Revelation 12: The Beast from the Sea

On July 24, 2009 Pope Benedict XVI delivered a homily in northern Italy’s Cathedral of Aosta before Vespers.  Toward the end of his homily he praised the French Jesuit Pierre Teilhard de Chardin as a model for priests, attributing to him the idea of a cosmic liturgy, which he said was something they should aim to achieve:

So our address to God becomes an address to ourselves:  God invites us to join with him, to leave behind the ocean of evil,  hatred, violence and selfishness and to make ourselves known, to enter into the river of his love….”Let Your Church offer herself to You as a living and holy sacrifice.  This request, addressed to God, is made also to ourselves. It is a reference to two passages from the Letter to the Romans. We ourselves, with our whole being, must be adoration and sacrifice and, by transforming our world, give it back to God.” (Benedict XVI Praises Cosmic Liturgy of Teilhard de Chardin; traditioninaction.org)

From North and South America to Eastern and Western Europe and the farthest reaches of the globe, fear, hate, and tension are building under powerful currents of change.  Foundations are rapidly crumbling and disintegrating as a New World Order strives to come up out of the seas under the guiding hands of global occult elite rulersand unseen spiritual forces of evil. (More Than Conquerors, William Hendrickson, p. 30)

An important architect of the NWO is Teilhard de Chardin (1881-1955), a heretic,  evolutionary scientist, New Age Hindu-style occult pantheist and Hermetic and alchemical magician who sought fusion of opposites-- of Jesus Christ with Lapis Philosophorum (enlightenment, elixir of life, the Omega Point),  man with woman (androgyne/transgender) and transgender with Omega point, the very substance of God.

Western esotericism, or occultism, is the search for and study of an unseen reality.  It is secret knowledge of the hidden.   This hidden or arcane knowledge is meant only for certain people, adepts and sages such as Teilhard de Chardin and like-minded esotericists.

Occult practices include but are not limited to Hermetic magic, alchemy, astrology, divination, and spiritualism (contact with spirits).  Interpretation of occultism and its concepts can be found in nature philosophies, occult sciences (evolutionary biology) and occult systems such asancient Egyptian Hermeticism, Gnosticism, Theosophy, Wicca, Satanism, Thelema and neo-paganism.

A general definition is offered by Nicholas Goodrick-Clarke:

"Occultism has its basis in a religious way of thinking, the roots of which stretch back into antiquity and which may be described as the Western esoteric tradition. Its principal ingredients have been identified as Gnosticism, the Hermetic treatises on alchemy and magic, Neo-Platonism, and the Kabbalah, all originating in the eastern Mediterranean area during the first few centuries AD." (The Occult Roots of Nazism, Good-Rick-Clarke, p. 17)

Under cover of 'science,' evolutionary biology is actually hidden knowledge (gnosis) based in a philosophy of naturalism and magic.  When asked why the layman should be interested  ”in so esoteric a subject as evolutionary biology,” one of the leading evolutionists of our day, Professor S.J. Gould responded:

“Because it tells us where we came from, how we got here, and perhaps where we are going. Quite simply, it is science’s version of Roots, except it is the story of us all.”   (The Religious Nature of Evolution Theory and its Attack on Christianity, John G. Leslie and Charles K. Pallaghy, Ph.D, creation.com)

Evolutionary biology is an anti-creation account positing an alchemical vision holding that billions of years ago chemicals magically birthed from nothing by a Big Bang combined and transcended themselves after a hundred or a thousand identical operations thereby allowing the miraculous transmutation of chemicals into life.   Once life miraculously emerged, hidden natural processes were set in motion that after passage of vast ages supposedly eventuated in the arrival of man:

If man has arrived at his present state as a result of natural processes rather than a supernatural will, he can learn to control these processes…The concept of evolution, which is now basic to the life sciences, has provided new and in some ways revolutionary answers to questions men have been asking for centuries. The two most important of these are, ‘Why am I here, what is the purpose of human existence, and what is the nature of the world of life that surrounds us?”   (Dobzhansky, T., Ayala, F.J., Stebbins, G.L. and Valentine, J.W., Evolution, W.H. Freeman and Co., San Francisco, 1977)

Teilhard’s quest was not the mere control of hidden processes however, but the ages-old alchemist’s dream of perfecting the material world or cosmos thereby transmuting (deifying) himself  by way of his own fusion with the Divine Energy variously known throughout the ancient and modern world as divine Mens, Brahman, Watery Abyss, Void, and Quantum Void,

“…the fixed center from which all material energies emanate.” (The Meaning of the Magicians, Louis Pauwels and Jacques Bergier, p. 118)

Pauwels and Bergier’s book heralded a new dawning of an age of alchemy.  Like Carl Jung and Teilhard they understood the religious impulse of alchemy:

For the alchemist, it must never be forgotten that power over matter and energy is only a secondary reality.  The real aim of the alchemist’s activities, which are perhaps the remains of a very old science belonging to a civilization long extinct, is the transformation of the alchemist himself, his accession to a higher state of consciousness…Everything is oriented towards the transmutation of man…his deification, his fusion with the divine energy…(and) as Teilhard put it: ‘The real aim of physics should be to integrate Man as a totality in a coherent representation of the world.” (ibid)

Alchemy is above all the ancient occult science of secret initiates from the time of Babylon--- the gnostic magicians who soughtesoteric knowledge (the Philosopher’s Stone) in their quest to perform the great work. Mircea Eliade explains:

The aim of the opus magnum (great work) was at once the freeing of the human soul and the healing of the cosmos….In the eyes of the alchemists, observes Jung, Christianity saved man but not nature.  It is the alchemist’s dream to heal the world in its totality; the Philosopher’s Stone is conceived as the Filius Macrcosmoi who heals the world…The ultimate goal of the opus is Cosmic Salvation; for this reason, the Lapis Philosophorum is identified with Christ.” (The Forge and the Crucible: The Origin and Structure of Alchemy, 1956, p. 225)

In pursuit of his Great Work, Teilhard invented a New Religion:

As you already know, what dominates my interest and my preoccupations is the effort to establish in myself and to spread around a new religion (you may call it a better Christianity) in which the personal God ceases to be the great Neolithic proprietor of former times, in order to become the soul of the world; our religious and cultural stage calls for this.” (Lettres a Leontine Zanta, quoted by von Hildebrand in Trojan Horse in the City of God, 1967, p. 239)

Teilhard willfully abandoned the ‘old’ form of Christian theism with its’ miraculous creation account ex nihilo, fall of Adam and Eve, Jesus Christ’s work on the cross, His bodily resurrection and ascension, and hope of eternal life in Paradise--positions he had nothing but contempt for-- in favor of modern scientific positions and self-deification,

“…all those goody-goody romances about the saints and the martyrs! Whatever normal child would want to spend eternity in such boring company?”  (Genesis, Creation, and Early Man, Fr. Seraphim Rose, p. 584)

We need a ‘new definition of holiness,’ said Teilhard, one that is predicated upon evolutionary change. Henceforth, all theories, hypotheses, systems and Christianity itself must bow before seething evolutionary energies if they are to be thinkable and true:

The modern world is a world in evolution; hence the static concepts of the spiritual life must be rethought and the classical teachings of Christ must be reinterpreted.” (ibid)

Toward his goal of Cosmic Salvation Teilhard subsumed the Triune God into His own creation and secularized and pantheitized Christian theism to become the prophet of alchemy who has discovered that through fusion of universal evolutionism and the Genesis account of creation  the cosmos becomes divine.   In this way the magician promises to fulfill the ancient quest: the aim of the opus magnum.  With this sorcerer's power, said Teilhard:

“…I can increase the density of the divine atmosphere…that atmosphere in which it is always my one desire to be immersed….” (ibid)

Now that the cosmos is God, and the cosmos is evolving, then God too is in process of evolving, therefore,

“…the World…endomorphizes God, and that God….transforms himself as He incorporates us…All around us and within our own selves, God is in the process of changing….”   (The Heart of the Matter, de Chardin, pp. 52-53)

Rejecting the ‘the earlier conception that God could create instantaneously,’ the magician teaches instead that God is both the Evolver and the object of evolution and,

“…cannot create except evolutively.” (Christianity and Evolution, de Chardin, p. 179)

In opposition to the traditional Christian belief in an omnipotent, omniscient, living, personal God Who called everything into existence in six days, Teilhard defines God as an impersonal ”it” and writes:

“…God’s power has not so free a field for its action as we assume; on the contrary…it labors to produce…it is always obliged, in the course of its creative effort, to pass through a whole series of intermediaries and to overcome a whole succession of inevitable risks…” (ibid, p.31)

Toward the evolution of deified human consciousness, the impersonal “it’ has evolved through three stages:

1.   Cosmogenesis (Big Bang): the explosive birth of energy-then-matter from nothingness

2.  Biogenesis: alchemical transmutation of life from chemicals eventually followed by living forms

3.  Noogenesis: the evolution of human consciousness which heralds the emergence of  ”cosmogenesis-God,” the impersonal “it” that replaces,

“…the Father-God of two thousand years ago..” (ibid, p. 202)

Christians should not fear the process of evolution said Teilhard, because it fuses them with the substance of God:

Though frightened for a moment by evolution, the Christian now perceives that what it offers him is a magnificent means of feeling more at one with God. In (the old, traditional form of Christianity), the universal domination of Christ could…still be regarded as an extrinsic and superimposed power. In a spiritually converging world, this ‘Christic’ energy acquires an urgency and intensity of another order altogether.” (Seraphim Rose, p. 590, emphasis added)

Teilhard saw in communism the germ of a totalist (fused) world order:

Teilhard….admired any form of totalitarianism simply because it seemed to prove his theory of convergence, whether it was Hitler or Stalin or the early Mao Tse-Tung did not seem to worry him very much.” (Zen, Drugs, and Mysticism, R.C. Zaehner, p. 181)

