption of our bodies” (v. 23). James Packer, in “I Want to Be a Christian,” sums up the New Testament idea of bodily resurrection in these words:

The raising of the body means the restoring of the person—not just part of me—to active, creative and undying life for God and with God.” (Resurrection, not Reincarnation, Christianity.co.nz)

While Darwinism speaks of annihilation and its’ pantheist counterparts bespeak millions of death and life cycles, the Bible speaks of just one life followed by death and judgment:

“Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment” (Hebrews 14:6).

For post-Christian Westerners and Americans the most tempting of all reasons for embracing evolution and either annihilation or reincarnation over resurrection is that in doing away with Original Sin, it does away with the need of a Saviour as the fall is not ethical but into physical matter thus there is neither judgment nor the prospect of damnation to an eternal hell.

As a philosophical construct, Eastern oriented and Mystery Religion systems of evolution/reincarnation imply an ethical type of evolution by which an individual gradually evolves into moral perfection. And since God is a pantheist conception whereby man has a share of the Divine Substance, meaning God is the mind of man, then man controls his own moral evolution since he is god.

The Revealed Word, beginning with the Genesis account of creation ex nihilo negates both Darwinian and pantheist ideas and Hebrews 9:25-28  demolishes annihilation and reincarnation with its' clear warning to man:  you have only one lifetime in which to get right with God. Jesus Christ did not enter heaven to offer Himself again and again and again on behalf of millions of opportunities (lives),

Otherwise Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world.  But he has appeared once for all at the culmination of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself.  Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.”

The Revealed Word therefore, speaks not of evolution/reincarnation but of  creation ex nihilo and bodily resurrection, the recreation of the body.   In 2 Cor. 5 Paul describes our current bodies as tents, temporary dwellings that we will leave for a new permanent house, a new suit of clothes:

“Our bodies are like tents that we live in here on earth.  But when these tents are destroyed, we know that God will give each of us a place to live.  These homes will not be buildings that someone has made, but they are in heaven and will last forever….As long as we are in these bodies we are away from the Lord…..But whether we are at home with the Lord or away from him, we still try our best to please him.  After all, Christ will judge each of us for the good or bad that we do while living in these bodies.” (2 Cor. 5:1-10)

Professor D.M. Mackay of Keele University, who was one of Britain’s foremost experts in the communications systems of the human brain, summarizes Paul’s teaching, saying that in opposition to evolution/reincarnation, it is not as disembodied spirits,

“…that God promises us eternal life, but as personalities expressed in a new kind of body---what Paul calls a ‘spiritual body.’  Just as a message is still the same message, whether it’s spoken in words or flashed in morse code, so, according to the Bible, we shall be the same persons, whatever the material form in which our personalities may be expressed.  Nothing in the scientific picture of man, however complete it may one day become, could affect the truth of this doctrine one way or another.”  (ibid, Resurrection, not Reincarnation)

It has often been said that those who forget history and its’ lessons are doomed to repeat its’ follies. Solomon could very well have been warning us about the reappearance in our time of a very ancient folly, the myth of evolution/reincarnation when he wrote:

What has been is what will be, and what has been done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun.   Is there a thing of which it is said, ‘See, this is new?’  It has been already in the ages before us.   There is no remembrance of former things, nor will there be any remembrance of later things yet to be among those who come after.” (Ecclesiastes 1: 9-11)

Natural Science & Evolution: the Science Magic & Pagan Religion of Sophistical Naturalists

By the close of WW II, Richard Weaver and countless other classical liberals, progressives, socialists, communists and Christian intellectuals apprehensively discerned that the Western civilized nations were on the road to breakdown and totalitarianism. Suffering "progressive disillusionment," Weaver was led to ponder the fallacies of modernist ideas that had produced the holocaust of evil visited upon the world from WW I to WW II. By late 1945, Weaver published his conclusions in his book, "Ideas Have Consequences."

The subject of Weaver's book was "the dissolution of the West." Its deterioration was traced by Weaver to the late 14th century when Churchmen and like-minded intellectuals had made an "evil decision."  Enticed by William of Occam's (d. c. 1349) philosophy of nominalism, they rebelled against transcendent "universals," thus the position that "there is a source of truth higher than, and independent of, man..." The consequences of this revolution in ideas were catastrophic:

"The denial of everything transcending experience means inevitably...the denial of truth. With the denial of objective truth there is no escape from the relativism of 'man is the measure of all things." (The Conservative Intellectual Movement in America, George H. Nash, pp. 30-33)

As the downward spiral continued the Holy God was conceptually murdered, the supernatural dimension shut-down and a one-dimensional view of Nature held up as the supreme reality. The Genesis account of creation ex nihilo was eclipsed by evolution and the doctrine of original sin replaced by the "goodness of man." With only the physical world of the senses held to be real, supernatural Christianity declined, sophistry arose and natural science became the most prestigious way to study man. With knowledge limited to the sensory realm, man's spiritual attributes (soul/spirit, mind, conscience, will), were soon lost in an endless cycle of biological reductionism and determinism. Man, created in the spiritual likeness of his living, personal Creator would be lost. In his place would stand the soulless human ape, an accidental emergent product of mindless evolutionary energy.

Weaver dubbed this way of thinking the "spoiled-child psychology" of modern man who had "not been made to see the relationship between reward and effort." This orgy of mindlessness is traceable to certain terrible-willed modernists who, no longer wanting to be created in the spiritual likeness of their Creator, had failed to achieve an integrated world picture, a "metaphysical dream," said Weaver.

Weaver concluded with an ominous warning:

"…the closer man stands to ruin, the duller grows his realization (for) the annihilation of spiritual being precedes the destruction of temple walls." (The Conservative Intellectual Movement in America, George H. Nash, pp. 30-33)

What this means with respect to man is that natural science methodically reduces soul to body (matter/DNA), spirit (mind) to grey matter and the cognitive abilities of mind (i.e., reason, memory, will) to movement of chemicals and firing of neurons in grey matter.  Furthermore, as everything is subject to the animated law of evolution, then everything from the Bible, creation ex nihilo, Jesus Christ, Heaven, hell, Christian faith, transcendent truth and moral law, the two created sexes, the Constitution, unalienable rights, and our nation’s sovereignty must be subjected to change because all things spontaneously emanate from matter in motion.  Thus Corliss Lamont declares that within the worldview of humanist naturalism,

There is no place…for either immortality or God (because naturalism) contends that instead of the gods creating the cosmos, the cosmos, in the individualized form of human beings giving rein to their imagination, created the gods.”  (The Philosophy of Humanism, 1982)

In other words, as everything spontaneously emanates from animated matter (the cosmos)  and man is animated matter in an individualized human form then his imagination is a curious product of animated cosmos (thinking chemicals and neurons) making god an evolving product of cosmos working within the cosmic imagination of cosmic man.

Ninety years before Richard Weaver sounded his ominous warning, the 19th century Danish philosopher and theologian Soren Kierkegaard (1813-1855) was one of the most systematically and clear-eyed enemies of natural science.  His assertion that the sophistical naturalist mind is in fact the inability of spiritually dead natural man to transcend the natural dimension is an abbreviated and precise definition of natural science.

In “The Present Age,” Kierkegaard’s cutting satire aimed at natural science, he scornfully calls it “the increasing mass of drivel which is called science….”  Invoking the authority of Socrates he writes:

If the natural sciences had been developed in Socrates day as they are now, all the sophists would have been scientists.  One would have hung a microscope outside his shop in order to attract custom, and then would have had a sign painted saying, ‘Learn and see through a giant microscope how a man thinks’ (and on reading the advertisement Socrates would have said: ‘that is how men who do not think behave.’) (Aeschliman, p. 30, 31)

It is impossible for us to understand natural science and its primary doctrine evolution unless we see it through the worldview lens of the pantheist/materialist occult magic and animism that emerged out of the Renaissance.

In his two books, “The Occult Underground: The Dawn of the New Age” and “The Occult Establishment,” historian James Webb chronicles the rise of an occult intelligentsia together with natural science and evolution as it emerged out of the Renaissance, a spiritually traumatic time when many Churchmen and Christian intellectuals eagerly embraced mystical Cabalism, the doctrine of emanation, Hermeticism, Buddhism, alchemy, Gnosticism, reincarnation and evolution sweeping into Christendom at that time.   Webb’s book, “The Occult Underground” was originally called “Flight from Reason” because Renaissance apostates had turned back to occultism, the science of magic.

Under the term occultism are included various practices broadly categorized as animism, astrology, divination (called channeling today), fetishism, and shamanism. Underlying all of these is magic.

Magic, or goetia, is generally understood to be an interference with the normal 'way things work' in the course of nature. It is the ancient practice whose goal is to acquire godlike powers by breaking the created order of nature with the goal of unpatterning and undesigning its patterns and designs so as to uncreate creation and then replace the broken created order with a second reality which is really an illusion.

Generally this is done by way of alchemical formulas and speaking magic words (invocations, incantations), through gestures, secret rituals, and other mysterious actions knowable only to magicians, wizards, gurus, god-men, shamans, witches, sorcerers, and other such adepts who claim to possess deep inner-gnosis and even psychic powers.

Natural science and/or methodological naturalism and Darwinism are forms of goetia that break and unpattern the patterns of creation.  This process begins with the inversion of creation and the breaking and unpatterning of the substance of God so as to redistribute His Divine Substance throughout nature. The end result is pantheism/animism.  In a similar fashion, Imago Dei is broken and unpatterned as God’s spiritual image bearer so as to further endow brute matter with man’s spiritual endowments.

In Disraeli’s novel Lothair, the Monsignore describes what has become of man after sophistical naturalists have broken and unpatterned him:

Instead of Adam, our ancestry is traced to the most grotesque of creatures; thought is phosphorous, the soul complex nerves, and our moral sense a secretion of sugar.” (Aeschliman. P. 33)

The return to the ancient science of magic chronicled by Webb produced two currents of animism: Eastern/occult pantheism and reincarnation and scientific materialism and/or natural science and evolution.

Essentially, animism is an ancient superstition holding that not only is all of nature and/or matter animated — including both living and non-living things — but that the animating force or spirit conveys power and influence. Western New Age occult-pantheism speaks of the animating spirit of evolution as the angel Lucifer, while its secular counterpart, scientific materialism speaks of miracle-producing ‘thinking’ energies or even the seething energies of Lucifer that subject everything to change, cause matter to think, choose, and act; cause god to emerge from cosmos, animate and inform memes, genes, chance, causation, determinism, DNA, chemicals and neurons, for example.

Furthermore, all religions and belief systems are true because an animated divine-force suffuses and energizes all things.  By extension of this perverse reasoning, Gaia is alive, and Gnosticism, Satanism, Wicca, Theosophy, and Sharia are true.  This is syncretism (moral relativism), the uniting of good and evil, truth and lie, the holy and the unholy.  R.J. Rushdoony writes:

"Now syncretism is destructive of the human mind, of rationality...(A) man who wants to unite good and evil...has lost the capacity for clear thinking.  His mind is darkened, clouded, fuzzed over, and incompetent....Man, by presuming to be god, has by that act destroyed the possibility of true thinking; from so radically false a premise, no valid conclusion can follow."  ("Why Is Rick Warren Waffling?" Lee Duigon, Chalcedon)

Animism: the Mystical Energy of Matter and Evolution

Enrico Ferri (1856-1926), a prominent socialist of his day, and an Italian criminologist who for many years was the editor of Avanti, a socialist daily. Writing in "Socialism and Religious Beliefs," Ferri excitedly babbles about the miracle-producing ‘thinking’ energies animating nonliving ideological systems such as socialism.  Note that he endows natural or positive science with divine 'choice-making' ability:

"....modern positive science...has substituted the conception of natural causality for the conception of miracles and divinity....I add that not only is Darwinism not contrary to socialism, but that it forms one of its fundamental scientific premises. As Virchow justly remarked, socialism is nothing else than the logical and vital outcome partly of Darwinism and partly of Spencerian evolution."  (www.marxists.org/archive/ferri/1894/religion.htm)

In the following example, Gustav Wetter expounds on the magical force animating, perfecting and informing nonliving thinking or dialectical matter,

"...matter itself continually attains to higher perfection under its own power, thanks to indwelling dialectic...the dialectical materialists attribution of 'dialectic' to matter confers on it, not mental attributes only, but even divine ones." (Dialectical Materialism, Gustav A. Wetter, 1977, p. 58)

After much thought C.S. Lewis concluded that natural science and its primary doctrine evolution is devised not to seek truth but to keep God (and the supernatural half of reality) out:

More disquieting still is Professor D.M.S. Watson’s defense. “Evolution itself,” he wrote, “is accepted by zoologists not because it has been observed to occur or...can be proved by logically coherent evidence to be true, but because the only alternative, special creation, is clearly incredible.” Has it come to that? Does the whole vast structure of modern naturalism depend not on positive evidence but simply on an a priori metaphysical prejudice. Was it devised not to get in facts but to keep out God?” (CS Lewis, The Oxford Socratic Club, 1944)

As Kierkegaard perceptively observed, natural science and its primary doctrine evolution are the inventions of the sophistical mind of natural man (i.e., America’s ruling class) who worships and serves animated matter and unseen forces rather than the living Holy Creator Who created matter and rational life. For this reason, Lewis’s conclusions placed him squarely among the growing ranks of anti-natural science and evolution blasphemers.

Demonic Subjection: What Is It and Why It Overshadows America

In "The Spiritist Fallacy," a penetrating analysis of the Luciferian Theosophy, Buddhism and Spiritism that emerged out of the Renaissance taking hold of the minds of modernist priests and intellectuals, the highly respected French traditionalist metaphysician Rene Guenon (1886-1951) describes deluded "enlightened" theologians and intellectuals as those who can no longer speak of the devil,

"....without a smile of disdain, or an even more contemptuous shrug of the shoulders." (p. 252)

Their smug contempt is due to the fact that they believed the spirit-channeled lie that Lucifer is not the devil but rather the "light-bearer." After all, if evolution is true, as enlightened sophisticates believe, then there was no fall, hence man is not fallen and Lucifer is not the devil but the first free-thinker, the emancipator of man and the angel of evolution. Modern sophisticates even go so far as to call him 'the Great Creative Intelligence.' Thus they invoke Lucifer and perform his cult, but in fact these people,

"...though in fact Satanists, are only unconsciously so, for they are mistaken as to the nature of the entity to whom they address their worship....It goes without saying that these 'enlightened' priests are all plainly modernists and that the spirit animating them is strangely similar to that affirmed in these lines." (p. 254)

Modernism emerged out of the Renaissance when many influential Christians at the highest levels of the Church and society fell away from orthodox Christian theism in favor of the Ageless Wisdom Teachings and Hermetic magic that originated centuries before Jesus Christ.

