In the article, "Normalizing Necromancy..." herescope blogspot reveals that Robert Schuller, Rick Warren, Leonard Sweet and other modernist theologians teach the ancient heresy "god is in everything." The god they worship is not the transcendent personal, living Triune God Who created all things ex nihilo but rather a non-lifebearing impersonal god-substance known as Chaos to the Sumerians, Assyrians, Babylonians, Egyptians, Greeks and Romans. Chaos was said to be the first substance in existence. And since Chaos was a god-substance of which all things were parts or extensions, then god was in everything, including mankind, hence "as above god, then so below god."
"As above, so below" is the key magic-teaching of Hermes Trismegistus Thoth:
"Hermes, the god of Wisdom, known in Egypt, Syria, and Phoenicia as Thoth, Tat, Adad, Seth, and Sat-an..., and in Greece as Kadmus, The kabalists identify him with Adam Kadmon, the first manifestation of the Divine Power, and with Enoch. There were two Hermes: the elder was the Trismegistus, and the second an emanation or 'permutation' of himself; the friend and instructor of Isis and Osiris. Hermes is the god of the priestly wisdom..." (Luciferian Theosophist H. P. Blavatsky, 195:xxxiii, Vol I)
Ancient Egypt was a Hermetic order. Thus its' sorcerers were Hemetic magicians:
"And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent. Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods." Exodus 7:10-12
Hermetic magic has been revived and analysis reveals it for example, within modernist systems such as Karl Marx's dialectical materialism, Hitler's occult theosophy, and Warren's bestseller, The Purpose-Driven Life, which has thus far sold 30,000,000 copies. Herescope reports:
"... Rick Warren uses Eugene Peterson's The Message as his primary "Bible" translation in his book The Purpose-Driven Life. Eugene Peterson inserted the key to all magic and mysteries-the key occult/New Age phrase "as above, so below" that signifies that God is "in" everything-into his "translation" of The Lord's Prayer.
Since Chaos is incapable of creating anything, it must be said of it that all things, including the gods and mankind mechanically evolved, emerged or emmanated out of it, hence the need for evolutionary conceptions. Herescope reveals that Leonard Sweet openly endorses Teilhard de Chardin's evolutionary conception:
"evangelical leader Leonard Sweet, with deep roots in the Leadership Network, introduced the New Age tactic of using quantum physics to seemingly "prove" that God is "in" everything while citing New Age patriarch Pierre Teilhard de Chardin as "20th century Christianity's major voice." Sweet also cites numerous New Age leaders as his "role models" and "heroes."
Chardin's evolutionary conception springboards off of Darwin's theory. Darwin's conception teaches that all things evolved out of matter (primordial pond scum) over vast periods of time. Picking up where Darwin's conception leaves off, Teilhard teaches that after millions of years of evolution, god is finally emerging out of matter. For Chardin, the divine one-substance known by the Sumerians as Chaos is the Noosphere:
" Pierre Teilhard de Chardin believed that humanity could achieve a form of Godhood or a high level of spirituality called the Omega Point. This was an evolutionary process that everyone could attain through discipline and dedication to the path of enlightenment. He coined the phrase noosphere that is a sphere of the mind above the animalistic biosphere. The noosphere is a sphere of reflection and conscious intentions that binds with all of humanity. He maintains that evolution has a definite direction called an Ariadne’s thread, a connection with the growing complexity of the human mind that seems to push us forward, or pull us toward a time of self-actualized Godhood. He suggests that awareness with self-reflection was the source of transcendence; he says, “an evolution conscious of itself could also direct itself.†(Omega Point Institue)
"Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein." Jeremiah 6:16, KJB
A spirit of change, of modernism, moves with virtually no resistance over and through the spiritually undiscerning Church luring Christians away from "the old paths" and toward occult philosophy. Occult philosophy is replacing the teachings of Scripture, but spiritually undiscerning Christians cannot see that this is happening nor that its' purpose is the occult (demonic) enlightenment of humanity.
The spiritually blind cannot see that they are stepping out into the void. The occult philosophy of Warren, Sweet, and other heretics leads away from the transcendent living, personal Triune God, Creator and Sustainer of soul, spirit, mind, and will, and by extension, human dignity and worth. If man is not God's spiritual image-bearer, then he is less than nothing, and the Buddha came to this understanding six century's before Jesus Christ.
Scripture warns us against the traditions of men, saying they are deceitful and useless for attaining salvation:
"Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition... But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men... Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch". - Matt. 15:6,9,14
The blind leading the blind have stepped out into a downward spiraling vortex issuing into the void---the abyss.