As a son of the Roman Catholic church, Teilhard describes the fusion or convergence of God with both cosmos and man as “transubstantiation” of the earth,

As our humanity assimilates the material world, as the Host (i.e., Roman Catholic eucharist) assimilates our humanity, the eucharistic transformation goes beyond and completes the transubstantiation of the bread on the altar.  Step by step it irresistibly invades the universe…The sacramental Species are formed by the totality of the world, and the duration of the creation is the time needed for its consecration.” (Genesis, Creation, and Early Man, Fr. Seraphim Rose, p. 587)

According to Teilhard, transubstantiation of the earth is the great event which we are awaiting, the act of adoration in which we are allied and mutually exalted in the passionate desire to conquer the World (God) and fuse ourselves with Him, the vital act,

“…corresponding to a new age of Earth.” (ibid, p. 590)

Teilhard is almost without question the spiritual father of the rising tide of occult spiritual and political globalism and fusion of male with female (1) and man with God now taking the West and America by storm and issuing in an unprecedented demonic outpouring. (2)

Teilhard formulated the dominant conceptual framework for a planetary occult pagan and pantheist religion and spiritually totalitarian social order.   Describing himself as a mystic and an evolutionary scientist, Teilhard taught that the spiritual, religious and political unification of the earth was the next great evolutionary leap to come and that this fusion was as necessary for the survival of mankind as is the fusion of polar opposites (i.e., good with evil, light with dark, male with female) and the transformation and integration of the Hindu god Shiva (The Destroyer) by Christ:

It is not enough to refuse or ridicule Shiva: for he exists.  What is necessary, is to Christify him.  Christwould not be complete if he did not integrate Shiva (as a component), whilst transforming him.” (Towards a New Mysticism: Teilhard de Chardin and Eastern Religions, Ursula King)

Whether it is called Transubstantiation of the earth, Cosmic Liturgy or the Planetary Mass, the  fusion of God with the cosmos and man is being celebrated here in America at New York City’s Cathedral of Saint John the Divine and at San Francisco’s Grace Cathedral.  In his book, “One World,” Tal Brooke, President of the Spiritual Counterfeits Project writes,

“..the high priestly celebrant and innovator of the Planetary Mass was Matthew Fox, the renegade New Age Catholic priest….Now it was time for main line Protestantism, open-minded and liberal, to welcome the heretical Catholic priest into its ranks…” (p. 185)

These two Cathedrals are preparing the way for the Cosmic Millennium:

"Once again, but this time on a universal scale, humankind is seeking no less than its reunion with the "divine," its transcendence into ever higher forms of life. Hindus call our earth Brahma, or God, for they rightly see no difference between our earth and the divine. This ancient simple truth is slowly dawning again upon humanity. Its full flowering be the real, great new story of humanity as we are about to enter our cosmic age...."  (Robert Muller (1923-2010), former Assistant Secretary General of the United Nations, architect of World Core Curriculum, hailed as the U.N.s Prophet of Hope, in "Shaping a Global Spirituality, p. 49)

The two cathedrals are the gateways through which all of the world’s religions, philosophies, secular and paganized 'Christian' religions converge into a new Mystery Babylon, the Western gesture,

“…towards syncretism—spiritual disarmament—involving abandonment of history, tradition, and religious sovereignty.” (p. 187)

The mystery religion of Babylon is the root of all mystery religions promising the keys to immortality and divinity.   Babylon embraced the Great Lie.  Like all Western impenitent sinners eagerly awaiting the Cosmic Millennial, Babylon's idolaters claimed the title of "I AM" and identified self with God. (Isaiah 45, 47)

Revelation reports that at some point the whole world becomes drunk on the Cosmic Liturgy of modern Mystery Babylon.  All self-worshippers are invited to partake of the Cosmic Liturgy except for backwards, unscientific, anti-evolution 'fundamentalists,' the thoroughly despised faithful Christians and Jews who refuse to converge with cosmogenesis-god.   These despicable ones are incapable of fusion and are being sorted out even now because only the good evolve:

“.....'good’ meaning that which is capable of aligning with the whole emerging systems…A Quantum transformation is the time of selection of what evolves from what devolves….We are now in a sorting-out phase.  Those who elect to transform are now being magnetized by their attraction to the next phase.  Those who do not elect to transform are being turned off by their repulsion to the next phase.  By attraction and repulsion the selection is being made.”   (New Age globalist Barbara Marx Hubbard, ibid, p. 197)

Hubbard is deeply deluded, for the end of the beast and all who elect to transform is to be taken and cast into a lake of fire and the smoke of their torment will ascend up for ever and ever.

Creation Ex Nihilo vs Evolutionary Naturalism: The Single Most Critical Conflict Today

In June 2005 the prestigious World Summit on Evolution was held on the remote island of San Cristobal in the Galapagos Islands off the coast of Ecuador.  The location was chosen because it was the spot where Charles Darwin docked in 1835 to probe the ultimate question—the origin and nature of life.

The Galapagos summit was hailed as the Woodstock of Evolution, and attending scientists celebrated as a literal “Who’s Who of evolutionary theory.”

A key figure at the conference was the world famous philosopher of mind, Daniel Dennett.  Dennett is the favorite of all new pagan and mystical pantheist trans-humanists. They believe that computers can not only simulate human mental processes but will eventually evolve the conscious awareness known today as artificial intelligence

Strangely, for a philosopher of mind Dennett seeks to convince the world that there really isn’t any such thing as a mind in the traditional Biblical sense. In the Biblical sense, the material brain is an awesomely designed computer by which spirit, the citadel of man’s soul, interfaces with the world of matter, time, and space. Like dreaming however, thinking does not take place within the material brain but within the unseen dimension of spirit.

As a neo-pagan evolutionary materialist (pagan animist), Dennett enthusiastically embraces Darwin’s evolutionary theory because evolution—-an unseen creative energy that acts upon matter—- supposedly provides a ‘scientific’ explanation for the emergence of life from non-life bearing chemicals, thereby supposedly negating the necessity of the living, supernatural Tri-Personal God.   Hence Dennett’s delusional insistence that there is no soul/spirit (mind, will) associated with the human brain or any supernatural God or life after death.   Thus the central concern of Dennett’s career has been to explain how,

“….meaning, function and purpose can come to exist in a world that is intrinsically meaningless and functionless.” (The Spiritual Brain, Beauregard & O’Leary, p. 2)

Dennett’s pagan materialist assumptions are in keeping with Darwin’s conceptions.  In thoroughly researching Darwin’s notebooks atheist evolutionists Stephen Jay Gould and Ernst Mayer have shown that Darwin identified himself as a philosophical materialist several months before he developed the idea of natural selection, a type of predestination.

Contemporary evolutionary materialism is a revamped version of ancient Egyptian materialism and the Atomism taught by ancient Greek nature philosophers such as Epicurus.  Epicurus held that all that exists are atoms (matter) bumping together in a void.  There is no God or gods; no origin for life and conscious life, thus no soul/spirit, and no life after death.  Just atoms, the void and annihilation.   This means that man is less than nothing.

Neo-pagan evolutionary materialism (naturalism) began ascending to its’ current dominant philosophical and scientific position as far back as the 17th century.   The conflict between the Genesis account of creation ex nihilo and the naturalistic account is an ancient and critically important conflict, one fought with asperity in the 17th century between such men as Donne and Milton on one side and Bacon and the Royal Society on the other.   In the 18th century men such as Swift, Pope and Johnson opposed the neo-pagan naturalism of Hume, Bentham and French philosophers.  By the 19th century it was being fought over the whole of Western culture with creation ministries and men such as Richard John Neuhaus, Seraphim Rose, Peter Jones,  Albert Mohler, Creation Ministries International and a host of other supernatural creationists staunchly opposing all neo-pagan naturalism (materialist and pantheist) as represented by, for example,  Darwin, Dennett, Edward O. Wilson, Steven Pinker, Tom Wolfe, Teilhard de Chardin, Michael Dowd, Rob Bell, and Tim Keller.

Why is this conflict so important?  Among crucial issues is the answer to the question, ‘what is man?’   The answers provided by naturalism are entirely opposed to the answer provided by the Genesis account:

“As part of our commitment to building a just and loving society, we must build a culture that cherishes the dignity and sanctity of innocent human life,” Trump continued. “All children, born and unborn, are made in the holy image of God. Every life is sacred, and every soul is a precious gift from heaven. As the Lord says in Jeremiah, ‘Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I set you apart.’” (Trump Says ‘Every Soul Is A Precious Gift From Heaven,’ Cites Scripture At Prayer Breakfast, Calvin Freiburge, Life Site News, Feb. 7, 2019)

The Genesis account of creation ex nihilo reveals that man is a person because created in the spiritual image of the One God in three Persons.  Man was created directly by the Creator God of Gen. 1 identified by the Apostle John as the Son of God (John 1:1), thus the with a superhuman intelligence and original nature from which Adam, hence all of us,  fell away and to which we are called back.

Vishal Mangalwadi, India's foremost Christian scholar observes that the unique concept of man as God's spiritual image-bearer gave birth to the "belief in the unique dignity of human beings," and this is,

"...the force that created Western civilization, where citizens do not exist for the state but the state exists for the individuals. Even kings, presidents, prime ministers, and army generals cannot be allowed to trample upon an individual and his or her rights." (Truth and Transformation: A Manifesto for Ailing Nations, pp. 12-13)

In affirmation, the brilliant French economist, statesman and author Frederic Bastiat writes of the gifts from God which includes the physical, intellectual and moral life:

"He has provided us with a collection of marvelous faculties. And He has put us in the midst of a variety of natural resources. By application of our faculties to these natural resources we convert them into products, and use them. Life, faculties, production — in other words, individuality, liberty, property — this is man (and) these three gifts from God precede all human legislation, and are superior to it. Life, liberty, and property do not exist because men have made laws. On the contrary, it was the fact that life, liberty, and property existed beforehand that caused men to make laws in the first place." (How Evil Works, David Kupelian, p. 8)

John 1:3 identifies our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ , the second Person of the Holy Trinity as the Creator:

All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” “He was in the world, and the world was made by him” (v. 10). “The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us” (v. 14).