Whether today’s Modernist “elites” call themselves empirical realists, naturalists, Marxists, Fascists, green nature worshippers, Wiccans, Rosicrucian’s, upper level Free Masons, liberal  theologians, Theosophists, Technocrats, Trans-humanists or New Age they have this is common: all are demonically subjected to greater and lesser degrees and some of them possessed because just as the Lord of Hosts gives His Holy Spirit to those who love and obey Him, He can send evil spirits upon those who are disobedient, living in persistent sin, practicing occult arts, or who in their pride and envy outright reject and hate Him.    Thus we find the Lord of Hosts sending an evil spirit to King Saul (1 Sam. 16:14) which tormented him,

filling him with unrest, anger, fear and murderous intent.” (Occult Bondage and Deliverance, Kurt E. Koch, p. 137)

Dr. Kurt Koch (1913-1987) was a highly respected German minister who pastored, counseled and delivered more than twenty thousand people suffering from demonic subjection in its various forms and manifestations throughout the world.  It may well be that there is no one with more first-hand experience and knowledge in the field of Satanism than Koch.

According to Koch, demonic subjection is a surprisingly common occurrence in our so-called "enlightened" times and refers to the condition of a person who is bound and subject to Satan’s power so that though the person in bondage is not the actual devil he or she is of like mind with him.

Most people have little or no clue that they are in fact demonically subjected, while some of the most dangerous, such as Stalin for example, seem to possess a limitless supply of demonic energy, especially when engaged in imposing their will over the wills of others.  Kaganovitch, Stalin's brother-in-law and closest collaborator describes Stalin as no longer human:

"Even when he exhibited some emotions, they all did not seem to belong to him. They were as false as the scale on top of armor...He was not human at all..." (Marx & Satan, Richard Wurmbrand)

Milovan Djilas, Communist leader of Yugoslavia, perceptively describes the mesmerizing satanic energy emanating from Stalin:

"Was it not so that the demonic power and energy of Stalin consisted in this, that he made the (Communist) movement and every person in it pass to a state of confusion and stupefaction, thus creating and ensuring his reign of fear..." (ibid)

There are many underlying causes of demonic subjection. Koch delineates some of the leading ones:

If a person blatantly lives a life of sin and persistently resists the Spirit of God and remains completely unrepentant, or if a person carries the sin of murder or abortion on his conscience, or has committed perjury or practical incest, if he has cursed his fellow men or blasphemed against the cross or against Christ, the Holy Spirit, or God, then he will have laid himself open to the devil’s attacks.  Every curse is in fact a cry to the devil, and can for this reason lead a person into bondage.” (Occult Bondage, 138)

Demonic subjection inevitably befalls those who persistently engage in psycho-spiritual techniques such as channeling, tantric yoga, Kundalini yoga, centering techniques, visualizing/dreaming, positive imaging, trance music, brain-altering drugs, heavy metal and drugs, necromancy, magic, and witchcraft.  The same danger pertains to use of occult devices such as Ouija and Enneagram together with any of the other occultisms spreading like wildfire over America and into the whole body of the sleeping Church.

One of the first things to become subject to demonic influence is a person’s thoughts and feelings:

This often results in a complete attitude of indifference to any spiritual influence, and to an open rejection of any belief in God.  The Word of God loses its power to speak, and God’s promises become meaningless.  The person finds he can only entertain evil thoughts in his mind and ideas which are opposed to God.  He is gripped with a passion for lying and impure thoughts.  Indeed, the desire to lie so fills him that he does so unconsciously. In spite of feeling no remorse for his sins, he will be plagued with a continuous feeling of restlessness, with a lack of peace, and depressive moods.”  (Occult Bondage, p. 140)

In the following examples, Dr. Koch outlines some other conditions denoting demonic subjection that with every day becomes increasingly descriptive of both American culture and apostatizing Church:

1.Warped, distorted character; narcissism, hard egoism, uncongenial dark nature

2. Extreme passions; abnormal sexuality, violent temper, fits of rage, belligerence, tendencies to addiction, meanness, kleptomania

3. Compulsive thoughts of suicide and murder; anxiety states, persecution complexes

4. Demonic possession: confusion, delusion; destructive, murderous urges; fits of mania, tendency to violence, inhabitation by demons, conscious atheism, simulated piety, blasphemous thoughts, words and acts and bigoted attitude against Christ and God. (Occult ABC, Koch, pp. 266-282)

In "Hostage to the Devil: the Possession and Exorcism of Five Contemporary Americans," (1992) Malachi Martin presents five cases of possession expressing important elements and basic attitudes characterizing the demonic subjection and possession overtaking America’s Godless postmodern society. In the possessed person, such as the 'no longer human' Stalin, these elements and attitudes are pushed to a very narrow and frightening extreme. Martin summarizes these elements and attitudes in the following points:

1.Moral imbecility: All sense suddenly seems like nonsense; nothing is ever right.

2. Hopelessness, death and suicide confirmed as the only hope

3. Death, cruelty and contempt are normal

4. Moral relativism and/or postmodernism: the depraved insistence that there is no essential difference between good and evil; all 'truth' and 'moral' values are subject to one's personal preference

5. Empiricism: The supernatural and miraculous must be resolved in 'natural' or rational and empirically verifiable scientific explanations

6. Naturalism: There can be no relevance for the modern person in anything that cannot be rationally understood and no 'truth' important beyond what is this-worldly or natural.

7. Androgyny: There are multiple and ever-expanding 'genders' and expressions of 'love'

8. Fatal confusion between spirit (mind, will) and psyche (soul). Of this Martin said, "If everything (of) spirit can be made to seem a product merely of human psyche...then love can be made to seem only a chemical interaction, and love's paradigm is killed."

9. Confusion: One basic note of possession is confusion of truth with lie, good with evil, supernatural with natural. Confusion, or satanic inversion, is a primary weapon of evil said Martin.

In "Three Characteristics of the Diabolical, and how they are Manifest in the Modern World," Msgr. Charles Pope of the Archdiocese of Washington provides three more elements and attitudes characteristic of demonic subjection in our God-less society:

1. Love of Nudity:

"This is clearly manifest at several levels. First there is the widespread tendency of immodest dress..."fashions" (that) reveal more than is reasonable and generally have, as their intent to draw attention to aspects of the body that are private and reserved for sexual union in marriage. Too many in our culture see little problem parading about in various stages of undress, wearing clothing that are more intended to disclose and call attention to, than to conceal the private areas of the body. This love of disclosure and titillation is surely an aspect of the Evil One's love of nudity, and he has surely spread his obsession to many in the modern West".

2. Pornography:

"Though nothing new in this fallen world, has surely reached epidemic proportions via the Internet. Any psychotherapist, counselor or priest will tell you that addiction to pornography is a huge problem among people today. Pornographic sites on the Internet outpace all others tenfold. Multimillion Americans are viewing enormous amounts of pornography and the "industry" is growing exponentially. What was once hidden away in adult bookstores is now one click away on the Internet. And the thought that browsing habits are easily discoverable matters little to the addicts of this latest form of slavery. Many are on a steep slope downward into ever more deviant forms of porn. Many end up at illegal sites before they even know what has happened to them, and the FBI is knocking on their door. Satan's love of nudity has possessed many!"

3. The overall sexualization of culture also ties in to Satan's love of nudity:

"We sexualize women to sell products. We even sexualize children. Our sitcoms chatter endlessly about sex in a very teenage and immature sort of way. We are, collectively, goofy and immature about sex, and our culture giggles like horny teenagers obsessed with something we don't really understand. Yes, Satan loves nudity, and everything that goes with it."

4.  Confusion or satanic inversion is a prime weapon of evil:

"And then of course there is the utter confusion that celebrates homosexual activity. What Scripture calls gravely sinful, disordered, and contrary to nature (= ðáñὰ öýóéí – para physin – Rom 1:26) many in our culture now openly celebrate. And those afflicted as such, openly identify themselves with what tempts them:

"Under another housing option, Wesleyan’s Office of Residential Life invites gender-confused students who identify themselves under the umbrella of one or more of the 15 alternative sexualities to join a house embracing everyone but heterosexuals. This campus residence is called “Open House,” which welcomes each of the 15 groups represented by the acrostic “LGBTTQQFAGPBDSM.” For those not in-tune with many of the invented “gender identities,” LGBTTQQFAGPBDSM individuals represent the following groups (in order): lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, queer, questioning, flexual, asexual, genderf***, polyamorous, bondage/disciple, dominance/submission, and sadism/masochism." (Wesleyan Univ. pulls men-only frats, pushes housing for 15 ‘sexualities,' Michael F. Haverluck, OneNewsNow.com,  Friday, February 27, 2015)

Rather than lament the difficulty and trial of such affliction and offer love, support and truth that they, may live celibately, (as all the unmarried are called to do), our sex saturated culture, blinded and darkened by its own wild lust, affirms and encourages them to indulge what can only bring further harm to them, and others, for it is of the darkness and contrary to nature. They have exchanged the truth of God for a lie... Romans 1:25"   (blog.adw.org, Apr. 8, 2013)

Homosexual activity is of the darkness, yet while our White House and increasing numbers of Americans tolerate and celebrate it our children, military, and society in particular are paying the price:

It appears that the DOD has serious problems  with male-on-male sexual assaults that men are not reporting and the Pentagon doesn’t want to talk about,” said Elaine  Donnelly, who heads the Center for Military Readiness. She noted that only 2 percent of assailants are women." (Victims of sex assaults in military are mostly men, Rowan Scarborough, washingtontimes.com, May 20, 2013)

"Forcible sodomy of men and rape of women is certainly causally connected to completed and attempted suicides. Yet, despite the high rates of male and female rape and forcible sodomy, the CDP report dodges the prominent role of both sexual abuse and pornography - that is, how-to sex abuse manuals and videos - in fueling the lust and contempt that spawns both offender sexual abuse and victim suicidal ideation." The Enneagram: A Satanic Occult Spiritual Tool within the Church

Over the course of many years, doctrines of demons--- occult doctrines, symbols, psycho-spiritual technologies and tools have been creeping into the whole body of the Christian church, thus for example we see some churches forgoing the cross of Christ in favor of peculiar contemporary logos bearing a striking similarity to the powerful occult symbol, the Oroboros (the body of the serpent) while others advertise themselves as the church of One Spirit (interfaith/interspirituality).    Psycho-spiritual techniques for channeling the divine essence or spark “within” are becoming  immensely popular in many contemporary Mega Churches as are occult spiritual tools such as the Enneagram, which is not only used and promoted by some Christians, but defended as a psychological tool based on biblical principles.

The Enneagram however, is the antithesis of God’s Word and Way of Jesus Christ God Incarnate (Romans 3:24; 6:23; 10:9-10; Eph. 1:7; 2:8-9)  Its inventor, George Ilych Gurdjieff and his disciples, Peter Damien Ouspensky and Oscar Ichazo  were very active in the occult, spiritism, Theosophy (Ouspensky), channeling, yoga, drugs, devil worship, and a study of the pantheist/panentheist and reincarnation conceptions of Middle Eastern religions.

Gurdjieff was an Armenian teacher of occult spiritual philosophies and techniques based on knowledge he acquired during contacts with secret societies as recounted in his book, “Meetings with Remarkable Men.”   Though Gurdjieff was aware of Luciferian Theosophy and other occult spiritual philosophies he decided to found his own order based on doctrines of spiritual enlightenment through meditation and heightened self-awareness. (occultopedia.com)

Gurdjieff’s system incorporates ancient Egyptian Hermetic magic, biological and spiritual theories of evolution, Gnostic pantheist conceptions of a Divine One Substance, and various other occult pagan doctrines such as esoteric Kabbalah, Taoism, Buddhism and Greek nature philosophy.

Gurdjieff’s techniques included specially adapted forms of hypnotism, total obedience to a guru who has achieved enlightenment, constant self-observation, hard physical labor and demeaning tasks, intense emotionalism and dance routines.

The aim of Gurdjieff’s system is to shock the initiate into a new self-awareness that will open the psyche to communication with the divine essence “above” that is also “within,” or the Master, in the words of Rhonda Byrne, author of The Secret:

People go through their whole lives chasing everything in the material world, and they fail to discover the greatest treasure of all, which is within them.  Shut your eyes to the outside world.  Direct your thoughts and words inside of you.  The Master within you is the key to all the treasures in the world.” (Rhonda Byrne, “The Secret Daily Teachings”)

With this understanding, the goal of the Enneagram comes to light.  Its purpose is twofold: to lead a person to self-awareness and second, to an awakening of the divine Self “within.”   “Self” is capitalized because “Self” is considered to be divine.

Ouspensky reframed Gurdjieff’s ideas as the Fourth Way and his teachings on the Enneagram appear in his books, “In Search of the Miraculous” and “The Fourth Way.”

In “What is the Enneagram?” Marcia Montenegro explains that the nine numbers most likely originate with Oscar Ichazo’s belief in the “nine divine forms” of “Self,” a spiritist philosophy derived from the Gnostic view of the “Self” as divine and pure and from the esoteric values of Sacred Geometry:

Ichazo was heavily involved in psychedelic drugs and shamanism and asserted that he had “received instructions from a higher entity called Metatron” and that his group was “guided by an interior master.” (solasisters.com, May 24, 2011)

Ichazo’s pupil Naranjo, a psychiatrist who studied with him in Chile passed on the Enneagram teachings to Jesuit Bob Ochs.   Ochs brought it into Roman Catholic circles at the occult New Age Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California where Naranjo taught. (ibid, “A Closer Look at the Enneagram,” Dorothy Garrity Ranaghan, 1989, p. 9)

At home within much of the Roman Catholic Church, the Enneagram was welcomed into Protestant Evangelical circles back in 2006 as Lighthouse Trails reports:

Next year’s National Pastors Convention will be using an occultic tool called the enneagram.  The tool will be used during one of the Critical Concerns Courses.  An introduction of the course, Understanding the Enneagram: Insights for Spiritual Transformation says “This course will provide personal and biblical perspectives from the enneagram, an ancient tool being rediscovered in the church. “(National Pastor’s Convention Using Occultic Enneagram, lighthousetrailsresearch.com, Dec. 12, 2006)

The ultimate purpose of the Enneagram is to initiate a person into something far beyond the conscious control of the human will, for once a person has been initiated their spirit/soul is open to demonic bondage, harassment and madness.  Thus to “go within” so as to channel the Divine Self “within,” is to perform the cult of Satan which opens the spirit/soul to contact with powers and principalities and their chief, the devil.   Initiation inevitably results in a counter-conversion from the Holy God in Three Persons to self and Satan and from there to bondage, terror and blackness.

The common thread running through all occult doctrine, symbols, psycho-spiritual technologies and tools such as the Enneagram is the diabolical mind of the serpent, the same fallen angel who tempted Adam and Eve with the words, “Ye shall be as Gods” but now seduces with the words, “go within.”

Worshipping the Serpent "Within" in our Age of Apostasy

In the classic work, "Earth's Earliest Ages" English theologian G.H. Pember (1837-1910) examines the role of satanic forces in the first destruction of earth under God's judgment and compares them to the explosion of spiritism (open intercourse with evil spirits), ancient Egyptian Hermetic magic, Theosophy, Buddhism, reincarnation, karma, the Mysteries, astrology and mesmeric healings sweeping across Christendom.

