French Pres. Pours Scorn Onto Obama's Naivety and Herd Mentality

Danny Brierley17.04.09 FRENCH president Nicolas Sarkozy has labelled his US counterpart Barack Obama "inexperienced and indecisive".

The unflattering assessment of Mr Obama's political abilities came during a sweeping broadside against a host of world leaders. Mr Sarkozy has also reportedly labelled the Spanish leader as dim, the German Chancellor as clinging on to France's coat tails and the head of the European Commission as irrelevant.

In the latest candid communiqués from the Elysée Palace, Mr Sarkozy was quoted as telling an all-party group of MPs that Mr Obama "was elected two months ago and had never run a ministry. There are a certain number of things on which he has no position. And he is not always up to standard on decision making and efficiency".

The French president is reportedly irritated by suggestions that Mr Obama convinced China to reach a compromise with Mr Sarkozy over tax havens, and allegedly also claimed that the US leader had "underperformed" on the issue of climate change. He is also said to be annoyed at the almost universal praise for Mr Obama in the world's media.

Claude Askolovitch, a commentator close to the Elysée Palace, wrote: "The president is annoyed at what he sees as the naivety and herd mentality."

President Sarkozy recognizes a con artist when he sees / hears one, (in this case it isn't difficult) unlike obamas herd or more precise, obamas "Useful Idiots". Bravo to President Sarkozy for speaking out what is so obvious!

Sarkozy is right - Obama is a case of style over substance. More dangerously, he's espousing the reckless financial policies of his friends on Wall Street who bankrolled his campaign and who now seek to re-inflate the bubble by taking from the poor and giving to the rich. He'll know a bitter backlash later this year when he's failed and seen as having betrayed those in whom he encouraged the view that he was a kind of American and world saviour.

Obama went from being a community organizer to president in 6 years. There is not question he has no experience in governing. Unfortunately, the sychophants in the U.S. media slobber over him daily despite the fact that he's reneged on countless campaign promises made to get elected. The big question is how long it will take the people who voted for him to wake up and see him for the fraud that he is.
