'Under God' dropped from Pledge on House floor (Video)

Yet another elected federal official is under fire for omitting references to God in America's historical documents and creeds.

A C-SPAN video has surfaced of U.S. Representative Betty McCollum, D-Minn., leading the floor of the U.S. House in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, but conspicuously going silent when the words "under God" would normally be said.

As WND has reported, President Obama has also been caught deleting references to God – on three separate occasions in a little over a month – by quoting the Declaration of Independence but glaringly omitting the founding document's acknowledgement of God as "Creator" and source of human rights.

Where the Declaration states, "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness," President Obama has quoted only that all men "are endowed" with certain rights.