It was during the Renaissance that many influential Christians at the highest levels of Church and society had returned to the occult Wisdom Teachings that originated in ancient Egypt with Hermes Trismegistus.  In his own time, Pember observes that ancient occult traditions are no longer veiled in mystery but boldly presented by the powerful occult brotherhood as the fruit of modern science, especially evolutionary philosophy, which  the brotherhood assert was included in the instructions given,

“…to the initiates of the Hermetic, Orphic, Eleusinian, and Cabbalistic mysteries, and were familiar to Chaldean Magi, Egyptian Priests, Hindu Occultists, Essenes, Therapeutae Gnostics, and Theurgic Neo-Platonists.” (Pember, pp.243-244)

In the impeccably researched “Scientific Analysis of the Writings of Alice A. Bailey and their Applications,” Robert A. Hermann Ph.D. affirms Pembers claim with respect to the occult origins of the evolutionary science so widespread in our time.   Herrmann traces modern evolutionary thinking--which has infiltrated the whole body of the Church--back to 1750 and the Spanish-French occultist the Martine’s de Pasqually (1715?-1779) whose biological conception predates Darwin’s theory and held that an adept spiritually evolves into higher and higher forms on various evolutionary levels.  (raherrmann.com)

Pember knows that occult teachings are grounded in knowledge received from evil spirits, thus he particularly connects evolutionary philosophy to spiritism.   This teaching said Pember, made the world ready for the deeper teachings of the Brotherhood (fallen angels):

"…..the Brotherhood decided that the time had come to communicate with it, and openly influence its religion and philosophy. They have, however, become so etherealized by their practices that they are unable to endure contact with coarse human nature; it was, therefore, necessary to employ intermediaries.  The first person known to have been chosen for this purpose was a Madame Blavatsky.”  (pp. 243-246)

In affirmation, Corinne McLaughlin and Gordon Davidson, the politically influential co-authors of “Spiritual Politics: Changing the World from the Inside Out,” admit that their book is based on the Ageless Wisdom teachings preserved by occultists since the Egyptian pantheon (27th-30th centuries B.C) and handed down over the ages to modern occultists in the time of the Renaissance, the Enlightenment and on into our own time:

"For centuries, the Ageless Wisdom in the West was shielded from an unprepared public…. The unveiled truths were handed down only orally by individual teachers to tested disciples or by certain religious groups and secret societies, such as the Cabbalists, Druids, Essenes, Sufis, Knights Templar, Rosicrucian’s, Freemasons, and others who carefully guarded the teachings down through the centuries. A study of these secret societies would reveal powerful influences on the history of nations….”  (Spiritual Politics, McLaughlin, Davidson from “Reinventing Jesus Christ: The New Gospel,” Warren Smith, crossroad.to)

Beginning with the work of the Brotherhood and/or Masters acting through Blavatsky, Ageless Wisdom has succeeded in over-spreading W. Europe and America and made deep inroads into the whole body of the Church over the last one hundred years. Blavatsky’s important book, ‘The Secret Doctrine’ (1888) paved the way by synthesizing,

“…..Christian, Jewish, and Islamic mysticism with the Eastern teachings of Hinduism, Taoism, and Buddhism, showing their common roots and comparing their sacred texts….”

The next development came through the teachings of Alice Bailey, an apostate Evangelical:

“…. In 1919 Bailey was contacted by a Tibetan master, Djwhal Khul, who asked her to write a series of books with him telepathically that would continue Blavatsky’s work. Over a period of thirty years, Bailey received eighteen books from him on the nature of the cosmos and the human being, outlining principles for individual spiritual growth and humanity’s next evolutionary steps. In 1923 Bailey founded Lucis Trust [originally called Lucifer Publishing, ed.] to bring the teachings in her books to the public. A year later she began the Arcane School. The books were written to apply to several levels of consciousness at once and thus can be read by both beginners and advanced students. Her works have been especially helpful to the two of us in our own spiritual growth and have provided much of the inspiration for Spiritual Politics."

Central to ancient Egyptian and modern Hermetic orders such as the Order of the Golden Dawn, Theosophy and New Age is ophiolatry (worship of serpents/Lucifer) and the theme of a pantheon of nine Sun Gods or with modern orders, an occult Hierarchy of nine evolved Brothers or Masters: god-men who have finished their cycles of reincarnation and material evolution but have chosen to remain here on the earth (Gaia) to serve people in their own conscious evolution as well as guide Gaia's spiritual evolution:

“(The solar deity Kneph was pictured as a serpent in a fiery circle and Osiris) was essentially identical with Kneph…The worship of Isis, the moon-goddess, was equally entwined with ophiolatry.  Her emblem was the horned viper…The Egyptians often represented Isis and Osiris together, as two serpents.”  (The Cult of the All-Seeing Eye, Robert Keith Spenser, p. 35)

Depending on who they are speaking to, the nine Masters variously call themselves the Brotherhood, Space Brothers, Ascended Masters, the ancient Ennead of Egypt (the nine Sun Gods), Nine Principles of God, the Deep Space Nine, the Group, Sirians and Council of Nine.  Today there is a vast and growing network of channelers purporting to receive messages from the Nine and still others calling themselves Light Workers who claim to have presented briefings from the Group five times at the United Nations.

Another important theme connecting all ancient and modern Hermetic Orders and Mystery religions is the Sirius star system.  From the time of the Egyptians, Sumerians and Babylonians occult teachings have invariably attributed to Sirius a special status in connection with Isis (Sirius A), Osiris (Sirius B), astrology, Hermeticism, the Mysteries, secret initiations, conceptions of transmigration, reincarnation, astral plane travels and other forms of occult evolutionary philosophy.

Hermetic Mystery schools and orders teach that Sirius is the divine “sun behind the sun” that is both the true source of the sun’s energy which keeps the physical world alive, as well as the divine substance that keeps the spiritual world alive.  Whereas the sun illuminates the physical world, which is considered to be an illusion, Sirius is the “real light," the Great Dragon, Cosmic Serpent, Chaos, Abraxas, Star Maker, Ground of Being, or Essence of material phenomena, meaning that the material universe exists only as a grand illusion or mental construction as it does for example in the mind of Brahman:

"Brahman is real, the world is unreal." (swamij.com/mahavakyas)

The two most important figures associated with Hermetic Theosophy, Madame Blavatsky and Alice Bailey, considered Sirius to be the source of mystical serpent power: the seething energies of Lucifer that exert a spiritual influence over the entire Sephiroth or cosmic tree of life and therefore directly link with every great religion of antiquity because these energies extend into the psyche of mankind.

Bailey taught that Sirius is the “Great White Lodge” and believed it to be the spiritual home of the “Spiritual Hierarchy.” For this reason she considered Sirius as the star of initiation:

"This is the great star of initiation because our Hierarchy (an expression of the second aspect of divinity) is under the supervision or spiritual magnetic control of the Hierarchy of Sirius. These are the major controlling influences whereby the cosmic Christ works upon the Christ principle in the solar system, in the planet, in man and in the lower forms of life expression. It is esoterically called the “brilliant star of sensitivity.”   (The Mysterious Connection Between Sirius and Human History, vigilantcitizen.com, Dec. 12, 2012)

Baily also taught that Luciferian energy emanating from Sirius is the energy of thought: a mind force that reaches the solar system from a distant cosmic center via Sirius. Sirius acts as the transmitter,

"...or the focalising centre, whence emanate those influences which produce self-consciousness in man.”  (ibid)

The Hermetic Way of the Dragon

The Hermetic way of psychic power and self-salvation is the antithesis of the Way of Jesus Christ God Incarnate (Romans 3:24; 6:23; 10:9-10; Eph. 1:7; 2:8-9) and began with a mysterious man known as Hermes Trismegistus.

The ancients identified Hermes with Mercury and Anubis (brother to Osiris).   His emblem, the caduceus, was a talismanic serpent representing the power of Mercury as a Sun-god. Speculations abound on exactly when and where Hermes lived.  Some modern New Age occultists believe he was a contemporary of Noah in the pre-flood world which they call Atlantis.  Others believe he lived in ancient Egypt during the time of Moses.

In “Biographa Antiqua” the English occultist Frances Barret writes that Hermes “communicated the sum of the Abyss, and divine knowledge to all posterity.” The word “Abyss” refers to ancient and modern pantheist and/or panentheist conceptions such as the Watery Abyss, Divine One Substance, Primordial Matter, or with Hermes, the Universal Life personified by the Great Serpent or Dragon from whose body and wings stream illuminating serpent power, or with Bailey, ‘those influences which produce self-consciousness in man.’

Bailey is expressing the Hermetic principle which speaks of the correlation between the substance of the Great Serpent and the mind of man expressed in the world famous magic formula: “As above, so below.”

The substance (body) and seething powers of the Great Dragon or Serpent are symbolized by the Oroboros, a powerful occult symbol also known as the Sephiroth, great chain of being, cosmic tree of life, and with Darwin the tree of life. The Oroboros ‘above’ corresponds to a number of different evolutionary levels and realms comprising the habitation of all supernatural entities and various heavens and hells such as the Black Lodge.  Thus the substance of the Great Dragon’s body  with its supposed multiple dimensions and life and thought-giving serpent energies not only powers the Divine Substance above but reaches down into the psyche, capturing the imagination, stunting and befouling the conscience, causing evolutionary change, and conferring psychic powers and divinity (you can be as God).

The Luciferian Manly P. Hall (1901-1990) concurs.  According to Manly, Hermetic Freemasonry is an occult science of the soul,

“…a divine symbolic language perpetuating (by) certain concrete symbols the sacred mysteries of the ancients.”  When a Masonry adept has learned the “mystery of his Craft (then the) seething energies of Lucifer are in his hands and before he may step onward and upward, he must prove his ability to properly apply energy.”  (New World Order: The Ancient Plan of Secret Societies, William T. Still, p. 30)

The foundation of Hermes occult way is forbidden knowledge revealed to him during self-induced trance and/or meditation states resulting in altered states of consciousness that opened his mind to contact with the Great Dragon:

“Meditation is the doorway between worlds….the pathway between dimensions.” (The Layman’s Guide to Enlightenment, Celeste G. Graham, 1980, p. 13)

The Dragon revealed to Hermes that his own nature is divine, meaning that God and psychic power is “within.”   The Divine Pymander of Hermes Trismegistus relates Hermes mystical encounter with the Great Dragon who called itself Poimandres, the Mind of the Universe that is within Hermes. (themystica.com)

Upon transforming itself into a glorious being of Light the Dragon proceeded to enlighten Hermes with the forbidden knowledge that over time found its’ way into Christendom during the Renaissance giving birth to an array of Secret Societies as well as to pantheist theological liberalism and its’ primary doctrine evolution, William James theory of the subconscious, the demon-haunted Carl Jung’s transpersonal and depth psychology, occult New Age, Phillip Pullman’s dark Gnosticism, Mind Science, New Thought, the Alpha Course, Silva Method, Word of Faith, Positive Imaging, Visualization/Dreaming, and the multi-million dollar best-sellers “A Course in Miracles” and “The Secret.”  The common denominator of these societies, theories, books and techniques is “God and psychic power is within:”

“People go through their whole lives chasing everything in the material world, and they fail to discover the greatest treasure of all, which is within them.  Shut your eyes to the outside world.  Direct your thoughts and words inside of you.  The Master within you is the key to all the treasures in the world.” (Rhonda Byrne, “The Secret Daily Teachings”)

“Since the unconscious is God all along, we may further define the goal of spiritual growth to be the attainment of godhood by the conscious self.”  (A Different Drum, M. Scott Peck)

“….all is mind and…everything is governed by law (thus man) can create, or have created for him from his own thinking.  He can create such a strong mental atmosphere of success that its power of attraction will be irresistible.  He can send his thoughts throughout the world and have it bring back to him whatever he wants.” (Creative Mind and Success, Ernest Holmes, New Thought practitioner)

“Your unconscious mind (has a) power that turns wishes into realities when the wishes are strong enough.” (“Positive Imaging,” Norman Vincent Peale, 1982, p. 77)

Word Faith teacher Kenneth Copeland tells people to visualize any image,

“…that you get down inside you that is so vivid when you close your eyes you see it, it’ll come to pass.  When God came at the Tower of Babel, He said, ‘Anything they can imagine, they can do.” (Inner Image of the Covenant, side 2, Copeland)

Yonggi Cho similarly teaches that through visualizing and dreaming you will,

“….incubate that which we want God to do for us….If you have not visualized clearly in your heart exactly what you hope for, it cannot become a reality to you…”  (The Fourth Dimension, Vol. 1, Yonggi Cho, 1979, 9-35, vol. 2, 18-33)

Believing the Lie

"And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie." (2 Thessalonians 2:11)

In “The Spiritist Fallacy,” a penetrating analysis of the Hermetic Theosophy, Buddhism and Spiritism that emerged out of the Renaissance taking hold of the minds of modernist priests and intellectuals, the highly respected French traditionalist metaphysician Rene Guenon (1886-1951) describes deluded “enlightened” theologians and intellectuals as those who cannot speak of the devil,

“….without a smile of disdain, or an even more contemptuous shrug of the shoulders.” (p. 252)

Their smug contempt is due to the fact that they believed the spiritist lie that Lucifer is not the devil but rather the “light-bearer.”  After all, if evolution is true, as enlightened sophisticates believe, then there was no fall, hence man is not fallen and Lucifer is not the devil but the first free-thinker, the emancipator of man and the angel of evolution.  Modern sophisticates even go so far as to call him ‘the Great Creative Intelligence.’  Thus they invoke Lucifer and perform his cult, but in fact these people,

“…though in fact Satanists, are only unconsciously so, for they are mistaken as to the nature of the entity to whom they address their worship….It goes without saying that these ‘enlightened’ priests are all plainly modernists and that the spirit animating them is strangely similar to that affirmed in these lines.” (p. 254)

With respect to “modern” spiritist doctrine Guenon notes its’ peculiar agreement with the esoteric religion of the Brahmins:

“Now this….has been taught to lower grade initiates in Himalayan temples for perhaps more than a thousand years!  This similarity is curious at the very least, and one can say without paradox that spiritism is only esoteric Brahmanism in broad daylight.”  (p. 41)

Guenon also argues that every “modern” conception that notably disfigures the living God as evolution does is Satanic, and in this sense, all theories of a limited God and of an immanent (pantheist) God who evolves must be placed in the front rank.

Turning to the theories of William James (1842-1910), the father of American psychology, Guenon describes them as examples of unconscious Satanism for two reasons.   First, James theory of “religious experience” as a manifestation of the “subconscious” by which man communicates with the pantheist Divine “within” is only one step away from “condoning the practices of spiritism” with the further consequences of conferring on evil spirits an eminently religious character and being initiated into experiences of the psychic and spirit realm. Initiation involves one in something far beyond the conscious control of the human will, thus once a person has been initiated their spirit/soul is open to bondage, harassment and madness.

