Strange Fire in the Minds of the West's Ruling Class

Among the West's 'enlightenment' crowd, Andre Comte-Sponville is acclaimed as one of Frances' preeminent contemporary philosophers. In his most recent book, "The Little Book of Atheist Spirituality," Sponville paradoxically argues for a god-free existence that is simultaneously spiritual. Though Sponville believes himself wise, as do his admirers, he has in fact become foolish in his reasoning and comprehension because though he knows the truth he has willfully turned away from it and by consequence been forced to accept a position about himself that is intellectually foolish. This means that by rejecting the living God, the only source and bestower of life, Sponville and his enthusiastic fans must vainly say to evolutionary forces,

"thou art my father who has caused me to evolve from matter" and to brute matter, the abyss, or extraterrestrials, "thou art the source of life that hast begotten me." (Jer. 2:13, 27)

In plain language, this means that in rejecting the living God, Sponville has stupidly annihilated the living Source of his own spirit (mind, reason, conscience, free will) and soul, or self. So his talk of god-free spirituality is utter nonsense.

Elsewhere, Sponville correctly argues that if and when the Christian West ceases to be Christian there will be nothing left. In other words, there will be no enduring principles, higher truths, moral absolutes, meaning and purpose with which to either oppose,

"...fanaticism from without or...nihilism from within....and contrary to what most people seem to think, nihilism is the primary danger. We would belong to a dead civilization, or at least a dying one." (pp. 28-29)

Among the West's academic and political 'elite' humanists, the most fashionable intellectual thinkers today are de Sade and Friedrich Nietzsche said Comte. From these two thinkers arise two wholly destructive temptations, sophistry and nihilism.

Fundamentally, these two temptations are evil twins that spawn a view of reality that ultimately denies reality as with Sponville's argument for a god-free existence that is at the same time spiritual or with the West's 'elite' humanists self-conception of faultlessness while in reality their conscience is depraved, and a depraved conscience is the most destructive force in political, social, economic, and cultural life. Though their intellect remains intact, their reason is warped and strangely inverted, thus useless for pursuit of the good, the life-affirming, the just and the true. In short, guided by a depraved conscience, reason is used in pursuit of the preservation of self-image and whatever 'self' wants--- at any cost. This is the rotten fruit of the evil twins.

In a penetrating analysis of sophistry, J. Budziszewski describes sophists as shock troopers of evil. According to their satanically-inverted view of reality:

"Man is the measure of all things, but man has no fixed nature. Man measures all things by his words, but words have no fixed meanings. Language is not an instrument for finding truth, but for changing it. Those who can master it, master all. It is a good creed for rogues, and commends itself to tyrants in every age." (What We Can't Not Know, Budziszewski, p. 167)

Obsessed with power, 'elite' nihilists loathe not only the living God in His transcendence but also the spiritual image of God in other men as well as their exercise of moral choice. To attain their goal of domination, nihilists must reduce men to apes, troglodytes, pond scum, or meaningless matter in motion through the teaching of Darwinism, for with his person obliterated and deprived of moral choice said Ellis Sandoz,

“…man effectively ceases to be human and becomes little more than a species—a herd of cattle, even an insect. The dehumanization of man is the first task of the humanist. Dostoevsky called it the creation of the ‘Ant Heap,’ the building of the ‘Tower of Babel.’ Starting from unlimited freedom, the man-god arrives at unlimited despotism.” ((Political Apocalypse: A Study of Dostoevsky’s Grand Inquisitor,” Ellis Sandoz, p. 196)

Nihilists have freely chosen to defect from the living God and His will, hence they are void of faith, hope, joy, patience, love, truth, humbleness, perseverance, submission in all things to the Will of God, and blessed eternal life. Nihilists are like their father the devil, thus they are full of skepticism, lies, sophistry, revulsion, burning envy, impatience, seething hatred, jealousy, rebelliousness, blasphemy, death-wishing and eternal life in Hell.

Nihilists teeter precariously atop an abyss, sick with fear of falling into nothingness. They love no one—not their fellow man or the living God and not themselves, for by their defection they have rejected the living God and source of their humanity. In their Promethean pride they have lacerated and reduced themselves to non-beings. And so the rebellion of man against the living God and creation ends not only in the murder of God but in the murder of man as well, which explains why the death-wishing nihilist, Peter Singer, is acclaimed by Western elite-nihilists.

Among the so-called 'enlightened' crowd, philosopher and bioethicist Peter Singer is perhaps the most acclaimed and toasted ethical philosopher alive. Singer is a shock-trooper of evil. According to his satanically-inverted 'ethics,'

"“Membership of the species Homo sapiens is not enough to confer a right to life.” (‘Just being human doesn’t give you a right to live’: Peter Singer sums up pro-abortion philosophy," Hillary White, Wed Aug 15, 2012

Singer is among the cadre of leading nihilists who maintain that being a human being isn’t enough to confer any legal rights. To be a “person,” said Singer, one must fulfill a particular set of criteria. And since no man is created in the spiritual image of the God Who has been "murdered" by 'elite' nihilists, then the unborn have no God-given right to life. Singer argues:

"The fallacy in the anti-abortion argument lies in the shift from the scientifically accurate claim that the fetus is a living individual of the species Homo sapiens to the ethical claim that the fetus therefore has the same right to life as any other human being.” (ibid)

Just as Hitler published his murderous intentions so has Singer, who is more candid than the rest of the West's 'elite' class. And just as Hitler must have been cursed for letting the cat out of the bag, so must today's shock troopers of evil be cursing Singer for saying out loud what they really think despite that Singer,

" possibly the most read, most listened-to, and most followed thinker of our times. So ubiquitous are his ideas in academia, government, and most prominent medical ethicists throughout the Western world that most people parroting them often have no idea they are following him." (ibid)

The West's 'ruling class' are death-wishing nihilists. Their Promethean rebellion against the living God and creation ends not only in the murder of God but in the murder of man as well, thus their satanic death-wishing explains why Peter Singer is acclaimed by Western elites.

Within the last few years the general public has finally begun to become aware of the origins of the West's cultural sickness. Unfortunately, these evil ideas have had many long years in which to slowly spread their poisoned tendrils into every corner of Western society and human endeavor. Already they have poisoned the Christian-based foundations upon which Western civilization was built. And as Sponville made clear, when Christianity is finally dead, there will be nothing left of our civilization, nothing with which to either oppose, "fanaticism from without or...nihilism from within....and contrary to what most people seem to think, nihilism is the primary danger."

In this light, it is utterly critical that we clearly see and understand the bigger picture---that what we are fighting is spiritual---an evil system of thought, a strange fire in the minds of death-wishing nihilists. Hillary White concludes:

"It is not about overturning Roe v. Wade or the Abortion Act 1967. It is about defeating an entire new philosophical culture, a system of thought governing all human action. This new set of ideas has created the abortionist and pansexualist regime we are fighting in the pro-life movement. The sexual revolution did not spring out of nothing in 1965." (ibid)