Jesus Christ is the Creator.  Foremost of His miracles is creation out of nothing—six instantaneous acts or days of creation rather than the billions of years of evolutionary process as the wisdom of fallen man holds.

On the miraculous creation of the first man Church Father John Chrysostom writes:

“And God formed man of dust from the earth, and breathed into his face the breath of life, and man became a living soul….the inbreathing communicated to the one created out of earth the power of life, and thus the nature of the soul was formed.  What does a living soul mean?  An active soul, which has the members of the body as the implements of its activities, submissive to its will.” (Genesis, Creation, and Early Man, Seraphim Rose, p.215)

Gregory of Nyssa adds:

The body and the soul were formed at the same time—not one before and the other afterwards…” (ibid, p. 218

Early Church Fathers make the point that the whole of creation---angels, time, matter, fire, wind, water, herbs, trees, all life and conscious life---was brought into existence from non-existence (ex nihilo), not from anything already in existence or from the Essence or Nature of God.  Therefore creation does not have the same essence as God and is not a part of God as most ancient and modern pagans believe.

Lest we be led away into the false opinion that the soul itself is Divine, or a part of God’s essence as pantheists and Gnostic’s teach, Chrysostom writes:

“Certain senseless ones, being drawn away by their own conceptions, without thinking of anything in a God-befitting manner…dare to say that the soul has proceeded from the Essence of God. O frenzy! O folly! How many paths of perdition has the devil opened up for those who will serve him!” (ibid, Rose,  p. 216)

Neo-pagan naturalist myths like Darwin's materialist idea and Telhard de Chardin's Vedanta monist conception reject the Genesis account ex nihilo together with Original Sin and the fall and teach instead an inverted exegesis positing that man comes up from chemicals and lower creatures.  This upside-down view leads to a philosophy of relativism (subjectivism) because if men were once something else, a genderless blob of matter and then later on lizards and even later still some kind of ape-like creature, then not only are we going to become something else–maybe a divine superman, god-man, or super robot—-but nothing can be said about LGBTQ+ and the contemporary menu of 15 genders since all life forms ascended from a genderless blob of matter that spontaneously generated itself from nothing.

With regard to soul/spirit, if man evolved from non-living, genderless matter or energy and lower life-forms, then his rational nature, his soul, differs not qualitatively but only quantitatively from the beasts.  Like beasts, man is not a person but a creature of the earth.  Like them he has no spirit—free will, higher mental faculties, and conscience.  He is a fleshy robot or hominid whose brain is organized by the genome and the genome shaped by natural selection.

Worse, as all pagan and pantheist conceptions are equally God-less, hence lifeless and mindless, none have an ultimate source for life, consciousness, soul, and personhood, thus all are merely different expressions of anti-human nihilism (meaninglessness) which makes man equal to or lower than the nonhuman, thereby allowing for all manner of crimes against humanity, especially the weakest, hated, envied, despised and inconvenient.  Here in paganized America tens of millions of unborn humans have been sadistically liquidated within abortuaries while  during the 20th century in excess of 160,000,000 unevolved human weeds, and useless eaters were brutally murdered in one way or another by two pagan and pantheist regimes: Marxist Communism and National Socialism.

Today, in the name of preventing climate change, ominous anti-human agendas are making astonishing inroads over and across America.

In "War On Humans," Wesley J. Smith reports that the "nature rights" movement seeks to grant flora and fauna,

"...the right to exist, persist, maintain and regenerate its vital cycles"—essentially a right to life that explicitly erases the moral distinction between humans and all other life forms. "  (tothesource, Feb. 27, 2014)

The putative rights of nature may also extend to inanimate matter:

"The Universal Declaration of the Rights of Mother Nature announces that the rights of nature are "inalienable . . . without distinction of any kind, such as may be made between organic and inorganic beings, origin, use to human beings, or any other state."

Nature has already been granted "rights" by Ecuador and Bolivia, as well as in some thirty U.S. municipalities,

"...including Santa Monica, California. Ban ki-Moon, the Secretary General of the United Nations has thrown his support behind the movement, and nature rights has been proposed for inclusion in an eventual UN treaty to fight climate change."

Though pagan naturalists prefer to keep it secret, they say in so many words that the depersonalized collective human organism will eventually evolve into some sort of cosmic Super Organism.  Underlying this idea is a quasi-Buddhist concept expressed in the idea that a universal human organism is reaching a magnificently evolved state of exaltation.

This view leads directly to religious ideas like those of Teilhard de Chardin who said that for Communism to succeed science must become spiritualized and the democrat, communist and fascist must unite.   These three currents must merge in order to promote the spiritual future of the World:

“The function of man is to build and direct the whole of the Earth…We shall end by perceiving that the great object unconsciously pursued by science is nothing else than the discovery of God.” (ibid, Rose, 591)

Chardin theorized that after millions of years of evolution a Christ consciousness was finally emerging out of matter causing the whole world and everything in it to become spiritualized and divinized.  Everything is becoming Christ, said Teilhard.

Seraphim Rose observes that Teilhard’s pantheism is a frightful heresy:

People will think they are gods while actually having this animalistic philosophy (which) is exactly what Antichrist needs in order to come to reign.” (ibid, p. 282)

In the final analysis, the conflict between supernatural creation ex nihilo and anti-human neo-pagan naturalism boils down to the answers to these questions: what or who are you and where you will spend eternity.

Falling Stars, Damnable Heresy, and the Spirit of Evolution

Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son” (1 John 2:22).

And the fifth angel sounded the trumpet, and I saw a star fall from heaven upon the earth, and there was given to him the key of the bottomless pit." (Rev. 9:1)

In his Concise Commentary Matthew Henry identifies falling stars as tepid, indecisive, weak or apostate clergy who,

"Having ceased to be a minister of Christ, he who is represented by this star becomes the minister of the devil; and lets loose the powers of hell against the churches of Christ."

John identifies antichrists, in this case clergy who serve the devil rather than Christ, sequentially.  First, like Bultmann, Teilhard de Chardin, Robert Funk, Paul Tillich, and John Shelby Spong, they specifically deny the living, personal Holy Trinity in favor of Gnostic pagan, immanent or Eastern pantheist conceptions.   Though God the Father Almighty in three Persons upholds the souls of men and maintains life and creation, His substance is not within nature (space-time dimension) as pantheism maintains, but outside of it.  Sinful men live within nature and are burdened by time and mortality; God is not.

Second, the specific denial of the Father logically negates Jesus the Christ, the Word who was in the beginning (John 1), was with God, and is God from the creation of all things (1 John 1).  In a pre-incarnate theophany, Jesus is the Angel who spoke “mouth to mouth” to Moses (Num. 12:6-9; John 9:20) and at sundry times and in many ways “spoke in times past to the fathers by the prophets, last of all…” (Hebrews 1:1)  Jesus the Christ is the incarnate Son of God who is the life and light of men, who by His shed blood on the Cross died for the remission of all sins and bestowed the privilege of adoption on all who put their faith in Him. Therefore, to deny the Holy Father is to logically deny the deity of Jesus Christ, the incarnate Son of God, hence,

“…every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist . . . and even now already is it in the world” (1 John 4:3).

According to Peter (2 Peter 2:1), falling stars will work among the faithful, teaching damnable heresies that deny the Lord, cause the fall of men into unbelief, and bring destruction upon themselves:

The natural parents of modern unbelief turn out to have been the guardians of belief.”  Many thinking people came at last “to realize that it was religion, not science or social change that gave birth to unbelief.  Having made God more and more like man---intellectually, morally, emotionally---the shapers of religion made it feasible to abandon God, to believe simply in man.” (James Turner of the University of Michigan in “American Babylon,” Richard John Neuhaus, p. 95)

Falling Stars and Damnable Heresy

Almost thirty years ago, two well-respected social science scholars, William Sims Bainbridge and Rodney Stark found themselves alarmed by what they saw as a rising tide of irrationalism, superstition and occultism---channeling cults, spirit familiars, necromancers, Wiccans, Satanists, Luciferians, goddess worshippers, 'gay' shamans, Hermetic magicians and other occult madness at every level of society, particularly within the most influential--- Hollywood, academia and the highest corridors of political power.

Like many scientists, they were equally concerned by Christian opposition to naturalistic evolution.  As is common in the science community, they assumed the cause of these social pathologies was somehow due to fundamentalism, their term for authentic Christian theism as opposed to liberalized Christianity.  Yet to their credit, the research they undertook to discover the cause was conducted both scientifically and with great integrity.  What they found was so startling it caused them to re-evaluate their attitude toward authentic Christian theism.  Their findings led them to say:

"It would be a mistake to conclude that fundamentalists oppose all science (when in reality they but oppose) a single theory (that) directly contradicts the bible. But it would be an equally great mistake to conclude that religious liberals and the irreligious possess superior minds of great rationality, to see them as modern personalities who have no need of the supernatural or any propensity to believe unscientific superstitions. On the contrary...they are much more likely to accept the new superstitions. It is the fundamentalists who appear most virtuous according to scientific standards when we examine the cults and pseudo-sciences proliferating in our society today." ("Superstitions, Old and New," The Skeptical Inquirer, Vol. IV, No. 4; summer, 1980)

In more detail they observed that authentic ‘born again’ Christians are far less likely to accept cults and pseudoscientific beliefs while the irreligious and liberalized Christians (i.e., progressive Catholics, Protestant emergent, NAR, word faith, prosperity gospel) are open to unscientific notions.  In fact, these two groups are most disposed toward occultism.