Second, the notion that the subconscious puts man in contact with the Divine “within” puts God,

“…in the inferior states of being, in feris in the literal sense of this expression.  This then is a properly ‘infernal’ doctrine, a reversal of universal order, which is precisely what we call ‘Satanism.’  Guenon adds, “The devil is not only terrible, he is often grotesque…” (pp. 258-262)

Building off of James serpent-animated theories, the demon-haunted psychiatrist Carl Jung (1875-1961) taught that the psyche (spirit/soul) consists of two main systems:  a personal unconscious and a deeper more significant layer which he called the collective unconscious with archetypes.

Jung’s system incorporates Hermetic magic, biological and spiritual theories of evolution, reincarnation, pantheist conceptions of a Gnostic pleroma (divine substance) and various other occult doctrines and psycho-spiritual technologies from around the world.

Jung delved deeply into the occult, practiced necromancy and had daily contact with familiar spirits which he called archetypes because he believed they were manifestations of powers innate in the collective unconscious (substance of the Great Dragon).

Much of Jung’s psychological insight was acquired from his familiar spirits, particularly Philemon and Basilides.  Philemon appeared to Jung in a grotesque humanoid body with wings and the head of a horned bull. At first Jung thought his spirit familiars were manifestations of his own psyche, but toward the end of his life he realized with horror that Philemon, Basilides, and the many other spirit entities that were a common feature of his life were in fact highly intelligent hostile beings independent of human consciousness.   Speaking of Philemon, Jung said:

“Philemon represented a force which was not myself…..I held conversations with him, and he said things which I had not consciously thought.    For I observed clearly that it was he who spoke, not I….Psychologically, Philemon represented superior insight.  He was a mysterious figure to me.   At times he seemed to me quite real, as if he were a living personality.  I went walking up and down the garden with him, and to me he was what the Indians call a guru.”  (Memories, Dreams, Reflections, Carl Jung, p. 183, cited from PsychoHeresy: C.G. Jung’s Legacy to the Church, PsychoHeresy Awareness Ministries)

Jung uses the name Abraxas to describe the impersonal Gnostic pleroma  (substance of the Great Dragon) out of which mind and then other mental powers emerged.  The word Abraxas is found in esoteric Gnostic texts such as the “Holy Book of the Great Invisible Spirit” and also in the Greek “Magical Papyri.”

In 1916 Jung received further revelations from his demon familiars, this time by way of automatic writing as he recorded a Gnostic treatise called “The Seven Sermons to the Dead.”   Labeled a core text in depth psychology the treatise describes Abraxas as a “God” higher than the living, personal Holy God in Three Persons that combines all opposites into a single androgynous Being.

As with all Ageless Wisdom teachings, underlying Jung’s demon-derived “transpersonal and depth psychology” is the Hermetic correlation of the substance of Abraxas (collective unconscious and archetypes) with the personal unconscious of man, hence, “As above, so below.”

According to the Apostle Paul fallen angels cast down from heaven together with demons are dispersed in a multitude throughout the whole expanse of sky (Eph. 2:2; 6:12).  This means that William James ‘subconscious’ and Jung’s ‘collective unconscious’ with its archetypes are actually the expanse of sky under the heavens which supposedly connects the substance of the Great Dragon to the psyche of man. Thus to “go within” the “subconscious” (James) or “personal unconscious” (Jung) so as to channel the Divine “within,” is to perform the cult of Satan which opens the spirit/soul to contact with powers and principalities and their chief, the devil.

Though there are increasing numbers of psychologists and psychiatrists who now affirm their belief in evil spirits and their ability to harass, influence and possess human beings, the majority are still heavily influenced by Jung’s demon-derived theories, thus they insist that what they call “paranormal experiences”are perhaps hallucinations caused by the innate powers of human imagination or representations of interplay between the left and right hemispheres of the brain and/or the therapeutic release of unconscious repressions.

Unlike most modern psychiatrists and psychologists, Nanci Des Gerlaise, a Cree Native American woman raised on a Metis settlement, needs no convincing. Almost from birth her life consisted of occult bondage and terrifying demonic harassment until she found deliverance through Jesus Christ.

Nanci knows without the least bit of doubt that demons exist and can even take the shape of animals, birds and other more frightening creatures.   She knows that medicine men still engage in symbolic baby sacrifices to Satan in return for more spiritual power.   She knows because her own father offered her to Satan.  Her life then belonged to the devil and became filled night and day with all kinds of evil:

This is what happened to me and one reason why I had such a struggle when I became a Christian.   Satan still claimed ownership of me.  The tug of war first started when I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior….He set me free from occult bondages and demonic harassment….Christianity (is) God’s way of salvation.  Colossians 1:12-14 made perfect sense to me…” (Muddy Waters, Gerlaise, pp. 51, 79-80)

Nanci’s book, “Muddy Waters” is far more than a biography.  It is a clear and compelling warning to all Christians living in sin, apostatizing churches, practitioners of occult psycho-spiritual technologies, advocates for interfaith/interspirituality and spiritual formation (occult techniques dressed in Christian motifs) that forces of darkness really do exist and will make your life a living nightmare of disembodied voices, terrifying encounters with demonic entities, thoughts of suicide and murder, and even possession.

“Now the Spirit manifestly saith, that in the last times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to spirits of error, and doctrines of devils.” 1 Tim. 4:1

From the time of Hermes, ancient and modern occult pagan adepts have been employing a variety of occult psycho-spiritual techniques to “go within” in search of psychic powers and immortality:

“…..I can be saved only by becoming one with the universe.  Thereby, too, my deepest ‘pantheist’ aspirations.  It was especially the image of God which Teilhard saw in need of urgent redefinition.   Modern man has not yet found the God he can adore, A God commensurate to the newly discovered dimensions of the universe.” (Towards a New Mysticism, Teilhard de Chardin and Eastern Religions, Ursula King, p. 172)

The corollary to our age of lawless Christians and spreading apostasy is an explosive revival of   ancient Hermetic spiritism.  A major reason is that modern psychology allegedly provides us with a “scientific” explanation that ascribes whatever frightening entities encountered while on brain-altering substances or through centering, yogic trance, visualizing and dreaming or other occult techniques to archetypal images from the collective unconscious.

The common thread running through all of this is the diabolical mind of the serpent, the same fallen angel who tempted Adam and Eve in the Garden with the words, “Ye shall be as Gods” (Gen. 3:5) but now seduces with the words, “go within.”

Our Only Defense against the Destructive "Me" Generation & Antichrist Utopianists

Though not entirely, the present generation of W. Europeans and Americans is for the most part the “me” generation of “self-lovers” who know only today’s dark climate marked by narcissism, cynicism, lying, sexual anarchy, and psychological and physical bullying.  For the present generation, drug trafficking, rapes, shootings, gang and mob violence, and sex predation inour schools, universities, Hollywood, the White House and Congress are common.   So too are break-ins, beatings and murders.

Having been spoon-fed anti-Western history the present generation has no memory of yesterday’s societies where the majority of people lived frugally, told the truth, respected parents and elders, dressed decently and modestly, spoke and behaved politely, and waited their turn.  Yesterday’s generation believed that humility, playing by the rules, acting honorably and courageously and having a good reputation were virtues worth striving and sacrificing for.   But existing as they do in our morally and intellectually degenerate, atheistic, lawless societies today’s morally-unfettered ‘me’ generation cannot believe that at one time Christmas carols were sung in schools, house and car doors were routinely left unlocked and windows left open; purses and other belongings could be left safely in cars even with the windows rolled down, and children were at liberty to play safely in their yards, to roam their neighborhoods and walk or ride unmolested to school.

Where yesterday’s generation knew they were sinners, reverenced and worshipped God, hoped and longed for heaven and knew that hell and the devil exist, the “me” generation, having been brought up on Darwinism, mainly believe that God, Original Sin, heaven, hell, and the devil are superstitious nonsense thus they are free to do whatever they want to do so long as they can get away with it or have it declared a ‘right.’

For many long years, thoughtful, concerned people have been pointing to the connections between Darwin's evolutionary theory, the narcissistic “me” generation, the apostatizing Church and the spreading epidemic of self-love, moral insanity, hatred, despair, paranoia, disordered thinking, dark fantasies, psychosis and other spiritual pathologies together with the breakup of the family, the abortion of 60,000,000+ unborn, the subversion and perversion of children, and the relentlessly rising tide of psychiatric drug and porn use, crime, decadence, homicide and suicide in the 'evolutionized' West and America.

If Darwin was right, man is nothing more than a soulless bag of chemicals or equally soulless hominid and there is no ultimate fixed meaning or higher purpose to life except what we choose:

" You are born, you suffer, you die — that's it. Perhaps, if you're lucky, you may get recycled as organic manure — but beyond that, you're just a number that happened to come up in the great casino of the universe." (Darwin, Spurgeon and the 'black dog,' Carl Wieland, Creation.com)

Wieland points out that even where Darwin is denied,

".....but 'millions of years' ideas are proclaimed, hopelessness finds foothold. Any 'god' who condoned millions of years of death, cruelty, disease and bloodshed, certainly cannot be the personal, biblical God of love. And if the Bible got it so obviously wrong about the timing of creation as to mislead hundreds of millions of Christians until the present day, how can we really trust it about our eternal future? John 3:12 (ibid)

Darwinian theory as 'evolutionary fact' has finally reached saturation point in government, law, media, education, healthcare, psychiatry, the public arena and increasingly within the whole body of the Church, which is why pathological lying, nihilism, atheism, agnosticism, occult paganism, suicide, lawlessness, mass murder, decadence, abortion, and euthanasia have increased exponentially throughout America and the world.

If the living God does not exist and man does not have to account to Him for his actions here in this world then why not, as the liberal Donald Kaul suggests, repeal the Second Amendment and declare the NRA,

".... a terrorist organization and make membership illegal.... (I would also raze the organization's headquarters, clear the rubble and salt the earth, but that's optional.) Make ownership of unlicensed assault rifles a felony. If some people refused to give up their guns, that "prying the guns from their cold, dead hands" thing works for me." (Des Moines Register publishes gun-ban column advocating deadly violence against NRA, GOP leaders, Tim Graham, foxnews.com, Jan. 2, 2013)

All of this makes a devilish kind of sense if the living, personal Holy God does not exist, men are not sinners, and life has no higher, fixed meaning or purpose since life magically created itself from nothing. If man is just matter and energy in motion or a bag of chemicals destined to be recycled as fertilizer, with neither hope of an afterlife nor any accountability to his Maker for his actions here in this world then why not commit suicide? Why not sexually pervert children, cheat on and maybe even murder your spouse, gun down children, terrorize neighborhoods, toss unwanted babies into trash bins, and use the force of perverted, meaningless law to vandalize and plunder the property and wealth of others? Why not redefine sodomy, pedophilia, pederasty, bestiality and lesbianism as 'gay' and then marry 'gay' couples in Washington's National Cathedral? (Washington National Cathedral to Wed Same-Sex Couples, Ben Brumfield, CNN, Jan. 9, 2013)

But if the living Holy God really does not exist, nor do hell and the devil, and men are not sinners then it makes no sense whatever for Marxist Communists, leftists, progressives and their devilish ilk to praise Lucifer if the devil does not exist and to deliberately unfetter the evil sin nature of men if sin does not exist.  But like the devil their father, Marxist Communists and their devilish revolutionary comrades of yesterday and today are treacherous liars, Judases bent on deception, treachery, betrayal, destruction, and death, as Karl Marx’s anarchist comrade Bakunin makes clear in the following declaration that also includes a concrete plan for unleashing the evil within every man and woman:

In this revolution we will have to awaken the Devil in the people, to stir up the basest passions.  Our mission is to destroy, not to edify.  The passion of destruction is a creative passion.”  (Marx & Satan, Richard Wurmbrand, p. 27)

In other words, right from the beginning of their devilish mission there has been an agenda to deceive, demoralize and dumb-down Westerners and Americans, to persuade them to believe that Darwinism is true, that the Holy Righteous God is dead, man is not a sinner, and heaven, the devil and hell do not exist.

But like their father the devil they are liars.  Over on Trevor Loudon’s website is a list of forty-five Communist goals that are a mixture of deceptions and ways of unleashing the devil in “sinless” Americans:

19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.
20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policy-making positions.
21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.
22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.”
23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”
24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.
25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.
26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”
27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a “religious crutch.”
28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”    (http://www.trevorloudon.com/2013)

At this link, http://www.crossroad.to/Quotes/communism/communist-senate-hearing-wurmbrand.htm, Rev. Richard Wurmbrand describes how evil-minded Communists infiltrated and exploited the Church in order to bend it to their own antichrist purposes, primarily the destruction of faith in Christ:

In prison there were not only priests and pastors (but) hundreds of peasants and young boys and girls (imprisoned) for their Christian faith.  These were separated and for them there was a special brainwashing, not only that ‘communism is good,’ but ‘Christianity is dead, Christianity is dead, Christianity is dead.  Nobody more believes in Christ, nobody more believes in Christ, you are the only fools.”

At the following link ex-KGB agent Yuri Bezmenov explains that Americans have been deliberately demoralized in order to unleash the devil within them and indoctrinated with lies and atheist communist ideology:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2095202/posts

The “me” generation is the product of our atheist controlled schools, universities, media, and communist-style propaganda and mind-control that taken as a whole has befouled their conscience and crushed their liberty of thought in the name of power, control and socialism.  More importantly, they are the spiritually dead products of Darwinism, which has reduced them to less than nothing and taken from them all purpose, meaning and hope.   Unfettered from morality they are the destructive generation raised up by antichrist globalists for one purpose: to destroy their own country, culture, and way of life so that out of the ashes a utopian kingdom of ‘god’ (Lucifer)  will finally arise.

As steel is forged within fire, the Communist hell-on-earth (Gulag) in which ex-atheist Alexander Solzhenitsyn was imprisoned was a crucible of fire that forged him into a more Christ-like man of virtue and wisdom, which comes only from suffering.  Of the wisdom he gained was the insight that religion, but more specifically morality, serves to constrain the evil that is within every man and woman bar none. With this in mind, the means to power and control comes from unfettering the evil within man. This way of attaining power and control was not lost on Marxist Communists and their evil-mind ilk.

Seen in this light we can understand why the West’s and America’s globalist ‘elite’ classes have been undermining and destroying every vestige of moral law, sexual ethics, and all other constraining influences for more than 70 years.   This is the real reason behind the revision of Western history and the censoring and disappearance of words and phrases like ‘immutable truth’ ‘moral absolutes’ ‘sin’ ‘repentance’ ‘judgment’ ‘heaven’ ‘devil’ and ‘hell.’

