Dumping of Fetuses in China: Too Immoral to Happen Here?

Worth Readingby John Lillpop

Much of the civilized world remains in shock at the news coming from China where 21 dead fetuses were discovered dumped in a river.

As reported at msn.com, in part:

“BEIJING - Chinese officials have sought to contain public outrage after workers at a hospital dumped 21 dead fetuses and infants' bodies near a river bank.

“The corpses were discovered near a bridge in Jining, a city in Shandong province on China's east coast, abandoned there by staff at a local hospital morgue, according to Chinese news reports that have stirred sharp public criticism.

“Authorities have not said how the infants and fetuses died, but news reports said some of the fetuses had been aborted.”

Quite naturally, many Americans assume an air of moral superiority, along with the obligatory outrage, at this tragic discovery.

Such cruel disrespect for human life simply would never happen here, right?

Alas, if only that were true.

Unfortunately, since the sanctioning of infanticide by the U.S. Supreme Court in its Roe V. Wade 1973 death sentence for the unborn, approximately 50 million human lives have been willfully terminated because of inconvenience, concern for the mother’s life and or health, financial distress and so on.

50 million!

That’s equivalent to the entire population of the state of California (and then some) being destroyed at the whim of women too irresponsible, unhealthy, or immoral to allow the precious life which the Creator has blessed them with to mature into living, breathing human beings.

Even worse, the Congress of the United States has recently passed legislation in the name of health care reform which actually funds abortion by the government.

When it comes to disregard for innocent human life, America’s pro-choice fanatics are without peer.