As Bainbridge and Stark admitted, evolution directly contradicts the Bible, beginning with the Genesis account of creation ex nihilo.  This means that evolution is the antithesis of the Genesis account. For this reason, discerning Christians refuse to submit to the evolutionary thinking that has swept Western and American society.  Nor do they accept the evolutionary theism brought into the whole body of the Church by weak, tepid, indecisive, or apostate clergy.

Over eighty years ago, Rev. C. Leopold Clarke wrote that priests who embrace evolution (evolutionary theists) are apostates from the ‘Truth as it is in Jesus.’ (1 John2:2)  Rev. Clarke, a lecturer at a London Bible college, discerned that evolution is the antithesis to the Revelation of God in the Deity of Jesus Christ, thus it is the greatest and most active agent of moral and spiritual disintegration:

It is a battering-ram of unbelief---a sapping and mining operation that intends to blow Religion sky-high.  The one thing which the human mind demands in its conception of God, is that, being Almighty, He works sovereignly and miraculously---and this is the thing with which Evolution dispenses….Already a tremendous effect, on a wide scale has been produced by the impact of this teaching---an effect which can only be likened to the…collapse of foundations…” (Evolution and the Break-Up of Christendom, Philip Bell, creation.com, Nov. 27, 2012)

The faith of the Christian Church and of the average Christian has had, and still has, its foundation as much in the literal and historic meaning of Genesis, the book of beginnings revealed ‘mouth to mouth’ by the Angel to Moses, as in that of the person and deity of Jesus Christ.  But how horrible a travesty of the sacred office of the Christian Ministry to see church leaders more eager to be abreast of the times, than earnestly contending for the Faith once delivered unto the saints (Jude 1:3).  It is high time, said Rev. Clarke, that the Church,

“…. separated herself from the humiliating entanglement attending her desire to be thought up to date…What, after all, have custodians of Divine Revelation to do making terms with speculative Biology, which has….no message of comfort or help to the soul?” (ibid)

The primary tactic employed by priests eager to accommodate themselves and the Church to modern science and evolutionary thinking is predictable.  It is the argument that evolution is entirely compatible with the Bible when we see Genesis, especially the first three chapters, in a non-literal, non-historical context.  This is the argument embraced and advanced by mega-church pastor Timothy J. Keller.

With a position paper Keller published with the theistic evolutionary organization Bio Logos he joined the ranks of falling stars (Catholic and Protestant priests) stretching back to the Renaissance.  Their slippery-slide into apostasy began when they gave into the temptation to embrace a non-literal, non-historical view of Genesis.  (A response to Timothy Keller’s ‘Creation, Evolution and Christian Laypeople,” Lita Cosner, Sept. 9, 2010, creation.com)

This is not a heresy unique to modern times.  The early Church Fathers dealt with this damnable heresy as well, counting it among the heretical tendencies of the Origenists.  Fourth-century Fathers such as John Chrysostom, Basil the Great and Ephraim the Syrian, all of whom wrote commentaries on Genesis, specifically warned against treating Genesis as an unhistorical myth or allegory.  John Chrysostom strongly warned against paying heed to these heretics,

“…let us stop up our hearing against them, and let us believe the Divine Scripture, and following what is written in it, let us strive to preserve in our souls sound dogmas.” (Genesis, Creation, and Early Man, Fr. Seraphim Rose, p. 31)

As St. Cyril of Alexandria wrote, higher theological, spiritual meaning is founded upon humble, simple faith in the literal and historic meaning of Genesis and one cannot apprehend rightly the Scriptures without believing in the historical reality of the events and people they describe. (ibid, Seraphim Rose, p. 40)

In the integral worldview teachings of the Fathers, neither the literal nor historical meaning of the Revelations of the pre-incarnate Jesus, the Angel who spoke to Moses, can be regarded as expendable.  There are at least four critically important reasons why.  First, to reduce the Revelation of God to allegory and myth is to contradict and usurp the authority of God, ultimately deny the deity of Jesus Christ; twist, distort, add to and subtract from the entire Bible and finally, to imperil the salvation of believers.

Scenarios commonly proposed by modern Origenists posit a cleverly disguised pantheist/immanent nature deity subject to the space-time dimension and forces of evolution. But as noted previously, it is sinful man who carries the burden of time, not God.  This is a crucial point, for when evolutionary theists add millions and billions of zeros (time) to God they have transferred their own limitations onto Him.  They have ‘limited’ God and made Him over in their own image. This is not only idolatrous but satanic.

Additionally, evolution inverts creation.  In place of God’s good creation from which men fell there is an evolutionary escalator starting at the bottom with matter, then progressing upward toward life, then up and through the life and death of millions of evolved creatures that preceded humans by millions of years until at long last an apish humanoid emerges into which a deity that is always in a state of becoming (evolving) places a soul.

Evolution amputates the entire historical precedent from the Gospel and makes Jesus Christ unnecessary as the atheist Frank Zindler enthusiastically points out:

The most devastating thing that biology did to Christianity was the discovery of biological evolution.  Now that we know that Adam and Eve never were real people the central myth of Christianity is destroyed.  If there never was an Adam and Eve, there never was an original sin.  If there never was an original sin there is no need of salvation.  If there is no need of salvation there is no need of a saviour.  And I submit that puts Jesus…into the ranks of the unemployed.  I think evolution absolutely is the death knell of Christianity.” (“Atheism vs. Christianity,” 1996, Lita Cosner, creation.com, June 13, 2013)

None of this was lost on Darwin’s bulldog, Thomas Henry Huxley (1825-1985).  Huxley was thoroughly familiar with the Bible, thus he understood that if Genesis is not the authoritative Word of God, is not historical and literal despite its’ symbolic and poetic elements, then the entirety of Scripture becomes a collection of fairytales resulting in tragic downward spiraling consequences as the Catholic Kolbe Center for the Study of Creation makes clear in part:

By denying the historical truth of the first chapters of Genesis, theistic evolutionism has fostered a preoccupation with natural causes almost to the exclusion of supernatural ones.  By denying the several supernatural creative acts of God in Genesis, and by downplaying the importance of the supernatural activity of Satan, theistic evolutionists slip into a naturalistic mentality which seeks to explain everything in terms of natural causes.  Once this mentality takes hold, it is easy for men to regard the concept of spiritual warfare as a holdover from the days of primitive superstition.  Diabolical activity is reduced to material or psychological causes.  The devil and his demons come to be seen as irrelevant.  Soon ‘hell’ joins the devil and his demons in the category of antiquated concepts.  And the theistic evolutionist easily makes the fatal mistake of thinking that he has nothing more to fear from the devil and his angels.  According to Fr. Gabriele Amorth, the chief exorcist of Rome, there is a tremendous increase in diabolical activity and influence in the formerly Christian world.  And yet most of the bishops of Europe no longer believe in the existence of evil spirits….To the Fathers of the Church who believed in the truth of Genesis, this would be incredible.  But in view of the almost universal acceptance of theistic evolution, it is hardly surprising.” (The Difference it makes: The Importance of the Traditional Doctrine of Creation, Hugh Owen, kolbecenter.org)

Huxley had ‘zero’ respect for modern Origenists and received enormous pleasure from heaping piles of hot coals and burning contempt upon them, thereby exposing their shallow-reasoning, hypocrisy, timidity, fear of non-acceptance, and unfaithfulness.  With sarcasm dripping from his words he quipped,

I am fairly at a loss to comprehend how any one, for a moment, can doubt that Christian theology must stand or fall with the historical trustworthiness of the Jewish Scriptures. The very conception of the Messiah, or Christ, is inextricably interwoven with Jewish history; the identification of Jesus of Nazareth with that Messiah rests upon the interpretation of passages of the Hebrew Scriptures which have no evidential value unless they possess the historical character assigned to them. If the covenant with Abraham was not made; if circumcision and sacrifices were not ordained by Jahveh; if the “ten words” were not written by God’s hand on the stone tables; if Abraham is more or less a mythical hero, such as Theseus; the story of the Deluge a fiction; that of the Fall a legend; and that of the creation the dream of a seer; if all these definite and detailed narratives of apparently real events have no more value as history than have the stories of the regal period of Rome—what is to be said about the Messianic doctrine, which is so much less clearly enunciated? And what about the authority of the writers of the books of the New Testament, who, on this theory, have not merely accepted flimsy fictions for solid truths, but have built the very foundations of Christian dogma upon legendary quicksands?” (Darwin’s Bulldog---Thomas Huxley, Russell Grigg, creation.com, Oct. 14, 2008)

Pouring more contempt on them he asked,

When Jesus spoke, as of a matter of fact, that "the Flood came and destroyed them all," did he believe that the Deluge really took place, or not? It seems to me that, as the narrative mentions Noah’s wife, and his sons’ wives, there is good scriptural warranty for the statement that the antediluvians married and were given in marriage; and I should have thought that their eating and drinking might be assumed by the firmest believer in the literal truth of the story. Moreover, I venture to ask what sort of value, as an illustration of God’s methods of dealing with sin, has an account of an event that never happened? If no Flood swept the careless people away, how is the warning of more worth than the cry of “Wolf” when there is no wolf? If Jonah’s three days’ residence in the whale is not an “admitted reality,” how could it “warrant belief” in the “coming resurrection?” … Suppose that a Conservative orator warns his hearers to beware of great political and social changes, lest they end, as in France, in the domination of a Robespierre; what becomes, not only of his argument, but of his veracity, if he, personally, does not believe that Robespierre existed and did the deeds attributed to him?” (ibid)

 Concerning Matthew 19:5:

If divine authority is not here claimed for the twenty-fourth verse of the second chapter of Genesis, what is the value of language? And again, I ask, if one may play fast and loose with the story of the Fall as a “type” or “allegory,” what becomes of the foundation of Pauline theology?” (ibid)

 And concerning Cor. 15:21-22:

If Adam may be held to be no more real a personage than Prometheus, and if the story of the Fall is merely an instructive “type,” comparable to the profound Promethean mythus, what value has Paul’s dialectic?” (ibid)

After much thought, C.S. Lewis concluded that evolution is the central, most radical lie at the center of a vast network of lies within which modern Westerners are entangled while Rev. Clarke identifies the central lie as the Gospel of another Spirit. The fiendish aim of this Spirit is to help men lose God, not find Him, and by contradicting the Divine Redeemer, compromising Priests are serving this Spirit and its’ diabolical purposes.  To contradict the Divine Redeemer is the very essence of unfaithfulness, and that it should be done while reverence is professed,

“…. is an illustration of the intellectual and moral topsy-turvydom of Modernism…’He whom God hath sent speaketh the Words of God,’ claimed Christ of Himself (John 3:34), and no assumption of error can hold water in the face of that declaration, without blasphemy.”

