The War on Thanksgiving

Because so many of us no longer believe in the God of the Bible, we no longer have any standard for truth. Some even dispute whether there is such a thing as truth. That's how crazy it can get.

The latest evidence of this assault on standards and truth comes in the form of confusion about what to teach about Thanksgiving in America's government schools.

For instance, the Seattle school district sent out a letter to staff warning that the holiday is not a joyous occasion for all Americans. For many native Americans, wrote Superintendent Willard Bill, it is a "time of mourning," not celebration.