Peter Hitchens, author of “The Rage against God,” knows this to be true, and he calls on all decent, God-fearing Americans to have the courage to bring these concepts back into the social arena before it’s too late.   Hitchens writes that the living Holy God is the chief rival of devilish leftists and their fantasy of building a kingdom of ‘god’ here on earth:

Christian belief, by subjecting all men to divine authority, and by asserting in the words, ‘My kingdom is not of this world’ that the ideal society does not exist in this life, is the most coherent and potent obstacle to secular utopianism.” (p. 134)

Similarly, Christ’s reproof of Judas, ‘the poor always ye have with you,’ when he complains that the precious ointment should have been sold to feed the poor rather than applied to Jesus is another stumbling block and annoyance to global reformers:

By putting such socialistic thoughts in the mouth of the despised traitor-to-be Judas, and by stating so baldly the truth known to all conservatives that poverty cannot be eradicated, the Bible angers and frustrates those who believe that the pursuit of a perfect society justifies the quest for absolute power. “ (p. 135)

Against the destructive “me” generation and the antichrist globalists who are responsible for unleashing the devil in them, Hitchens advises that the concepts of sin, of conscience, of eternal life,

“…and of divine justice under unalterable law are the ultimate defense against the utopian’s belief that ends justify means and that morality is relative.” (ibid, p. 135)

Only the living Holy God in Three Persons, sin and the need to repent, immutable truth, moral absolutes, conscience, Divine Judgment, and eternal life in either Paradise or outer darkness with the devil and his evil host are the ultimate defense against the worship of human power by the destructive “me” generation and antichrist global utopians in their quest to build an earthly kingdom of Lucifer after the fashion of the now dead Soviet Union.

1 Tim. 4:1---Apostasy & the Dragon in the Church

Lutheran pastor, the Reverend Thomas Messer of Peace Lutheran Church in Alma, Michigan, has studied Revelation extensively and after an exhaustive survey of America's idolatrous, morally-relative post-Christian culture and narcissistic postmodern church he wonders if we may already be living in the 'little season' of Satan.  In his commentary on Revelation 9, Rev. Messer observes that during Satan's little season faithful worship of the living Triune God will be all but lost, as is occurring now, and people will worship anything and everything but Him, even an idol called Jesus or Christ in connection with the 'new' occult pagan spirituality moving with great speed and force into the Church.

The 'new' spirituality overtaking the Church, America and the West is not new at all but is rather the reappearance of ancient Egyptian Hermetic magic grounded in pantheism and spiritism, Greco-Roman nature religions, Eastern mysticism/reincarnation/karma, spiritual and biological evolutionary conceptions, neo-platonism, the Enochian system of magic, Roisicrucianism, tantra, and tarot cards which are seen as the occult keys to the Oroboros (Cosmic Tree of Life).

From the seeker-sensitive (tares-friendly) theology of the emergent church growth movement with its emphasis on earthly bread and spiritual formation to Word Faith magic and the New Apostolic Reformation with its’ Super Apostles who “channel” spirits, all of these movements have a lot in common with the “new” occult spirituality, particularly Hermetic magic.

From the Renaissance to our own time, ancient Egyptian Hermetic magic repackaged for example, as Carl Jung’s demon-derived transpersonal and depth psychology, Mind Science, Alpha Course, Silva Mind Control Method, New Thought, yogic trance, hypnosis, Word Faith, the Force, centering, positive imaging, visualization, various meditation techniques, the Law of Attraction, and the multi-million dollar best-sellers A Course in Miracles and The Secret have been taking America and the West by storm:

People go through their whole lives chasing everything in the material world, and they fail to discover the greatest treasure of all, which is within them.  Shut your eyes to the outside world.  Direct your thoughts and words inside of you.  The Master within you is the key to all the treasures in the world.” (Rhonda Byrne, The Secret Daily Teachings)

Hermeticism is the secret science of magic--- the occult way of immortality---invented by Hermes Trismegistus who lived in ancient Egypt around the time of Moses.  In “Biographa Antiqua” the English occultist Frances Barret writes that Hermes “communicated the sum of the Abyss, and divine knowledge to all posterity.”   The word ‘Abyss’ refers to pantheist and/or panentheist conceptions such as the Divine One Substance, World Soul, Brahman, Star-Maker, or with Hermes, the Universal Life personified by the Great Dragon  (Oroboros) from whose body and wings stream light in all directions.

The Hermetic principle speaks of the correlation between the Great Dragon (Oroboros) and the mind of man expressed in the magic formula, “As above, so below.”   As a powerful occult symbol, the Oroboros is the seething power, creative and/or evolutionary impulse or energy of the Great Dragon figuratively depicted as either a serpent or dragon eating its own tail.

The Great Dragon is also symbolized by the great chain of being, cosmic tree of life or with Darwin the tree of life.  In modern Luciferian theosophical thought for example, the Oroboros “above” (i.e., the Force, Cosmic Mind) corresponds to a number of different astral planes and sub-planes comprising the habitations of all supernatural entites.    Thus the Great Dragon’s body with its’ supposed multiple dimensions and life-giving serpent power not only powers the World Spirit  above (Jung’s collective unconscious with its archetypes) but reaches down below into the psyche and/or ‘subconscious,’  ‘personal unconscious,’ and/or Christ-consciousness stirring imagination and conferring psychic powers and divinity (you can be as God).

The foundation of Hermeticism is forbidden knowledge revealed to Hermes during a self-induced trance state resulting in the opening of his mind to contact with the Great Dragon who revealed to Hermes that his own nature is divine.  The Divine Pymander of Hermes Trismegistus relates Hermes mystical encounter with the Great Dragon who called itself Poimandres, the Mind of the Universe that is within Hermes.  (www.themystica.com/)

Upon transforming itself into a glorious being of Light the Dragon proceeded to ‘illuminate’ Hermes with the forbidden knowledge that would eventually find its’ way into Christendom during the Renaissance and eventually into William James theory of the subconscious, Jung’s transpersonal and depth psychology and all of today’s Mind Sciences, occult meditation and Word Faith systems that hold out the promise of personal power by going within:

“….all is mind and…everything is governed by law (thus man) can create, or have created for him from his own thinking.  He can create such a strong mental atmosphere of success that its power of attraction will be irresistible.  He can send his thoughts throughout the world and have it bring back to him whatever he wants.” (Creative Mind and Success, Ernest Holmes, New Thought practitioner)

Your unconscious mind (has a) power that turns wishes into realities when the wishes are strong enough.” (Norman Vincent Peale, “Positive Imaging,” 1982, p.

Like Copeland, Yonggi Cho similarly teaches that through visualizing and dreaming you will,

“….incubate that which we want God to do for us….If you have not visualized clearly in your heart exactly what you hope foe, it cannot become a reality to you…”  (The Fourth Dimension, Vol. 1, Yonggi Cho, 1979, 9-35, vol. 2, 18-33)

In “The Dust of Death,” British scholar Os Guinness argues that the two most common paths to contact with and even possession by spirits are mind-altering drugs and meditation techniques that place the mind in an altered state of consciousness (i.e., dreaming and visualization) that open the door to powers and principalities:

For those of our generation who stumble on the spirit world accidentally, the two most common paths are LSD and misapplied meditation techniques…Many who take acid regularly or who practice yoga or Zen meditation have found they have opened their minds to blackness and spiritism, seeing themselves as mediums and describing themselves as possessed.” (Guinness, pp. 298, 300)

Lifelong occult practitioner David Conway explains both the occult magic ritual (i.e., Zen Buddhism) and the eventual consequences…. madness, possession and even human sacrifice.   First the worshipper attunes himself (through dreaming and visualization, yogic trance, etc.) to the sacred mystery being performed (i.e., sending thoughts throughout the world and having them bring back whatever the practitioner wants), and then,

“…usually as the climax the presence of a particular deity is invoked (Now) the adept’s slightest gesture can thus extend through all the worlds of being into the depths of the Godhead (i.e., Oroboros), and any words he whispers will echo throughout the length and breadth of the universe…The climax to all magical ritual occurs when the adept draws into himself the astral force he has evoked so as to project it towards a chosen object.  To do this he must surrender his complete being to the astral force…waiting to possess it and this he does by cultivating….madness, akin to the divine frenzy of the Bacchantes….As he feels the force overflowing inside him the adept, while still visualizing the realized magical intention, bids it go forth to fulfill his wishes….For some magicians the dislocation of reason coincides with the moment of sacrifice.  Others perform this sacrifice before proceeding to the climax of the rite, arguing that the vital energy discharged by the victim’s blood assists the possessing entity to appear inside the circle….”(Magic: An Occult Primer, Conway, 1973, pp. 70,78,120, 198; emphasis added)

Now the Spirit manifestly saith, that in the last times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to spirits of error, and doctrines of devils.” (1 Tim. 4:1)

As apostasy overspreads the whole body of the Church and occult spiritism invades it, it is no wonder that Rev. Messer believes that what we are witnessing is the great falling away that takes place during Satan's little season when most people will worship the devil,

"There will be a great falling away from the faith in the Church, as foretold by our Lord and His apostles...so that the Church itself will accept evil and present it as good. Not only will people refuse to repent, but, influenced by Satan and his minions, they will promote sin as being salvific.  Murder will not only be condoned, but promoted in society as a good thing (abortion?)."

Tragically, both unrepentant secular individuals and increasing numbers of sinless Christians are being seduced by an occult spiritual mythology that grew out of the Renaissance and maintains that man is not fallen, that he is ultimately perfectible through a process of evolution and that by “going within” he can attain psychic powers and realize that he is “God.”

The malignant mind holding out this seductive promise is the same fallen angel who tempted Adam and Eve in the garden with the words, “Ye shall be as Gods.” (Gen. 3:5)   Of course what he really means is that all who are seduced by his promise will end up in outer darkness along with the devil and his host.

The Devil in Our Age of Apostasy

In “The Spiritist Fallacy,” a penetrating analysis of the Luciferian Theosophy and Spiritism overtaking Western civilization, the highly respected French traditionalist metaphysician Rene Guenon explained that the theories of William James (1842-1910), the father of American psychology, are examples of unconscious Satanism for two reasons.   First, James theory of “religious experience” as a manifestation of the “subconscious” by which man communicates with the Divine “within” is only one step away from “condoning the practices of spiritism” (contact with spirits) with the further consequence of conferring on evil spirits an “eminently religious character.”

Second, the notion that the subconscious puts man in contact with the Divine Substance “within” puts God,

Building off of James satanically oriented theories, the renowned psychiatrist Carl Jung (1875-1961) taught that the psyche (soul) consists of two main systems:  a personal unconscious and a deeper more significant layer which he called the collective unconscious with what he identified as archetypes.   Jung held that archetypes were innate, unconscious and universal.

Jung’s system incorporates Darwin’s materialist theory of evolution together with spiritual conceptions of evolution, reincarnation, Gnostic conceptions of Divine One Substance, ancient Egyptian Hermetic magic and various other occult doctrines and psycho-spiritual technologies from around the world.

Jung delved deeply into the occult, practiced necromancy (spiritism) and had daily contact with familiar spirits which he called archetypes because he believed they were manifestations of powers innate in the collective unconscious.

Much of Jung’s psychological insight was acquired from his familiar spirits, particularly Philemon and Basilides.  Philemon appeared to Jung in humanoid body with wings and the head of a horned bull.    At first Jung thought his spirit familiars (demons) were manifestations of his own psyche, but toward the end of his life he realized with horror that Philemon, Basilides and the many other spirit entities that were a common feature of his life were in fact highly intelligent hostile beings independent of human consciousness.   Speaking of Philemon, Jung said:

Philemon represented a force which was not myself…..I held conversations with him, and he said things which I had not consciously thought.

Jung uses the name Abraxas to describe the impersonal Gnostic pleroma (i.e., impersonal World Spirit, Brahman) out of which mind and then other mental powers emerged.  The word Abraxas is found in esoteric Gnostic texts such as the Holy Book of the Great Invisible Spirit and also in the Greek Magical Papyri.

In 1916 Jung received revelations from his demon familiars during the (automatic) writing of a Gnostic treatise called The Seven Sermons to the Dead.   This text, which describes Abraxas as a “God” higher than the Christian God and devil that combines all opposites into one Being, has been labeled a core text in depth psychology.

Underlying Jung’s demon-derived Gnostic “transpersonal and depth psychology” is the age-old technology of alchemy and its magical meaning: the ancient Egyptian Hermetic Principle of the correlation of the Divine Substance (Abraxas) with the mind of man, “As above, so below.”   The Hermetic principle is symbolized by the Oroboros---the great chain of being, cosmic tree of life or with Darwin the tree of life.  In modern Luciferian theosophical thought for example, the Oroboros “above” (Abraxas) corresponds to a number of different astral planes and sub-planes comprising the habitations of all supernatural entites,

“….the locale of gods and demons, the void where the thoughtforms dwell, the region inhabited by spirits of the air and other elements, and the various heavens and hells with their angelic and demonic hosts…With the help of ritual procedures, trained persons believe that they can ‘rise on the planes,’ and experience these regions in full awareness.” (Beyond the Body: The Human Double and the Astral Planes, Benjamin Walker, 1974, pp. 117-8)

As a powerful occult symbol, the Oroboros is the seething power, creative and/or evolutionary impulse or energy of the serpent (devil) figuratively depicted as either a serpent or dragon eating its own tail.

The serpent’s body is depicted as the Great Chain of Being or the Cosmic Tree of life.   Thus the serpent’s body (Tree of Life) with its’ supposed multiple dimensions and life-giving serpent power not only powers the World Spirit or Abraxas (collective unconscious with its archetypes) but reaches into the psyche, or with James the ‘subconscious’ and with Jung the ‘personal unconscious’, stirring imagination and conferring psychic powers and divinity (you can be as God).

The Apostle Paul neither speaks of cosmic trees and the gods and demons supposedly dwelling there in their respective heavens and hells nor of the collective unconscious with its archetypes but of fallen angels, the hostile “spirits of wickedness under the heavens” (Eph. 6:12) and their chief, “the prince of the powers of the air.” (Eph. 2:2)

According to Paul, fallen angels are dispersed in a multitude throughout the whole expanse of sky which is visible to us---the dwelling place for the host of fallen angels cast down from heaven as well as for the whole host of demons.   This means that Jung’s Abraxas (collective unconscious with its archetypes) is actually the expanse of sky under the heavens where fallen angels and demons dwell and which supposedly connects the body of the snake to the mind of man and up which he or she ascends upon the occult Path of Life or Western Magical Way (spiritual evolution) through ritual practice of psycho-spiritual technologies (i.e., Reiki, Alpha Course, Silva Method, channeling, yogic trance, musical ecstasy) to reach divine status and gain psychic powers.

This brings us back to Rene Guenon who explained that the theories of William James (1842-1910) and by extension Carl Jung’s demon derived theory of collective unconscious with its archetypes (basis of Jung’s transpersonal and depth psychology) are examples of unconscious Satanism.   The infernal idea that by “going within” the “subconscious” (James) or “personal unconscious” (Jung) man can become one with the Divine “within” is only one step away from “condoning the practices of spiritism” (contact with spirits) with the further consequences of conferring on evil spirits an “eminently religious character” and becoming oppressed and possessed by them.

