America's Ship of Liars: Why Madness Reigns Supreme

"They answered Jesus, 'We do not know.' And He said to them, 'Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.' It was if He had said, 'You know the truth...but you deny it because you are evil; I know it because I am God, but I will not tell you because you are unworthy.' Liars will lie to themselves if they have no one to deceive." (Incomplete Work on Matthew, Homily 29, Ancient Christian Commentary, Oden and Crosby, pp. 221-222) Elsewhere Jesus said to liars, you are like your father the devil. He was a liar from the beginning. This means that when we choose to lie our minds are in league with the father of lies. And on the liar, the anger of heaven descends, hence the Psalmist writes of the Lord who says, "He who speaks falsehood shall not stand before my eyes."

Grievous lies stir up rancor and the desire for justice which if not forthcoming leads to revenge and violence. The fear that one deception will beget a chain reaction of lies paralyzes dialogue, justice, and normal social relations. Lies destroy trust, respect and harmony, the very bonds of peace and order. Lies open the door to suspicion, abuse, estrangement, antagonism, cruelty, and malice.

Because our age is an Age of Moral Relativism, it is an Age of Lies. And because the mind of a liar is in tune with the devil's we hear moral relativists claim on one hand "who can know truth?" while on the other viewing themselves as the supreme inventers of their own truth claims. But they are liars. They can know truth---they just don't want to know it.

In his book, "What We Can't Not Know," J. Budziszewski outlined the four natural means of attaining moral knowledge:

"the witness of deep conscience, the witness of design in nature, the witness of our own design, and the witness of natural consequences."

In unison, these witnesses lead us to this principle:

"How things are meant to work," which Budziszewski said is, "just plain enough to learn from observing them and just simple enough to learn from the error of one's ways."

As an example of what Budziszewski is talking about, consider what you would need to do if you wished to attract butterflies to your yard. You would need to discover what particular types of plants and flowers attract butterflies. You would need to learn what sort of nutrients these plants require. Finally, you would have to dig up a garden plot, plant your flowers, fertilize, water, keep your garden weeded, wait for the flowers to bloom and butterflies to discover them.

Now before beginning your gardening project, consider for a moment the truths you already did know but didn't realize you knew. You know it is true that seeds planted into the ground grow. You know it is true that there are different kinds of seeds for every kind of plant. You know it is true that plants grow in soil and need water. You know it is true that butterflies are attracted to fully open flowers and not buds. You know it is true that spring and late summer are the times for growing things.

Conversely, you know it is true that seeds dropped onto cement will not grow. You know better than to plant a garden in December. You know that if you want cucumbers, you must plant cucumber seeds and not tomato seeds.

The point of this is that if we ignore what we know is true and right (how things are meant to work) our gardens will fail, as will our marriages and our entire society. In other words, when we ignore what we know is true and right we incur the wrath of the Law of Consequences. Thus when a society collectively ignores what is true and right, justice will become injustice, decency will become indecency, up will become down, good will become evil, males will become females, females will be males and arrogant lesbians will demand the removal of priests for daring to speak truth to lies in the house of God: Lesbian Demands Removal of Priest After She was Denied Communion at Her Mother's Funeral

People who submit themselves to higher transcendant authority are people of 'sound, orderly minds.' They are capable of self-discipline and moral virtue. The Catholic priest exemplifies this type of person as do America's founding generation. But people who stubbornly rebel against transcendant natural authority, such as the lesbian, are quite literally mad. Their minds are disordered. They are of their father the devil, thus they lack self-discipline. They are emotional tyrants, liars, amoral self-centered egoists. People of this kind, should they gain positions of authority, influence and control always cause social upheaval, anguish, enormous suffering, moral collapse, and ultimately destruction.

It is because those who are of their father the devil outnumber the morally virtuous that our age is an age of lies, upheaval, increasing lawlessness, cruelty, rage, brazen perversion, and narcissism. A tidal wave of sex crimes, some of them evil beyond belief, are sweeping our nation from the highest corridors of power to the lowest levels of society. For instance, "Conspiracy of Silence" is a powerful, disturbing documentary revealing a nationwide child abuse and pedophilia ring that leads to the highest levels of government. Featuring intrepid investigator John DeCamp, a highly decorated Vietnam war veteran and 16-year Nebraska state senator, "Conspiracy of Silence" reveals how rogue elements at all levels of government have been involved in systematic child abuse and pedophilia to feed the base desires of key politicians.

Conspiracy of Silence:

These crimes are telling us that something has gone terribly wrong in America, and as a result, the heavy-hand of the Law of Consequences is upon our land.

So where did America go wrong? When America turned its back on God the Father, jettisoned transcendant moral authority and her traditional Christian-Judao moral compass with its accompanying fixed moral laws and principles (natural laws), she plunged into moral relativism and madness. Thus today every self-centered egoists' lusts, hatreds, and contempt have become their personal barometer for right and wrong. So the guy who likes loud music says it's ok to drive through quiet neighborhoods with his music blasting. Telemarketers say it's ok to trespass into our homes in search of sales. Pedophiles say it's ok to rut on children. Jurists say it's ok for them to use foreign law to make decisions in America because they feel that world opinion should trump our own Rule of Law and Constitution. And why not? God is dead and so is truth.

In stupidly liberating ourselves from God the Father, the Source of the principle, "how things are meant to work,' Americans unwittingly pushed the 'on' button labeled "naturally occuring process of decay." To deprave something means to take something good and begin a process whereby the good thing slowly becomes bad. This process is part of the Law Of Consequences. Thus America is destined to become increasingly disordered, chaotic, lawless, depraved, rotten and evil.