Evolutionary theists are serving the devil, therefore “no considerations of Christian charity, of tolerance, of policy, can exonerate Christian leaders or Churches who fail to condemn and to sever themselves from compromising, cowardly, shilly-shallying priests”---the falling stars who “challenge the Divine Authority of Jesus Christ.” (ibid)

The rebuttals, warnings and counsels of the Fathers against listening to Origenists (and their modern evolutionary counterparts) indicates that the spirit of antichrist operating through modern rationalistic criticism of the Revelation of God is not a heresy unique to our times but was inveighed against by early Church Fathers.

From the scholarly writings of the Eastern Orthodox priest, Fr. Seraphim Rose, to the incisive  analysis, rebuttals and warnings of the Catholic Kolbe Center, creation.com, Creation Research Institute, Rev. Clarke, and many other stalwart defenders of the faith once delivered, all are a clear, compelling call to the whole body of the Church to hold fast to the traditional doctrine of creation as it was handed down from the Apostles, for as God spoke and Jesus is the Living Word incarnate, it is incumbent upon the faithful to submit their wills to the Divine Will and Authority of God rather than to the damnable heresy proffered by falling stars eager to embrace naturalistic science and the devil's antithesis--- evolution.  But if it seem evil to you to serve the Lord,

“…you have your choice: choose this day that which pleases you, whom you would rather serve….but as for me and my house we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15

Unconscious Satanism and the Infernal Outpouring

"I have said that the ultimate goal of spiritual growth is for the individual to become as one with God ... It is for the individual to become totally, wholly God….God wants us to become Himself (or Herself or Itself).”    (M. Scott Peck, “The Road Less Traveled”)

"Since the unconscious is God all along, we may further define the goal of spiritual growth to be the attainment of godhood by the conscious self."    (M. Scott Peck, “A Different Drum”)

In his chapter on Grace, Peck claims,

"All of us who postulate a loving God and really think about it eventually come to a single terrifying idea: God wants us to become Himself (Herself or Itself). We are growing toward godhood," (The Road Less Traveled, p. 269).

"God" from Peck's perspective is not the living, personal Holy God, but a christ consciousness or other variation of a creative energy such as Kundalini or Evolution, the primary creative energy of the World Spirit, Brahman, or Divine One Substance that either pre-exists everything or has come into being from the Big Bang.   In either scenario, all being is at bottom one, or monistic.

Hiding beneath Peck’s claim that “God” wants us to become Himself, Herself, or Itself is the ancient Egyptian Hermetic principle of the correlation of the Divine One Substance with the mind of man: “As above, so below

Hermes Trismegistus is the father of the magic tradition.  His world-famous magic formula demonstrates the consubstantiality (oneness) of Herme's divine mind with the Divine One Substance above.  In teaching the meaning of the formula to his son Tat he said:

"The intellect, O Tat, is drawn from the very substance of God.  In men, this intellect is God, and so some men are gods and their humanity is near to divinity...If man makes right use of (God's gifts), he differs in no way from the immortals."  (God and the Knowledge of Reality, Thomas Molnar, p. 78)

Hermes Trismegistus had a guru, a spirit director called Poimander who taught Hermes that,

"Unless you make yourself equal to God, you cannot understand God, for the like is not intelligible save to the like." (ibid, p. 79)

From the time of the ancients, men have employed a variety of occult psycho-technologies such as mind-altering substances, hypnosis, yogic trance, transcendental meditation, ecstatic dance, drumming, and more recently, rock music…especially in combination with drugs, the Silva Method and deep-breathing exercises in the quest to become “one” with the “God substance” above:

“... I can be saved only by becoming one with the universe. Thereby, too, my deepest 'pantheist' aspirations It was especially the image of God which Teilhard saw in need of urgent redefinition. Modern man has not yet found the God he can adore, a God commensurate to the newly discovered dimensions of the universe” (Ursala King, "Towards a New Mysticism- Teilhard de Chardin and eastern religions" p.172)

Our age of spreading apostasy is witnessing an explosive revival of this ancient occult phenomenon.  A major reason is that psychology allegedly provides us with a “scientific” explanation that ascribes whatever frightening entities are encountered while on drugs or through techniques such as taught in the Silva Method to archetypal images from the collective unconscious, a theory attributed to Carl Jung.

Jung's theory however, was precededby William James (1842-1910) theory of “religious experience.”  Referred to as the father of American psychology, James theorized that religious experience is a manifestation of the “subconscious,” the means by which man communicates with God “within.”

The theories of James are examples of unconscious Satanism as Rene Guenon (1886-1951), the great French traditionalist metaphysician explains in, “The Spiritist Fallacy,” a detailed expose of the Theosophy, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Spiritism overtaking the minds of modernist priests and intellectuals during Guenon’s lifetime.

Guenon describes sophisticated enlightened theologians and like-minded individuals as those who cannot speak of the devil,

“….without a smile of disdain, or an even more contemptuous shrug of the shoulders.” (p. 252)

Their contempt is due to the fact that scientifically enlightened priests and intellectuals bought into the lie that Lucifer is not the devil but rather the “light-bearer.” They even go so far as to call him ‘the Great Creative Intelligence.’  Thus they invoke Lucifer and perform his cult, but in fact these people,

“…though in fact Satanists, are only unconsciously so, for they are mistaken as to the nature of the entity to whom they address their worship….It goes without saying that these ‘enlightened’ priests are all plainly modernists and that the spirit animating them is strangely similar to that affirmed in these lines.” (p. 254)

Guenon defines as ‘unconscious Satanism’ every “modern” conception that notably disfigures the living God, and in this sense, all theories of an 'evolver' God posited by evolutionary theologians and of a God who evolves must be placed in the front rank.  Archbishop Fulton Sheen provides us with an example of one of the devil’s “modern” conceptions:

Modern philosophy has seen the birth of a new nation of God…It is God in evolution. God ‘is’ not.  He ‘becomes.’  In the beginning was not the Lord, but in the beginning was ‘Movement.’   From this movement God is born by successive creations.  As the world progresses, He progresses; as the world acquires perfection, He acquires perfection. (Moreover) man is a necessary step in the evolution of God. Just as man came from the beast, God will come from man…” (Great Catholic Books Newsletter; Volume II, Number 2, Fulton J. Sheen Issue)

Satanism, even when unconscious, is always characterized by a reversal of the normal order, and good and evil, and is the opposite of orthodox Christian doctrine.

In this sense, evolutionary conceptions are Satanic because they persuade people to believe that everything in nature is the fruit of a gradual upward progression from either pre-existing or self-generated matter rather than the fallen but nevertheless good creation of the living God Who spoke.

Because infernal evolutionary conceptions reverse the normal order, their sweeping acceptance means that it is now difficult if not impossible for Americans and Westerners to conceive of the Genesis account creation ex nihilo as traditional Christianity taught, because if “God” has evolved from man who has evolved from beasts then perfection obviously lies somewhere in the future rather than in the past from which mankind fell.  As well, if after a Big Bang a limited God used evolution over vast periods of time before the appearance of hominids then God is responsible for the suffering and death of the millions of lifeforms preceding the hominids, making God the father of evil.  In this demonically inverted 'theology'  the “way” to perfection proposed by the devil obviously lies with the occult science of Hermetic magic and psycho-technologies whereby man’s salvation is achieved by becoming “one” with the Divine Substance, Omega Point, Brahman, or Singularity.

It is here that Guenon turns his attention to the theories of William James, which he classifies as unconscious Satanism for two reasons.   First, James theory of “religious experience” as a manifestation of the “subconscious” by which man communicates with the Divine “within” is only one step away from “condoning the practices of spiritism” (contact with spirits) with the further consequence of conferring on evil spirits an “eminently religious character.”

This has come to pass.  As just one example out of literally hundreds, there is New Age theologian David Spangler speaking of Lucifer as an ‘eminently religious character,’ a savior-spirit he correlates with Christ:

“The true light of this great being can only be recognized when one's own eyes can see with the light of the Christ, the light of the inner sun. Lucifer works within each of us to bring us to wholeness, and as we move into the New Age, which is the age of man's wholeness, each of us is brought to that point which I term the Luciferic Initiation, the particular doorway through which the individual must pass if he is to come fully into the presence of his light and his wholeness.”

“Lucifer comes to give us the final gift of wholeness. If we accept it, then he is free and we are free, that is the Luciferic Initiation. It is one that many people now, and in the days ahead, will be facing, for it is an initiation into the New Age.” (David Spangler, Reflections on the Christ, Findhorn Lecture Series, 3rd ed., 1981; p. 45)

The second reason James theory qualifies as unconscious Satanism is the notion that the subconscious puts man in contact with the Divine Substance “within” which puts God in an inferior state of being:

This then is a properly ‘infernal’ doctrine, a reversal of universal order, which is precisely what we call ‘Satanism.’  Guenon adds, “The devil is not only terrible, he is often grotesque…” (pp. 258-262)

From the Renaissance to our own time, a stunning spiritual transformation of consciousness has been transferring Western and American thinking away from the supernatural living Holy God and biblical religion and toward unconscious Satanism: the new pagan religion of evolution.