Today most psychologists, being heavily influenced by Jung’s demon-derived theories, insist that what they call “paranormal experiences” (i.e., Ouija board communications, voices speaking into one’s mind, terrifying apparitions) are perhaps hallucinations caused by the powers of human imagination or representations of interplay between the left and right hemispheres of the brain and/or the therapeutic release of unconscious repressions.

However, there are increasing numbers of psychologists and psychiatrists who now frankly affirm their belief in evil spirits and their ability to oppress and possess human beings.  In his classic, “Channeling,” Jon Klimo quotes psychiatrist Ralph B. Allison who says,

I have come to believe in the possibility of spirit possession….by demonic spirits from satanic realms, and that’s an area I don’t care to discuss or be a part of…” (Klimo, Channeling, p. 182 from America: The Sorcerer’s New Apprentice, Hunt & McMahon, p. 161)

In his bestselling books, “The Road Less Traveled” and “People of the Lie” M. Scott Peck chronicles his odyssey from vague identification with Buddhist and Islamic mysticism to an intellectual assent of “God” and “Satan.”  Peck refers to two specific cases of exorcism that convinced him of the reality of demon possession.  Declaring that he had “personally met Satan face to face,” Peck explained:

When the demonic finally spoke….an expression appeared on the patient’s face that could be described only as Satanic.  It was an incredibly contemptuous grin of utter hostile malevolence. (In the second case) when the demonic finally revealed itself….it was with a still more ghastly expression.   The patient suddenly resembled a writhing snake….viciously attempting to bite the team members.” (ibid, p. 162)

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Ephesians 6:12 "Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day..." Ephesian 6:13-14

The corollary to our age of apostasy is the rapid spread of satanic psycho-spiritual technologies.  Many of America’s largest, most powerful corporations with branches in numerous countries have redefined occult psycho-spiritual technologies as the latest techniques for creative thinking, speed reading and personal success and business performance.    Following on the heels of the mind-altering substances flooding our schools are yoga and channeling.   Children are being taught to “go within” and contact their spirit guides.   Spiritual formation classes (satanic psycho-spiritual technologies redefined as the traditional contemplative prayer that originated with certain Church Fathers, was practiced by St. Augustine, certain Reformers and Catholics) are taught in Hybels and Rick Warrens goatish mega-churches where earthly bread, yoga and musical ecstasy draped by a limp cross are usual offerings.   Then there is the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) that emerged from the Pentecostal and Charismatic movement.  Its’ Super Apostles (2 Cor. 11:13) channel ‘spirits,’ thus they are “enlightened elements” who claim that they have been given authority by the Spirit of “God” to build a kingdom of “God” on earth---a unified and/or pluralistic Global Church.    All of this spiritual rot is quickly filtering into undiscerning contemporary-minded Christian churches.

The common thread running through all of this is the mind of the same fallen angel who tempted Adam and Eve in the Garden with the words, “Ye shall be as Gods” (Gen. 3:5) but now seduces with the words, “go within.”

Revelation 9: Satan's Little Season

Contemporary Western and American societies have largely rejected their Christian heritage and as a result are now lightless neo-pagan societies that in the name of political correctness openly promote vice (sin).  More than thirty years ago this disastrous state of affairs, though not as advanced as today, had already convinced Malcolm Muggeridge  (1903 – 1990), English journalist, author, and media personality that Western civilization was disintegrating and dying.   In his early life Muggeridge was a left-wing sympathizer who in later years became a forceful anti-communist.  Eventually Muggeridge accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and became a Catholic.

In an inaugural address given at the University of Waterloo, October 1978, Muggeridge lamented the decline and coming death of Western and American civilization:

"In one lifetime I have seen my fellow countrymen ruling over a quarter of the world, the great majority of them convinced, in the words of what is still a favorite song, that “God who’s made the mighty would make them mightier yet.” I’ve heard a crazed, cracked Austrian proclaim to the world the establishment of a German Reich that would last for a thousand years; an Italian clown announce that he would restart the calendar to begin with his own assumption of power; a murderous Georgian brigand in the Kremlin acclaimed by the intellectual elite of the Western world as wiser than Solomon, more enlightened than Asoka, more humane than Marcus Aurelius. I’ve seen America wealthier and in terms of weaponry more powerful than all the rest of the world put together, so that Americans, had they so wished, could have outdone an Alexander or a Julius Caesar in the range and scale of their conquests. All in one little lifetime. All gone with the wind." ( Malcolm Muggeridge excerpted from "The End of Christendom" published by Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing Company, Grand Rapids, Mich., 1980)

Yet as faithful Christians, said Muggeridge, we know that civilizations die, and here in this world we who are pilgrims, have no continuing city,

"...crowns roll in the dust and every earthly kingdom must sometime flounder, whereas we acknowledge a King men did not crown and cannot dethrone, as are citizens of a city of God they did not build and cannot destroy.”  (ibid,  The End of Christendom, p. 52)

Scripture explains that from the antediluvian world to our own all civilizations are eventually overwhelmed by the unfettered sin nature of men.  This results in an idolatrous, immoral society that openly advocates evil, and evil being a parasite on good, such civilizations disintegrate and die in stages.

With respect to American civilization the first stage was set in motion more than eighty years ago when citizens began turning away from the Triune God, the Divine Source of unchanging Truth, Moral Law and life in favor of paganism, subjectivism (man is the measure of all things) and idolatry---preference for self over our Lord and other people.

The beginning of subjectivism is pride (love of self), the perfect anti-God, anti-truth, anti-moral law state of mind. Subjectivism is an anarchy of selfishness that inverts change over the unchanging things of our Lord (i.e., immutable Truth, Moral Law) and by extension, evil over good.   Subjectivism very obviously works through the disordered hearts of increasing numbers of people at every level of society, both Christian and secular, who see themselves as the measure of everything.

In practice subjectivism has led narcissistic theologians to elevate science (what man says) over the Revelation of God and to reject creation ex nihilo, Original Sin, heaven and hell in favor of an inverted exegesis, that is, an anti-creation evolutionary cosmology bespeaking an evolutionary ascent from primordial matter, or in the words of Carl Sagan-- star-stuff .

According to the eminent historian Frank Baumer, evolution inverts reality by persuading,

"....people to think of everything in nature as the fruit of a gradual growth rather than an original creation." The sweeping acceptance of evolutionary thinking means that it is "now difficult if not impossible for an educated man to conceive of a primitive revelation such as traditional Christianity taught, or even of an original natural religion from which men had declined." This difficulty arises because "in an evolving world, perfection obviously lay, not in the past, but in the future." (Religion and Rise of Skepticism, p. 147)

The elevation of science over the Revelation of God together with abandonment of special creation in favor of evolution results in both lawless, lightless churches and subjectivist societies.

When the Spirit of the Lord abandons a subjectivist society, one of the first things to become subject to the influence of evil spirits are the thoughts and feelings of citizens:

This often results in a complete attitude of indifference to any spiritual influence, and to an open rejection of any belief in God.  The Word of God loses its power to speak, and God’s promises become meaningless.  The person finds he can only entertain evil thoughts in his mind and ideas which are opposed to God.  He is gripped with a passion for lying and impure thoughts.  Indeed, the desire to lie so fills him that he does so unconsciously. In spite of feeling no remorse for his sins, he will be plagued with a continuous feeling of restlessness, with a lack of peace, and depressive moods.”  (Occult Bondage, Kurt Koch, p. 140)

Kerby  Anderson concurs.  When people no longer look to the supernatural Holy God for wisdom and guidance,

"...they become vain and futile and empty in their imaginations. They no longer honor God, so their foolish hearts become darkened. In professing to be wise, they have become fools." (The Decline of a Nation, Kerby Anderson, leaderu.com)

In  other words, their conscience becomes depraved, their will turns toward evil and their reasoning, or cognitive thought processes become vain and foolish because in turning away from the Holy God of Revelation, the Creator and upholder of life and intellect, they freely accept a position about themselves that is intellectually foolish and unlivable with regard to the universe, the origin of conscious life, who and what man is and what his purpose is.   Thus they are left with a position (i.e., life evolved from star stuff) that is unable to account either for the origin of life or for their own "conscious self" (spirit/soul).  Nor does this unlivable position provide them with any meaning and purpose. Thus sooner or later they become tormented by bitterness, compulsive dark thoughts of suicide and murder;  hideous nightmares, the dreadful sensation of standing atop an abyss, anxiety states, paranoia and persecution complexes.

Anderson writes that in the next stage darkened souls inevitably exchange their natural use of sex for unnatural uses:

"Here the Apostle Paul says those four sobering words, "God gave them over." In a society where lust- driven sensuality and sexual perversion dominate, God gives them over to their degrading passions and unnatural desires."

Degradation leads to addiction to pornography and an obscenely sexualized culture.  Individually, those given over are characterized by a mix of the following: warped, distorted, freakish characters, narcissism, hard egoism, and uncongenial dark natures issuing in extreme, uncontrollable passions resulting in abnormal, compulsive sexuality, sodomy, bestiality, pederasty, pedophilia, lesbianism, androgyny (transgender), fetishes and sadomasochism:

"The Folsom Street Fair turns 30 on Sunday, Sept. 21. The annual celebration of leather, fetish and BDSM communities brings hundreds of thousands of people to SoMa...Among the more fashion-centric kinks on the rise are sports uniforms (Sports Authority is a sponsor this year), human “puppy gear” (just as it sounds) and adult-baby costuming (ditto). Be on the lookout for both canine courses and a new adult-baby playpen space as concessions to these emerging fetishes."  (Folsom Street Fair: Tips for weathering the fetish festival, Tony Bravo, sfgate.com, September 19, 2014 )

The third stage is anarchy:

"Once a society has rejected God's revelation, it is on its own. Moral and social anarchy is the natural result. At this point God has given the sinners over to a depraved mind and so they do things which are not proper. This results in a society which is without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, and unmerciful."

Anarchy means automatic rebellion against every vestige of true truth, virtue, rules, order, and authority and the depraved insistence that there is no essential difference between good and evil, natural and unnatural, truth and lie.  All sense seems like nonsense; nothing is ever right, natural, good and true resulting in Nietzsche's trans-valuation of values solidified in cursing, blasphemy, scoffing, mocking, cruel criticism, contempt, ridicule, meanness, spite, hate, violence, wrath, explosive rage, belligerence, theft, rape, incest, murder, killing of babies, beatings, and terrorism.

The final stage is abandonment and judgment:

"God's judgment rightly falls upon those who practice idolatry and immorality. Certainly an eternal judgment awaits those who are guilty, but a social judgment occurs when God gives a nation over to its sinful practices."  (ibid, Kerby Anderson)

Idolaters are subject to demonic oppression and possession issuing in confusion, apathy, nihilism, psychosis, psychopathy, blasphemous thoughts, words and acts against Jesus Christ, the Christian Church, orthodox Christians faithful Jews, Christian symbols, Holy Days, and prayer and the vain belief that all that exists is nature or cosmos (matter), hence there can be no relevance in anything beyond our senses; there is nothing above us and no hell below.

Judgment falls upon a spiritually dead idolatrous society that has made an enemy of the Holy God and takes refuge in naturalism, rebellion, negation, lies, and heresy.  In its' blindness it cannot see that it is worshipping the devil and has entered into a covenant with death and hell.

"When the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?" Luke 18:8

The Lutheran pastor, the Reverend Thomas Messer of Peace Lutheran Church in Alma, Michigan, has studied Revelation extensively, and after an exhaustive survey of  America's idolatrous, morally relative post-Christian culture and narcissistic postmodern church Reverend Messer wonders if we may already be living in the 'little season' of Satan.

In his commentary on Revelation 9, Rev. Messer observes that during Satan's little season people will worship anything and everything but the Holy Trinity.   However, this 'new' spirituality,

"...is worshipping demons and idols, etc.' There is no middle ground.  Either you worship the Holy Trinity or you worship the devil."

In agreement, Dr. Peter Jones, Director of truthXchange, and Adjunct Professor and Scholar in Residence, Westminster Theological Seminary warns that the 'new' spirituality overtaking the Church, America and the West is not new but is rather,

" ....the reappearance of the massive system of ancient world paganism and, as such, represents the greatest threat to the church since the Greco-Roman pagan empire. The situation is urgent."   ("The New Spirituality: Dismantling and Reconstructing Reality," Dr. Jones, modernreformation.org)

Jones sees that both the culture-friendly, increasingly 'green' seeker-sensitive theology of the emergent church growth movement and the New Apostolic Reformation already have much in common with 'new' pagan spirituality and the feckless contemporary church is quickly following suit, meaning that the Church Militant is becoming the postmodern Church Imitant,

"...adopting "a new Christian worldview" that, devoid of theological biblical clarity, apes the pagan culture and concludes that "the body of Christ is queer, is man, is woman, is straight."  The "new Christian" employs spiritual techniques borrowed from pagan mysticism and imitates the self-justifying moralism of liberal social action." (ibid, Peter Jones)

Dr. Albert Mohler, President of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary warns that the Protestant Evangelical Church is splitting apart. On one side are authentic orthodox Christians exiting the 'new' church, while on the other is the pride-fueled, entertainment-addicted contemporary "new" church which defines itself over and against authentic Christianity.   Whereas authentic Christians reject the dangerous idea of  accommodating the church to culture, the trendy "new" church is willing to adopt cultural practices to reach pagans, atheists and agnostics:

"This means  whatever is influencing the culture can more easily come into the church because  we are adopting its ways. Previously what is spiritually harmful has been coming  through the backdoor instead of the front. Now it’s knocking on the front door,  and many are answering it by opening it and inviting it in. This is done because  of a lack of judgment on leader’s part. While everyone is making a fuss about the  Da Vinci code released to persuade the public on Christianity we have not  recognized what is taking place in our own living room – the church." (New Age Pathways in the church, letusreason.org)

Due to a devastating loss of biblical and doctrinal conviction, this dangerous trend is increasingly evident in growing numbers of contemporary Catholic and evangelical churches:

"....more and more Christians are willing to reject or compromise the uniqueness of Christ and His atonement, citing the apparent 'sincerity' of those who worship other gods, or no god at all."  Due to loss of theological nerve,  many "American Christians seem increasingly reluctant to believe that their unsaved neighbors will go to hell.... the essence of this belief is universalism, the belief that all persons will be saved...in spite of what (God) reveals in Holy Scripture. These persons believe in a God of their own devising, and not the God of the Bible....Their stance betrays their lack of conviction and even compassion.  Their conscience is uncluttered by concern for the lost." (The Disappearance of God, R. Albert Mohler Jr., pp. 184-186)

Rev. Messer believes that what we are witnessing is the great falling away that takes place during Satan's little season when most people will worship the devil,

" There will be a great falling away from the faith in the Church, as foretold by our Lord and His apostles...so that the Church itself will accept evil and present it as good. Not only will people refuse to repent, but, influenced by Satan and his minions, they will promote sin as being salvific.  Murder will not only be condoned, but promoted in society as a good thing (abortion?)."

