"Somebody in our government needs to finally pay attention. It is what I've been talking about that was coming for a very long time and that is disenfranchisement which will turn into anger and then turn into God knows what," Glenn Beck said Friday on his radio program about CNBC'S Rick Santelli's passionate comments made Thursday from the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Mark the date: February 19, 2009 when Santelli might have unwittingly fired a shot signaling the beginning of The Great Revolution, spawning dozens of citizen Tea Party Protests across the country. Responding to Santelli's passionate comments, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs suggested Santelli drink a cup of decaf coffee. We prefer tea.
The flood of interest in a modern-day "Tea Party" was launched with Santelli's nearly three-minute rant on the floor of the exchange, in response to President Obama's plans for $275 billion in deficit-financed homeowner bailouts
"We're thinking of having a Chicago Tea Party in July," Santelli told CNBC "Squawk Box" co-anchor Joe Kernan. "All you capitalists who want to show up at Lake Michigan, I'm going to start organizing."

Forty-two lawsuits have been filed demanding that Barack Obama produce his vault certificate of birth and prove he's a natural born citizen as required by the Constitution. The tipping point may have been reached to achieve legal critical mass when four Tennessee legislators signed on as plaintiffs in a new lawsuit forcing Obama to prove his U.S. citizenship.
Tennessee State Rep. Eric Swafford and attorney Dr. Orly Taitz spoke about the lawsuit on my radio program.
Former U.S. Ambassador and presidential candidate Alan Keyes is among those filing suit. WorldNetDaily's Drew Zahn reported on Keyes' comments in an article over the weekend which included a video in which Keyes boldly calls Obama a communist.
Last November, WND senior staff writer Jerry Corsi went to Kenya in search of Obama's birth roots but was taken into custody and held before being unceremoniously booted out of the country.

A Brazilian carnival queen famous for her skimpy attire is grabbing headlines for painting President Barack Obama's face on her body. Viviane Castro paraded nearly nude early Saturday with the U.S. leader's visage on her right thigh.
Getting to the bottom
Getting to the bottom of it, you can order up your very own roll of Obama bathroom tissue. Purchase a roll of Barack Obama Toilet Paper which features on each sheet a photo of Obama set on a white background. This roll would look great on the desk of any Democrat. Obama is probably the most commercialized president since JFK, wiping out all the other competition. Don't be behind the times. At only $9 a roll, get yours now while you can still afford it!

Shaking your head, or your piggy bank
Baron Bodissey gives us a history of our currency, taking you from coinage and paper money to the gold and silver standards, and the institutions that control the money flow. But that's not all. Bodissey extrapolates into the future, one that leaves you shaking your head, if not your piggy bank.
Walid Shoebat, admitted former Palestinian terrorist tuned Christian and ardent spokesman against Jihad and radical Islam, spoke out about the Muslim husband who decapitated his wife because she wanted a divorce. Shoebat had plenty to say about that crime and others that are spreading throughout our communities and the world in the name of Allah.
Blogger Dave Logan reminds us that the battle of Iwo Jima began on February 19, 1945, and lasted until March 26, 1945. And he has some interesting links that bring to life the invasion known as Operation Detachment, including video of a color film depicting what would prove to be the bloodiest battle in Marine Corps history, with 6,825 Americans killed and thousands more wounded.
On February 23, 1945, 64 years ago, American forces made it to the top of Mount Suribachi for the raising of the American flag. Joe Rosenthal was on hand with his camera to capture the most famous of WWII images. Three of the six flag raisers were killed before the island was finally secured, but their images have lived on for more than six decades and will continue to do so for many more.