Under the new pagan religion, the animated god-force called evolution is the principle miracle-producing power of the cosmos and unconscious Satanists are evolution's conscious products who can now achieve ever-higher levels of consciousness by directing their own evolution by going “within.”

Some unconscious Satanists now claim that a powerful mechanism is presently available to man from aliens who will solve mankind's problems and conduct man to a new "cosmic" age. Aliens are busily transforming the consciousness of abductees and other Westerners and through them teaching evolution, monism, occult New Age philosophy, warning of a coming planetary apocalypse and denying the living Triune God, the supernatural dimension and Christian theism.

All of this has led French physicist and UFO researcher Dr. Jacques Vallee to conclude that something is happening to human consciousness that is causing a major shift in man's belief systems and his relationship to the concept of the invisible. Vallee believes that the same "powerful force' that influenced the human race in the past is influencing it again:

".....human belief...is being controlled and conditioned, man's concepts are being rearranged, and we may be headed toward a massive change of human attitudes toward paranormal abilities and extraterrestrial life." (Orthodoxy and the Religion of the Future, Fr. Seraphim Rose, p. 109)

In light of this, Vallee proposes the hypothesis that there is a control system,

"... for human consciousness...I am suggesting that what takes place through close encounters with UFOs is control of human beliefs, control of the relationship between our consciousness and physical reality, and that this control has been in force throughout history...." (Alien Intrusion: UFOs and the Evolution Connection, Gary Bates, p. 158)

In occult terminology, transformation of consciousness is egregore, a concept representing a "thought form" or "collective group mind," resulting from a psychic entity influencing the thoughts of a group of people. However, egregore derives from the Greek word for "watchers," leading the French occult magician Eliphas Levi (1810-1875) to identify egregore with the fallen angel 'fathers' of the nephilim.

In Christian language, transformation of consciousness means demonic oppression and possession resulting from a "demonic outpouring.' Vallee's "powerful force" is really a new demonic outpouring being loosed by the devil and his legions, even within apostatizing Churches full of false converts, various occult rituals (yoga, 'new' contemplative prayer)  and devices (enneagram), corrupted Bibles and the bread of this world rather than heavenly manna:

There is a false ‘holy spirit’called Kundalini that has invaded the churches.  It is the same spirit that Hindus, yoga practitioners, and New Agers are familiarwith (the ‘serpent power’).  It is imparted by laying on of hands.  It, along with other unholy mocking spirits, began entering the ‘churches’ with the ‘Toronto Blessing’.  Another big doorway was Todd Bentley’s ‘Lakeland Revival’.  People, hungry for a move of God, went long distances to take part in these events, and to receive the spirit.  They then carried the spirit back to their home churches, and imparted it to others by laying on of hands…. If you believe you have received the Kundalini (or any other) spirit, then you need deliverance.  But don’t let that frighten you away from seeking the baptism of the Holy Spirit.” (Holy Spirit Baptism, dontbefooled666.wordpress.com)

Though a demonic outpouring overshadows our land, penetrating even into undiscerning, entertainment saturated and unfaithful Churches, hold tight to our Lord, He is our Rock:

And He said to me, 'It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son."  Revelation 21:4

Technological Singularity: Hermetic Magic + Alchemy + Sci Fi = Becoming like God

Trans-humanist Ray Kurzweil, director of engineering at  Google claims that by 2100 the biological parts of our body will be replaced with  mechanical parts and in just over 30 years, humans will become digitally immortal by uploading their entire minds to computers  - an event  called singularity.  (We'll be uploading our entire MINDS to computers by 2045 and our bodies will be  replaced by machines within 90 years, Google expert claims, Victoria Woollaston, 19 June 2013, dailymail.co.uk)

In Romans 1:25, the Apostle Paul describes the only two options available in response to questions concerning the ultimate origin of the cosmos and life.  These two are worship of the living Creator or worship of His creation.    At the foundation of the technological singularity is the latter: naturalism and/or monism, which refers to the view that nature (or matter) is the Ultimate Substance of which the universe and all life are made, thus “all is one.”    The ancient Babylonians,  Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, Aztecs and modern Latter Day Saints in the West and in the east, Buddhists and Hindus are for example, naturalists.  In this view there is but one realm (the material or natural) as opposed to Judeo-Christianity’s creation ex nihilo model with its two interacting realms: natural and supernatural.

Kurzweil's brand of trans-humanism is a  wild and crazy mix of neo-pagan monism combining an esoteric view of mystical dialectical matter with Hermetic magic ,Mystery Religion, an occult Tree of Life or Great Chain of Being, alchemy, both biological (Darwinian) and spiritual evolutionary conceptions, Eastern pantheism, science fiction and highly-evolved extraterrestrials.

Whereas the Genesis account speaks of a fall from good (high point), trans-humanism reverses this order.  Everything somehow begins at the bottom--from nothing---and then miraculously evolves up the Tree of Life by its own amazing powers, thereby affirming on one hand that living beings created themselves and on the other, that their spirits are free, meaning untouched by the living, triune God.

According to this account, billions of years ago there was nothing.   But then through an alchemical process 'something' finally transcended itself, allowing a process of transmutation (what astrophysicists call vacuum fluctuation) of nothing into a singularity (bright light) from which our universe (matter) was born.  After another billion years or so (mystical thinking) atoms, especially carbon atoms, which according to Kurzweil can of themselves create rich information structures, combined and  transcended themselves, allowing for the complex molecules that in turn resulted in physics.   Physics, said Kurzweil, gave rise to (mystical) chemistry.   A billion years later, chemistry transcended itself allowing for another transmutation process, this time of chemistry into a complex (thinking and life-bearing) molecule called DNA, which by its' own dialectic and life-bearing properties could "precisely encode lengthy strings of information" according to Kurzweil, thereby generating living organisms by way of its' information "programs."

So mystical chemistry transcended itself giving rise to biology:  thinking and life-bearing molecular organisms pregnant with communication and decision networks called nervous systems that over another billion years or so finally transcended themselves allowing for transmutation into brains.  Thus trans-humanists went from nothing, to singularity, to mystical thinking atoms to mystical chemistry to thinking and life-bearing DNA to brains and finally to Kurzweil, et al.

Behind evolutionary biology is an ancient esoteric science, meaning that like all Mystery Religions, both ancient and contemporary, it has both an exoteric or outer meaning for mass consumption and a hidden, or esoteric meaning, for higher initiates like Kurzweil.  Hiding beneath the idea that conscious life will eventually arise from a transmutation-process of something from nothing is the age-old technology of alchemy and its magical or mystical meaning: the Hermetic principle of the macrocosm's  correlation with the microcosm (man), “As above, so below” symbolized by the Singularity and occult tree of life.

Hermes is the father of the magic tradition.  His world-famous magic formula demonstrates the consubstantiality (oneness) of Herme's  divine intellect with the Divine One Substance/Tree of Life (Singularity) above.

Hermes Trismegistus had a guru, a teacher called Poimander who taught Hermes that,

"Unless you make yourself equal to God, you cannot understand God, for the like is not intelligible save to the like." (ibid, p. 79)

In order for the magic to work, matter (the Singularity, prikriti matter, World Spirit or Divine One Substance) must either pre-exist or have come into being from the Big Bang.   In either scenario, all being is at bottom one, or monistic.

Alchemical trans-humanism is based on a Pelagian view of humanity. Human nature is supposedly good, thus the possibility for evolutionary perfection is always present. Human beings are not flawed by the effects of ethical rebellion against the God of Revelation.  Given the evolutionary outlook, trans-humanism's  self-transcendence (divinization) of mere man becomes a sociological imperative:

At the stage we have reached in scientific research our minds and intelligence will have to surpass themselves and rise to transcendent heights; the human, all-too human, will no longer suffice.” ( Mircea Eliade, The Forge and the Crucible: The Origins and  Structures of Alchemy, Dr. Erdmann)

The self-transcending Hermetic practitioner said Molnar, strives first for separation of the soul from the body (purification), and second, for the spiritualization and divinization of all matter.     Darwin's formula attains the first goal while inventers of theories of spiritual/cosmic evolution made possible the second.

Molnar writes that travelers on this second highway were characteristically recruited from theology.  Representatives are:

"Bergson, Laberthonniere, Le Roy, Blondel, Bloch, Teilhard de Chardin, Heidegger, Bultmann, Karl Rahner, and numerous others..."  (God and the Knowledge of Reality, p. 133)

With Teilhard's idea, after billions of years of evolution, matter finally transcended itself thus allowing the transmutation of matter into a divine substance.   Now that the One Substance or Singularity is divine, said Teilhard:

"The great affair for modern mankind is to break its way out by forcing some threshold of greater consciousness." Christians should not fear the natural processes of evolution because it brings them inexorably to God and self-deification, "Though frightened for a moment by evolution, the Christian now perceives that what it offers him is...a magnificent means of (being) at one with God..."    (Genesis, Creation, and Early Man, Fr. Seraphim Rose, p. 590)

Humanist/trans-humanist philosophy, naturalism (monism), Hermetic magic, Cabala, Great Chain of Being, evolution, reincarnation and other forms of occultism were two sides of the same revival of Renaissance paganism underlying the intellectual edifice of modern science. Thus, C.S. Lewis argued in his great masterpiece, That Hideous Strength, occultism and humanistic rationalism are not enemies in principle but rather cooperating philosophies that are united against supernatural Christian theism and Christian civilization.

Lewis underscores this point in "The Abolition of Man:"

"You will even find people who write about the sixteenth century as if Magic were a medieval survival and Science the new thing that came in to sweep it away. Those who have studied the period know better. There was very little magic in the Middle Ages: the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries are the high noon of magic. The serious magical endeavour and the serious scientific endeavour are twins: one was sickly and died, the other strong and throve. But they were twins. They were born of the same impulse. I allow that some (certainly not all) of the early scientists were actuated by a pure love of knowledge. But if we consider the temper of that age as a whole we can discern the impulse of which I speak."