New-age occult spirituality in the forms, devices and esoteric doctrines of universal energy (i.e., evolution, Vril, Kundalini, serpent power, zoe), transformational festivals, magic, psychics, Ouija boards, yoga, transcendental meditation, hypnotism, mind-altering drugs,  Wicca, Satanism, fortune-telling, faith healing, crystals, tarot cards, scientology, ghost-hunting, Hermetic Cabbala, pyramid power, astral-plane travel, out-of-body experiences, channeling and more, is overtaking both the West and the accommodating Christian Church marked by loss of transcendent truth and biblical and doctrinal conviction.

"And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit."    Rev. 9

In his Concise Commentary, Matthew Henry writes that upon sounding the fifth trumpet, a star, which Matthew identifies  as both an angel and as apostate theologians, fell from heaven to the earth. The apostate theologian, having ceased to be a minister of Christ becomes the minister of the devil and lets loose the powers of hell---a great host of corrupters who overspread the Christian Church.  On the opening of the bottomless pit, there arises a great smoke. Out of this smoke there comes a swarm of locusts, emblems of the devil's agents who promote superstition, idolatry, error, hatred and cruelty. The devil carries on his designs by blinding the eyes of men,  putting out light and knowledge, and promoting ignorance and error. The power is limited to a short season; but will be very sharp. In such events the faithful share the common calamity, but from the pestilence of error they will be safe.

In closing, Rev. Messer points to all of these ominous signs of apostasy, disintegration, madness and death, saying they should awaken Christians to the fact that we may very well indeed be living in the 'little season' of Satan.

The West's Gnostic Caste System: Gnostikoi, Psychics and Somatics

Without our realizing it, the chief ancient and modern rival of supernatural Christianity--Gnostic Modernism (occult pantheism)---has triumphed over the West and America.   It emerged out of the Renaissance and began its' infiltration of the American Christian church at the beginning of the last century.   In speaking of its' inroads J. Gresham Machen said,

"A terrible crisis has arisen in the Church. In the ministry of evangelical  churches are to be found hosts of those who reject the gospel of Christ. By the  equivocal use of traditional phrases, by the representation of differences of  opinion as though they were only differences about the interpretation of the  Bible, entrance into the Church was secured for those who are hostile to the  very foundations of the faith. And now there are some indications that the  fiction of conformity to the past is to be thrown off, and the real meaning of  what has been taking place is to be allowed to appear. The Church, it is now  apparently supposed, has almost been educated up to the point where the shackles  of the Bible can openly be cast away and the doctrine of the Cross of Christ can  be relegated to the limbo of discarded subtleties." (Liberalism or Christianity, Machen, The Princeton Theological Review, Vol. 20, No. 1, 1922, Page 93, Whitehorse Inn)

For faithful orthodox Christians, the 'very foundations of the faith' are the first eleven chapters of the Book of Genesis and to a greater degree, the Christian worldview.  Genesis is the Divine account of the origin of the universe, of all life, of the creation and purpose of man and woman, the foundation and purpose of marriage, the roles of the two sexes male and female, and of the value of children.

In His divine revelation God also tells us what went wrong with the world and man in the account of the fall and reveals something of man’s cosmic adversary and his timeless methods of deception and seduction used to lead men away from God.  Thus the question of evil, suffering, and death is explained in the first eleven chapters of Genesis as well as the ‘fix,’ meaning the only way of salvation.

Gnostic Modernism (mystical pantheist spirituality) and its' materialist evolutionary counterpart are subtly disguised syncretic mixtures of Babylonian Cabalism, ancient Egyptian Hermetic magic, the Mysteries from the time of Babylon, spiritual evolution, Greek and Roman nature religions, Eastern mysticism, reincarnation, karma and an inverted evolutionary account bespeaking the evolutionary transformation of various creatures into human beings.

The primary doctrine for both variations is an inverted evolutionary account of origins.  Other commonalities are denial of creation ex nihilo, the incarnation and deity of Jesus Christ and His resurrection, and  denial of hell.  Gnostics of both stripes find salvation in the gnosis of elite men such as scientists, philosophers, and spiritual gurus and either teach a godless evolving  universe of matter or a pantheist based conception of God as divine energy, Life force, Mind of the Universe, Christ consciousness, or Omega, for example.    Gnostic Modernism further claims that as God is supposedly in everything, and everything is continuously evolving, then God is always in process of 'becoming' or 'changing.'   Thus all things, including the Bible and the Christian church, the two sexes, truth, and moral laws must change or become 'contemporary' too.

Within Darwinian biological evolution, evolutionary dynamics are not empirical science but rather metaphysical conceptions while in theological modernism they are spiritual conceptions.  From the time of the Renaissance when high-ranking, influential Christian Churchmen, intellectuals, and mystics had rejected the fundamental teachings of Christian theism in favor of the Mysteries, Cabalism and other ancient creeds on through to the German Idealists of early 19th century, evolution was viewed as a spiritual conception bespeaking progress (transformation) of spirit over time within many different bodies.

The German Idealists were mystical philosophers of pantheism who predated Darwin's Origin of Species by at least half a century.  In 1799 the mystic philosopher Friedrich Schelling summarized what was fascinating him as well as his mystical contemporaries such as J.G. Fichte and the occult Hermetic magician Hegel:

"History as a whole is a progressive, gradually self-disclosing revelation of the Absolute." (A Brief History of Evolutionary Spirituality, Tom Huston)

The modern conception of spiritual evolution can be traced to Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz.  Writing on “The Ultimate Origin of Things” in the year 1697—six years after speculating in his Protogaea that over the vast course of the earth’s history “even the species of animals have many times been transformed” he claimed that,

a cumulative increase of the beauty and universal perfection of the works of God, a perpetual and unrestricted progress of the universe as a whole must be recognized, such that it advances to a higher state of development.”

Though the idea that man and creation are not fallen but rather evolving upward from primordial matter in a ceaseless ascent toward perfection had already been intuited over seventy years earlier by the German mystic Jakob Böhme, it was Leibniz who first placed it in a scientific context.

Over the next few decades Gnostic thinkers such as Diderot, Maupertuis, Buffon, and Voltaire all wrote about the fascinating topic of evolution but, "like any self-respecting champions of the Age of Enlightenment, rarely felt compelled to inject divinity into their more scientific speculations."

By upholding the liberating power of rationalism, science and evolution to subvert the fundamentals of the Bible and Christian theism, they actively sought to draw a clear distinction between science and spirituality, reason and religion.  In this context, through much of the eighteenth century, the many musings about the idea of evolution frequently took on a strictly naturalistic or materialistic tone:

"It was only around 1799, ten years after the storming of the Bastille, which ignited the French Revolution and cemented the success of the rational Enlightenment in the annals of the Western mind, that these varied intimations of evolution finally congealed into a cohesive new model of reality. Arising, once again, from the fertile depths of the German zeitgeist, it was a cosmological and metaphysical paradigm that seamlessly united science and spirituality—an evolutionary vision that stretched from the simplest atoms of the distant past to a sacred future in which human society would perfectly reflect the transcendent unity of the Divine. " (ibid, Huston)

In his essay, "The Paganization of New Testament Studies," Dr. Peter Jones exposes theological progressivism as neo-pagan Gnosticism and writes that throughout its history, its' primary goal has been the,

"... importation into the church via the use of Christian terminology, of the various historic expressions of pagan notions, in particular, the denial of God's transcendence. In this sense, the first "liberals" were the Gnostics. Certainly a form of Gnosticism, sometimes called proto-Gnosticism is behind the denial of the incarnation in the Johannine epistles, and of the resurrection in the early and later Paulines. Interestingly, the Liberals of the modern period have had great admiration for the proto-Gnostics, in particular, Marcion. In A.D. 150, Marcion, a theologian from Pontus in Asia Minor, was excommunicated from the Church in Rome for heretical teaching. He dismissed God the Creator, the Old Testament, the Mosaic law, and three of the gospels. From the few epistles of Paul that he accepted, he expunged Old Testament quotations and claimed to worship the "alien god" behind the God of Scripture. "

Twentieth century's most dangerous expression of secular Gnosticism was Marxist Communism, a form of Manichean Gnosticism.  Also called scientific socialism, Marxist Communism was the first natural religion of scientific evolutionary Gnostic atheism to emerge out of the “God is dead” Enlightenment period.  Since scientific socialism is a religion of  'matter' and the energies that work on matter it requires the unmaking of man created in the spiritual likeness of the living, personal Creator.

Bella Dodd was an important leader of the Communist Party of America (CPUSA) in the 1930' s and 1940's. Her book, "School of Darkness" (1954) reveals that Communism---the promise of a utopia-- was a hoax perpetrated by a banker/corporatist coterie "to control the common man" and to advance world tyranny.  In chapter eleven of Dodd's book she notes that the unmaking of man as God's spiritual image-bearer is the key to the spiritual, intellectual and physical enslavement of mankind:

“This is the key to the mental enslavement of mankind: that the individual is made into nothing, that he operates as the physical part of what is considered a higher group intelligence and acts at the will of that higher intelligence….”

The mental and physical enslavement (dehumanization of the masses) is required by highly evolved gnostikoi (pneumatics), proud spiritual elites who see themselves as the only ones capable of reason and of ordering the lives of everyone else, right down to the smallest detail.

In "Against the Protestant Gnostics," (p. 34) pastor and theologian Philip J, Lee writes that gnostikoi take it upon themselves to divide humankind into three categories:

1. Somatic (hylic): the masses of unevolved mindless beast-men who are content to exist on a bodily level: eating, drinking, defecating, sleeping, partying, copulating, sodomizing each other, and dying.  Hylic are mere beast-men beyond help.

2. Psychics: those who function at the higher level of mind, intellect, emotions---the commonsense types who comprise the majority of the Church, Tea Partiers, etc.

3. Pneumatics: the elite spiritual gnostikoi----the man-gods comprising America's Progressive Ruling Class.

The Gnostic Basilides, when asked if somatics could really be called men at all, categorically denied it.   Sounding just like modern gnostic Marxists, their fascist brethren and America's gnostic "elites" who dehumanized the masses in order to destroy the family, enslave, manipulate, propagandize, indoctrinate, gas, starve to death, euthanize and abort them, Basilides said:

"We are men; all the others are pigs and dogs."  (ibid, Lee)

Modern Gnostic regimes (Marxist Communism, Hitler's Socialism) began by rejecting the Triune God and Christ's deity, denying objective standards of right and wrong, and forcing Darwinism---which dehumanizes mankind---onto an unwitting population.   Darwinism allows the gnostikoi to throw out sanctity of life and reduce mankind to matter in motion.  The end case in every instance, was to place absolute power over dehumanized masses (somatics) in the hands of antihuman psychopaths and autocratic states to be wielded without restraint or mercy.

Of all belief systems, modern Gnosticism has been by far the bloodiest.  In his book, Death by Government, R.J. Rummel comprehensively details the roughly 170 million people murdered by Gnostic governments during the 20th century.

Even at its mildest, as is thus far the case here in America, there is a steady level of lying, confiscation, corruption, fraud, and stifling of freedoms and free speech.  For the first time ever, Americans are afraid of saying certain words.  Parents fear disciplining their own children.  More ominously, the gnostikoi in control of American institutions---government, seminaries, education, media, science, finance, and law have nearly succeeded in replacing the living, transcendent God with Darwinism, thus allowing them to throw out both sanctity of life and objective standards.  "We the people" have been dehumanized---reduced to matter and energy in motion.

As early as 1926, President Calvin Coolidge was aware of and deeply concerned by the insidious spread evolutionary materialism (Gnostic neo-paganism) in America.  As he knew, Americans are free only because of the supernatural Judeo-Christian foundation laid by the country's founders.  In a speech he delivered in Philadelphia (July 5, 1926) to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence he tried to call Americans back to their Biblically-based heritage.

He reminded Americans that the Declaration's principles of liberty arise from man's God-given inalienable rights.  And these are found, said Coolidge,

"in the texts, the sermons, and the writings of the early colonial clergy..."  The clergy preached equality "because they believed in the fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man."  Sanctity of life, the right to self-defense, and all the rest of our individual liberties were justified "by the text that we are all created in the divine image, all partakers of the divine spirit."  God's children therefore, have no "superiors" there are no modern-day "divine rights kings"  (or gnostikoi) who possess "any right to rule...over them." (Back Fired, William Federer, pp. 269-271)

The Declaration,

"(is) a great spiritual document."  Its principles are not material but spiritual.  "Equality, liberty, popular sovereignty, the rights of man---these are not elements we can see and touch.  They are ideals (whose) source and roots (are) in religious convictions.  They belong to the unseen world." (ibid)

President Coolidge cautioned Americans that,

"......unless the faith of the Americans in these religious convictions is to endure, the principles of our Declaration will perish.  We can not continue to enjoy the result if we abandon the cause." (ibid)

Coolidge ended his speech with a stark warning:

"We must not sink into a pagan materialism..."

Issuing another wake-up call, Dr. Jones closed his essay with a warning that comes from Johannes van Oort, Professor of church history and the history of dogma at the University of Utrecht, the Netherlands, and world expert on Manichean Gnosticism.  Oort states a fact and gives a challenge:

"…Gnosis in one form or another is expected to become the main expression of secular religion in the new millennium. In order to equip the Church for this new age, the scientific study of Gnosticism is vital."

Technological Singularity: Hermetic Magic + Alchemy + Sci Fi = Becoming like God

Trans-humanist Ray Kurzweil, director of engineering at  Google claims that by 2100 the biological parts of our body will be replaced with  mechanical parts and in just over 30 years, humans will become digitally immortal by uploading their entire minds to computers  - an event  called singularity.  (We'll be uploading our entire MINDS to computers by 2045 and our bodies will be  replaced by machines within 90 years, Google expert claims, Victoria Woollaston, 19 June 2013, dailymail.co.uk)

In Romans 1:25, the Apostle Paul describes the only two options available in response to questions concerning the ultimate origin of the cosmos and life.  These two are worship of the living Creator or worship of His creation.    At the foundation of the technological singularity is the latter: naturalism and/or monism, which refers to the view that nature (or matter) is the Ultimate Substance of which the universe and all life are made, thus “all is one.”    The ancient Babylonians,  Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, Aztecs and modern Latter Day Saints in the West and in the east, Buddhists and Hindus are for example, naturalists.  In this view there is but one realm (the material or natural) as opposed to Judeo-Christianity’s creation ex nihilo model with its two interacting realms: natural and supernatural.

Kurzweil's brand of trans-humanism is a  wild and crazy mix of neo-pagan monism combining an esoteric view of mystical dialectical matter with Hermetic magic ,Mystery Religion, an occult Tree of Life or Great Chain of Being, alchemy, both biological (Darwinian) and spiritual evolutionary conceptions, Eastern pantheism, science fiction and highly-evolved extraterrestrials.