In conclusion, the technological singularity symbolizes the deep religious desires of self-perfecting transcendence and self-redemption, thus are incarnations,

“ ...of the ancient, deeply religious endeavor “to become like God” – infinitely wise, omnipotent, autonomous, and immortal." ( The Forge and the Crucible: The Origins and  Structures of Alchemy,  Dr. Erdmann)

The Grand Inquisitor's Swindle: the Abomination of Desolation Standing in the Holy Place

In Fyodor Dostoevsky's novel, "The Brothers Karamazov," (1879-1880) the Grand Inquisitor is an important part of the novel because the character represents Dostoevsky's penetrating insight into the fallen human psyche and one of its' most important endowments: moral freedom.   In particular, the Grand Inquisitor symbolizes the principle of nihilism (negation) and rebellion in mortal men such Hegel, Max Stirner, Karl Marx, Freud, Nietzsche, Teilhard de Chardin, and Sartre, who though not the actual devil are of like mind with him.

The Grand Inquisitor is a conscious swindler who knows that the living Triune God of Revelation exists, yet perversely chooses to rebel against God as revealed through Jesus Christ despite that he knows that his own life is by the grace of the living God.

In "Political Apocalypse: A Study of Dostoevsky's Grand Inquisitor," Ellis Sandoz writes that when Marx found himself compelled to negate his own being (soul/spirit, or self) because of his perverse desire to show that "man owes his existence (only) to man," and to establish that the "entire so-called history of the world is nothing but the creation of man," he virtually recapitulated Aquinas' argument:

"A being only considers himself independent when he stands on his own feet; and he only stands on his own feet when he owes his existence to himself.  A man who lives by the grace of another regards himself as a dependent being (and) I live completely by the grace of another if I owe him not only the maintenance of my life, but if he has, moreover, created my life---if he is the source of my life.  When it is not of my own creation, my life has necessarily a source of this kind outside of it.  The creation is therefore an idea very difficult to dislodge from popular consciousness.  The fact that nature and man exist in their own account is incomprehensible to it, because it contradicts everything tangible in practical life."(pp. 113-114)

Being of one mind with the devil, the Grand Inquisitor (Marx) suggests that in order to affirm that man is god, the denial of the existence of God has in the past been necessary, thus to further his swindle, he asserts antitheism rather than atheism, which is merely a negation of God that nevertheless postulates the existence of man through this negation.  The complete negation of God requires that man and nature (matter) be of the same substance.  As matter is soulless, then so is man.

For the conscious swindler, the prudent course is to flatly deny the existence of God and enforce this dictate by way of psychological manipulation and if need be, by murder.  Terrorize believers into groveling submission, and even better, accommodation, by way of harsh scorn, cruel ridicule, slander and charges of insanity.

The Inquisitor also knows that if men are deprived of the living God they will worship something else.  Thus as Marx, the Inquisitor proffers the natural religion of scientific socialism and dialectical materialism (evolutionary theory).  But when Darwin published his own theory, the Inquisitor immediately perceived its' philosophical materialist implications.  The idea that humans evolved by chance and natural selection from primordial water or lifeless chemicals lay the axe at the very foundation of the Genesis account of creation ex nihilo and provided the scientific framework to support the economic infrastructure on which Marx could build his godless communist utopia:

"...the biggest thing going for Darwinism was that it finally broke the tyranny in which Christianity had held the minds of men for so many centuries." (F. Hoyle and C. Wickramasinghe, "Evolution From Space," 1983, pp. xiii-xxii, 81 and 145)

In the time-tested knowledge that appeals to pride work most every time, the Inquisitor describes the Genesis account as nothing but myth believed by backward unscientific rubes. All of the really forward-thinking people, cooed the Inquisitor, believe evolution.  Evolution is a scientific fact that not only tells us where we come from  but,

"....tells us where we came from, how we got here, and perhaps where we are going. Quite simply, it is science’s version of Roots, except it is the story of us all." (Professor S.J. Gould, quoted in Time, May 1983, p. 35)

The Inquisitor (Teilhard) knows that men long to deify themselves as of old so he begins a New Religion that combines Darwinian evolution, Hermetic magic and Hindu-style mystical pantheism.  This will be a better Christianity.  Look,  I've taken the personal God out of His heaven so He will,

".....become the soul of the world; our religious and cultural stage calls for this.” (Lettres a Leontine Zanta, quoted by von Hildebrand in Trojan Horse in the City of God, 1967, p. 239)

See, we have killed Him, declared the Inquisitor (Nietzsche).  And now,

"Do we not dash on unceasingly?  Backwards, sideways, forwards, in all directions?  Is there still an above and below? Do we not stray...through infinite nothingness?  Does not empty space breathe upon us?  ...Does not night come on continually, darker and darker?"  (Nihilism: The Root of the Revolution of the Modern Age, Eugene Rose, p. 108)

It was Nietzsche, the apostate Christian philosopher who was the first to gaze fully upon man's loss of the personal God and faith and its terrifying consequences.  With no living God to obstruct his vision, the nihilism he saw was agonizing.

In "The Gnostic Religion," Hans Jonas provides a full-scale study of the heretical world of pre-Christian and Christian era Gnostic nihilism together with its modern variant--- metaphysical nihilism, the consequence of the complete negation of God and reduction of man to matter.

Jonas writes that while ancient Gnostic man is thrown,

"...into an antagonistic, anti-divine, and therefore anti-human nature, modern (Gnostic) man (is thrown) into an indifferent one." (p. 338, emphasis added)

Whereas the ancient gnostic conception is still anthropomorphic despite the nihilism, hostility and demonic, its modern counterpart with its' indifferent nature, its' completely godless, soulless, spiritless nature, represents the "absolute vacuum, the really bottomless pit."

At least the ancient Gnostic dualism, as fantastic as it was, was at least self-consistent, as there was a source for 'self' (being).   Not so for its' modern counterpart:

"So radically has anthropomorphism been banned from....nature that even man must cease to be conceived anthropomorphically if he is just an accident of nature.  As the product of the indifferent, his being, too, must be indifferent.  Then the facing of his mortality would simply warrant the reaction, 'Let us eat and drink for tomorrow we die." (p. 339)

Peering into the void, the Inquisitor (Nietzsche)  saw only darkness---no entry from the outside into this hermetically sealed world, a world devoid of God, higher truth, moral law, eternity, soul, meaning, and purpose.  The paralyzing darkness that took possession of him was an inner blinding that spreading outward, briefly lifted up its horn to trumpet the death of God before falling into madness.

Hans Jonas comments:

"...modern nihilism (is) infinitely more radical and more desperate than gnostic nihilism ever could be for all its panic terror of the world and its defiant contempt of its laws.  That nature does not care, one way or the other, is the true abyss.  That only man cares, in his finitude facing nothing but death, alone with....the objective meaninglessness of his projected meanings, is a truly unprecedented situation." (Jonas, p. 339)

This was precisely the Inquisitor's point.  With the death of God objective meaninglessness and universal madness would eventually penetrate every avenue of thought and life, making life itself unbearable.

"...they seek my soul to destroy it..." Psalm 63:9

The Inquisitor's great swindle has succeeded beyond all expectation.  The triumph of naturalism, Darwinism and other naturalistic evolutionary conceptions in the nineteenth century has meant the negation of the Divinely inspired Genesis account of creation ex nihilo delivered to Moses who was in the wilderness with the angel.

The “angel” who spoke with Moses at Sinai, delivering unto him the “living oracles” (Scriptures) was the Word begotten of God before all creation (John 1:1-5), the Lord Jesus Christ Himself in a pre-incarnate theophany:

"... which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us." (Acts 7:38)

Jesus Christ, the “angel” who spoke with Moses at Sinai, is the Creator.  Foremost of His miracles is creation out of nothing—six acts or days of creation rather than the billions of years of evolutionary process out of lifeless matter in conjunction with transmigration and reincarnation as modern wisdom holds:

The first moment of time is the moment of God’s creative act and of creation’s simultaneous coming to be.” (Philosopher and New Testament scholar William Lane Craig quoted in “If God created the universe, then who created God?’ by Jonathan Sarfati, Creation Ministries International)

On the miraculous creation of the first man Church Father John Chrysostom writes:

And God formed man of dust from the earth, and breathed into his face the breath of life, and man became a living soul….the inbreathing communicated to the one created out of earth the power of life, and thus the nature of the soul was formed.  What does a living soul mean?  An active soul, which has the members of the body as the implements of its activities, submissive to its will.” (Genesis, Creation, and Early Man, Seraphim Rose, p.215)

The negation of our Lord's Divine revelation results in the following consequences:

First, whether wittingly or unwittingly, Jesus Christ has been made into a liar.

Second, there is no logical source for either life or soul/spirit:

"Instead of Adam, our ancestry is traced to the most grotesque of creatures; thought is phosphorous; the soul complex nerves, and our moral sense a secretion of sugar."  (Disraeli, quoted by John Passmore "A Hundred Years of Philosophy," p. 36)

Third, the Abomination of Desolation now stands in the Holy place materializing the souls and blinding the eyes of men that they not see Jesus Christ, the Physician of our souls who came to heal the spiritually sick that they may live:

"..... I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing, therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life..." Deuteronomy 30:19-20

But sinful men really prefer the bread (stones) of the world to Jesus Christ's heavenly bread, intoned the Inquisitor (Teilhard).   Like me they detest,

"...all those goody-goody romances about the saints and the martyrs! Whatever normal child would want to spend eternity in such boring company?" (Genesis, Creation, and Early Man, Fr. Seraphim Rose, p. 584)

Being of one mind with the devil, the Inquisitor knows the secret of human nature.  It was made known during the time that God spent on earth as the Christ and was tempted in the wilderness.   The secret was made known there but was ignored, said the Inquisitor, because God would not deprive men of the freedom of good and evil and of either heavenly bread and paradise or earthly bread and outer darkness.