Whereas the Genesis account speaks of a fall from good (high point), trans-humanism reverses this order.  Everything somehow begins at the bottom--from nothing---and then miraculously evolves up the Tree of Life by its own amazing powers, thereby affirming on one hand that living beings created themselves and on the other, that their spirits are free, meaning untouched by the living, triune God.

According to this account, billions of years ago there was nothing.   But then through an alchemical process 'something' finally transcended itself, allowing a process of transmutation (what astrophysicists call vacuum fluctuation) of nothing into a singularity (bright light) from which our universe (matter) was born.  After another billion years or so (mystical thinking) atoms, especially carbon atoms, which according to Kurzweil can of themselves create rich information structures, combined and  transcended themselves, allowing for the complex molecules that in turn resulted in physics.   Physics, said Kurzweil, gave rise to (mystical) chemistry.   A billion years later, chemistry transcended itself allowing for another transmutation process, this time of chemistry into a complex (thinking and life-bearing) molecule called DNA, which by its' own dialectic and life-bearing properties could "precisely encode lengthy strings of information" according to Kurzweil, thereby generating living organisms by way of its' information "programs."

So mystical chemistry transcended itself giving rise to biology:  thinking and life-bearing molecular organisms pregnant with communication and decision networks called nervous systems that over another billion years or so finally transcended themselves allowing for transmutation into brains.  Thus trans-humanists went from nothing, to singularity, to mystical thinking atoms to mystical chemistry to thinking and life-bearing DNA to brains and finally to Kurzweil, et al.

Behind evolutionary biology is an ancient esoteric science, meaning that like all Mystery Religions, both ancient and contemporary, it has both an exoteric or outer meaning for mass consumption and a hidden, or esoteric meaning, for higher initiates like Kurzweil.  Hiding beneath the idea that conscious life will eventually arise from a transmutation-process of something from nothing is the age-old technology of alchemy and its magical or mystical meaning: the Hermetic principle of the macrocosm's  correlation with the microcosm (man), “As above, so below” symbolized by the Singularity and occult tree of life.

Hermes is the father of the magic tradition.  His world-famous magic formula demonstrates the consubstantiality (oneness) of Herme's  divine intellect with the Divine One Substance/Tree of Life (Singularity) above.  In teaching the meaning of the formula to his son Tat he said:

"The intellect, O Tat, is drawn from the very substance of God.  In men, this intellect is God, and so some men are gods and their humanity is near to divinity...If man makes right use of (God's gifts), he differs in no way from the immortals."  (God and the Knowledge of Reality, Thomas Molnar, p. 78)

Hermes Trismegistus had a guru, a teacher called Poimander who taught Hermes that,

"Unless you make yourself equal to God, you cannot understand God, for the like is not intelligible save to the like." (ibid, p. 79)

In order for the magic to work, matter (the Singularity, prikriti matter, World Spirit or Divine One Substance) must either pre-exist or have come into being from the Big Bang.   In either scenario, all being is at bottom one, or monistic.

Alchemical trans-humanism is based on a Pelagian view of humanity. Human nature is supposedly good, thus the possibility for evolutionary perfection is always present. Human beings are not flawed by the effects of ethical rebellion against the God of Revelation.  Given the evolutionary outlook, trans-humanism's  self-transcendence (divinization) of mere man becomes a sociological imperative:

At the stage we have reached in scientific research our minds and intelligence will have to surpass themselves and rise to transcendent heights; the human, all-too human, will no longer suffice.” ( Mircea Eliade, The Forge and the Crucible: The Origins and  Structures of Alchemy, Dr. Erdmann)

The self-transcending Hermetic practitioner said Molnar, strives first for separation of the soul from the body (purification), and second, for the spiritualization and divinization of all matter.     Darwin's formula attains the first goal while inventers of theories of spiritual/cosmic evolution made possible the second.

Molnar writes that travelers on this second highway were characteristically recruited from theology.  Representatives are:

"Bergson, Laberthonniere, Le Roy, Blondel, Bloch, Teilhard de Chardin, Heidegger, Bultmann, Karl Rahner, and numerous others..."  (God and the Knowledge of Reality, p. 133)

With Teilhard's idea, after billions of years of evolution, matter finally transcended itself thus allowing the transmutation of matter into a divine substance.   Now that the One Substance or Singularity is divine, said Teilhard:

"The great affair for modern mankind is to break its way out by forcing some threshold of greater consciousness." Christians should not fear the natural processes of evolution because it brings them inexorably to God and self-deification, "Though frightened for a moment by evolution, the Christian now perceives that what it offers him is...a magnificent means of (being) at one with God..."    (Genesis, Creation, and Early Man, Fr. Seraphim Rose, p. 590)

Humanist/trans-humanist philosophy, naturalism (monism), Hermetic magic, Cabala, Great Chain of Being, evolution, reincarnation and other forms of occultism were two sides of the same revival of Renaissance paganism underlying the intellectual edifice of modern science. Thus, C.S. Lewis argued in his great masterpiece, That Hideous Strength, occultism and humanistic rationalism are not enemies in principle but rather cooperating philosophies that are united against supernatural Christian theism and Christian civilization.

Lewis underscores this point in "The Abolition of Man:"

"You will even find people who write about the sixteenth century as if Magic were a medieval survival and Science the new thing that came in to sweep it away. Those who have studied the period know better. There was very little magic in the Middle Ages: the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries are the high noon of magic. The serious magical endeavour and the serious scientific endeavour are twins: one was sickly and died, the other strong and throve. But they were twins. They were born of the same impulse. I allow that some (certainly not all) of the early scientists were actuated by a pure love of knowledge. But if we consider the temper of that age as a whole we can discern the impulse of which I speak."

In conclusion, the technological singularity symbolizes the deep religious desires of self-perfecting transcendence and self-redemption, thus are incarnations,

“ ...of the ancient, deeply religious endeavor “to become like God” – infinitely wise, omnipotent, autonomous, and immortal." ( The Forge and the Crucible: The Origins and  Structures of Alchemy,  Dr. Erdmann)

Serpent Power in Ancient and Modern Expressions

In "Why Some Scientists Embrace the 'Multiverse," Dennis Prager reports that he recently participated, along with 30 scholars, mostly scientists and mathematicians, in a conference on the question of whether the universe was designed, or at least fine-tuned, to make life, especially intelligent life. Participants — from Yale, Princeton, Harvard, Berkeley and Columbia among other American and European universities — included believers in G0D, agonistics and atheists. (Prager, Jewish World Review, June 18, 2013)

It was clear, said Prager, that the scientific consensus was that, at the very least, the universe is exquisitely fine-tuned to allow for the possibility of life:

"It appears that we live in a "Goldilocks Universe," in which both the arrangement of matter at the cosmic beginning and the values of various physical parameters — such as the speed of light, the strength of gravitational attraction and the expansion rate of the universe - are just right. And unless one is frightened of the term, it also appears the universe is  designed  for biogenesis and human life." (ibid)

But many atheist scientists and fellow-travelers who insist there be no Creator God put forward the notion of a multiverse despite there being not a shred of evidence for the existence of these universes.

The multiverse hypothesis is a desperate grasp at the fantasy theory first proposed by David Deutsch in his book, "The Fabric of Reality."  Deutsch's theory postulates the existence of an infinite number of parallel universes in the vain hope that in at least one of them, conscious life and order arose by pure chance.

Oxford professor Richard Swinburne responded that Deutsch's hypothesis was madness:

"To postulate a trillion-trillion-trillion other universes, rather than one God, in order to explain the orderliness of our universe, seems the height of irrationality." (Cosmos, Creator and Human Destiny, Dave Hunt, p. 209)

Eminent quantum theorist John Polkinghorne utterly rejects the multiverse nonsense:

"Let us recognize these speculations for what they are.  They are not physics, but....metaphysics.  There is no purely scientific reason to believe in an ensemble of universes....To my mind greater economy and elegance would be that this one world is the way it is because it is the creation of the will of a Creator who purposes that it should be so." (ibid)

Multiverse speculations, as Polkinghorne pointed out, are not physics but metaphysics, and in fact are based in ancient esoteric doctrines (i.e., monism, or one ultimate substance), have not gone away but have rather grown both in popularity and in madness.  For example, Royal Astronomer Lord Martin Rees's argues that if a multitude of universes exist then some of them are likely to allow the evolution of conscious life-forms far more advanced than our own.  And if this is the case, then super-intelligent alien beings might be capable of simulating in their brains or in a super-computer the complex history of our universe, meaning that the universe we inhabit is a simulation lacking real substance and existing only as a mental construction in the minds of our super-intelligent creators, the highly evolved aliens who seeded our world with life and travel through time in order to control time and our evolutionary progress. (Scientific Mythologies, James A. Herrick, p. 216)

Rees claim that the universe we inhabit exists only as a mental construction is very similar to Hinduism's Brahman. Brahman is the Great Cosmic Spirit---the Ultimate One Substance or Essence of material phenomena, meaning that the universe exists only as a mental construction in the mind of Brahman: brahma satyam jagan mithya, or "Brahman is real, the world is unreal." (swamij.com/mahavakyas)

Rees proposal is also very similar to the hypothesis presented by Olaf Stapledon, a scientist who has always kept one foot firmly planted in Gnosticized science fiction accounts.  Stapledon imagines our universe to be an artifact of the Star Maker.  Building off of Stapledon's fantasy Carl Sagan suggests that we are "star folk" made of "star stuff."    (Herrick, pp. 216-217)

Replace Star Maker with Brahman and "star stuff" with sarvam khalvidam brahma, or "All is truly Brahman" (swamij.com) and we have ayam atma brahmam, "The Self is Brahman." ( (Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 4.4.5)

Ree's reveals the ancient esoteric basis of his propositions in the caption of his book, 'Just Six Numbers.  The caption reads:

"The ouraboros. There are links between the microworld of particles, nuclei and atoms [left] and the cosmos[right]." (Rees M., Just Six Numbers, P. 9)

In the text Rees writes,

"Symbolized 'gastronomically' at the top, is the ultimate synthesis that still eludes us-between the cosmos and the quantum." (p. 8)

"Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field…" — Genesis 3:1

The Ouroboros or Uroboros is an occult symbol that means the power, creative and/or evolutionary impulse or energy of the serpent figuratively depicted as a serpent or dragon eating its own tail.  The serpent's body is often depicted as the Great Chain of Being, Cosmic Tree, or with Darwin, the Tree of Life.

The occult Tree of Life with its' multiple dimensions and life-giving energy systems not only powers the universe but reaches into the psyche, stirring imagination, bringing psychic powers and even awakening pre-human memories of when the scientifically "enlightened elites" were fish:

"Remember when you were a fish...." suggested Jean Houston, the prophet of the possible, in a workshop to awaken ancient pre-human memories.   Nearly a thousand people dropped to the floor and began moving their 'fins' as if to propel themselves through water.  "Notice your perception as you roll like a fish. How does your world look, feel, sound, smell, taste?"  Then you came up on land, said Houston, so now you must, "Allow yourself to fully remember being a reptile....Then some of you flew. Others climbed trees."   A zoo of sounds erupted from the herd of pre-human birds, reptiles and apes. (America: The Sorcerer's New Apprentice, Hunt and McMahon, p. 218)

From the time of the ancients serpent power has been important in religious and mythological symbolism all around the world. Within the Egyptian mysteries, the serpent was associated with,

..."the elemental forces that were in play before the creation of the world." (Teichrib, Gods of Ancient  Egypt, p. 182)

In China serpents were spiritually linked with earth and water while in Scandinavian myth a world serpent protected man from cosmic forces of chaos.  The self-described Gnostic Carl Jung interpreted the Ouroboros as having an archetypal significance to the human psyche.    Serpent power is also associated with today's occult New Age spirituality as well as Gnosticism, Hermeticism, Freemasonry and its' blatantly occult Luciferian sister Theosophy, where serpent power represents "self-generation and evolution through its own creative power."

In his book, "The Sign of the Serpent," Mark Balfour relates how pervasive serpent symbols are within India and the Hindu religion:

"Any observant traveler who moves from the snow-tipped Himalayas in the North to the sun-soaked sands of Cape Comorin at India’s southern tip, will encounter—particularly in the rural areas and at sacred centres of pilgrimage wherever Siva, God of both Divine Wisdom and regeneration, is the presiding Deity—the serpent motif sculptured within shrines, impressed on myriads of stone implants in the ground and depicted in art." (A Short Guide to Occult Symbols: Serpent Power, Carl Teichrib, 2005, Kjos Ministries)

Balfour elaborates on this Hindu belief:

"In Hinduism, the Cosmic Serpent—Ananta Sesha—symbolic of timeless eternity, carries the world on his 1000-fold [Cobra] hood…As the creative impulse stirs within the great Serpent in the Sky—when passive idea becomes active thought—the forces of attraction and repulsion come into play as ‘spirit’ begins its involution into "matter." (ibid, Teichrib)

Moreover, Kundalini yoga, a discipline within Hinduism, teaches that vast amounts of latent serpent energy lies at the base of the human spine, "like a coiled serpent, ready to spring." (Harper's Dictionary of Hinduism, p. 156, ibid, Teichrib)

Through strenuous yoga techniques, this serpent power uncoils and rises through seven "chakras" or power centers within the human body. The serpent force is considered to be a,

".....concentrated field of intelligent cosmic, invisible energy absolutely vital to life beginning in the base of the spine as a man or a woman begins to evolve in their first incarnation." (The Donning International Encyclopedic Psychic Dictionary, p. 343, ibid, Teichrib)

The ancient occult concept of serpent power symbolized today by the theory of evolution, Darwin's Tree of Life, pre-existent or spontaneously generated matter and multiverse hypothesis has swept the post-Christian West and America, even entering into the whole body of the Church.

The prophet Daniel makes mention of the God of "forces" in connection with the Antichrist. (Dan. 11:38)

Today this 'God' has mesmerized vast numbers of Westerners and Americans, secular and  Christian alike.

As the 'Christ' of the hugely popular "A Course in Miracles" the God of forces states that there is an "irresistible Force" within each person while New Age leader Marianne Williamson explains that this "universal force" can be activated within each person and has the "power to make all things right."   The 'Christ' tells New Age leader Barbara Marx Hubbard that on the day of Planetary Pentecost a Planetary Smile will flash across the faces of all people who have accepted the Luciferian Initiation.  There will be "uncontrollable joy" that the 'Christ' describes as the "joy of Force" that will "ripple" through the one body of humanity.

The God of forces who is the serpent power worshipped by mankind from antiquity, the Ouroboros, the Cosmic Tree and Ultimate Spirit of the universe representing "self-generation and evolution through its own creative power" asks his modern worshippers,

"What if I am not a 'man' at all, but rather a Force, an 'Energy" in the universe, that IS the universe, and that is, in fact, All That Is. What if I am The Collective?" ("God" in Conversations with God: Book 3, p. 125, Neale Donald Walsh, from "False Christ Coming: Does Anybody Care? Warren B. Smith, p. 122)

Tragically, many people today are looking with favor on the God of forces rather than our Savior Jesus Christ:

"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6).