The secret and fundamental axiom of the devil is that "mankind worships its belly," which means that the,

"...promised bread of heaven can never compare with 'earthly bread in the eyes of the weak, ever sinful and ignoble race of man." (Sandoz, p. 117)

The devil adds that among sinful rebellious men at every level of society there is a universal craving to find "community of worship" where there will be no dispute about whatever earthly stones are to be worshipped.   It must be established so that all can agree and be united in satisfying their pungent cravings.    Whether inside or outside of the apostate and accommodating church,

"....earthly bread fills these qualifications better than anything else" since  man's "greatest anxiety is to be rid of his freedom."   From President to Congressman, Hollywood actor, scientist, lawmaker and priest, man can readily dupe himself into surrendering his moral freedom,

"...to those who are skillful enough to appease his conscience." (Sandoz, pp. 117-118)

The triumph of the devil and his Inquisitors is seen by the masses of dehumanized Westerners and Americans, both secular and worldly Christian, who being thoroughly preoccupied with the bread and circuses of this world, cannot apprehend the lie of naturalism and evolution or perceive the Abomination of Desolation standing in the Holy Place.

Hermetic Magic, Evolution, and America's Rising Moloch State

"While relatively little is known of Moloch, much more is known of the concept of divine kingship, the king as god, and the god as king, as the divine-human link between heaven and earth.  The god-king represented man on a higher  scale, man ascended, and the worship of such a god, i.e., of such a Baal, was the assertion of the continuity of heaven and earth.  It was the belief that all being was one being  and the god therefore was an ascended man on that scale of being.  The power manifested in the political order was thus a manifestation or apprehension and seizure of divine power..." (Rousas Rushdoony cited in "The Antichrist," by Vincent P. Miceli, S.J., pp. 246, 247

In Romans 1:25, the Apostle Paul describes the only two options available in response to questions concerning the ultimate origin of the cosmos and life.  These two are worship of the living Creator or worship of His creation.    At the foundation of the Moloch state is the latter: naturalism and/or monism, which refers to the view that nature (or matter) is the Ultimate Substance of which the universe and all life are made, thus “all is one.”    The ancient Babylonians,  Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, and Aztecs in the West and in the east, Hindus were and are, for example, naturalists.  In this view there is but one realm (the material or natural) as opposed to Judeo-Christianity’s creation ex nihilo model with its two interacting realms: natural and supernatural.

There are two basic kinds of nature worship:  materialism and mystical pantheism.  The two kinds differ chiefly about whether the  One Substance is nonliving, non-intelligence bearing matter and energy or an unknowing, unknowable, amoral mind or cosmic soul.  However, both kinds are united by their rejection of the transcendent, personal living God of Revelation, creation ex nihilo, man created as God's spiritual image-bearers, the fall, heaven and hell, immutable truth, moral absolutes, and the Incarnation, as well as by their acceptance of some form of evolution.

In the exoteric form proffered for mass consumption and taught as science in our schools it serves as an impersonal, mechanical process of natural development that conceptually separates man from his soul, thereby reducing him to an aggregate of matter and energy in motion, leaving him with nothing---no self, no personhood, no  heaven above, no hell below and no light at the end of the tunnel.  All that is left to him is the loneliness of existence in its most desolate form, making life unbearable.  The inner darkness that seizes and stupefies his spirit spreads outward, finding expression in angry, confused, incoherent utterances such as the one I received recently from a "scientifically enlightened" aggregate of matter and energy, a walking dead body that nevertheless speaks and endorses its own soullessness:

"Science is a research program....man is a biological machine... the more evidence we dig up, the more fantastic, implausible, and most powerfully, IRRELEVANT the “god hypothesis” becomes as an explanation for minds, or any other phenomenon."

In its esoteric or mystical meaning evolution symbolizes the Hermetic principle of the  divine-human link between heaven and earth, “As above, so below” symbolized by the Great Chain of Being, Scala Naturae and with Darwin, the tree of life.

According to this esoteric concept, all life forms can be arranged in a continuous linear scale with the god-king (man on a higher  scale, man ascended) at the top as the divine-human link between the One Substance and earth and then in descending order, lower-order humans, sub-human masses, animals, birds, reptiles, fish, stones, metals, earth, water, air and ether.  Above the god-king are unseen higher dimensions, daemons, angels and finally, the Divine One Substance.

In "The Long War Against God: The History and Impact of the Creation/Evolution Debate," Dr. Henry Morris writes that according to the concept as it was understood in the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries, the idea of a continuum of systems easily lent itself to the concept of evolution, and once it was set in motion, time values were imparted to the motion. (pp. 185-186)

Loren Eiseley (Sept. 3, 1907 – July 9, 1977), an American anthropologist, educator, philosopher, and natural science writer elaborates:

"All that the Great Chain of Being actually needed to become a full-fledged evolutionary theory was the introduction into it of the conception of time in vast quantities added to mutability of form.  It demanded, in other words, a universe not made but being made continuously....It was France, whose social system was dissolving. that produced the first modern evolutionists.  As we look back upon the long reign of the Scale of Being, whose effects...persisted well into the nineteenth century, we may observe that the seed of evolution lay buried in this traditional metaphysic which indeed prepared the Western mind for its acceptance."  (Eiseley, "Darwin's Century," p. 39, in "The Long War Against God, pp. 185-186)

As Eiseley makes clear, the Great Chain of Being is not only a traditional metaphysic but also an ancient doctrine whose source and taproot are the esoteric texts of Hermes Trismegistus in the first centuries A.D.  Hermes world-famous magic formula demonstrates the consubstantiality (oneness) of Herme's  divine intellect with the Divine One Substance above.

What this means is that the 'modern' evolutionary science that has taken the West and America by storm and thanks to the intellectual pride and weakness of modern theologians is increasingly supplanting the Genesis account of creation ex nihilo is Hermes magic formula later expressed as the Great Chain of Being revised and revamped for modern consumption.

It was during the Renaissance that humanist scholars and mystics discovered these esoteric texts and like Pico della Mirandola, argued that hermetic science---the divine technology of reaching divine status and powers through magic manipulation----is the best proof of the divinity of Christ.    In other words, said Molnar,

"..by the time of the Renaissance the esoteric texts of the first centuries A.D. had acquired in scholarly and humanist circles an unparalleled prestige, confronting as equals the texts held sacred by the church.  In Pico's estimation, 'nulla est scientia que nos magis certificet de divinitate Christ quam magia et Cabala' (there is no science that would prove for us Christ's divinity better than magic and the Cabala."  (ibid, pp. 78-79)

The Hermetic practitioner said Molnar, strives first for separation of the soul from the body (purification), and second, for the spiritualization of all matter.

Teilhard's mystical pantheist evolutionary conception makes possible the second goal while Darwin's formula allows for the first:

"....the doctrine of evolution has swept the world, not on the strength of its scientific merits, but precisely in its capacity as a Gnostic myth. It affirms, in effect, that living things created themselves, which is in essence a metaphysical claim.... And the myth is Gnostic, because it implicitly denies the transcendent origin of being; for indeed, only after the living creature has been speculatively reduced to an aggregate of particles does Darwinist transformism become conceivable."  ( Dr. Wolfgang Smith in From Old Gnosticism to New Age I, Alan Morrison, SCP Journal Vol. 28:4-29:1, 2005, pp. 30-31)

Rushdoony notes that the Moloch state simply represents the supreme effort of Godless men to command the future, to predestine the world, and to be as God. Commanding the future involves divination, spirit-questing, magic and witchcraft.  All are equally anathema to God and represent efforts to have the future on other than God's terms, to have a future apart from and in defiance of God.  They are assertions that the world is not of God but of nature, and that man can somehow master nature and the future by going directly to the raw materials thereof.  (Rousas Rushdoony cited in "The Antichrist," by Vincent P. Miceli, S.J., pp. 246, 247)

The Moloch state freely took the lives of its children — and sub-human adults for that matter — as sacrifices to the god of the state.  In this light,  Gosnell's house of horrors is nothing more than revamped child-sacrifice to the god-kings of our liberal Moloch-state:   http://www.phila.gov/districtattorney/pdfs/grandjurywomensmedical.pdf

The Soviet Union was a secularized-Moloch state.  Its so-called "scientific socialism" was grounded in  evolutionary materialist-monism.  In pursuit of its' "heaven on earth," the Soviet God-State murdered over 60,000,000 subhuman  men, women, and children.

Demonstrating that there is "nothing new under the sun, what once was will be again," the "death of the living God" impulse together with the return to ancient esoteric traditions that arose during the Renaissance put moderns on a fast-track to  the past.  In the name of enlightenment, rationalism, naturalism, free-thought, progress, scientism, and evolution,  modern men have not moved forward to something new and better, rather they  have regressed to revamped versions of  Hermetic magic, the Moloch state and the  nature-based religions of the pre-Christian past.   As a result, vast numbers of Westerners have been dehumanized and stupefied through the teaching of evolution and the situation of the remnant of faithful Christians and Jews will increasingly resemble that of the early Christians of the first century.  In his novel, "The Final Conclave"  Malachi Martin captures a moment in the cruel history of the Roman persecution of Christians:

"Simon Peter at last sees it all as Jesus saw it all from the beginning.  Even then, Simon sees it from a topsy-turvy angle.  He and some two thousand other Christians have been tied to crosses stuck upside down on the grassy embankment around the Imperial Gardens on Vatican Hill.  They have been daubed with pitch.  Tonight they are to be living, screaming, dying torches.  Emperor Nero, his lovely concubine Poppaea, and their guests will have light to eat by and sights to joke about.  Each Christian will die in the classic sign of Satan — the upside-down cross."  (cited in "Capturing the Pagan Mind, Peter Jones, p. ix)
